It's so hard to work

I have no fear or stress when facing lots of works to accomplish daily.

I will only have serious bad mood when the darn laptop that is not performing well! I have so many issue on these! Look like I need to address to the management and wake up their idea. No one can work with a slow and old version laptop; be it hardware or software.

Thy shan't not keep quiet, unless management does not want to take action.

I only hope to get my own laptop and have the latest software/ hardware spec. At least I can work in peace. =P

Dragon Year - A Good Start?

Hope everyone will have a good start this year; the year of dragon.

For those who did not know, Year of Dragon will be counted when it is the day of Li Chun; usually after Chu Jiu (Lunar Day - 9th Day)

So, still counted as rabbit year, I did have some cash going out suddenly.

I have have my camera lenses sent out for servicing because of Error 01 code. As told by the CSO today, it is usually a wear and tear problem. Had been using for years since I last bought it.

At the same time, I had my camera body clean up and upgrading of firmware.

Total damage: $226.

Next: my Seiko watch, which my wife bought it for me; the name of the Seiko wording drop and hang there! Luckily there's warranty, I really hope that there's no charges for this. I might need to wait up till a month for this case!

Next, my LCD TV seem to have problem turning on... it will not start up until few mins later... or kept on going back to standby mode....

Last but not least, my car leather seat... all cracking and torn!

Let's hope it all end here! Hoping this are the cause by the year of rabbit!

Finding out the reason why can be interesting if the information is there. But when it is not, kinda finding a needle in the sea.

Where's the help when I need? It seem like throwing one corner and ask you to survive throughout. It is no wonder, people come and go.

Typically, I can handle things well.. but right now, due to heavy load on my back, it seem like it is nearly impossible for that to happen. Prepare to get whack for not finding out anytime soon. I am glad I know how everything goes, but I really hope it is not too late.

I still have to recheck if possible. But, I really hope that someone can be there to help me through.

As I neglect the other side and concentrate here, it is going to be very unhealthy.

In short, I am just worried for the lack of stuff that should found out earlier.

This is the first time ever I feel so tense over this Chinese New Year. Sigh... Please... I hope to see some light...

Although our helper decided to return to her hometown, things does not change at all. Luckily kids are well taken care by my parents and my wife, including me. The only burden will be: laundry and household chores.

I find that I clean the floor cleaner than her tho. Touched onto the floor, the feeling is so much different from the past. It is pretty dry and very clean. I am so happy for myself.

But this will means that I have lesser time in front of the computer because of housework. If I have to work on it, the time will be about midnight after the floor is clean.

Definitely, all of us will feel tired and shag; but this also bring some family bonding; exercising as well. I am certain that I will reduce some weights as time goes. But I have to take good care of my lower back as it get tense and tiring very soon.

No matter what, I hope to do my own things whenever there's time for me.

There are couples of problem that I have to solve it, but I hope to gain some advise to remedy it.

Management fail big time

Let's not talk about first or third world class transport issue, because when come to electronics and such, there's bound to have failure; depending on when it will happen.

But, with the recent saga on SMRT, I guessed that they will have more problems after problems to resolve the current issue.

My wife happened to be one of the commuters who had been squeezed in between the commuters at Dhoby Ghaut while trying to hop on the Circle Line.

So, I was wondering this...

When they knew that there's bound to have problem and cannot be resolved within few minutes, shouldn't they page the system to the rest of the commuters to switch another transportation? e.g. NEL or Buses.

While some had already tapped in and join in the sandwich, you have no other way to escape except waiting and waiting. My wife was so pissed that the announcement had been paged over and over again with the same duration... 10min... 5min... 10min.. 2min...

So, when the train arrive; door was opened and everyone went in quickly as if there's free things in there. There, it is another sandwich session again. If the train going to have emergency stop, I believed that no one will fall down at all! Yes, they were standing touching skin to skin with lots of body contact. But, surprisingly the door did not close until few minutes later?

As for the MRT that happened few days ago, I was totally disappointed about the way they managed. How can they allow people to be trapped in the train for 40min? What happened if someone died due to lack of oxygen? Just look at what they did to the glass window, breaking it to let air comes in. This is such a let down!

The driver should be trained to deal with this situation even if it might happened once in a 50 years!

And today, yet another break down? What is causing it?

Ok, I have my say about this current wonderful management. They going to work till their ass off to get bottom of this issue.

I am very happy getting myself and my wife a X'mas present from Amazon!

I had it purchased few days ago via Amazon, had it send to ComGateWay and took 4 days to reach my doorstep (yesterday night)! The total cost: nearly $200.

Simply love ComGateWay because it allow free upgrade to express shipping with discount if using DBS Credit Card. I also been tracking since day one when it had been shipped out.

Since I like to read, and my wife really love it, I decided to get it for both of us. End up, I have no further regret because it very useful! Light, small and less tiring on eyes.

I was so happy when I received the packages from DHL deliveryman. Jumping up with joy, I almost behave like a kid while opening it up.

My lovely red cover for Kindle Touch, I have no regrets getting this. Light, inexpensive and beautiful!

How the Kindle is stored. Funny, I thought the initial look on it contain a piece of transparent paper. I tried taking it out if I can. But, it is a screen saver! Look so unreal!

The beautiful Belkin clip on light that I bought. Something to read without irritate the person beside you.

