I am often asked this question - Where do I start to bring the positive change in my life ?

Usually my answer is that Success is a system... it is a process. And I explain this with the help of 5 pillars that I created to bring the personal and professional transformation in the lives of people.

The Five Pillars Are-

1. INSPIRATION
2. ACTION
3. PURPOSE
4. VISION
5. EXECUTION

Nothing in this world happens without INSPIRATION, it is a fuel for the action in our lives.

ACTION is the natural byproduct of Inspiration. Get clear on what are your goals and take “ACTIONS” accordingly. So what is ONE opportunity on which you must take ACTION right now?

When you are coming form a place of inspired action…Your PURPOSE shows up. What is that you are passionate doing? Ask yourself - Why do I do what I do. THAT IS YOUR PURPOSE.

Once you know what is ‘the contribution’ you want to make to the world your VISION becomes Clear and Big. If you knew you could not fail…. What would you like to do?

When your Vision becomes clear you need to EXECUTE. Get off one task that is draining the energy out of you. Outsource the task that you dislike doing most and this way your productivity will increase.

Incorporate these 5 pillars in your life to bring personal and professional transformation.

Source: Five pillars to personal and professional transformation

Open the following PDF if you are interested in knowing more about the Leadership And Business Coaching 31 July course details.

25 ways to improve your cognitive abilities

Image via Wikipedia
Almost everyone would love to take advantage of ways to boost their brain power and become smarter, no matter how smart they already are. Here we are, on this spinning rock ball, in the middle of endlessly vast space, in a thin and fragile protected environment absolutely necessary to us if we’re to stay alive. We come into the world, and then, after an undetermined amount of time, we’re gone. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

(Actually, if you think about it, it would be more accurate to say that we come OUT of the world, like an apple comes out of an apple tree, but that’s another story, for another day.)

When you think about it, doesn’t it strike you that this whole business of being a person is quite weird? I mean, what’s it all about? Why is it happening? Is there any purpose to it? If so, what is it?

Read the rest of this great piece, at The Blog That Ate Mind Chatter. If you just think about the changes you want to make, what’re the chances that you’ll have forgotten all about it by the time your next exam, report, fitness attempt, or diet comes around? You wouldn’t try to keep your diary for the year in your head – so don’t keep other important information there too. Write it down, and you can always refer back to it to jog your memory.

Secondly, writing can seriously help your thought process. This does depend a bit on how your brain’s wired – some of us find it easier to think things through by talking about them, or by doing something with our hands. But most people do get a boost from writing: the process of putting thoughts into words helps you to get greater clarity about them.

And thirdly, the act of writing something down makes you feel more accountable – you’re more likely to do it. Many studies have shown that people who write down their goals are more likely to succeed than those who don’t. And avoiding wasting precious time, energy and money on repeating your mistakes is definitely a worthy goal to have."

Source: www.dumblittleman.com by Ali Hale

Our personal integrity is only as high as the integrity of the rest of society

To assume that a person must be "structurally motivated" or hence "forced" into doing anything, is just absurd. Think back to when you were a child and had no idea what money even was. You played, were curious and did many things... why? Because you wanted to. However, as time goes on in our system, that natural curiosity and self-motivation is stripped away from people, as they are forced to conform to the specialized, compartmentalized, nearly predefined labor system in order to survive. This, in turn, often creates a natural rebellion within the person due to the forced obligation, and this is how we came up with "leisure" and "work" separations. The laziness assumed to exist by the monetary system proponents (who claim it produces incentive) do not recognize this. In a true society, people would follow their natural inclinations and work to contribute to society not because they are "paid" for it, but because they have a greater awareness which recognizes that contributing to society helps them just as much as everyone else. This is the heightened state of awareness we hope to communicate. Your reward for contributing to society is the well being of that society... which, in turn, furthers your well being.

It is time to stop the patchwork. It is time to begin a new social approach which is updated to present day knowledge. Sadly, society today is still largely based on outmoded, superstitious dispositions and resolutions.

It is also important to point out that there are no utopias or endings. All evidence points to perpetual change on all levels. In turn, it is our personal actions everyday of our lives that mold and perpetuate the social systems we have in place. Yet, paradoxically, it is also our environmental influences which create our perspectives and hence world views. Therefore, true change will come not only from adjusting your personal understandings and decisions, but equally from changing the social structures that influence these understandings and decisions.

Source: www.thezeitgeistmovement.com

Shutdown Computers Tomorrow

Can you survive for 24 hours without your computer?

