Yeah, I know. Doing math has never been one of my favorite pastimes. Even when I want to know the answer, I prefer to let people who like that stuff crunch the numbers and I just happily accept whatever they tell me. But bear with me for a minute. There's a method to my cyphering here.

The last number on the list up there represents the number of seconds in 3,000 years, give or take a few leap days and dinner at Sardi's. Why in the hell would I want to know that? Because I needed a little perspective on things.

If you received one dollar a second all day, every day, for 3,000 years, you'd have $94 billion bux and change. Heck, each day, you'd wake up with $86,000 more than you went to bed with. At that rate, you could buy a McMansion every week, for cash.

So why am I lashing you, dear reader, with all these numbers? Why have I chosen this Valentine's Day 2012, the fourth anniversary of my Asian adventure, to torture and main with mathematics?

Well, if you look at the bottom line, you'll notice that in 3,000 years, you'd only have about one tenth of one trillion dollars, meaning it would take 30,000 years of earning one dollar every second to get one trillion dollars. Therefore, at this rate it would take 450,000 years to pay off the US national debt, assuming no compounding interest with repayment at 86,400 buckaroos every day.

According to the US debt clock, which I have conveniently linked in the side bar for your handy reference, says that consumer debt in the US is $2.5 trillion. Mortgage debt (again US only) is $13.4 trillion. The number which makes my eyes fall out and my brain short circuit is the total unfunded obligations for debt and social programs and pensions is...wait for it...$118 trillion dollars.

It would take an entire geologic age to pay that off with out $86,000/day, every day, 365 days a year (with leap days off). Don't know about you, but I've never seen $86,000 at one time in my entire life, much less every day for a couple of million years.

To put it another way, if every man, woman and child on Earth (7 billion give or take a pro football team) forked over $16,714 right this very minute, the US would just get back to 0.

I don't know about you, but that astounds me. I mean, there are Stone Age tribes here in Indonesia whose entire life imcomes per capita will never equal that much, and we haven't even gotten to the Amazon yet, much less Africa.

Look how much pain and suffering Greece's mere EUR345 billion has caused. In fact, the combined debt of the PIIGS (Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece, Spain) is less than a fifth of the US unfunded liabilities, and that's causing millions of people to lose everything and governments to become unstable, and riots in the streets, and the possible collapse of a currency.

The average US citizen with a bachelor's degree can expect to earn about $52,200/year. That means with no interruptions and a 40 years career, he or she will earn roughly $2 million in their entire life. Roughly 40% of the US population have a BA. That ain't gonna cover it, sorry.

Even if you manage to get through your whole life and rack up a house and a car that are paid off, and stash away some cash and investments that get you through to a hole in the ground, your kids will have to sell all of it just to pay the onerous 50% death tax on your estate. That hardly gives them a leg up on the next generation, and that's assuming lawyers and other bottom feeders don't descend on your scratchings to challenge this and claim that. And if there's 10 cents left in your account, believe me, they will.

The question I have is: Why is anyone supporting and defending a system/paradigm that is in no way supporting and defending them? You scramble all your life to build a family and an estate on the pittance that the banksters and government leeches leave after interest and taxes. Then, when you die, it's all stolen at the point of a gun so that your family has to do the same for the remainder of their lives.

It's a vicious and cynical circle designed to maximize the amount of wealth stolen from you, and minimize the amount of services and benefits returned to you. If at any point you don't pay the Syndicate's protection fees, they take it all and throw you in jail, thus likely impoverishing you for the rest of your natural born days.

Frankly, when you take a cold, hard look at this mess, why would anyone want to continue it? Why not let it all fail and start over. That's likely to be less painful in the long run than the endless bailouts and government buy-outs and welfare programs buying cell phones and service for those who don't deserve them using your money. You're also paying for housing, health insurance and food for other people at the point of a gun, when you can barely (if at all) provide those things for yourself and your family.

The System is broken, at least for the vast majority of us in the Pile. For those at the top, life's a gravy train of undeserved and unearned bonuses, holidays, vacations, and country club memberships paid for with your broken back.

Bammy's gotten in more rounds of golf in the past month than I've had in the past 20 years. In fact, I haven't gotten in a single round since he became president. And his rounds are paid for by us, as are his lavish family jaunts around the world on our airplane.

Congress gets rich retirement accounts, special health care and recreation facilities, tasty paychecks, and an entire phone book of other benefits paid for with our sweat and toil.

The banksters get grossly huge bonuses, Ivory Tower offices, Manhattan suites and upstate summer homes, and at least one paid day off every month for what? Lending you a few bucks until payday and sticking you with disgusting interest rates that make pawn shop loan sharks look like upstanding members of society.

Let it fail. It's not worth saving. The System is corrupt and evil and is designed to benefit the very few on the backs of the decreasing number of truly productive members of this so-called society.

Athens, Greece

Since Bammy took office, the US national debt has gone from $10 trillion to $15 trillion. The number of US families is 83 million. They could have handed every family in the US $60,000 today. Think what that would do for the economy. Instead, it was all given to a bunch of vile, decrepid old men who ran the country into the dust in the first place, and then wanted us to bail them out when they screwed the pooch. How much sense does that make, at least from the point of view of the vast majority of us.

