Your motivation for change, flickers likes a dim light in the distant.

There is still hope for reaching your goals.

We mistake lack of motivation with getting off track. But that’s not necessarily true unless you stayed demotivated. You simply just need to be motivated (recharged). Sometimes before you achieve your goals you have to go through some stuff. You have to fight tooth and nail, not just to fight, but to win. That may involve you having to go to hell and back just for you to get learn something.

If properly channeled, your problems can serve to be fuel toward motivating you to actually doing something about it.

You Need To Commit To Change Now!

The job market isn’t what it used to be; you could be in some real trouble if you don’t change something now.

You’re required to give more of your time, energy, and focus. They can demand more from you but you’re not in a position to demand more pay from them. You can’t set your own price. I have seen old women working minimum wage jobs that 6 years ago some high school kid would have gotten to gain work experience.

People are still trying to finance their whole lives looking for one income source to supply everything their life demands.

People hate their jobs, and lives. You know it’s bad when you get excited that you’re sick because it means you don’t have to go to work for a couple of days.

You can do better, but Why haven’t you?

Get Heart Attack Serious

Most of the people we consider successful have had one thing in common. That is what John Carlton calls the “Gun to Head” approach. You have to be so serious about your success that if you don’t make it then you’ll pull the trigger. BANG! Game over.

Take 15 minutes and write down everything you have done to the things you don’t want in your life?

Then after you review your list then ask yourself if you’re actions show that you’re really serious.

Find Your Passion and Live for more than just getting money.

Seriously where are you going in life?

If you don’t know then by the end of this post I highly recommend you find out. Don’t just settle for an income goal. Everyone wants that. You need to start living with things more aligned with whom you are and what you are best suited to do while still making sure you take care of the bare necessities.

But it starts with finding that passion and giving a bigger reason behind why you must change now.

Change always starts with you first.

It all comes down to your development as a person. If you have a money problem then you can trace it back to having a bad money mindset with complimenting habits to accompany it. Your motivation should be channeled to change you first. Burn the midnight oils to develop you. Allow your problems to squeeze you like the oil from the olive allowing yourself to be under the right kind of pressure that forces the best stuff to come out of you and have a positive impact your world

You just don’t get it, why can’t you make something happen even though you have read so many articles, books, and courses? You know what to do but something happens and you don’t do it.

You end up looking like a crazy manic whom is just dwindling on their computer trying to make it happen. (whatever “It” may be)

Every time you set yourself out to reach your income goals you fall flat on your face. But you stay determined to make it work and you try again and again and again. Years pass and your still in the same spot.

It’s frustrating, highly disappointing, demoralizing and Far More Mentally Damaging Then You May Realize.

So what is going to be so different in this post that you haven’t already read before?

I’m going to show you visually why your business sucks and how to fix it.

I myself have read many articles and have gone to many “Make Money” seminars, and bought 100’s of courses (no exaggeration) on the surrounding topics of personal development and wealth creation.

And you know what I found out?

Making money is simple. All you do is offer a solution to a problem to a group of people whom will most benefit at a price they can easily afford and collect a profit, that’s it.

It is our present mental conditioning that makes it seem like rocket science. Whatever you’re doing, isn’t working. So just investigate where things are going wrong.

Where You Must Start to Bring A Solution to Your Lack of Business Problem?

If money is the problem, then as a business consultant strategist, I would begin by reviewing in depth your current business model starting with these 3 below.

What value are you offering?

Focus on communicating benefits NOT features. Communicate how your product/service makes there life better by making them richer, healthier, giving them more time with family and friends, ect. Basically solve what is causing them pain.

Whom are those whom will most benefit with what your offering?

Knowing your customers by age, income, and lifestyle will help you to further understand how to help them. You can then craft other products/services that to them will seem like a God Send.

What Channels of communication are you using to communicate that value and is it working?

This is usually the anchor problem for those whom are not making any money with there business. If your customers lifestyle is to read blogs with coffee at 8am then you should be on those blogs having conversations and communicating how you can help better there lives.

If you need a list of ways to get more traffic to your website and attract more business, scan the list here.

Check out My Other Post To Discover-> 10 Proven Ways Struggling Business Professionals can Attract More Customers Like Clockwork

Example: Real Case Study

I have a Client that started a website online and didn’t make a single penny. The client came to me wanting to increase his profits online. So I did an evaluation of their current business model and was able to pin point a few problems.

Clients Goal: Build a sustainable business as a primary source of income.

They had a product to sell that was in demand but only had two sources of traffic which was the yellow pages, and a local business listing.

The client doesn’t know:

What group of people where already spending money in their niche?

What Channels of “Communicating Value” were getting results?

What key activities are needed to move the business forward?

Which partners would play a role in helping the business as a whole?

What relationship were they cultivating with potential customers?

What ways they make money, and how does the website assist in that?

What exactly is the value with doing business with them instead of the other guys.