Shutdown Day announces the Annual 2009 Campaign. He was dying and wanted company on his journey. He wondered, “Will any of my wives accompany me to the next life?”

He asked his first wife, “My dear wife, I loved you day and night, I took care of you throughout my whole life. Now I am about to die, will you please go with me wherever I go after my death?”
The first wife said, “My dear husband, I know you always loved me. You are dying. Now it is time to separate from you. Goodbye, my dear.”

He called his second wife to his sickbed to ask her to follow him in death. “My dear second wife, you know how I loved you. Sometimes I was afraid you might leave me, but I held on to you strongly. My dear, please come with me.”
The second wife answered rather coldly. “Dear husband, how can I follow you? You loved me only for your own selfish sake.”

He asked his third wife to follow him. With tears the third wife also refused, “My dear, I pity you and I feel sad for myself. Therefore I shall accompany you to the graveyard. This is my last duty to you.”

Now he called his fourth wife for whom he didn’t care very much. He had treated her like a slave and had always showed much displeasure with her. She certainly would say no.
But when he asked, she answered, “My dear husband, I will go with you. Whatever happens, I will be with you forever. I cannot be separated from you.”

Would you like to know why on earth this story is posted here, and what it is all about? Have a listen at the video. Notice the before and after looks on the faces of the judges and the audience. Also notice Susan's determination to remain unphased as she stands before them all on that stage. They had taken one look at her and made a false judgment, but even now, they are looking at Ms. Boyle in the light of having at least given this lady a chance. Her gift to sing beautifully far out-shines the way she is perceived if one were to judge the outside package alone.

Susan Boyle is a beautiful life lesson in simple trappings. She had the courage to stand there, wiggle, smile, joke, in spite of the initial reactions she garnered, and that lady sang. Public speaking, public performance of any kind, is the number one fear among people every where. During her five minutes of fame, now far extended, this woman taught at least three lessons: be yourself, be courageous, use your talent - no matter what.

The saddest thing is that too many pre-judge at all!

Source: Karen Chaffee at utipsenhanceyourlife.blogspot.com

Living In An Abundant Universe

Most people think that having money will solve all of their “problems”. Or having money will give them the capability to have experiences, feelings or a quality of life they don’t have now.

I’m sure you’ve thought about having a huge pile of money and what you would be feeling like … excitement, aliveness, powerful, a sense of security, being a “big cheese”. Perhaps you even thought you would have the time freedom to do what you love to do, relax and play.

I know its fun thinking about all of this. However, money and other desired “toys” by themselves won’t fill your needs or give you the feeling you want to experience.

“Huh?”, you say. “I thought you were telling me to think about the things I want and desire.”

Well, yes we are. AND, you have to go deeper than just the “thinking” or the “having” of the thing. You have to go within yourself and come from the RESULT that you want. The pieces of paper with dead presidents on them aren’t going to give you the “feeling of aliveness” in your life.

Read the rest of this article at destinydesignersblog.com...

Your Core Values

<img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/7f/Dipole_field.jpg/202px-Dipole_field.jpg" alt="Dipole field from NASA. The unique being that is You. The sum total of all that you have experienced, accumulated over the years. Your programming, conditioning, influences, externally and internally. And it makes up your thinking, your beliefs, your perception of the world.

Who are you? What do you want? What makes you happy?

It is important that we enter into a place of self discovery before we embark on goals. True, we have wants and needs at every and any moment in our lives.

You may want that job so you can feed your family with 10 mouths.
You may want that relationship because it means a lot to you.
You may want that successful business.
You may want to be accepted in the group, so you belong with friends you admire.
You may want to be known as the coolest, smartest guy on the planet. Or the greatest teacher. Or be the most successful entrepreneur on earth.

The difference is distinguishing this from what is truly what you want rather than being ego driven and fear driven.

For example, the promotion may not be the end all of what you want. Suddenly we see something that had been invisible, or un-graspable before.

On a personal level, the “A-Ha” may be an answer to a problem or question that has been plaguing us; a sudden awareness of a solution or a new perspective that hits us, seemingly from nowhere, or “out of the blue”. From a deeper level, however, “A-Ha” moments, I believe, are breakthroughs in consciousness where an old, more limited, perspective gives way to an expanded awareness of what is really going on, our part in it, and then a summons to change our choices, behaviors, intentions to align better with this new awareness. Spiritual teachers speak of “waking up”, indicating that what came before was a state of “sleep-walking”, behaving and choosing without awareness.

To me, it is this summons that is the key. Unless insight produces action it is useless — or at best, self-serving — because it only serves to make us feel better.

