i dream i am touring India with friends. i am about to tweet how nice India is via my mobile phone when a very huge and scaly crocodile is in the pursuit to me. it doesn't attack any person on the way. it doesn't attack me either. the big thing come to me i think it is gonna eat me, and i am surprisingly unafraid....

REALITY: then i wake up from the sound of my fathers car horn!

i go back to sleep and the dream continues.

i am still traveling but no longer in India but elsewhere i don't recognize. i am with my friends and this supposed [my] family whose faces i do not recognize in the real world. in the dream, my family are a family of witches.

i am preparing my things for our departure possibly back home, and later my [male] witch cousin [or uncle] come to carry my things via his magic to the bus where the rest of my friends and family are waiting. inside the bus my friends are taking weed. i was gonna take the weed but there is a change in scenario.

this time i in a cemetry with my family performing a ritual of sort i think was going to instill fear to few people coming our way. and the spell was a success only to realize that our target isn't afraid and she already knew who and what we are. she cusses us, and one of my [aunts] is scared to death of the cursing that she bleeds her toes to the surface of the glass wall. her toes don't look like toes but fingers [bleeding fingerlike-toes]. at the sight of a bag given by the cussing woman, my [aunt] opens it.....

REALITY: and i wake up from the dream at the sound of my father's voice!

what a bummer! i say to my self.

my dreams are so vivid and exciting i don't wanna wake up anymore from these chances of an adventurous undertaking.

i was obsess with my name. i thought i had the most unique name because there is nobody in the world or at least in the Phil that i know of with my name. but right now i feel like i am no longer identifying with the name. the name's associated with my past i wanna forego, and maybe by assuming another name means new life, new identity, new aspiration, and whatnot. besides, i am still Christine. i love my second name better than the first anyway. the first name only reminds me of the nursery rhyme Jack and Jill. together, they only remind me of pain, loss, hate, and that 'bang and the clatter' as in the song Faraway (So Close) by U2. Christine, on the other hand, reminds me of the angel with white wings and Rahl is the hero. i wanna be the hero not just in my fantasy story but in my physical world as well. it's not that i'm regressing to my childhood fantasies, i'm just a looking at things the way i want to look at them---that is in a more creative way. besides, i still dream of being a fiction writer and be able to have my book published someday. so, judge me all you want, analyze my behavior, read my mind. the hell do i care! don't forget i'm a psychology major my self. i know exactly why i am the way i am. so please, back off and call me Rahl.

self inquiry 101, motorcycle accidents and whatnot

There’s been a motorcycle accident in Pardo. A man is lying uncounscious with a helmet still on, his back on the ground and a woman is bleeding on the forehead. My mom freaked out but i feel nothing, Not that my reaction matters or that i am expected to respond the same way. I know nothing of them in the first place. But the thing is, they could be anyone i know, care about and love. A little sympathy ain’t that big a thing not to be given but there’s just nothing here. Am i becoming numb or indifferent each passing day? I hope not.

Then while still inside the jeepney and alraedy in Lipata, Minglanilla, there was an ambulance accelerating in the other side of the highway, siren buzzing and echoing through the hollow of the night. There must have been another accident, and it wasn't even long minutes passed when we saw it. Two motorcycle lie engine-dead on the ground on opposing directions horizontal the centerline.

Accidents.

People and injuries.

Possibly death.

And I didn't care..

Procastination has its disadvantages, yes, but so are advantages and now I'm enjoying them--heightened awareness, eustress, unrestrained, firm and quick thinking, oodles of ideas that never come when work is exercised long days/weeks ahead the deadline, fast typing skill, spontaneity, creativity and so on--hehe... i love this part of being a student! hehe

"The Hanging Tree" is a song mentioned in Suzanne Collins' 'Mockingjay' book 3 of The Hunger Games trilogy. Katniss sings it to an Avox in the Capitol in one of their 'We remember District 13' propo campaigns with Gale in Chapter 9.

The song is mentioned the second time in Chapter 15 where Haymitch tells Katniss that the captured and the tortured Peeta recognizes the song when he hears the propo where Katniss was singing the song, and he remembers ever hearing her father sing the song in the bakery where his parents work.

For the third time, it is mentioned in chapter 21 where Katniss upon the thought of the tortured Peeta reminds her of the last stanza of the song where "The one where the man wants his lover dead rather than have her face the evil that awaits her in the world." (Katniss).

Here are several versions of the song. I hope you like any of them because I actually like all of them. There's a version that is gloomy while there are versions that are lively and less dismal.

“Without success,” I add.

“Without success. So, in a way, my name being drawn in the reaping was a real piece of luck,” says Peeta.

One of the best book series I read is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. With the upcoming The Hunger Games movie starred by Jennifer Lawrence as the heroine Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark; people from the Mockingjay.net start singing the songs written by the author herself. Among these songs are Rue's lullaby and The Hanging Tree, Katniss Everdeen's father's song.

I love God above all things, but the only difference is that I don't believe that God took human form or that God ever walked the earth like Jesus did or Allah or Buddha.

God for me is not a he or a she or an it. God is energy, void, emptiness, space, nothing, awareness, omnipotence, omnipresence, onmifarious, omniscience, boundless, limitless, love....

God is the creator and source of all things. God is everything.

God is an entity both separate and one with us all.

