Spain is in mourning today after the sad news that one of its contemporary painters, Antoni Tapies, who was 88 years old, has died in Barcelona.

Professor of economy Fabián Estapé has died. Estapé, who was rector of the University of Barcelona and collaborator for 50 years of 'La Vanguardia' died on Wednesday in Leon, northern Spain.

It will be a sad day for Motorsport in Spain if two of the most watched sports are scrapped by Catalonia minister Andreu Mas-Colell. Apparently he is considering scrapping both F1 and Moto Gp from the Circuit de Catalunya as fees are too high.
