or has anyone else felt that time is going faster. I know that as a person ages they feel time go faster but I have asked around and almost everyone I have asked has thought time is going ridiculously fast. I don’t know, I may be wrong and millions of people would probably think this guys an idiot because time always runs the same all the time and it is impossible for it to go faster. I just find it unusual and just wondering if anyone is feeling the same way.

This also brings me to another point while we are on the topic of time. I just think a lot of time has been wasted in so many people’s lives (including mine.) I just sit there and think to myself, maybe it’s time stuff needs to get done. Not like cleaning out that garage or doing some laundry but actually doing something. Perhaps like the thing you have been scared to do for a while now. But hey, maybe this post was more of a self examination than anything. My point is to do something that matters, because times not going any slower.

Allow me to elaborate on the title. Let’s say you and your friends are talking about the latest movie that is out. All of your friends have seen it and your the only one that hasn’t seen it yet. You know have two choices.

1) You can tell your friends that you haven’t seen the movie yet and that you want to go see it later

2) Tell your friends that you have seen the the movie and that it was awesome!

Now let’s think for a moment, what would be the logical choice? Number one would not enable you to talk about the movie with your friends, but number two will! So you pick number two and tell your friends that you have seen the movie and it was awesome but it turns out that all of your friends actually thought it was horrible and ask you why you thought the movie was awesome. What are you going to respond to then? How are you going to answer that? All you are going to do to is make yourself seem like a complete dumb ass in front of people. So then I ask you, what would be the logical choice?

If you’re going to talk about something, know what you are talking about first. Avoid looking like a complete ass in front of people. If people are talking about something you don’t know then who cares! If they ask your opinion on the topic then just say you don’t know anything about it. They would probably just say “Oh okay thats cool” and move on. It’s not like you have to lie and say yes just to seem like you know. What if they ask your opinion? Then you’re screwed! So just remember “Unless you’re a dog, don’t bark” or you’re just going to look retarded. Talk to you later guys.

Scooter the Chicken

Hey guys, I’m sorry Eric or I haven’t written in so long. We’ve been pretty busy. Sorry again guys. Today I’m going to tell you guys a short story about a chicken who’s name was Scooter. Scooter was a fantastic being. Well he was more like a fantastic chicken. His feathers were made of gold of gold and fiber glass. His beak was composed of pure plastic and his feet were like regular chicken feet. Scooter the Chicken was a good chicken and although he was a tad too violent he protected innocent people such as Ronald Reagen, Nancy Reagen, most of the Reagen family, that one guy from Seinfeld, and various other slightly famous people. (Except Hilary Clinton) He fought flying Asians and big juicy teryaki monkey balls. One day Scooter the Chicken hid in a little boys mailbox to protect him from evil demons and Hilary Clinton. That night as Scooter was in the Mailbox doing his taxes a hobo came and snatched him. This hobo had acquired a jar of cricket magic the other day by fighting the knights of cricklandia. The hobo knew that Scooters only weakness was cricket magic. Scooter violently fought the hobo but countless years of fighting cricket knights had made the hobo strong and Scooter knew that his end had come. Scooters last request was that there would be a picture of him so that the boy would remember him. The hobo honored his wish and took the picture and with his last breath Scooter the Chicken died. Scooter did not die in vain and did not want anybody to be sad because of his death. Scooter will remain in my heart forever I hope he will remain in yours too.

You’re Getting Ripped Off!!

Hey this is Matt McEachern and I am guest hosting on Alex and Eric’s blog.

PEOPLE!!! Wake up! Don’t you realize what the Apple Corporation is doing to you? If you want an Ipod, what do you do? You ask your parents (many of you rich kids getting it), and if they don’t give you the money you have to save up for it (some people actually have to work for things). Once you get enough money, you buy the Ipod only to find that they come out with a new Ipod the next week or month! If these new Ipods were different at all that would be okay, but they have one or two very minor changes but those changes are enough to make people consider your Ipod “out of date.” I personally have a second generation Ipod and it works fine, but many of my friends call it a “brick.” I couldn’t care less but many people do. If your Ipod plays songs and works, WHO CARES!! You don’t need the new 60 gig Ipod that is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to fill up completely. Not only do they rip you off, they know that you are going to try to get the new ones and what does that turn into, AN ENDLESS CYCLE!! Don’t you realize what is going on? We all want what we cannot have or at least something better. Why can’t people just be satisfied with what they have so that the rest of us don’t have to listen to those who complain when things aren’t handed to them. If you don’t get something, GET OVER IT!!! You can do what the rest of us do, WORK for it!