You've seen the numbers now. Do you really think this System is supportable? Do you honestly think that this will all end in a bed of roses? Do you honestly think that it can be sustained much longer? The US debt alone is already at staggering levels, and it's only one of 190 or so countries, most of which are in the same boat to some extent or another. And they all owe the same cabal of twisted, life-sucking greed mongers.

"Athens Burning," the headline reads. Coming to a town near you, sooner than any of us would like to think.

It's both astounding and gratifying to see so many people waking up to the Grand Deception. The pace is quickening. Thanks to the internet, the amount of information available now is mind-boggling.

Back when I was waking up, most of the information was still in books, and those books were particularly hard to find. There were 'subversive' groups and bookstores scattered far and wide where you could get your hands on The Truth, but they were like porn shops in the old days. You had to go at night, park a couple of blocks away, and cover your face when you went in and came out. Seriously.

I remember finding on such bookstore literally in the middle of nowhere in West Texas. If you've ever been to west Texas, then you know that I don't exaggerate when I say 'the middle of nowhere'. It was called the Patriot Store, and it was a thinly disguised old gas station that still ostensibly sold gasoline. But people came from far and wide for the enormous selection of subversive literature that it sold.

A lot of the books were so rare that they had a single copy that they had permission to photocopy and sell. I managed to find an extremely rare full series of Henry Ford's "The International Jew". That's where I discovered The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. Few people realize that Ford was a rabid anti-Zionist and anti-bankster. That information has been thoroughly suppressed. Now a-days, a quick search on the internet will bring that information to your screen. I had to make a special trip over three days to the Middle of Nowhere to find it.

I remember distinctly the fear and loathing I felt as I absorbed that information. I nearly gave up in sheer dread thinking there was no way out. The Beast was so pervasive, so all-encompassing, and had invaded every aspect of western culture that there was no possible means to defeat such a monster.

Writing in the 1920s, Ford laid out the whole plan. He used Congressional testimony, documents, archives, and just pure deductive logic to expose the whole (very old) New World Order. This is the 1920s, mind you. Movies didn't have sound yet. Ford had just invented the Model T assembly line. Oklahoma was still a territory, Hawaii was a kingdom, and Alaska was a wilderness.

Yet Ford was laying out a plan for world domination that 70 years later, as I read those books, had come shockingly to life around me.

When I first learned about the Federal Reserve Bank, that was not federal, had no reserves and was not a bank, I was stunned. A private consortium of European and American banks had completely taken over control and issuance of the most powerful currency in the world, and by extension, the entire western economy. People actually thought I was telling them the latest conspiracy theory when I described this gang of thugs. Now it's nearly common knowledge.

Ford's was not the only material I read. I devoured mountains of books, transcripts, scribblings, and spent hours listening to the Old Guard who had been fighting since before I was born: the researchers who had spent their lives uncovering the full extent of the web of lies that we generally refer to as daily life. One old fellow in south Texas spent five hours one Saturday laying the whole thing out for me, while his pet cougar chewed on my toes.

At that point, with that information, and with the new ability to 'see' what was truly around me, I was left with two choices that were unavoidable: swallow the blue pill or the red pill. The blue pill, I would wake up in my bed believing it was all a ghost story for a rainy night in the woods and go about my business as usual. The red pill, I would have to fight with everything I had at my disposal. There was no middle ground. Having that information had created a polarization in my life. The fence was destroyed and I could no longer sit on it.

Twenty years later, it's become a rather different world. Many people are waking up to the world that has been pulled over our eyes. People like Ron Paul have made some of the information main stream, after a fashion. The media, of course, still ignore him, but he is still making huge waves despite the electronic anonymity.

NATO and the Nazis

Still, what is commonly known is merely the shallowest layer of a vastly deeper rabbit hole. It stretches back thousands of years and involves crimes of such magnitude as to be nearly impossible to grasp with the mind. But the satisfying part is that we awakened individuals are not alone. We have some very large and very powerful allies. And while they are not themselves perfect, they are nonetheless fighting the same battle we are, with far more resources than we could muster.

I'm speaking of China and Russia, of course.

These two countries have good reason to rise up against the Anglo-American empire. The former has seen many of these empires come and go, and they know how to cut them off at the knees. The latter is a victim of it and will not be fooled again.

China is probably the oldest, unbroken culture on Earth. It's contiguous history stretches back some 3,000 years. It has produced such common things as rockets, paper money, noodles, and coal for energy. It has witnessed Genghis and Kublai Khans, the Han Dynasty and empires of such wealth and power as to rival even the current (very old) New World Order.

While Europe was wallowing around in a Medieval stupor, Genghis Khan had built an empire that had swallowed the entire eastern half of the globe and was knocking at the door of Europe (the Mongol Hoard). He had instituted religious tolerance, national lotteries, paper money, a highly complex state banking system, and pulbic education.

China knows empires when it sees one.

Russia was nearly destroyed by the Anglo-American empire. It's becoming more widely known that the Communist empire was created by the (very old) New World Order. Russia and Europe have had an uneasy co-existence for the past thousand years. European dictators have tried to take over Russia many times, most famously with Napolean Bonaparte (which created margarine, by the way).