Jaime Campbell Bower is playing Jace Wayland in the TMI movie!

Jaime Campbell Bower is officially playing the Jace Wayland role in The Mortal Instruments movie. I am half disappointed because I want Alex Pettyfer, but the actor turned the role down for 3 other projects which everyone can see in his IMDB.

Anyway, both Cassandra Clare (Author of TMI and Clockwork Angel) and Lilly Collins (who will play as Clary Fray) agreed that Bower is perfect for the role, which I am to see yet.

‘Mortal Instruments’ actress Lily Collins communicates with fans through verified Twitter and Facebook can read : “So excited we finally found Jace! It’s been a long search but definitely worth the wait. Jamie is perfect for the role! Just wait and see…”

And MTV’s Hollywood Crush also report author Cassandra Clare watching Jamie Campbell Bower’s audition tape. Clint Culpepper told her that Collins had written him saying that, “It’s Jamie. It’s gotta be Jamie.”
Collins also wrote, “To all Shadowhunters who don’t see Jamie as your Jace yet, use the sight and look beyond! She links to Cassandra Clare’s blog announcement of Bower being cast as Jace Wayland.

Jamie Campbell Bower is a good actor but he ain't Alex Pettyfer. But If I really love The Mortal Instruments books, I have to support the movie as well. I have to learn to like Bowers...I have to trust him! the fact that he's been chosen for the Jace Wayland role after my ♥ Alex turned it down, he must be something.

strawberry taho. only in Baguio.

A taho is a Philippuine food made from fresh silken tofu, arnibal (brown sugar and vanilla syrup), and pearl sago. Instead of the arnibal, this time strawberry was used.

My stay in Baguio was awesome. If there is a place I wanna live in, It's gonna be in Baguio. I love the climate and the the beautiful, unpolluted city. I would definitely stay in Baguio when I will start writing my first book soon.

i need time alone. time to think. time to search for my self. with that i need to withdraw from everyone and everything--including school, work, friends, social networks, books, movies--which is something i cannot do. there are so many things i have to accomplish, but none of them i desire doing as of the moment. i want to do nothing at all and be nothing for ones in my life, but that would kill me to death, wouldn't it? i am so confused. T_T

i wanna flea somewhere else safe--some place i can be my self and be with my self. i wanna run away, be in a fugue-like state where nothing in the past matters anymore. i wanna reach the gap between local awareness, and find my self peace. as long as i am still cuddled with chaos, anger, fear, distress, and worry, i will always see the world in blur through the lens of tears on my eyes.

with inner cleansing, i could cleanse the world. technology and everything material are things that block me. anyone sweep down on me and take me to a far, far away place. take me. please. i beg you to take me.

to another dimension, to find peace...

Palm reading. Is there ever truth in palm reading? Someone read my future for me and it wasn't nice. It felt like I'm in this hellhole all along. I felt the grim, and I know she did too. The way she read it gave an eerie feeling, as if she really was aided by a higher consciousness, a gap in nature. A non-local awareness as I see it. But is there really truth in palm reading?

The way she said the words staked my heart. She reminded me again of my worries, of my confusion, of my emptiness. Maybe she was right or maybe she was just reading my subconscious. Maybe It's what I want or not. It's what I chose it to be.

We all make our own destinies and I make mine. Only that mine's on the grey side. Confused. I feel so alone.

Anyway, I finished the book "Nevermore " by Kelly Creagh. The book was amazing, though it ended tragically. I am waiting for the second book entitled "Enshadowed" . I am sure Isobel and Varen will be together again.

That's about 20 books. I am not so proud with the number considering that I could have read more books than this. I am in fact capable of reading five to seven books in a week. Anyway, the problem is I am currently doing my research, which is consuming much of my time lately, which means no fiction or less fiction this month until I'm over it. But even research hinders me not from allowing temptation in. Right! that's why I am currently reading Alexandra Adornetto's Halo, book one of the Halo series.

So, their's Paolo, a very good friend of mine who opened me to things that has kept me occupied in the past few years of my life. I like Paolo the way he is. We have something in common than most of the people I know.

Well, I can make an exception,. There's also my brother/boy best friend named Walter. We have same interests. He is emotionally unstable in a way like I am. I am not talking about insanity. I am talking about how sensitive we are that sometimes if not most of the time, brings us down on our knees and brings us up standing again. We both cope differently though. I know it's not about who survived but on how one survived. The means we survive. We like the same music genre. We talk about things I normally don't talk with others, like sex, and so on.

Paolo, on the other hand, I can talk about spirituality and religion with. I enjoyed his weirdness or more like a one-in-a-million personality. I am also weird in a way.

Their's also Maui, who used to be my love interest in high school. No one got me unbalanced like he did. But that was a long time ago. He's more of a close friend to me now and he ever was. Sometimes I tell him my problems, and he tells me his. It feels good to have someone like that.

Above all, none of them I have special/romantic feelings for. I am glad.

Good morning. I will start my day happy and end it happy. Today I am at the library waiting for my students. They are late again. I don't wanna flare up ever. So, I'm just gonna chill. If they don't come, they miss half of their lives that they could have experienced with me. Aside from that, they would miss seeing me stunning with my new outfit, which I will be posting later. Another is, they are gonna miss my in depth discussion on the topic that I am about to discuss.