So far, I am getting used to it. Buying the eBooks is pretty easy, just go to Basket Store and buy now! It will purchase it and load to your Kindle. If you bought from it wrongly, click on cancel and wait for the refund!

That's how it is! Simple?

I have not go out and take photos for a long time, hence the missing 2 weekend a photo.
Maybe, I should not stick to weekend only... It should be A Week A Photo... =)

Work is getting heavier, but feel self satisfy too. At least something useful that I am doing now, but heavy responsibilities too.

I must try to accomplish what I wanted to do.

Now, I must put up some plan; here goes...

Reformat my computer first, because I have unknown huge capacities of storage in C drive! I wanted to install the programs to D:/ instead.

Buying new sport shoe! For work and also, mild running and brisk walk.

Get my production start up after the formatting of computer first. It does not matter how long I take.

Finish my San Guo DVDs! And, my Single Mode Play on Batman and BF3!

Bring my kids out almost every weekend - be it anywhere! Something that they can explore more!

Do more exercise for my own good and maintain good diet food intake too.

The above... wow.. a lot to accomplish, huh.
Some can be done soon, but I must be discipline too.

I believe I can do it... so can you too!

Stay tuned for my completion of these tasks!!! I must make a regular updates.

Birthday gift for myself

I cannot deny anymore, I really want a new monitor speaker for a long time.

Look like my wishes came true because my right studio monitor is going to raise white flag! The volume went down ridiculously low, even how much I pumped up the volume and push up the gain knob.

Hence, I am hoping for a nice monitor - Adams A5X. But that will be too costly, even it I can get the staff discount from my company! Our sister company is one of the main distributor for Adams - the wonderful monitor speaker.

But, I had to plan properly. Get a small one and budget type, so that I will not bleed like in the past. Hence, KRK Rokit 5! I am not a professional user; too high end will be overkill.

I went down for testing in Sinamex - the boss was very patient with me because of requesting different genre of music. I end up chose 1 level up because I am using that as pleasure listening as well.

Good bye to my old monitor speaker that serve me well for the past 5 years.

Right monitor seem to die off as the volume is too low.

On my Birthday, I got myself a new pair of studio monitor. A Brand that I thought I will not get in the past due to bad experience.

Now, I decided to give a go since it is pretty good and known to most people. Best yet, affordable and superb sounding.

I love the use of the photography filter from iPhone.
It seem like I can almost forgo the use from my camera!

But, I just constantly tell myself that the megapixels and quality are a huge differ.

On my LX3 or 5D2, I am allow to use and mess around with the RAW images, but from iPhone; I love instagram and hipstamatic.

I began to miss going out in wee hours for photo shoot; sunrise or sunset, doing street shoot and so on.

My new added stuff!
Head unit upgraded to 4350.

Having this DVD HU is great, I can put in the education show for my kids to watch in car while traveling. They have no choice but to sit still and watch it throughout. It is pretty hard to get them down and watch at home, especially to my elder daughter.

Thus, I decided to get the headrest monitor as well. This is to prevent Cait from twisting her body to the side and watch the show in front.

This is so much like Inflight Entertainment, huh!

New inventory for my car - head rest monitor for kids to enjoy.

Having said, I decided to add an amp and woofer too. I, a person who enjoyed music so much, finally decided to add in the woofer with the original amp.

No, there's no need for you to get into brand like Focal, Audison and such.. unless you are pretty loaded, of course.

For me, it is just a basic things to enjoy the music. When you want to get into serious on music, you can consider much higher end, but remember that you have to do sound proof too.

I will, rather put the money for a good cause. At least putting it for charity or for home audiophile. =)

This is a never ending story, do not get yourself poisoned.

The main reason is because of group chat up to 20 friends, whereas whatsapp, is only 10 people max. Importantly and bonuses, funny and nice emoticons.

I have a new toy, something that I had been holding it back for a long time. Finally, I decided to get it and I really have no regret at all.

The toy had been up since last Sunday, and I shall reveal it later on with some photo. Let's remain mystery now.

It had been a long time since I rant and talk about my thoughts.

Ranting
Life goes on, no matter how tough it is, but I do feel that a person must get the picture clear first before starting to feel piss off and make it as if I am at fault. C'mom.. we are all working adults, do not assume we ain't doing nothing at all. When people are busy and working hard, you do not see it at all.

Injury
Oh dear, I had just injured myself yesterday when walking along the carpark after picking up my daughter. This injury, which I had it before, was 12 years ago - twisted ankle.

I have no idea how it happened, it just goes like that! I can even feel bones seem to fall apart when I twisted my ankle. The pain was terrible, but I am still able to walk tho; but slowly.

Decided to get myself a day of MC today, but due to work required, I started to head back to work till 2pm before seeing the doc and get it tui na.
I was awarded 2 days MC from the western doctor; pain wasn't there after a while, but I still go ahead to Chien Tow, Jurong East.

I have never cried in pain before, but this time round, it proves me wrong totally.

Although I do not feel much pain already, when the masseur pressed on the certain points that really hurts, I cried in pain... tried enduring throughout the session but it is unbearable. At least it proven that I did injured it seriously. Now, having my ankle bandaged, I felt relieved totally.

Remember, you will suffer if you decided not to get it done. Such money is not meant to keep; health is.