After reviewing this you realize that this person doesn’t really have a business, they just have a pretty website. They operated like this for years and never hired help, or bothered to improve any of these aspects of their business.

Sidenote: You don’t need a lot of customers to make decent money. If you sell a residual product/service for $49 all you need is 1,030 customers roughly to earn $50,000 a month. That’s 600k a year on auto-pilot. Even with a crappy conversion rate.

Bad News….

As beautiful as this may sound, there is a very high possibility your going to mess it all up. Why do I say that? Not everyone but a few of you have had this money problem for a long time.

All the courses, books, seminars, and training about business that I have been apart of share a common problem. They have a very hard time getting people to actually apply the knowledge. For every person there is a different reason on why they don’t apply knowledge.

This solution above is only a tool which takes the “Right Person” to really make it happen. The question you have to ask yourself is “Are you that right person?”

Remember what I said earlier in the beginning of the post? How repeated failure is mentally damaging more then you may notice? There are many problems that you’re facing which are symptoms to a much bigger problem hidden underneath.

You ever feel like your so close to getting that break you need to finally have that kind of success that you can brag about?

No matter how much time you spend working on your business you seem to get no where fast. You may have been wondering how to be successful in your business profession.

It’s frustrating, highly disappointing, demoralizing and far more mentally damaging then you may realize. The problem with being successful is that you first have to “Be” successful.

And that takes some serious internal work.

Majority of the success courses, ebooks, and trainings programs that I have studied spend over 80% off the time repeating the same thing but in different ways. You are whom you think, in your heart, that you are.

The Brutally Honest Truth is that, if you’re “trying” to be successful, then it’s highly possible that you’re crazy.

One of the reasons why you maybe struggling right now is due to your own poor habits, or actions. You are getting in your own way by making something very simple into rocket science.

If you’re simply just trying to grow your business profession, your trying to be a better writer, trying to increase sales, trying to make something happen, you’ll repeat a merciless cycle of self defeat. You will be “trying” forever while driving yourself crazy.

Here’s a Good Example:

If you don’t know Tony Robbins He is a mega super start in helping thousands of celebrities, politicians, entrepreneurs, and many others to figure out the why they do what they do and turn it around.

Anyway,

Tony Robbins was coaching a woman at one of his live events. She said that she came because her marriage was in major trouble and she needed some help. After Tony questioned her about her marriage condition, she kept saying that “I’m Trying, But it’s not working”.

To prove a point Tony asked the woman: “Ok well, try to pick up that chair behind you.”

And as she went to pick it up he stopped her and said

“WAIT! Now you have picked up the chair, I said try to pick it up.”

Then the woman placed the chair back down and Tony said again.

“Now you’ve put the chair back down, I said try to pick it up.”

Then she picked it up again and tony repeated “I said try to pick it up.”

This went on for about 5 minutes until the woman got frustrated and finally said; “Ok, I get it. To be honest I have already decided that this marriage won’t work.”

Then Tony smiled, already knowing this.

People that are successful give it there all or nothing at all. People whom get results in there lives make a decision to achieve something and do it.

Everyday you choose to dominate you mental environment with certain thoughts. If you picture yourself in a less favorable situation majority of the time it creates feelings and actions of self doubt, and fear.

Focusing on words like “I need, I’m Trying, I must” only put you in a state of suspension but never reaching what you intent to reach in the first place.

You have to see yourself already in possession of the thing you desire or else you subconsciously will see trying but never reaching it.

How Do You Begin To Reverse The Self Doubt?

First step: Is to write out whom you want to become and what do you want to receive in life. Consistently see yourself already in possession of it. It may seem like a fantasy solution to a material problem but one successful person after another says the same thing as I have just said.

Close your eyes right now and imagine yourself already in possession of what you desire. Imagine how it feels, what life is like now compared to before when you didn’t have it. What does it look like, sound like, taste like, smell like?

Do that for 15 mins and see if that immediately changes your state of thinking.

Real Life Case Study: How I helped turn the results around with this thinking.

I used to work for Sears, a large retail sales company, as a manager. My team was responsible for enrolling a certain number of credit cards every day. As a team we did ok but we would often miss the mark.

My job was to find out why, and fix it. My job was on the line and my curiosity took over me. What can we do to turn this around?

So, I asked my top performing sales cashiers some questions. I ask if they imaged themselves enrolling a credit card while working?

They all said yes with no hesitation.

I followed up and asked what makes you so confident that you would enroll customers today even though you currently don’t have any enrollments plus there aren’t many people in the store?

They would say that they didn’t know, They just knew that they would at least get one because in the past they have always gotten one.

Satisfied, I moved on.

Now I asked the majority whom were driving our numbers into the negatives,I asked them the same questions. Do you image in your mind yourself getting enrollments today. After some stumbling around they all said no.

Then I asked Why?

They said things like, “The gas prices were too high, people don’t have any money, and credit cards are bad”

We were offering the customers a $15 discount on approval and it only took 2 minutes to try. I admit that it wasn’t the most popular thing to offer but their reasons were weak and irrelevant.

