This was a rough time for us to get Harrison exercise. He started crawling just before 7 months and he was a big boy, so I’m told it is much harder to wear them out. I struggled to come up with ideas when I was researching so I thought I would pop a few here!
Lots of time on the floor to get those muscles ready for crawling – we did time on his knees (in an upright position) and on all fours (over someone’s leg or similar) on the recommendation of Physio.
Fresh air wears babies out, goodness it wears me out too and it still wears Harrison out as a toddler. So we would do alfresco tummy time at least once or twice a day! It was also lovely to be out in the sunshine each day.
