With the cricket fever in the air,

The world in turmoil...

Trying to arrange their lives around the match timings,

It’s the age old tiff between the sexes...

The men glued to their televisions and the women feeling,

That they are ones holding on to the reigns...

I just had an image - what if aliens were conducting a study on the life on earth...

And they happened to do it at the time that the world cup was on...

They would actually feel that the human race was controlled by the television.

As the image in the television swings the bat and the human in the chair would scream and jump!

Well somehow cricket does make the world go round and round and round …

Fire Flies and the Rainbows

From boats... to a swim....

Its a hot summer night and you go for a swim... the feel of the vast water as you lower down into the shimmering water... as it engulfs you, the coolness against your hot skin...

the feel of serenity

A gasp of breath... and you lower your head into the tranquil water... your troubles seepng away... as if the tranquility of the water tries to calm you down.

One single lonely lamp, near the water edge in its solitude...

but look carefully.... its not alone... a number of fire flies all buzzing around the lamp... becoming a part of its aura....

Staying in water for long....... and then the lamp looks even more different... the aura looks different the lonely lamp has developed colours.... the lamp has a halo of a rainbow... all the colours a ring around the white light...

As the troubles fade away.... so does the lamp change....

LOLS There’s a parody in this statement itself and how we read it we could say our life is rocking!!! Or they rock it with all the problems...

But I do wonder where is the destination...
Our soul gives it directions, but where is it leading us?

The journey through life is sometimes so fluid and flexible that you feel that delicious feeling all through and sometimes just as crumbly and hard.

Well and most of the times you get both the things together the hard and the soft...

Yummy!

Just like eating a cream tart.

You lick the cream, and bite into the hard crust...

Most people live through grumbling, 'I can’t even enjoy the good part cause the troubles are right at the back of my mind.' Well it’s all in the brain!

You do enjoy the tart when you bite in and get both the crust and the creams together, don’t you?

Just imagine, if you lick only the cream off... you would feel the really bloated full feeling like Oh God! No more please!

That’s what it’s with experiences and events of life too.

I just remembered a saying from childhood, 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.' Isn’t it true that all play and no work will also make Jack a dull boy?

Its always combination of things which makes something Fabulous.

So why do we expect that life should be full of only good things? It’s this very expectation that stops people from enjoying the experiences that life puts before them.

Just in the search for the absolute perfect picture... which even they don’t know what it is, they just flit through life thinking, 'we didn’t get the best, we were unlucky!'

Lucky... is how you see things...

Well who is lucky, a child of a beggar rolling in mud, Giggling... Or, a child in a mall screaming at the top of the lungs cause he wants some silly toy, which his mother thinks he has many of lying at home?

If you can train to smile in pain, that’s Lucky!!!

That’s what makes you appreciate the good parts of life...

P.S. Lets not forget the cherry on top, The people around us who give us support and strength and reason for all this.

Ha!!! Some days really do top the list...
I got up today and thought I don’t feel too good ...

I went on the net... thinking this might help put my mind off ... But some feelings are just there to stay...

Looked at the watch and saw that time had just raced, playing it's game again! and it was 10:00 am. My office time is 9:30am but I usually end up reaching at 10... Have never been able to control it, however hard I might try.

But, I was still in my night suit and it was 10!!!
The electricity in my house has been acting strange lately... so-called office and said wont come today as am having electricity trouble... The manager of my office started fuming as our Boss is leaving for a holiday in two days and he told me to come to office even if I come late... Well in a horrible mood! I got ready and reached half an hour before lunchtime.

Reached office and saw our Boss sitting in the centre.... leaning back in his chair with most of the staff around him and everyone chattering away to glory... Gossiping!!!
Now it was my turn to fume... Drove 1 and a half hours for this...

But then there’s this cosmos, which works its game, and I guess God needs some comedy too...

Came back after lunch and switched on my computer... And what do I see Couldn't stop my laughter... The screen was blank, a dark void with nothing but a line of text... cant find boot drive, specify drive to boot form and the silly cursor in the end blinking... Smirking!

How funny can life be? Well I smirked along with the cursor and called my manager to inform him.

He frowned and I smirked... I have Sixth Sense I smirked and said to him. He had no words to express.

I roamed around the whole office. Chatting up a conversation with everyone and am now sitting typing here... while he comes to tell me… You can leave early if you feel like...

Laughter gurgling in my stomach... and I say it's okay I will leave in 2 hrs finish my time in office... with a big smile on my face...

I love it when God plays these jokes... Well isn’t it a Shakespearean comedy... Lols, such undertones of tragedy.

We live in our cosy homes, engrossed in our little homely problems, comparing with other people, making ourselves more miserable and feeling we have many problems.

We are so busy in our turmoil of our brain, we flit through our daily business, only thing we see is who's and what’s better than us and feel more miserable.

IF only we stopped and looked...
the people whom we are jealous of might be the ones who envied us!!!

But we don't Look...
We see the Beggar whom we pass daily but we don't look at him.

What do we decipher when we say lovelife... ;)

Ha Ha Ha.... I know you will all say what a stupid questions and sooo out of context...

Does that make some reality seep in... We are so busy in our lives we forget to look around... Its jarring to see what lovelife could mean to a group of youngsters and what to another set... The site trying to tell them to Love Their Lives. Its also a Parody how one known act of love could create so much damage.

Its strange how time is such a funny thing, sometimes its just too short and just not enough and sometimes so long it just doesn't move.
I sometimes wonder how good is the technology we have existing to measure time? :) ...

Well Doesn't seem consistent most of the time. It just makes me think.. maybe our mind really is the most supreme of all. It can stall time when it feels and rush it up just the same. Or Maybe the time has a brain of it own and likes to play tricks with us... hurrying up when we want it to slow and slowing down and last forever when wish it was over... LOL...

The first few lines of my very first blog as I type... a bird chirps right outside my window...

When no path seems the right one to take, and all the decisions make a mess in your brain... the scorching heat, the sweat, does nothing to help you.

AND THEN, there's sudden rain, when it is neither a season nor the indication of one. You feel so excited, you rush to your window reach your hand out and feel the drops on your palm.... the glee of it all making you forget about all the mess, all the decisions, all that we usually feel is the most important in life.

THIS IS AS LIFE GOES...

P.S. - A nature's way of showing love... and you loose all scope of time... as its not clear what's it really, that makes our life up...