The top performers worked the same shifts as they did and was only 10 footsteps away.

The expectation was only one enrollment a day per person, and the bottom performers would struggle only to get zero enrollments, while the top performers would average 3 per day.

I had some meetings with the cashiers about what I found out. I myself applied the logic, received and maintained results. I later began teaching this to the other cashiers and they also improved.

After helping the sales cashiers overcome their negative images we turned things around and was #1 in sales for the district for 3 months straight.

The Lesson Learned.

Every person whom did above and beyond on their sales goals genuinely saw themselves getting sales that same day even If they didn’t have any. And by the end of the day they would end up having way above their goal for sales.

As the Lead, I had to decipher what was the key ingredients that made some sales reps successful and what made others failures. It was the image that each sales rep held in their mind, no matter if it were true or not.

Stop “trying” to be successful and begin to image yourself already in position of the thing you desire.

The Internet is filled with tons of ways to attract people to your business. But what methods are right for you?

Being a business professional is similar to being an entrepreneur. So you have to develop that same mindset.

But not everyone can do.

It requires a certain level of mentally strength. You need to know how to create a plan and focused your energy on implementing your plan till completion.

So you maybe thinking to yourself that you have to make something happen. It’s time to get the ball rolling with attracting more clients, customers, and ultimately sales.

So today I have put together some proven ways you can choose from to attract more targeted customers to your specific products and services.

Below is a list of 10 most effective ways to attract people to your business online.

There is no particular order. One way is not more effective then another. It’s relative to whom and how you use these ways of marketing.

1. Guest Blogging- Guest blogging is when you write for someone else’s blog. This brings more attention to your website and strengthens your reputation.

A Tip On How To Do It The Right Way:

If you are 100% committed to making business happen with guest blogging then you need to spend some money and get training. I personally enrolled in Jon Morrow’s course on guest blogging and I’m making some progress.

If you’re serious about guest blogging then go here @ Guestblogging(non affiliated link)

A Tip On How To Do It The Right Way:

Behave as if you are at a party and your sole purpose for being there is to meet new people and have interesting conversations. You do not want to be conversate just to promote your business.

Add Me On Facebook and Lets Talk Business or Life

Facebook

3. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) – Your clients look to Google to point them in the right direction. Optimize your website to what you have to offer and get found in the search engines.

A Tip On How To Do It The Right Way:

Go for the low hanging fruit, by targeting keywords that are relevant and are longer then 2 words in length. “Dog Training” is not the long hanging fruit. But “How To Train My Dog” will be easier and quick to rank for.

4. Making How-To Video’s- Your clients maybe looking for how to items they can do by themselves. If you position yourself as the expert whom shows them then this increases attention to you and strengthen your reputation.

A Tip On How To Do It The Right Way:

Don’t forget that to edit it for sound and make sure the lighting is good. Also don’t forget to include a call to action. Give people a good reason to want to visit your website and do business with you.

For Equipment Information Check out Probloggers Video @ The Technical Setup Behind My Videos on ProBlogger

5. Video Blogging- Use video blogging to build a connection to your current and potential clients. Nothing bets face to face conversations. But video is as close as we can get. It will build rapport much better then just plain text on a page.

A Tip on How to Do It the Right Way:

Don’t be negative. People are critical behind the computers and the last thing you want to do is engage in that negativity by arguing on negative comments.

6. Conversing on Popular Blogs Regularly- Find popular blogs that you like and participate in the conversation by commenting on there post. I get sprinkles of visitors from just commenting on other popular blogs. It can be used to build relationships with the blog owner which can lead to other opportunities.

A Tip on How to Do It the Right Way:

Add value to the post. Add to the conversation with saying something that completes the post, or adds another element that maybe has been left out. Be yourself and comment like a real person.

7. Email Promotions Through Partnerships- Offer a deal on your product/service through a partner that already has the audience members you want to market to. This is golden because, your partner benefits for offering more value to there current clients, plus most of the clients are have purchased something from your partner, proving that they are a “buyer” and not “just looking”.

A Tip on How to Do It the Right Way:

The key thing is that you have to make sure that no one else can share this except they persons you give it to, and that it has to be a real product or service that you would normally charge a price for. You have to build a relationship with the potential partners and you it must be something that will be truly valuable for there audience members.

8. Family and Friends Referrals- People do business with those whom they know, like, and trust. Make sure you are professional and present your business the same to those whom you know personally as you would to a stranger.

A Tip on How to Do It the Right Way:

Make it clear what your prices are, and what you are offering. You don’t have to give a steep discount just because you know them. Professionalism will give your family and friends confidence in referring others to you.

9. Webinars- This is like public speaking but online. You get a lot of your target clients to join you on your webinar around a topic around their problem and talk about solutions.

A Tip on How to Do It the Right Way:

There is a whole system set up for doing webinars. There is even a free blueprint about how to sell more in webinars.