Source: www.soulscode.com

Respond To Rudeness

If you do feel someone has been rude to you then respond. But gauge your response appropriately... But why Respond to rudeness? Sometimes it just doesn’t seem worth it. Why not just let it go?...

It may seem that the reason to confront someone who is rude to you is as simple as the personal affront to you, the righteous indignation that they shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it. And while I would agree that this is a large part of it, it goes deeper than that. Rude behavior, like all behavior, is habitual and an expression of that person’s thoughts and opinions and mediated by what they believe is appropriate or what they can get away with. And while the shock of seeing an incredible or foreign (to them) modification may distort the boundaries for them, they are not going to act horribly inconsistent with their usual behavior.

Rude people act rude because they think it is ok or that they can get away with it, and they will continue to do so until something makes them think otherwise. Every time you have the opportunity to confront rudeness you have a chance to help reform that person’s behavior. In all likelihood, it will take many confrontations to break the habit of rudeness. And, as we all are all probably familiar, it is much easier for an established habit be reinforced than broken. When you do not confront rudeness, not only do you forgo a chance at helping stop it – you actually encourage it by giving that person the positive reinforcement of getting away with it. Read More >>

Source: www.bmezine.com

Remember too... it is almost February 20th!

Love From Your Valentine

What Valentine’s Day has become is a real travesty. February is the month traditionally assigned to celebrating love. The Greeks were a smart bunch. They had words to communicate the different types of love: eros for romantic love, agape for spiritual love, and philia for friendship love. When I researched the word for self-love, I discovered the word narzissismus, or narcissism, a term rampant with negative connotations. So the positive love of self has been a hard thing for many of us to grasp.

I would like to share with you and my readers the story of St. Valentine because it contains the essence of what we should be celebrating on Valentine’s Day. St. Valentine was not some legendary derivation of Cupid in human form; rather, he was a priest in the third century who, against the mandate of Emperor Claudius, was secretly performing marriage ceremonies. Claudius wanted to build an army and most men at that time did not want to leave their families to go off to war. St. Valentine disobeyed Claudius’ law and was arrested, clearly finding himself in a LifeQuake! And he passed his crisis of faith with flying colors. Young people took up his cause, coming to the jail and throwing flowers and notes up to his window. The daughter of the prison guard kept his spirits up with daily visits. On the day he was beheaded, February 14, he sent her a note thanking her for her friendship and loyalty, signing it, “love from your Valentine.”

As you can see from this story, there were two kinds of love that St. Valentine was honoring: the love between a husband and wife in performing marriages and the love of friendship. This offers an interesting challenge to those of us who are single. In the LifeQuake™ model, we are called to dissolve old programs for living and reinvent ourselves to fit with who we are authentically, outside of the countless cultural and media messages.

Source: The LifeQuake™ Doctor at lifequake.wordpress.com

Mistaking Hard work With Long Hours?

Hard work is thinking past what you can see and choosing to create what you want to see. Who knows your business better than you? The hard work begins when we're no longer willing to accept a paycheck for delivering the status quo, the expected.

We mistake hard work with long hours and measure it by the time we put in rather than by the results we produce. By results I mean producing those things that are not so obvious like a new process that will save your company time and money. The hard work comes in when you dedicate time into making a better product or developing an idea that will change the course of your business.

If you are someone who sits in front of a big blank white surface and are required to create something out of nothing, you know what hard work is. Remember, there is no such thing as “failure”; there is only “feedback”. List your 100 achievements over the last 12-months. You will feel so much more invigorated in creating your next year.

As well as writing down my 100 accomplishments for 2008, I recorded the 100 things I will achieve during 2009. Where I most often fall down with that, is the 'staying focused' part. My first port of call will be to create personal environments that consistently remind me of my original purpose and of my intended, ultimate outcomes.

************************

THIS You Do Not Want To Miss!...
It is my personal link for you to get your hands on this amazing
Free Collection Of Self Improvement Gifts!
Just take your pick, from this select assortment of personal growth material. We remember "back when," or "that time when," or "how it used to be".
Those memories and the emotions that they invoke are wonderful, and to forget or bury them would be nothing less than criminal. However, living from them is just as much of a crime! Your glory days from the past are just that - in the past. No matter how wonderful those days were, they are gone now, and you need to come to terms with that.
You should cherish your past, and learn from your past, and apply what your past has taught you, but your life will never move forward if you are hooked on "the good ol' days". Recognize your past for its positive aspects, utilize the contrast from the negative aspects as a marker for what to avoid in the future, and then let it all go.
Your past - no matter how powerful it may be - is gone. An exponentially more powerful and more glorious future, on the other hand, is nothing but a thought and a commitment away

Source: www.todayisthatday.com

Your Blog's Author With A Brief Update

While you wait for me to resume blogging...