At the turn of the century, the western banking establishment began funding the Bolsheviks to destroy the Russian empire from within, or at least hasten the process, since Nicholas was already losing control. The problem was that men like Stalin and Lenin were not content to rule over Russia. They wanted the entire world.

Russia is a powerhouse, make no mistake. That is what has made it such an attractive bauble in the bankster toy box. But they lost control of it and needed to create another monster to destroy the first. Kind of like Frankenstein, in fact.

So the banksters created Hitler and the Nazis from the only European nation powerful enough to thwart the Bolsheviks. The problem was that Hitler had studied the American Revolution and Civil Wars, and knew that state issuance of money was the only way to restore wealth and prosperity to his country.

No sooner had the banksters propped up Hitler, than he overran pretty much all of Europe and refused to play the bankster game, just like Russia next door.

The British Empire was already dust by this time, so they made a pact with their American cousins and created Pearl Harbor to mobilize the power of the States to fight the new monster. The US almost didn't succeed, since projecting force thousands of miles away was a mighty tall order at the time.

By the end of WWII, the Anglo-American banksters saw their opporunity to finally succeed where they had failed so many times before, at the hands of the Holy Roman empire, then Napolean, then Russia, and finally Germany. Now there were no most barriers to their ambitions.

But, two things are thwarting their ambitions: the Sino-Russian allaince and the vast numbers of people wising up to their shenanigans. The Chinese, of course, have seen this game played many times on the world stage, and they're not buying it. The Russians, bitter about their own history, refuse to play along. Within the ranks of the slave class in the West, people are starting to see their chains, and they don't like it. The Tower of Babel is crumbling fast.

Signs that the Anglo-American empire is dying are everywhere. The Chinese control the Panama Canal. The Russians have a naval base in Venezuela. The Chinese are winning the hearts and minds of so-called Third World countries by building infrastructure, rather than stealing resources by propping up tin-pot dictators. The Middle East manipulations aren't going the way they were planned. China refuses to issue debt-based currency and play footsie with the Rothschild-Rockefeller trusts.

The holes in the armor are showing and the (very old) New World Order don't have the economic umph nor the goodwill to make the final push. Where this gets dangerous is that groups with the sort of ambitions and single-minded goals like the banksters don't go quietly.

The (very old) New World Order have the toys to make everyone suffer for their failures, and in their depareration are quite likely to use them. They also have toys that we are just now beginning to know about, like Hyperdimensional physics and the incredible things possible through it. The problem is, so do the Russians and the Chinese. How far are they willing to go to finish their plans? And how far with the Sino-Russian alliance go to stop them? And what will be the effect on us 'regular' people?

Things are quickly coming to a head. One senses that both sides are growing tired of the uneasy stalemate that has been in place for the past decade or so. When this kind of pressure builds behind a log jam, something will give eventually, and that eventually is likely sooner than later.

Solomon's Seal

The patriot is left with a conundrum. Sun Tsu famously said, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." It is tempting to root for the Sino-Russian alliance, since they are obviously aware of and capable of fighting the (very old) New World Order. But if they win, they are just as likely to become the next world order. It is vitally important that people read voraciously and learn all they can about real history and current events. We must not only prepare ourselves for the clash of titans, but to take advantage of the lull to rebuild the world with true freedom and liberty, and to pass the knowledge to our future generations, so they do not fall prey to the ambitions of evil men again.

The extant war is not about commies and jews and zionists and freemasons. It is about the evil of greed and naked aggression and the possibilities of finally liberating the human mind and body to reach its true potential. Time is short and the polarization has begun. We must carefully choose sides and prepare ourselves for the battle ahead.

Cigareets And Whiskey And Wild Wild Women

For most readers, I need not list all the people in the PTB set that have said on the record that they want to wipe out a fair chunk of humanity. There's Prince Charles and His Royal Daddy, Bill Gates, Henry Kissinger, and the Bush Gang, along with the Georgia Guide Stones. It's hardly a secret.

They stage wars to kill off thousands of the future leaders and thinkers. They LOVE cars that burn all that delicious petroleum. They fill up our drinking water with God knows how many nasty chemicals. They promote drug addiction, as long as a doctor scribbles on a piece of paper. They pump us to the hilt with vile, dangerous and killer vaccines. In fact, they promote just about everything that will kill you while making money for them.

So what's the big deal with cigarettes? Why the decades-long war on tobacco? Why the brainwashing and laws and draconian efforts to rid the planet of this self-promoting cash crop?

It's but a vague memory now. I live in Indonesia where cigarette smoking is still a right, a net exporter of tobacco and one of the few places left on Earth that still allows cigarette ads in print and on TeeVee (just can't show anyone actually smoking). But I do remember the way people thought they had every right to treat you like a social deviant if you so much as mentioned Marlboro.

So, if the PTB/W are so damned hot to kill everyone while making a profit, why are they pushing this whole anti-smoking craze?

Adolf Hitler was a rabid anti-smoker and vegetarian. Look what that got the world. On the flip-side, nearly every artist I know is a closet smoker.