You can get the blueprint for free here @ 7FigureSpeakingEmpire (affiliated link)

10. Offline Networking Events- Talk to people in person at events relevant to your profession, entrepreneurial events included. This serves two purposes, you can further develop the mindset as an entrepreneur and connect with key partners that could further your business activities.

A Tip on How to Do It the Right Way:

Be clear on your bigger mission. You will always get asked the question “So, what do you do?” and the last thing you want to say is “I’m a marketing consultant” Why? Because so are the other 1000 people at the event. It doesn’t give any reason why they should choose you over the other marketing consultants. You want to be different. Communicating your bigger passion to serve is a definite way to stick out above the crowd.

You should say something like.

“I Empower Business Professional To Succeed, and Finally Give Them Back There Personal Power To Increase Profits While Having More Time To Do The Things They Love Most.”

How?

I’m a marketing consulting

Makes sense?

Ok so that’s 10 proven ways to help you attract more business to you like flies to watermelon. If you’re just starting out don’t stretch yourself too thin, by trying to do all of them at once. Pick some of the ones that resonate with you and commit to applying those few until you see results.

So, you’re overwhelmed and feeling a bit off balanced with work and life.

You’re trying to find the time and space for all the things your life and business demands of you.

How do you escape from being the victim?

If you’re like me, then you must be categorized as a perfectionist, workaholic, and you can’t forget the infamous “overachiever” so…

If you don’t stop going around in circles trying to balance all your life expectations then you may just self destruct.

Well…if you stick around,

I’ll share with you a simple miniature guide that has been like a God Send for helping me to organize my mental business and life chaos in a fashion where I’m able to clear my mind of mental clutter, capture ideas to build upon, modify them, re arrange them, or

simply dispose of them.

If you apply it, it will have a huge impact on the way you communicate your business ideas, delegate task, and manage your business activities.

So let’s jump right into the meat and potatoes.

What is The Most Effective Tool Used to Capturing the Your Idea’s?

Evernote: Software that allows you to capture the things you like, hear, and see http://www.evernote.com/

Smart Phone: IPhone and Droid operating systems that use certain apps like G task, and notepad

Laptop: which is self explanatory

These are great tools and very useful but…

I would recommend not using them as your primary tools for placing your original ideas.

The most useful, reliable, quick, and accessible tools for this purpose is a good old fashion Pencil and Paper.

Why?

You don’t have to worry about cut/paste, screen shots, downloading more software, downloading apps, ect. In know we live in the age of tech but…

Grabbing pen and paper is second nature. You just grab your pencil and write. But it’s what you do with that idea after you capture it.

So you have an Idea, now what?

How to Systematize this Process in a Nutshell

It’s very important that you already have a designated structure for your thoughts to be placed

Step 1: Take about 15 mins and Outline your life goals.

It needs to be absolutely clear in your mind what you want to accomplish in your life.

Note: You can always come back to redefine or add more.

Step 2: For any goal that requires more 5 steps to achieve, it becomes a “project”. Take 1 min and give those projects a name and go to the next step.

Step 3: Once you have given your project a name you want to do grab a paper and a pencil, then start a brainstorming process.

The brainstorming process will help you clear mental clutter, and allow you to concentrate making you more effective on your day to day task.

How to get clear using the brainstorming process

You would do this process for each project. for now lets focus on just one.

Take 5 mins and outline a smaller goal for this project. This should lead you to the accomplishment of a large life goal.

If this is confusing, don’t worry there is an example further down.

NEXT: take 15 mins max to brainstorm all the steps you think you need to do to accomplish this goal.

THEN: take 15 mins draft a plan by breaking down your brainstormed steps into little tasks that also lead up to the completion of your brainstormed step.

Final Step: Take about 5 Mins and place those small bit sized steps into a daily working planner.

Place all the project info in a file, label it, then store it. Then Repeat the process for your next project

Then you’re done…

*Note*Any time you get a new idea ask yourself ….

Is this relevant to a project I created? If so capture it, then place it in the folder to come back to it.

Now your Ideas should all have a place to go.

Need an Example?

Let’s say one of your life goals is to “Make a Full Time Income from home”. That is definitely a multi-step process. So you would label this as a project and give this project whatever name you wish.

Project Name: Work Full Time From Home

Next create a smaller goal, and brainstorm some steps you would have to do in order to reach your bigger life goal.

Smaller Goal: Start a business I’m passionate about.

Drafted Steps: ( these steps can and will change as time goes on)

1. Get educated on how I can do that this.

2. Have a house meeting about what I want to do and how we can work together to obtain it.

3. Get advice from people I know that have already started a business.

Bite sized steps (Try to break them down into 15 minute task)

1. Take 30 minutes and search online business Ideas I’m passionate about starting.

2. Call Terry and ask him how he got started and any advice he can give.

3. Go to staples to get a planner.

Then I repeat the process for my next project

The Bottom Line To Being Focused

If you want to stop being pulled left and right by thinking that you need to work on all your business and life ideas at once then

You need to get organized and set some realistic priorities. Far too many of us

Slave away working on projects, favors, mediocre ides that are not in line with our overall ultimate life goals. It is essential in being successful…

that you have clarity of mind. Concentrate and put in the necessary effort to learn what works for your life. The more you systematize your business and life the more you can plug in others to help…

And create more time for yourself.