I give you these gifts to enjoy and share:

-ONE-
~ With increased costs and financial uncertainty there are still some great things available for free - please accept this Forward Steps October Birthday Present This gift is time-sensitive and it is something that I WILL NOT be offering to my readers again. Wow.
Admittedly, I decided to make things a bit harder for myself than it could have been. I decided to watch Oprah. The topic? Spoiled rich kids. The last time I saw a four year old, it was on the streets of Dhaka begging and crying for food. Now, I was watching a four year old with her own diamond studded earrings and several thousand dollars worth of Barbie dolls. I think I popped a blood vessel in my head watching that show.
As much as I’d like to go into a tirade about the excesses we have in this part of the world, part of dealing with this kind of culture shock is that you don’t want to become a self-righteous holier-than-thou jerk. We live in a part of the world where it is very easy to get caught up in a way of life that allows us to ignore the plight of others far away from us. But being caught up in this does not mean we’re bad, inconsiderate, selfish or greedy. What it means is that we’re human.
And as humans we can sometimes get caught up in bad habits. In order to break a bad habit, you have to at least admit to it. But ignoring the plight of the global poor isn’t the same as a bad habit like smoking. When you light up, you get scornful looks and pseudo-coughs from others reminding you of your bad habit. But ignoring the plight of the global poor is something all of us (myself included) are guilty of at one point or another while living in this part of the world.
It’s not opulence, it’s not ignorance, it’s not lack of consideration - it’s just a collective bad habit. And, like most bad habits, it’s one that (in the end) will end up hurting us.

Source: Dealing With Culture Shock

Motivation To Act In Your Own Best Interest

"Don't compromise yourself. You're all you've got." Janis Joplin

One form of compromise is learned helplessness - an emotional and behavioral response in which a human being (or other animal) has learned to "give up" or act as if they are helpless, and loses motivation to act in their own best interest in a situation, even when they may really have the power to change that circumstance - or at least their reactions to it.

"Clinical depression and related mental illnesses result from a perceived absence of control over the outcome of a situation." - Martin Seligman, in 1975.

Psychologist and writer Martin Seligman is well known for his work on this idea of "learned helplessness" earlier in his career, but more recently he has become a leader in the field of Positive Psychology, and is author of Authentic Happiness: Using the New Positive Psychology to Realize Your Potential for Lasting Fulfillment.

The ability to pursue the best life for ourselves, the highest levels of excellence and achievement we want, includes feeling energized and motivated. Helplessness outside a laboratory situation, in "real life," is not inevitable. Many people are resilient and thrive. But it is not a simple matter of willful optimism; we need to be aware of the social conditions and our often hidden reactions that can lead to feeling helpless.

Source: Learned helplessness, mojo and serenity

A Possibility Thinker Must Be Able To Imagine

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mElV0tcMU4Q/SOBBKSAVVaI/AAAAAAAABfU/a2s015_7dbY/s200/helen-keller-thumb.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5251268810401732002" />A possibility thinker must be able to imagine. I remember seeing 3 siblings who shared with me about their big dream. When I say big, I mean it is really big. The eldest brother told me about what they are going to achieve, how they are going to achieve it and the outcomes of the achievement.
Imagination, then, is the preview of your future. I was stunned. As young as they are, they already have a big dream even many young or working adults do not dare to dream about. I see the difference and sincerity in them and I truly believe that it will come true.
The ability to imagine is far more greater than anything else a human could possess. It gives a person a direction where he wants to go. The mobile phone you are using today, the portable laptop you are carrying today and the jumbo jet that is flying on air today are the results of people’s imagination.
Helen Keller, the first deafblind person who graduated from college, said this. “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision”. She did not have sight, as she was deafblind but she had a vision that led her to graduate from college.
Napoleon Hill said this - “He who has great imagination will conquer the world”. Bill Gates was once the richest man on earth because when he was still in University, he imagined that he’d put a user-friendly operating system - Windows - to every home computer. It came to pass.
Albert Einstein - “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. I personally think the reason why Einstein was said stupid when he was a young little boy because he had a great sense of imagination. He might not be thinking of what the teacher was teaching that time but something even greater that birthed in him. I don’t know, maybe it was.. E=mc²?
My fellow readers, let’s bring our imagination to the next level and they will come to pass.