Stress and Emo are two different things?

What Alex wrote was amazing, but I do disagree that stress can cause kids to turn Emo. I believe some people are Emo not through stress but mostly depression, some of them were traumatize or even hurt by others since most of them can’t turn to anyone for help, they did the next best thing hurting themselves because they think they aren’t good enough. Instead of disliking them we should try to help them, If they enjoy being Emo bless their soul. Although stress can cause pressure, and that leads to depression. Just remember to help those who needs help. This is Eric hoping you have a wonderful day.

Stress…It’s your Choice

The other day as I was walking to class, I saw Eric laying on the grass. I was wondering why he was doing that seeing as how the grass had just been watered, but that’s not the point. All of a sudden, I see an acorn (I’m pretty sure it was an acorn) fall on his head. I was wondering what he was thinking of and I remembered last year, how Eric used to talk about a kid who sat next to him in one of his classes. He said this kid would dress in the weirdest way and all he ever had on his mind was death. I’ve always wondered why these kids would think in those sort of ways, why they become angry and socially inept or the even bigger question, why they become Emo. I believe I came to a pretty reasonable conclusion. I think it’s because those kids are STUPID and IDIOTIC. They have nothing better to do in their lives than to think about death, hate and anger. Sure, some people may say it’s stress and that they have too much to do. Well thats one of the most retarded arguments I have ever heard! I am a very stressful person. I become so stressed over the dumbest things, but what I DON’T do is let that stress turn into hate or anger that slowly builds up over time until one day I go crazy and kill myself or blow up the school. It may be harder for some people to manage stress in their lives, but it’s YOUR CHOICE to take that stress and turn it into something negative. This is what I don’t understand about Emo kids. Most of them have completely normal lives with family’s that love them, yet they are the one’s that go around cutting themselves and being depressed because they think their lives are horrible. What I’ve noticed is that the majority of the people who lead the horrible and crappy lives are the people that learn to appreciate the good and beautiful in the world. Stress is something that we as humans need, but when we take it too far it can ruin our lives. This is Alex Barbarian, hoping you see the good in the world.

Stress……can lead to death!

I was laying on the grass waiting for class to start, when something hit me. It turns out it was an acorn (I think it was an acorn.) All of a sudden I had this flashback, I remembered this kid my freshman year, he always looked like he was dead. I don’t usually make fun of peoples appearance, but this kid just took the cake. He would dress in the strangest way and his pupils were shaped like a tigers eye. He would wear this appalling shirt, and all he could think of was death. I decided to talk to him one day and all he would talk about was that abortions should be more dreadful, after the conversation, I just went to class. Well after my amazing flashback, I thought to myself why are people become mad? Or the bigger question, why do some people become Emo? I don’t understand why some people want to shun the world and be alone? I lay there on the grass trying to think of an answer to these questions, and the answer I came up with is STRESS. I think to cure stress, we just have to enjoy life although it is easier said than done, but its possible and being alone is never a good thing, NO ONE LIKES BEING ALONE and thats a fact. Sure you want some alone time to think, but thats different. Don’t let these little things bring you down, for example lets say you got a 90% on your honors calculus test and started crying and having an emotional breakdown because you were 10% away from a perfect test. Stress is a hard thing to deal with but it’s nothing to go crazy over. Although being Emo does not always derive from stress, it can be a huge contributing factor. In the end stay happy, this is Eric hoping you have a wonderful day.

The bell rang, it was time to go home. When I got out of class I decided to go to my English teacher for some missing work. As I was going to my classroom, I saw my friend Erica just standing there alone and depressed, I asked her what happened and she told me she was mad at the fact she sees every other students kissing and hugging. I figured out she was depressed because she didn’t have a boyfriend. Well I don’t know much about love, but I think its nice to have a relationship, although if your single you can’t let these little things bother you. Sooner or later when the right time comes you will a chance to shine (well i don’t know if I’m the right guy to say that, but I’m trying to stay positive.)