We often have many Idea’s but it’s what we DO with those ideas that makes the difference in achieving success.

Make this day a success.

How to avoid the disappointment and frustration of not being able to complete your entire list of “To-Do”.

General guidelines successful people, like Brain Tracy, uses to actually accomplish more with their time.

And How to utilize those guidelines to insuring that what you’re doing is actually moving you closer to your desired goals.

Plus What critical thing solo business professionals should focus on right now.

Image Source :graur razvan ionut / FreeDigitalPhotos.net

Have you ever written long To-Do list thinking that you can complete it all in a day’s time? How often do you ever accomplish everything on the list?

Here is a deeper question. Do you have a ‘time till completion’ column next to each activity? It is not very often that you can find an individual with this on their list.

How often do we write these long lists of activities with no idea of how long it will take to complete each activity? You may have two activities on your list and each requires 4 hours of your time, energy, and focus. That is 8 hours gone from your day, and completing two activities will not put a dent in a long list.

“Creating an unrealistic To-Do list leaves you to feeling unaccomplished, inadequate, unproductive, and stuck in the endless cycle of To-Dos; aka, “I’m busy.”

Don’t Expect To Fly To The Moon and Back In One Day.

You do not have to place a time on each activity in order for you to be effective, but it does bring to scope what you can actually accomplish today and what needs to be set aside for tomorrow. The objective is to know approximately how much time, energy, and focus is required to complete each task on your list.

If you are the only person operating your business, then that means you are the I.T. guy, tax specialist, sales rep, networker, marketer, website designer, media personnel, lawyer, consultant, and everything else.

You cannot wear all those hats and expect to fly to the moon and back all in one day. Learn to delegate and build teams around people whom specialize in specific categories of your needs. Set realistic expectations on what you can do in a day. Starting out solo is tough, but focus your efforts on the things that matter first.

It’s Critical That Solo Business Professionals Focus on Bringing in More Business First.

Before you build a team of people you pay to take over complete projects on your list. You need to have certain systems already in place. Assuming that you have systems such as a product line and sales funnel then the bulk of your activities should be marketing and sales.

Numerous successful business professionals repeatedly say that an individuals’ primary focus should be getting in front of people whom can benefit the most from what you have to offer. This is one of the most important start-up activities for a starting business. If done right, the mystery can be take out of the marketing and simplified into a concrete formula.

Example: If you attend multiple business events and after attending three of those events, you notice a pattern. Every time you attend an event, you meet 10 people and on average, three of those people become customers and one a partner.

“Your marketing goal is to put a relevant offer in front of a relevant customer at a relevant time, track the results, and make the necessary adjustments along the way.”

The Brain Tracy’s A, B, C List That Can Eliminate 90% of Your “Tail Chasing” Work

Some days you’ll find yourself trapped taking care of the urgent and immediate things. I call this tail chasing. I call it that because you’re busy but you don’t actually accomplish anything worth while. At the end of that day you should be able to chart how far you are from your desired goal.

A General Explanation of How The A.B.C Process Works

I got this process from Brain Tracy ,a personal effectiveness speaker and author. I applied this to my life with great results so I wanted to share it with you today.

1. Answer: What are your objectives? (Be very specific in writing your objectives.)

Example: My objective is to help 100 people become better at writing.

2. Prioritized what activities you need to do to reach your objectives. (You can use this labeling system: A, B, C, D, and E. and place numbers to prioritize A labeled activities such as A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, etc)

Example:

A1.develop a course for aspiring writers. A2. build relationships with aspiring writers.

A- Core Activities:

These are core activities, which positively influence your future. They are the most important activities you can be working on right now. For a business professional with goals of growing there business pass start up phase, thier A- activities will be things such as: networking, sales presentations, advertising, speaking engagements, coaching, consulting, co-hosting, and many more.

These are just general activities and is up to each individual based on there objectives to define what activities will be considered core activities

B- Urgent Activities

These are urgent activities that must be done immediately and can influence your life only today. They are administrative-based activities. For a business professional these activities will be: blog posting, answering customer service calls, writing proposals, pay hosting invoice, have team meeting, project planning, and many more.

It’s Important to note: most of us get stuck right in these category of activities. This is what I refer to as tail chasing activities. These are urgent but don’t quite move you closer to your desired goal like your core activities.

Prioritizing helps to insure that these activities are taken care of in a timely manner. Other activities we haven’t yet discussed will help alleviate you from doing all these task by yourself. Read further to see how.