Source: Being A Possibility Thinker - Imagination

Hang out with people with an abundance mentality

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mElV0tcMU4Q/SN81X1sxnlI/AAAAAAAABek/h3W63ETY06Q/s200/BeamCloudsX.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250974374205431378" />An abundance mentality tells you that there are always new chances and opportunities. This relieves much of the pressure you may feel if you have a scarcity mentality that makes you think that you only got this shot right now. Or makes you feel like an utter failure just because you just stumbled and things didn’t work out.
An abundance mentality allows you to see life in a more long-term perspective. And it can help you improve your performance since with it you’re creating a lot less pressure and anxieties within your own mind.
Tests in school can always be retaken. New dates can be arranged. There will be new business opportunities. Few things will actually be the end of the world even though an overly serious mindset may fool you into believing otherwise.
One challenge with developing and maintaining an abundance mentality is that much of society is built upon using a scarcity mentality to make you buy stuff. So advertising and parts of social programming tries to reinforce the scarcity mentality in people.
One couple of ways that I have found useful to handle that challenge is to cut down on your media consumption – reading less papers and watch less TV – and to use your new free time for things that reinforce your abundance mentality.
Examples of such things would be self-improvement blogs. And books, tapes and dvds on the same subject. Because there you can find information and people that come from a place of abundance. Or you can hang out with people with an abundance mentality in real life.
And I think it’s not the words that these people use that are of most use to you but rather the underlying feeling and frame of mind that is flowing from that person over to you.
Whatever flows into your mind will leave imprints, so be selective to be good to yourself.

Source: Lighten Up!

My million dollar idea

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mElV0tcMU4Q/SNYZ2aiWmPI/AAAAAAAABd0/3UV24jVu6oc/s320/DragonFly-Enjoy.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5248410838373931250" />...make a list of everything that you know and have some interest in. Making money really isn’t a hard task, but you shouldn’t be making money doing something you do not enjoy – that’s the worst way to make money!
You may want to spend the next couple of days sporadically thinking about this list and when inspiration comes, you can add to it. Once you’ve got your list, you want to order it, by placing the most fun thing that you are interested in at the top and the least fun thing at the bottom.
Take the top 3 items from your list and meditate on them. By this I mean find a quiet, comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed for at least 30 minutes, close your eyes and begin to quieten your mind. Let all thoughts just drift away without giving them your energy.
Then when you feel very relaxed and comfortable you can begin to think about those top 3 subjects. Think about how you can creatively use them to create money and begin to formulate ideas. These don’t have to be million dollar ideas, but just think about different ways in which you can monetize them.
Once 30 minutes has passed, say to yourself several times:
“I intend my million dollar idea to present itself to me”
And that’s it! Repeat the entire process (except for making a list) for the next 10 – 20 days and pay attention to what’s happening in your life. You shouldn’t be searching for a million dollar idea – your work is already done in the meditation, so just let the universal forces bring to you the “how”.

Source: Million Dollar Idea with the Law of Attraction

Questions Can Help You To Focus

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_mElV0tcMU4Q/SNDqbO0RYsI/AAAAAAAABcc/w8UtaYMJlRY/s200/picture-frame.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5246951319441334978" />The supreme kind of focus that is achieved by meditators and the highly successful (meditators are not necessarily highly successful, and vice-versa) only comes about through disciplined training and diligent daily practice.
But I’m not going to tell you to go through that kind of rigorous training to sharpen your focus until it becomes as a laser beam.
Most people do not have the time nor the stamina to take the torturous path braved by those few. Maybe you’re one of them, like me, maybe you’re not.
Don’t worry if you’re from the previous group. It’s not now, but not never either, just, perhaps another time for you.
But do we really need that kind of perfect and supreme concentration ability? To be able to only think one thought and let no other, not one inkling, come in? To focus so deeply and intently on one idea and be immune to distractions both inner and outer?
The answer is no. We don’t have to shave our heads bald and don robes to sharpen our mind.
There is a way for you to help yourself focus your mind and all your resources on achieving a certain objective when you really, really need to.
It is through questions.
That’s it. Just ask yourself questions about, relevant and pertaining to the thought, idea or thing you want to focus on. Only questions relevant to the object of your focus. Nothing that strays too far away from the theme or subject matter.
Questions are naturally thought focusers. That means, by their very nature, questions are designed to make your thoughts focus on what is being asked about.

Source: How Questions Can Help You Focus Also, try the Accelerated Wealth Attraction Mentoring Program for yourself.