Sure, it causes all kinds of nasty things, but Xanax makes you suicidal, and they push that crap like it's going out of style. Sure, stale smoke is not one of the more pleasant smells, but the BPA in nearly every plastic food container in your house is a really nasty little molecule. Sure cigarettes are dirty, what with all that ash and the filters, but BP killed the Gulf of Mexico with its oil and Fukishima is killing all the rest of the world.

One could say that they really have a heart after all. One could say that they need to have something they can point to for credibility in the 'caring and sharing' department. I don't buy for a Jogjakarta minute.

The other day, I was listening to one of the dozens of interviews I peruse every week. Someone said something that piqued my interest. She said that some evidence pointed to cigarettes protecting the pineal gland from certain chemicals like fluoride. If you don't know, fluoride makes people docile and open to suggestion, and since the pineal gland (also called the third eye) is associated in vastly different cultures with insight, intuition and wisdom, it makes a weird sort of sense.

It did get me to thinking. Why would such murderous, evil bastards, who love making money and majik off of killing people, want to eradicate cigarettes that hook the smoker into a lifelong money-spending habit, and which has been a major cash crop for centuries?

And while we're at it, we could say the same thing about marijuana.

It does lead me to conclude that there is something about tobacco that they don't like. Yet many of them are fierce smokers themselves. I can't imagine they don't want us all riddled with cancer and shot-out lungs and heart attacks. They love that stuff. Packs hospitals, sells drugs and gets spiteful health care legislation passed.

Let's say the pineal gland does have a sort of metaphysical function. It is, after all, the only part of the brain that doesn't come in a pair. Suppose it does aid and abet things like insight and higher wisdom. We know that fluoride has a negative effect on the gland, and Lord only knows what other chemicals the bastards are pumping into us and the effects they have on the little peanut-sized lump of flesh.

In my mind, I connect things like creativity and smoking. Certainly, being a smoker causes you to take at least a couple of breaks a day just to stare into space while you enjoy sucking plant smoke into your lungs. They sure don't like people sitting around thinking. That's why they keep inventing all the Asian gee-gaws to keep our monkey minds occupied.

Cigarettes have seemingly always been associated with tough, independent and rebellious spirts. Look at James Dean, Humphrey Bogart and the Marlboro Man. How many times have you seen the image of the rough and tumble cowpoke plopping down by the fire after a long day in the saddle and sparking up a butt?

Could there be something to this? Could cigarettes be the bane of Them? Do cigarettes somehow neutralize some effort on their part to neutalize us?

It's an interesting idea to noodle on. When you think about it, it really doesn't make sense that they would zero in on cigarettes with all the far greater threats to health out there. Hell, most of the rabid anti-smokers I know think nothing of going jogging next to a busy street at rush hour. There they are pumping gobs of nasties into their lungs and raising their heart rate to really get all the crud well circulated, while they're at it.

Certainly anyone who's read this site long enough knows that I'm rather independent and have no hesitation thinking outside the box. I've also had a long, illustrious career in the performing arts. And I've been a pack-a-day guy since I was about 13.

Hell, even Bammy is a heavy huffer. If nothing else, you gotta give him credit for being creative. He spins some good ones. Got him the presidency, after all.

So it's just one of those ponders. You have to sit up and take notice when evil murderous bastards seem to care about people's health. It's not in character, and when people do things out of character, there's usually an ulterior motive. It usually belies a weakness, too.

Next time you spark up, think about it. Are you a rugged individualist with a strong creative streak? It just might be because of the stogie you're sucking on.

Family Law Is Neither

There is a pernicious evil eating at the core of western civilization. It is the foundation of nearly all other evils attacking the good people there. It is the root of moral decay and systemic destruction of the family. Because of it, folks no longer have an ethical compass and it is chasing men away in search of stability and balance in their lives.

It goes by many names, and has operatives and spies nearly everywhere. It feeds off the worst aspects of the human character. It impoverishes people and incarcerates them in a whimsical and nonsensical manner. It has no regard for truth or justice. It's sole purpose is to destroy from within.

IT is the so-called Family Law system. This vile rot is eating out the heart of nations and has completely destroyed millions of lives.

It purports to champion women and children, but it must utterly demonize men to do it. It empowers the worst aspects of the female personality in order to trample the rights and lives of husbands and fathers. It entices women by offering 'insurance' that the men will 'pay' for their children and spouses, yet it's primary goal is to imprison the men so that they are prevented from doing what the system says they should.

I have met dozens of men in Asia who have escaped the vicious maw of the Family Law system. Some have been impoverished by ex-wives and girlfriends who, out of sheer vindictiveness, have taken all that they have worked for and endeavored to build with their lives.

In fact, that is the true goal of the Family Law system. It is not to protect anyone. It is designed solely and completely to destroy men and prevent them from achieving their true potential. By literally stealing all that they have amassed, and continuing to pop up wherever the men go to take their paychecks and throw them in jail if they fail to meet the outrageous judgements against them.

I know of men who are still being hounded by the system though their children are well past majority age. I know men who have been chased for years for paternity payments, even though they have DNA tests that prove they are not the fathers. I know men who spend a great deal of time in jail because they can't find work, since they are now ex-cons, and so can't meet the support payments, which lands them back in jail...again and again and again.