C- Must Do Activities

These are activities that would be nice-to-do if you have completed activities A and B on your list. For a business professional these will be activities such as: read article about stock investing, send interview questions to for interview next month, organize office space, redo filing in business drawer, correct image off setting on website, and many more

Again these are general, and notice that they don’t have to be done immediately like A and B task. So these can be put off to another day if you don’t have the time to get to them.

D- Delegate Activities:

These activities do not require your attention. You can delegate them to others, while you spend your time on A and B activities. For a business professional these will be activities such as: send over PDF file, email meeting notifications, upload task manager, fax copy to XYZ Company, and many more

As you build systems soon you will be able to delegate A, B, and C activities. If you really want to eventually remove yourself from being the center piece in your business then learn to build systems that accomplish task that anyone can follow and duplicate.

E- Eliminate Activities:

These are activities you can eliminate from you list. Most of the time we think that something is important and that we need to do them. But as you prioritize your list you realize that either isn’t not a core level activity, or It’s not as immediate as paying invoices due, organizing your office desk space. It’s not worth delegating, it’s not really impactful toward my goals and should just be eliminated.

Conclusion- Prioritize and Organize

If you’re frustrated because you know you can do more in a day but you just can’t seem to cut it. Then follow the general A, B, C list and make sure you prioritize your task. So that you insure what you’re doing is actually productive. You can do 100 things in a day but what did you actually accomplish that moved your goals closer to realization? Remember not to make unrealistic expectations without accounting for what it would require to complete a task.

Brief 2 word phrase to put your mind at ease

Effective Profile Examples

Breaking the Ice with potential clients, partners, friends

2 Simple Words

If your struggling to get people to pay attention to you and your business on twitter, then I have 2 simple words for you. STOP IT! Now I know that may come off as a shock to you but I really mean it in the most helpful way.

You Look Desperate, and Nobody wants to do business with Desperate people.

Your becoming like all the other masses of people out there. Tweeting headlines of articles that soo many other people have already tweeted just because. RT people’s content just because your following them or that’s what your were told your suppose to do. Stop it, nobody is interested in your business… yet.

The Good News

Since your still reading this then I have great news for you.You see most people are self centered especially when it comes the term Social Media. Everyone is trying to promote themselves and there business. But you can gain the upper hand. You can be one of the very few people whom actually stand out as social media super stars.

So Here’s The tips, You can grab some Hot Tea here if you like.

The idea is to stop trying to do social media and start becoming more social and connect. That’s it … don’t try to get people to come to your site just start by making genuine connections with people and they will naturally be interested in what you do.

Twitter Profile Pointers: Good Vs Bad & Why

Make sure people can read your profile and get a good idea of the type of person you are.

Bad Example of this.

First off if you look at the followers you would think that this person is doing well. But there are a couple of things that make this a bad example for “Not Connecting”

The is not face or personal connection at all. There is a lack of trust and no real reason to connect to them besides follower count. and maybe an interest in RT there information.

No personal description of what they are all about. Instead they could have put “ Struggled at affiliate marketing Now I don’t, I help others to repeat my success. I’m a father of 2 beautiful girls, adventurous, health conscious, and have zero tolerance for failure. ( It doesn’t have to bee that corny but you get what I’m saying)

The website link doesn’t work, even if you google just the name it’s some random page not found message.

Affiliate News 1? really who follows someone like this.

If you look for and @ conversations on find only one way conversations that Affiliate news is sending personal @messages to those individuals. It’s chessy, impersonal, and just down right spam-ish.

Good Example Of This

I actually had a two line interaction with Katy, it was genuine and funny. (I don’t get anything for using her as an example she probably don’t even know it)

She has more followers and on way more list. This means that she is doing a better job at being social and so people reward her with putting here on list, following, and RT.

If you look at her @ conversations, you see way more two way interaction and way less promotion of her business.

She mentions something about being social which allows people to connect to that statement and feel open to engage with her with confidence that she is more likely to respond back.

Tip to Increasing your Twitter Integrations

Tip #1 Send a Personal Thx for following and a genuine comment. using the @thierusername. Nobody pays attention to direct messages, heck I even forgot that they even existed.

Look at there profile and find something about them interesting and comment about it. something

Example <s>@</s>socialkaty hey Thx for the follow, really cool ninja site you have. I was just telling my brothers about taking some ninja classes.

Tip#2 Make open ended comments that allow them to opt-in for small talk:

people are shy and twitter is just a small talk to share things of common interest. if you really want to get to know someone then direct them go on Facebook, Linked in, or their Personal Blog.

If you Follow these Tips And Guidelines You should get messages like these.

Lastly Connect

In order to connect you have to “Be On A Mission”. You want to connect with someone that shares the same cause as you do. If your not doing that then why connect. The connection would have a much better chance to lead into a partnership, referral, subscription, or sale.

Here’s The Problem

It’s typical for a starting consultant to lack confidence, not be clear on there goals, not know which consultant service to focus on, or how they are different from all the other 1000 consultants. So you find yourself in a business “mess”

You Need to Get Out the Mess Phase.

