I travelled to local island "Hinavaaru"
which reachable by sea plane 1 hour.
"Maldivian Air taxi" is the only sea plane
we can use for travel..
Quite difficult to get a seat
as it's depends on arrival or departure "Kuredu Resort"

well..i can say this restaurant is one of our favorite as they have delicious thai meal...
highly recommend for those who likes thai foods and family style.
the portion is quite big, if u just two person most likely u couldn't finish all..

It's located "Amir Ahmed Magu, Male'"
the restaurant open for lunch (1200-1530hrs) and dinner (0700-1200)
and if you wish to have delivery is possible

They Have open air and air-con seating that you can choose on your convenience
i prefer to be outside as i could see the road from the top

These meal always be my favorite dishes either lunch or dinner
* Tom Yam Kung - prawn n hot and sour lemongrass soup
price small portion Mrf 98 / $8 (enough for 3-4 person)

Black Tip "baby" Reef Shark

There are few type of shark on our house reef, but these baby reef shark can see often swim on the shallow water..the size makes it so cute and you dont even think to be scared to with them

Habitat :

This species is commonly found in shallow waters on and near coral reefs and occasionally in brackish waters. Juveniles are typically found in extremely shallow water (±15 to 100 cm) inside lagoons, often swimming along the shoreline; adults typically occur on shallow parts of the forereef, often moving over the reef crest and onto the reef flat at flood tide.

Feeding :

The blacktip reef shark is a fast, pursuit predator that prefers reef fishes, but also feeds on stingrays, crabs, mantis shrimps and other crustaceans, cephalopods, and other mollusks. In the Maldives, this species has been documented feeding cooperatively on small schooling fishes, herding them against the shore and feeding en masse.

Jellyfish attack.....

The news came from our resort marine biologist ,
that our house reef get a quite high number jellyfish arrive.
It's very useful for us so i would like to share with you...
here it is...

Blue Button (Porpita porpita):

This open-ocean colony consists of a central disc-shaped float made up of numerous air chambers and blue or green tentacles that are used for feeding on microscopic organisms near the water surface. The species is harmless to humans as the stinging cells are unable to pierce the skin.

blue and look like small flowers (see below picture) and are harmless

how to prevent if we stung by them ???

- Do not use fresh water

to rinse it to avoids blisters and removing remaining tentacles with a towel.

- Use Vinegar

to neutralize of the venom.

The pain will normally disappears within 1 hour.

LIBAS Dhivehi ''traditional Maldivian Dress"

Sea House for heavy breakfast , why not????

This restaurant recommended by my best friend, she always said that they offers quality breakfast as nice as in resort with a lots of variety. Finally we planned take off together and going to that restaurant for our breakfast.
As we walk to the entrance, we welcomed by huge buffet breakfast and they have seating choice, outdoor and indoor. As that time quite windy we choose to stay inside. instead buffet we can have ala carte as well, but i suggest you to try the buffet because it has a lot of choice such as, Toast with jam and butter, Fruits, choice of curry (chicken and fish), Chapati (Traditional flat bread from India), Mashuni (smoked fish that is shredded and mixed with onions and grated), Cereals, Pancakes with Maple syrup and Egg station which you can order any type egg cooking methods, coffee and tea. As the restaurant located in second floor you able to see nice view Male' city from the top.

great news is all of that you only pay "MRF 65/ U$ 5 " per person, isn't that amazing!!!!
Great restaurant great service, great foods...if you are in Maldives dun forget to visit, you wouldn't be disappointed

This is the place where i work........
its beautiful isn't it?????
being in Maldives it is like visiting one of the heaven in earth..
Baros Maldives, located in North Male' Atoll, 30 minutes by speed boat ride from capital city Male' and 25 minutes from International Airport Male' Maldives. This resort is gorgeous , and i'm very proud to work here. Become small luxury hotel this hotel will give you the best service you will ever have. The island is very small , 5 minutes to take around the island and its all sand. From the top you can see clearly sharks, stingray, triggerfish, butterfly fish and many more, if you go for snorkeling you will see more definitely.
I have never see or know fishes before, since i work in this place i felt in love with this creatures.