I know men who pay outrageous sums of money every month to support children they are forbidden to see. They are buried under a mountain of restraining orders and other legal rubbish for no reason other than a vindictive female judge and a wicked ex-wife.

Part of the Family Law system is a...how do I put this politely...thing called Child Protective Services (or any of a dozen other equally benign names). This vile and deleterious organization is nothing more than a band of legal kidnappers and slave traders.

It thrives on a system that pays 'foster parents' to 'care' for children they have kidnapped from the rightful family. These 'foster parents' care little about the children and many offer horrid and squalid conditions in order to collect the state payments. The children are tortured and abused in ways that make many of the worst abusers look mild by comparison.

With the children as hostages, the Family Law system can extract any amount of concessions from the natural parents, who are desperately trying to get their children back. These poor parents become docile drones wiling to do anything to save their children. It is a horrible and demeaning system that beats down human beings to create emotional basket cases.

Let's take an example of someone I know. His story is so horrific that he is still recovering nearly 10 years later. We'll call him Paul.

Paul came home from work one day to find his house completely cleaned out, lock, stock and barrel, and his wife and three children has vanished. Her cell phone number had been changed, as had the numbers of her friends that he knew. The only person he could contact was the father-in-law, who railed at Paul for what he had done to the wife.

Paul was mystified, not sure what any of that meant. On the kitchen counter, he found the case number and contact for a police investigator in the spouse abuse division. Paul couldn't fathom what was going on. He had never abused his wife, and in fact had spent years trying to get his wife help for abuse she had suffered at the hands of her mother and step-family.

As it was Friday, Paul had to wait until Monday to contact the investigator. When he did, he ws informed that the wife had accused him of beating her. Paul was shocked, to say the least.

At lunch, he went to the police station to talk with the investigator. He was told the the wife had several serious injuries and had accused Paul of beating her the previous Thursday between 7am and 730am. Paul wrote out his statement, and when he returned to the office, he collected key card records, computer log-on files, email and phone records which showed conclusively that he was sitting at his desk at the very time she reported being beaten.

The investigation concluded that there was no possible way for Paul to have beaten the wife, and he later found out that she had tried changing her story a couple of times to match what she thought was Paul's testimony.

The wife finally turned up three months later 1,500 miles away in another city. The children had been taken from her since they were running wild outside a motel where she was prostituting and doing drugs. She had been kicked out of the shelter system because she was never there taking care of the children.

In the meantime, the oldest child had admitted to the CPS 'case workers' that his mother had been sexually abusing him for some time. He was 12 years old at the time.

This and other information was presented to a judge in the other state who agreed to release the children to be returned to their home state. But they were not returned to Paul. Instead, they were placed into foster care while Paul was thoroughly investigated up one wall and down the other.

The children were repeatedly traumatized by being placed with family members, and then re-kidnapped on several occasions for no apparent reason. The mother-in-law, afraid that the horrific abuse she and her current husband's family had perpetrated on the wife when she was young, began making dozens of wild accusations. They were accepted without question despite years worth of psychological records showing the woman to be quite unstable.

The mother-in-law was also placed in charge of the wife, who was at this point facing numerous felony charges. Despite being in the mother's "loving" care, the wife committed suicide under suspicious circumstances and her body was not discovered for three days. This followed three previous attempts in the mother's own home.

Meantime, the Family Law system investigated Paul's every breath. They took his school records, job history, driving record, tax filings...everything public record they could dig up. They forced him into psycho-therapy and dozens of useless classes and help groups. He went along with all of it in the desperate hope of getting his children back, who by now had been spirited away to some 'foster' home for months without contact of any kind.

Despite having combed through Paul's life with a fine-tooth comb, they found nothing but a couple of hundred dollars in unpaid taxes from 10 years before. This didn't stop them from putting him through sheer hell. They loaded him down with insipid classes and therapy sessions, and dragged him to court once or twice a week for pointless hearings. They drug tested him and visited his house on a regular basis to see what he was up to.

In the three years that Paul went through this, friends and family had helped him rebuild his home so that the vultures could see that he was prepared to give the children a comfortable and safe place to live. He had kept the children registered in school in the hopes that they would be home soon. But it all took a toll.

Paul was fired from his job because he spent more time jumping through hoops than sitting at his desk. He had already spent more than a quarter million dollars defending himself from nothing, trying to get his children back. Without a cent and no job, the vultures smelled blood and pounced.

Paul's own sister, a lesbian and a 'social worker,' had taken the children by now. She saw an opportunity to take the children from Paul, since she was never going to have any by natural means. She sided with CPS and the Family Law system and finally forced Paul to make a horrible choice: either go to trial without a lawyer and risk losing the children forever, or accept joint custody with his sister. He would have visitation 'rights' and would have to pay support based on his income from his last job. He was making well over $100,000/year when he was employed. They were going to stick him with support payments of $4,000/month...with no job and absolutely no resources left.

Paul saw the writing on the wall. They were salivating at the prospect of throwing him in jail within months for non-payment. His only option was to sign away his 'parental rights.' Mind you, this is all while his children were being held incommunicado, which means he was under about as much duress as a man could be.