First you have to develop clarity and get yourself out of the mess phase. A lot of people call it brain storming, or strategies but to make things more interesting im going to refer to this as the “Mess Phase”. As an business professional we have so many ideas going through our heads we often don’t know how to deal with them. There are 2 ways you need to handle these Ides.

* Capture Ideas The Moment They Come To You.

Carry an idea notebook, mobile device, or voice recorder. Get them out of your head and on to a blank canvas where you can get a birds eye view of all the thoughts in your head.

* Next you Want to Organize Your Ideas

Once you have the ideas in front of you then you can Eliminate stupid ones, note future ideas to expand on in your later development, find patterns of things you can focus on right now, and notice gaps of things that you need to focus on right now.

During this process it may become evident that you need a clear systematic approach to one or multiple parts of your business operation or service you offer. Here is a basic approach that can give you idea’s to create your own custom process.

The 5 Critical Things – Starting Small then Going Big

1. Learn what is the latest and greatest methods of offering your services.

Ways you can do this is going to entrepreneur events, local meet ups, talks with experts online, webinar presentation, buy books on your topics of service, and finding a person whom has been doing what you want to do for 10 years or more and learn from them.

2. Draft It, The Battle of Self Confidence Begins Here.

In this step you put to the test for yourself what you have learned and see if it works FOR YOU. If what your selling works for you? Nobody can tell you that it doesn’t work. This brings inner confidence that what your selling is the real deal.

3. Documenting Your Results To Show Tangible Results

There are two reasons why this is beneficial to you. Your learning in the process so that when you or someone else has to complete the process again it is clearly documented the best, most effective way to go about it. Plus Your building a track record that you can show as proof to other people that what you do works.

Example. My system(process) generates 10 leads a week, and 1 lead to you is worth $100. My system is only going to cost you $299 And if for some reason my system doesn’t work for you then you can have a Full Refund.

4. Offer An Introductory Price At First. *Critical Info Below*

If you don’t have much of a track record starting off then offer your service at an “Introductory Price” you don’t want to devalue what you do but you want to make the purchase make sense for the client. Why charge them Full Price when you don’t have much of a track record?

Example: My service price is currently set for $499 per hour. But Today I’m offering a $199 Introductory price BUT my regular price is $499 (basically your getting a Steal.)

Later as you gain more confidence and the track record to justify high fees then you can raise your prices and target bigger fish whom can pay these fee’s. Who knows soon you may have exclusive clients that have to qualify themselves by accomplishments just to work with you.

Once you have this process laid out in front of you and you went through the necessary grind for your clients to find out what works, what doesn’t and your able to show tangible results, there is nothing to sell anymore it becomes a no brainier purchase.

5. Refine and Repeat Process.

As you take on more projects from a hands on approach, you learn tremendously. You find ways to do things better and more efficient, opportunities to increase profits, build more working opportunities for friends & family, develop simple systematic processes, define more clearly the value of what you offer, and positions your self to scale your progress and Go Big

Recap:

1. Thinking Big but starting small

You have a great Ideas flying in and out of your head but capturing them and organizing them in a way to start small with those ideas and expand on them as it works and develops itself.

* Testing your Ideas and Information There is a distinctive difference in learning information from an hands on approach verses learning through reading material. Learning is the first step to getting results from the knowledge your gaining.

3. Documenting Your Results To Show Tangible Results

During the process of applying what you know document detailed steps that you had to take to get your desired result. This way you earn your confidence and you know what to do, how to do it, and what it will take to obtain it. Plus you can prove it with documented progress.

4. Offer An Introductory Price At First.

Your just starting out and there are some process’s you will have to refine before you take on bigger fish. start small and get paid for the things your doing, take the opportunity to work out the kinks and then slowly raise your prices and take on bigger clients.

5. Refine and Repeat

Take note on things you learned and how to make things better for your client and your business. Having this process allows you to be able to step out of working in your business and minimize your time working and maximize your time spent on invaluable things like family, friends, traveling, and reflecting on your life.

Ever wonder if your life situation will ever get better? Every year we sing the same New Years countdown. We generally make the same resolution as we did last year. “This Year Will be Different” but is it?

Today could be your chance to do something different. If you just do one thing outside of your comfort zone then that would be one step closer to living a more enriching life. In this article I want to expose to you 7 signs that will warn you that your life is headed downhill.

Sign#1 Your Too Uncomfortable To Meet New People

I know deep down inside you want that genuine human connection. But , Hey… I get it. Were so comfortable with just sticking to the few good people we already know. That’s fine you can still have your crew, but If you want to really change your life then you need to position yourself to meeting more interesting people. For some reason meeting new people is frightening so here are a few quick pointers.

1. Let go of the fear and just be you

If your a perfectionist then say it. people will find it interesting, well at least the one’s that you want. Your aim is to attract those people that naturally are interested in the things that make you who you are.

2. You can’t please everyone

If the joke is not funny you don’t have to add that extra laughter. you can smile and be courteous but don’t torture yourself because they will think your enjoying yourself and continue the social awkwardness.

