From 1-May-2015 the National Construction Code (NCC) is available online for free individual use. You can access it in both online and digital download formats.

To access the NCC, please visit the AustralianBuilding Codes Board website and create your own free account.

The NCC is divided into four volumes:

Volume 1 : Building Code of Australia (BCA) (Class 2 to 9 buildings) - Containing the requirements for multi-residential, commercial, industrial and public buildings.

Volume 2 : Building Code of Australia (BCA) (Class 1 and 10 buildings) - Containing the requirements for residential buildings.

Volume 3 : Plumbing Code of Australia - Containing the plumbing and drainage requirements for all classes of buildings.

Performance Requirements Extracted - This document is a consolidation of the NCC Performance Requirements for all classes of buildings. The extract reflects the legal requirements of the NCC.
