Mission

To help children, youth, families and individuals overcome the challenges of life in the inner-city.

Vision

The vision of Crossroads Youth Intervention is to bring restoration and wholeness to the community. Our goal is to bring recovery to broken relationships; whether broken lives, broken families, broken social and spiritual relationships, they all add up to a destabilized community.

Values

In principle one of our key priorities is to strive for a higher standard of integrity in all that we do. For success, it is imperative that we maintain a disciplined code of ethics in our personal and professional conduct. Integrity and Judeo - Christian ethics coupled with hard work, commitment, faithfulness, and perseverance form the basis of excellence. Therefore, when we serve our community we do it with a diligent effort and a commitment to make a measurable difference.

In 2008, Women of the Church of God conducted the Relevance survey to determine the needs of the women in the Church of God. The findings of this survey formed the foundation for the next phase of ministry. The name was officially changed to Christian Women Connection in the fall of 2009. The women in the Church of God have always been willing to adapt and form around the needs of the church. They helped meet the needs of missionaries, missions education in our churches and they helped support the ministries of the Church of God. The next steps in women’s ministry in the Church of God are possible because of the foundations laid by the insightful and Kingdom-focused women of the National Woman’s Home and Foreign Missionary Society, the Women’s Missionary Society, Women of the Church of God, and now Christian Women Connection.
