cupa cuppycakes!

2010-09-09T00:29:00.000-04:00

Cuppy made cupcakes today! Vanilla sugar plum cuppycakes that is! secret? After making the vanilla icing beat in 1/4 of a pouch of grape jello, ice and let sit in the fridge for 1hr!

I brought over a batch to Myra, Matt and even made baby cuppys for baby Haidyn. I got a little creative with the tooth picks that stopped the icing from sticking to the saran wrap.

2010-08-26T18:37:00.002-04:00

I went down to the south shore to my favorite place to make more of my favorite memories. Every year since I was 12 I have been going down to my best friends cottage with a group of girls/guys to meet our beloved friends from New Hampshire and a few from Toronto for a few days/week/weeks it truly is something special and am I am so greatful to be apart of it. Every year is different sometimes we all make it and sometimes it's only a few of us but each year has special memories and amazing times to be remembered. The strong bond we all have isn't something that everyone will get to experience in their life time so it is a bond that I charish and hold very close to my heart.
This year was one of a kind, I was the only girl! I drove up with Mikey D (Dolphin) and Wolf. Dolphin is my best friends long term, ex boyfriend who is still dear to us and Wolf is my best friends brothers best friend. There we met Sias, Joe and Sias`s parents. We did a long walk on the rocks (which I paid for after!! counted just under 200 bug bites!! They love me!!), hit the beach, had camp fires, cooked amazing food, caught lobster (shhh) and drank a hella lot while playing the classic beer pong. The thing to remember this year is that we found a whale skull on the beach and the boys carried it all the way back to the house to use as yet another decorative memory. I am hoping to make a facebook invite in the fall for some days up there next summer. I`m hoping if planned early enough everyone who has been apart of it at one point can plan ahead and make it happen next year.
Here are some wonderful pics from this year and some years ago- I cant put pics from too long ago because I don`t have a scanner and we all no none owned a digi cam back then. :)

Goodbye Toronto, Hello Halifax... I missed you!

2010-08-17T21:39:00.000-04:00

So I've only been in Halifax for about 2 and a half hours but already I feel so much stress off my shoulders. I always have excuses for not blogging but really I've just been so busy- here, in Halifax I will have lots of time!

Incase you didn't know I sprained the ol ankle reallllly bad (3rd grade bad) so I have been quite the gimp! Never carry chairs down stairs after a night of drinking! Bad idea!! I have a pic of it that I will post once I figure out how to get it off my blackberry! I am so greatful for everyones help although there have been some times where I just wouldn't take the help. People were waiting for me at every stop in the airport with a wheel chair, but here I am with my huge, oversized suit case (because I'm moving) and my chihuahua.... the last thing I wanted was to seem anymore princess like, so I dodged them all saying "oh it's not me you're looking for!!" and continued on my way... in a slow, awkward, gimpy way yes, but I still did it on my own!

My wonderful Mama picked me up at the airport and we arrived home to my poppie (dad, daddy, dada)- he gets the liberity of being called all names- having a BBQ and red red wine with a few golf buddies. It was soooo yummy and I was so happy to be home I wanted to cry. (not really). But I am super happy to be home and so is Kingston, he's even running arround outside right now with no leash! Only in Halifax.
It's only 10pm but I think I'm going to finish my red vino, fill up the old fashion bathtub and hit the sack with lots of pillows and ice pack for my foot for I must be well rested, tomorrow night I am hitting up the Backstreet boys concert. Yes you heard that right and it you're female n' in your 20's you cannot deny that you still love them!!
Anywhooo I'm sure my next post will be about the concert (and making out with Nick Carter.... yeah maybe if he was as cute as he was back then...)
Night cuppys- ur cute

soooo full!!

Remember Pippy?

2010-08-12T01:55:00.002-04:00

lol, had to share

Date's set....

2010-08-06T00:19:00.000-04:00

I just spent 10 hours packing all my things and deciding what to keep and what to get rid o,f what will be free and what I will sell.... I am getting rid of sooooo many clothes but it wasn't as hard to part with them as I thought, I really don't ware them anymore and lets be honest they're just sitting in my closet getting more and more out of style, but style always comes back! No. I cannot think that way! No being a pack rat! I can get a new one when it comes back! My vintage ceder trunk is going to be reallllly tuff to sell, I love it! I always keep it at the end of my bed, sometimes with linens in it an sometimes my art supplies (which is another thing I have a ton of and have to get rid of) so sad but also exciting, here I am yet again starting on a new adventure and I couldn't be more happy (well lets face it we can always be a little more happy).
I'm finished at work now, realized I really needed these last two weeks to say good byes and get organized, moving is always stressful so I'm making sure I make time for lots of fun. I'm also starting some digestive cleanse... not sure what to expect but I'll keep posted.
Went to the island yet again this past weekend, amazing time yet again, but did something realllllly stupid.... forgot the rough copy of my business plan there, I have done many dumb things but this was by far the worst! Trying not to get stressed about it, it's all in my head it's really just about getting it all down again.
So here's my "give away" pile doesn't look like much in the pic, but it is! My beloved trunk is in the background with frames and mirrors n' tings I have furniture to sell- some good stuff too so contact me if you're in the Toronto area and need anything!

