Okay, so your probably thinking how in the heck do Skinks and patience go together? well your gonna find out.

I was playing with the camera outside to have a little fun. I was walking on the sidewalk to go to the roses and I saw this:

At first, I thought it was a snake but I saw the blue so I sat down waiting patiently we ALL know that I lack in that category, but I was determined to get a picture of that WHOLE skink because I was fascinated by its tail!

As I was sitting there it came out a little more:

Then some more (At this point I was so excited I almost peed my pants!):

Then It was ALMOST all the way out:

And finally it came out I almost screamed and then I remembered that I would scare it so I didn't.

Mission Trip: Dominican Republic

God has presented me with the opportunity to go on a mission trip in a few short weeks. April 2nd I will be boarding a bus to Miami, FL, from there we will be getting on a plane and be on our way to the Dominican Republic.
We will be building 2 or 3 churches and hosting a VBS (Vacation Bible School) for the young children. This is going to take a lot of strength and courage. It will be everyone getting along and coming along side each other to let this happen. To put our differences aside and to trust God with what He is going to show us.
As you can imagine this is something that needs a lot of financial support and prayer support. Without prayer little to noting could happen. God's hands are all in this and I can feel Him moving. During the week we will be helping people materially and spiritually. On April 9th we will be on our way back from hopefully making an impact on the people's life's.

God, this is my new years resolution to make all things new for You. To fall completely in love with You, and not let my past drag me down like it has been here lately. God, you can make all things new, and i think it's time to finally let go, forgive and forget. I can't do it alone so, I'm asking You to be with me. My journey through this life hasn't been that fantastic. Until, You put me in my family and I can't thank You enough for the joy You've put in my life these past 2 years.

I hold on to the past too much, and I know that it's just so hard to let go. My past HAS been redeemed and forever I AM free. Sometimes I feel like I'm on the right track and then I get off of it, and it's so hard to get back on. I've been off and I haven't got back on, I know I need and I'm trying so hard.

God, I lay everything down at Your cross, You can take all my problems and lift the burden off my shoulders. There are so many Godly people in my life that I know I can talk to, but it's so hard to get it out. I need to learn to open my heart.

I'm letting you make all things new, and I'm not holding back, It's time to be on fire.

My Dad means so much to me. I am so glad God chose him to be my Dad. He will always have a special place in my heart as my protector, my hero, but most of all My Dad! Thank you so much for letting me know that I can talk to you anytime I need to and for having a shoulder I know I can cry on! Happy Fathers Day Daddy! I love you!

Sometimes the songs we sing in church touch my heart not just by the words but the way they are sang and the passion the singer has. Today John McCullough sang it and he's awesome (My ALL time favorite singer!) and that just made it so much better. A song that was sang this morning touched my heart and it reminded me that, if I seek God first He'll talk to me and get me through the things that are bothering me. There has been some stuff bothering me some lately and I think God had that song picked out just for me. I've learned that i need to be still and KNOW not think that He is God and He has my life and I'm still learning how to let him take control, and buddy has the devil been after me! God has showed me so much in my life and I'm so excited to learn more.

The song is called Living for Your Glory and it goes like this:

Flowers Everywhere!

My mom is a fanatic when it comes to flowers, (I think she has an obsession). If weeds are in the garden which, we have like 836459834965 billion STILL! It's driving her insane. we have quite a collection of flowers, and I love everyone of them.

My absolute favorites are the Columbines:

there are so many more flowers, and God created them to be beautiful just the way they are! :)

God has done so much for me these past few months, and I'm so grateful that he has chosen me and my testimony to reach more people than I could ever imagine. I never thought that what I've went through these past years that something good was going to come out of it, but as most of you see it has.

I've learned over the past couple of years that many trials are blessings in disguise, and I've found that it's more than true. I've went from foster home to foster home, school to school, where I've finally just gave up. God was still there when I doubted him. God was still there when I cursed him and told him He didn't care about me that if He did none of this would be happening to me, but not once did he leave me, and I knew He didn't. I always knew He was there. He showed it in the littlest ways and if I wasn't paying attention I missed it. No matter what God was there for me. Even at my worst He was still there, and still is! I know he's with you too. He's NOT finished with me yet. God I'm here, and I'm ready to listen! Show me what YOU want me to do. I love you.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