3. Try not to start conversations just to do so

It’s awkward and unnecessary. Comment on things that interest you and ask about things you think may be mutually interesting to the other person.

Sign #2 You haven’t Been To a Library in Years

Open your mind to a whole new world of never studied topics, potential new hobbies, and stimulation of the brain. Reading forces you to simplify what is being read and gets you to just imagine what someone is describing to you in words. Unlike the internet what you find on the libraries would be more creditable.

It takes more effort to write a book then it does to write a blog post on Blogger. The mental stimulation and information you will possess will make you a more interesting person to speak to and improve the quality of your life.

Sign #3 Your Unaware of What is Happening Around the World

If you watch the news for any longer then 4 hours you would think the whole world is coming to an end any day now. That means the media is doing there job and there doing it well. I’m not saying to bury yourself with every waking issue, but I think it is healthy for any person to be knowledgeable about what is happening in the world and more importantly how it is effecting them.

When I see stories of other people around the globe that have to dive into a dangerous river every day in hopes of catching fish to bring home to his family, for a moment I get a glimpse of there reality. That leads me to think about how my reality and there’s differs and at times it makes me think how spoiled I am.

I can just go to the market and buy it. Things like this changes your perspective on what is really important in life and what we take for granted. If you spend your life constantly acting only on your own perspective then you’ll never change.

Sign #4 You Haven’t Genuinely Connected To Your Family In A While.

How many times have you seen a room full of people where most of them are looking down at some mobile device? Now if your around the age of 16 to 22 then that is the norm of communicating. I visited my brother whom is 19, and my sister whom is 16 last year and they spent more time with there buddy “Iphone” then actually connecting with the people in the room.

The ” How are you?” statement is only a ice breaker. To make the connection more genuine you have to honestly ask for advice from family or there opinion on things that may be troubling you in your daily life. This works great with parent figures. For the young ones, just sharing mistakes you made while you were there age makes them laugh and they will feel more open to share with you things more freely.

Sign #5 You Eat Healthy and Exercise Just to Lose Weight

Food is medicine, our body needs food for the nutrients it provides. Exercise improves the bodies internal organ functions. So many people are obsessed about carbs, calories, and there physical body image. Worrying about your image only causes unnecessary stress, low self esteem, and depression. Healthy isn’t skinny, healthy is having balanced body functions.

If we focus on eating food because of how it will help to improve the body functions and incorporate physical activities to keep the heart healthy, then the weight loss thing will take care of itself. If your just plain old tired of going to the gym, then start a new physical hobby that requires you to move your body.

Take a dancing class, rally up the kids and every week play your favorite outdoor sport, take up a martial arts, or challenge yourself to a bike trail. Try to get creative and choose something that you would enjoy and would be easy to make a lifestyle.

Sign #6 Your Becoming A Grumpy Old Man or Woman

We have all been there. Your at work and someone just pisses you off every time without fail. You come home and you have to deal with the daily drama episode that seems to play on all day long. You want to quit your job but you have to stop thinking about it now because in an hour or so you have to go to bed and hopefully get at least get 6 hours of sleep before you go back in tomorrow. Your job sucks, relationships are reduced to a choir, money is short like always, there is nothing life changing to look forward to, your life just plain stinks.

The problem is that negativity is contagious and we find all sorts of reasons to make small problems bigger problems. Not to say that your problems are small but it could be worse. Think about this, you can be Homeless and not know where your next meal is coming from, You could be the only working member in the household because the rest of your family is disabled.

You could be very sick and unable to see your family anymore because in a few days your going to die of a rare disease, or You could be a tortured hostage in a different country and not know if you will make it out alive to tell you family you love them. What I’m saying is be grateful for what you do have and cherish your life now. It may not be perfect but it can always get better. This will give you at least a spark of hope then you’ll be in a better mind frame to bring solutions to these problems. Just stick with me and my blog

Sign #7 You don’t take time to smell the Roses Like You Used to.

We live in a digital age, where there is serious discussion about implanting robotic parts into human beings as being the new wave of technological advancement. I’m against this type of thing but the reason I mentioned it here is because it shows you how far away we are moving from what is natural and towards something more unnatural. Even our money is reduced to digits on a screen, that can’t be natural.

It’s becoming the norm to carry a mobile computer device with you everywhere you go, were increasingly buying less in the physical stores and more online. Humans are communicating less in person and more online, were increasingly spending more working hours behind a computer then we do outside amounts natural habitats. We get so buried in our digital world that we can’t take time out of our day and “Smell the Roses”.

To Bring calm to the mind I suggest going to the park, taking the scence route home, going camping for a week, or go to the beach and put your feet in the sand and feel as the waves brush your legs, and the warm breeze of air brush your body, while you stare off into the ocean view in awe. You know something like that . There is a natural connection we have to this earth and the more time we spend amounts natural habitats the more we find a part of ourselves and see whats is really important in our life.