Paul signed.

Immediately, his sister got a restraining order and refused to let him see his children. He bounced around trying to find work and doing freelance projects. His life was completely wrecked and he was on the verge of becoming a full-blown alcoholic trying to drown the pain and anger he felt.

This is the Family Law system in a nutshell. It is a horrible, dreadful creature that eats families and destroys lives. It is the reason I meet so many men here in Asia looking for traditional culture and decent women, and a legal system that still respects family above all.

Until this blight is completely dismantled and relegated to the dust-bin of history, I see little hope for the future of western civilization. It is eating itself from the inside out. The Family Law system is a parasite draining the life out of the culture.

Despite the magnitude of this evil, it remains well hidden, because its victims are thoroughly discredited and have no voice to fight back. The feminist movement has created a beast that eats men's lives with little though for truth and justice. The Family Law system does not promote equality and fairness. It is nothing more than using the power of the state to vanquish the family and create mindless sheep. It has completely undermined thousands of years of balance, tradition and real strength. And that is its true purpose.

If there is one single cause for the rise in divorce, the plummeting birth rates and the masculinization of women, then the Family Law system is it. Destroy it and restore sanity to the world.

Culture Ain't Just For Yougurt

Culture is a product of its constituent 'hearts' and 'minds.' I use hearts and minds in their metaphorical senses, because despite the best efforts of science, they can not find organs or electro-chemical processes that produce those two things.

There is a muscular pump called the heart, but it is not the literal seat of the emotions. There is a mass of gelatinous circuits, but it is not the seat of reason. These two things transcend the sum of the parts that we call human being. And it is these two things that produce 'culture.'

Thus, culture is a product of the state of our collective hearts and minds. It reflects the inner life of those who create and live within it. What we together call 'beautiful' reflects directly on our most transcendent and metaphysical selves.

One of my favorite cities on Earth is Prague (Praha). The name means 'threshold,' and is part of a longer name meaning 'threshold to the stars.' The Old Town is a magnificent example of high architecture. When one stands in the central plaza, one feels elevated and overwhelmed by the examples of stone, metal and wood transformed into practical, yet transcendent spaces. The soaring cathedral, the Old Town Hall, the old city wall all elevate the senses, because everywhere you turn is a vista that evokes harmony, rhythm and mystique.

By contrast, in the outlying areas are concrete gardens of grey boxes that were built during the Soviet occupation era. These areas are lifeless and drab. They depress the spirit and appear dirty and dilapidated, no matter how much cleaning and painting one applies to them.

Both parts of the city are basically practical areas for use by humans to contain and protect their daily lives. Yet, one soars beyond the materials and uses for which they are intended, and the other is a dour and depressing utilitarian nightmare.

Language, too, is a central compenent of culture. To see how our language has deteriorated, one need only compare Shakespeare with Judith Krantz. The works of Shakespeare hammered the English language into something that transcended mere words. Even if you have no clue what is being said, the meter and harmonics of the words being spoken are themselves a high art. In contrast, Krantz' works are hardly elevated above street language, reflecting the basest emotions and desires of humans.

Choose any aspect of culture and compare today's twisted and dark shadows to the products of a century of two ago. Compare Mozart with Lady GaGa. Compare Michelangelo with Miro. Compare Isaac Newton with Carl Sagan. In every case, we can see the devolution and degradation of culture.

If we look for a cause, we can trace it directly to those in power and who control wealth. In nearly every case, the great artists and thinkers of the past were supported in some way by kings and wealthy families. Leonardo da Vinci and Galileo had the Medicis. Mozart had the Austrian emperor. Michalangelo had the Catholic Church.

By the same token, modern artists and creators are sponsored by the wealthy and powerful, but now those supporters are not people, but corporations. The result has been a hollowing out of culture. A corporation is a creature or the state. It has no soul or conscience. It is literally a Frankenstein's Monster. The corporation is a created lifeform without soul, heart or mind. Therefore, whatever it supports and creates can never be elevated or sublime. It will always be a reflection of the lifeless, soulless creature that sponsors it.

A corporation can not create anything more than copies of itself. It is not endowed with those transcendent aspects of humanity called heart and mind. It has no sense of beauty or harmony or rhythm. It exists only to feed the baser desires of greed and power. Therefore, whatever it sponsors will serve only the purpose of enriching itself in the near term. It can never create something for the sake of beauty and to enrich the culture at large. It is supremely self-centered and reflexive.

A Japanese corporation doesn't care about making films that elevate the heart and mind, and explore the human condition. All it cares about is assembling the most elements that will pack the theater and make a profit before everyone figures out that it's just empty calories. There's no spiritual nutrition in any single frame.

A music corporation doesn't care about lofty ideals and harmonic resonance with those who consume it. Music is nothing more than a commodity of clap-trap that enough people will buy to turn a profit.

Because of corporate sponsorship, all art and culture have become nothing more than iron, grain and pork bellies. There's no value added, no transcendence, no beauty. It's just raw materials without creativity. None of it will stand the test of time. In less than a generation, it is all reduced to ugly eye-sores and atonal cacophony with no value past the bottom line of some anonymous, featureless organization.