Island Party!

2010-07-30T00:20:00.000-04:00

Took off to Toronto island this week for Matt's (a Vivoli staff member where my roommates work) birthday party. He awesomely lives on his sail boat there. I went with Blaire and some friends of ours and my what a kick ass time we had, such a good time in fact we don't remember the ferry ride home. I will for sure miss Toronto Island when I leave it's a pretty amazing spot.

Can't move my neck but I oh so happY!!!

2010-07-25T20:13:00.001-04:00

I have been working on my secret little project for the last 9 hours! My neck is stuck tilted ever so slightly downward and my hand has a callus from my pen. But I have this excited feeling! The feeling in knowing the universe is on my side and some how all the stars are aligned correctly and things are going and gonna go my way! I had the cutest but most lazy helperrr or company too!- It is now time for a shower and have some drinks- tata

Here it is...

2010-07-25T11:14:00.001-04:00

I'm just going to come right out and say it...... at the end of the month of Aug. I will be returning to Halifax, yep that's right, I'm moving back. Now that in it's self is not all THAT exciting, There is reason why.... some people know already, some do not all I will say is that it has to do with taking a huge leap in my career. No worries I am not with child!! I know that's what you were allll thinking!! There is no exact date yet but sometime in the last week of Aug. Kingston and I will be going going back back to Hali Hali!!

Today is the first chilly morning I have felt in Toronto in months! Chilly being 21 but its windy so it allllmost feels like fall out there it's a nice relief from the gross humidity that has been lurking. So I'm going to walk up to Starbucks and get my most fave drink ever a soy green tea latte and enjoy this not so humid morning! Here is one of my favorite Sunday morning sites to check out "Texts From Last Night" for those of you who have yet to discover it.

Head in a Rain Cloud

2010-04-12T21:00:00.001-04:00

So I haven't done a post in a billion years but I've been busy kinda and kinda lazy (only with blogging) it has been so warm and sunny that you will never catch me on the computer anymore! Although... I got my income taxes done today and I get some muuula in the mail in 2 weeks! And it is a noice chunk of cash so I can finally put some towards getting a camera (something that I have clearly been lacking in life).
Other then that there really isn't much goin ooon. Stared full time at my job, Myra, Matt and the boo came for a visit.... just really been a granola kid and have been spending lots of time in the parks.
I've also been doing a hellllll of a lot of thinking and can't really talk about what yet- but when I have it all figured out I'll make sure to update. Hopefully that's soon... I need to get my head out of the rain cloud!

It's been 2 weeks since I started to kick my own butt!! I have been eating uber healthy (I do pretty much all the time anyway- but I've just been crazy about it) and working out a lot! I feel amazing and don't know why I ever cut back this winter! I know I haven't been blogging much but I've been keeping busy!! Some girlfriends and I hit up a friends cottage just for the day on Monday and it was great, it was national womens day and lets just say some skinny dipping went down- The proof is in the pic I posted of girls in their towels and rubber boots in the snow! All in all I have been taking some serious ME time and it has been amazing I even got some sushi and some red red wine and watched The Secret Diary of a Call Girl in my PJ's in bed last Friday night- it was great! Oh and I got my colored- yet again... I'm back to being dark and I F'in love it!! It has a burgundy undertone and is oh so shiny! This Sunday Ebony and I are starting hot yoga classes at Kula- maaan excite!

Soooo that's it for now, I'm sore and need to take a hot bath before bed! Going shopping this weekend- maybe I'll blog a bit of that then!

You will get really into it so I advise you set aside 6 hours and watch all 3 parts. Anything someone can tell me about the human mind and really yanks my crank lol. Let me know what you think!!!

Work hard and be nice to people

2010-02-09T23:05:00.000-05:00

I'm soooo overwhelmed with excitement right now! Things have been happening all week that have given me inspiration, ideas and answers! I'm just around the corner from having all my Indie craft business ideas together! I'm jumping around my room trying to decide where to start first!
I have recently discovered that I was put on this earth to fulfill a certain artistic influential roll so I figure why not profit from what makes me happy?
I consider there to be 6 important aspects of my life....love, family, friends, health, your working life and your home, all in which I know exactly what I want. You need to take lots of time and thought about what you truly want and at the moment I'm working on my "working life" it has been an emotional struggle since I moved back to Toronto in May of 09. I now have my answers and I am the most estatic lady in the world. :)