Take any ancient European cathedral. They are, at their basic level, nothing more than boxes designed to enclose a space. In that sense, they are no different from any modern steel-and-glass monstrosity. But when you enter a cathedral, you are confronted with a sensual metaphor for the human spirit. We begin our journey in the nave next to the baptismal font. Stretching out before us is a soaring cavern of pipe organs, incense and light that engage all the senses and provide a symbolic life's journey.

As you traverse the long, narrow central corridor, you are surrounded with vast windows of colored glass that cause the sunlight to sparkle and dance across the interior. The windows contain symbols that remind us of higher ideals and goals, and provide reminders of lives we are meant to emulate. As we walk, we draw closer to the altar, a symbolic heaven, surrounded in gold and richly adorned in paintings. From a distance, it glows and beckons us forward. Once we arrive, we are surrounded with beauty and harmony. Looking back, the long cavern is dark and foreboding.

Compare that experience to any modern architecture. They are nothing more than ant hills designed to encapsulate the workers who produce wealth for the corporations. There is no uplifting message or sensual engagement. They are cold, lifeless spaces that are the direct manifestation of the entity that owns it.

Because we are surrounded with garbage, we see everything as garbage. We create a disposable culture where we squeeze the pittance of juice from the dried up fruit of our labor and toss the lifeless husk away. Our art and literature have been reduced to the lowest levels of passable consumption. Our food and drink are just barely enough to sustain us. Our manners and interactions with others are little more than masked disgust and disregard for other souls. Our marriages, our families, our sex, our recreation, and every aspect of our lives are nothing more than wrappings for our ambitions and greed, to be thrown out when we have sucked the useful bits from inside.

We have, in fact, become our own creations. We are nothing more than cold, lifeless, soulless corporations. We care little for value and quality, seeking only to feed our immediate desires and base emotions. That which we feed on becomes useless and outmoded once we have taken the small part that serves our greed.

Our culture is what we consume. If we support the crass and low-brow, and ugly and inane, then that is what we become. If we give our bodies bad food, then we become sick. If we feed our hearts and souls with garbage, then our inner selves come to reflect it.

Try this experiment: spend one month listening only to the great composers, looking at classical works of art, watching the highest quality films, and reading the best literature of our culture. Go to the art museum or the live theater. Eat fresh, unpackaged and raw or lightly cooked foods. Just one month. I'm willing to bet that at the end of that month, you will feel refreshed, renewed and rejuvenated. Your outlook on life will change and your mind and heart will be elevated above the hustle and bustle of our modern lives. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve with only a minor adjustment to your daily routhine. Oh, and stay far away from TeeVee. That is an evil and degrading medium...trust me on this one.

Take control of the culture you take into your soul. It is the key to winning the war against the forces of darkness that are trying to destroy us. Watch your language and guard your senses. Focus on beauty and it will end the spell that has been cast over us. Take back our culture and the elite powers will wither away and die.

Beauty, truth and love always win in the end. When we take back our culture and create for the sake of creation again, we will have won without a fight.

Our thought experiment for the day:

Suppose you woke up tomorrow and the USA had gone the way of the USSR?

It's become fashionable these days to be a 'prepper.' Folks are stocking up on things they think they would need to get through a couple of weeks or months of disaster. Storeable food, water filters, generators, even guns and ammo have been on a lot of people's shopping lists lately. I see this as a good trend. It promotes self-sufficiency and is just reasonable in the face of Mother Nature's vagaries.

The part of prepping that no one talks about is the mental gaming of various scenarios. Major militaries have 'war colleges', where the best and brightest gather regularly to ponder the 'what-ifs.' It's part of being ready for anything. The reason people panic, or worse, or stunned into inaction, is that something happens that they hadn't considered possible. Their minds shut down as they try to process the flood of unexpected information.

For those who are serious about prepping, we must prepare our minds as well as our supplies. To do that, we should take a bit of time once in a while to set up possible chains of events, and then noodle through what we would do it they happened.

It's one thing to plan for natural disadters. Most of us have been through one or two, so we can imagine certain events and mentally plot out a pllan of action. But suppose you woke up and your country had collapsed.

The reason I chose the USA is that, 1) it's a very real possiblity, 2) it would affect the entire world, and 3) almost no one is ready for it.

As we discussed last time, most folks have a normalcy bias. In the face of a disaster, they assume that things will return to normal within a short period of time. Because of that, they lose valuable time in responding to a crisis. When there's a blackout, we generally assume that it will be back in a couple of hours or less. We don't immediately react as if it is gone and may not return for months, or even years.

When the USSR collapsed, no one expected it, at least at the general population level. We saw the news footage of vast crowds gathered at the Kremlin and Yeltsin standing on the tank leading the charge. However, it was months before the average Joe began to process the fact that the USSR was gone and not coming back.

At this moment in time, the very real possibility exists that the USA may follow suit sooner or later. It has run up astronomical debt in trying to maintain its empire (just like the USSR), its currency is in very real danger of collapse (just like the USSR), and there's a growing sentiment among the population at large that things are not right and need fixing fast (just like the USSR). It stands to reason that some event may trigger a domino effect that could collapse the USA overnight, just like the USSR.

Here's our scenario. Israel unilaterally attacks Iran, assuming that the USA will jump in, as it always has, to pull its bacon out of the fire (pun intended). But, when the order comes down from the CIC, the top military brass balks and refuses to engage. This causes an immediate crisis with certain elements within the ranks surrounding the White House seeking the arrest of the CIC.

Within hours of the news hitting the wire, the general population is galvanized. Thousands, if not millions of folks converge on city halls, state capitols and DC. At least one group takes over national media facilities and begins an unstoppable uplink live to satellite and internet getting the word out around the usual 'gatekeepers' filtering the message.

The world at large gets wind of this. It causes an immediate crisis of confidence in the dollar and dollar-denominated financial intstruments. In less than 72 hours, the dollar collapses to unheard of lows and Americans around the world can not exchange their dollars or use them to pay airfare, hotels and other needs. Credit cards are frozen or refused.

In the USA, by the end of the first week, a significant number of people are calling in sick. Either they are on strike in solidarity, or they are afraid to make the commute through mobs of protesters to get to work.

The CIC barracades himself in the White House, making near round-the-clock appeals on the media outlets that are still listening. He orders military and national guard to suppress the uprising, but this is only effective in certain limited areas, like LA and New York City. As locals feed out images on the crack down on the internet, this further enrages the general populace and even fence-sitters are forced to join sides.

By the end of the second week, the power grid is only sporadic, dependent on dedicated skeleton crews to keep it running at all. Stores have been emptied and are not being restocked, because the truckers and train engineers are either on strike or not willing to risk their lives to deliver supplies. Around the country, a number of city halls have been torched and several state capitols have been taken over by protesters.

Washington DC is under seige. Millions of people have literally encircled the city and are backed up by military who are still loyal to their oaths. There are reports of numerous projectiles of various kinds hitting the White House, and the CIC is trapped in the underground bunker, deperately appealing for order, though by now, most of the media are either taken over or more focused on national and global events to worry about him.

By the end of the third week, local leaders have emerged and taken over the libraries of major universities. They have set up common law councils to try to re-establish order. Across the nation, thousands of suburban neighborhoods have sealed themselves off and have pooled supplies and resources with citizen patrols repelling interlopers. Thousands more people have started squatting in national parks and have set up make-shift cities using the facilities there.

In DC, the CIC has announced that he will resign and surrender to US Marshals, but the Marshals are nowhere to be found. Crowds have knocked down the fence around the White House and are now literally surrounding the building, though they have no yet breached its walls. There's also the question of who will take over the CIC position, since most Congress-critters have vanished, and the Veep was captured and is being held in Maryland somewhere.

In Houston, a group of sympathetic refinery workers have taken over several of the refineries and started producing limited amounts of gasoline, but there is no orderly way to distribute it, and it is not nearly enough to supply the overwhelming demand.

Local TeeVee stations have been taken over in nearly every market and are broadcasting patriotic messages and information on groups who are organizing to supply various services, such as medical care, etc.

In NYC, the Federal Reserve building has been completely overrun and gutted. Dozens of bankster types have been arrested and are being held for trials, though lynch mobs have taken their toll.

Globally, markets have crashed. The EU is in tatters and international trade is running at a fraction of capacity. US embassies and military bases worldwide have been looted and destroyed, and hundreds of military personnel, stranded by the sudden collapse, have been taken prisoner in a great many countries. Media have carried news footage of people burning piles of dollar bills, since the currency has completely collapsed and the paper is worthless.

By week four, the CIC is captured trying to escape wearing an elaborate Hollywood-style prosthetic disguise. However, at the first sign of trouble, the security around him bolts and he is taken prisoner by the military.j

The entire world is in chaos, since so many markets and international trade operated on dollars. Practically overnight, millionaires and billionaires lose their entire fortunes. Commerce grinds to a trickle, causing riots and revolutions to flare up in dozens of countries. The entire command-and-control structure has nearly vanished in a month leaving the vast majority of folks completely clueless, while handfuls of people are desperately trying to establish some kind of order in various places, but the fever of the immediate situation is too powerful for them to be effective.

On the newly liberated media, scenes of people walking aimlessly through the streets clutching old photo albums or other mementos of their past lives are common. The stunned look in their eyes says it all. Even a month into the crisis, they are still unable to cope with the collapse of everything they once assumed to be permanent.

Now, what would you do? Are you prepared for events on this kind of scale? Besides mentally steeling yourself to deal with such things, what could you effectively do to safeguard you and your family in this kind of scenario?

To think this couldn't happen is naive. It has happened, not just in the USSR, but in countless societies throughout history. When the mighty fall, it is usually swift and decisive. Certianly, the USA is not stable. This is one possible scenario of dozens with more or less the same outcome. It behooves us to ponder such things in the worst case, if for no other reason than to prevent ourselves from panicking and thereby being useful to our loved ones.

How real is this possibility? One would have to assume that it is inevitable, though when and how are huge variables. Given the current state of world affairs, though, one would wisely assume sooner than later.

Providence always favors the prepared mind.

The Normalcy Bias

The one thing I hate about getting old is that time continues to speed up. I remember those lazy summer afternoons as a boy, when just a few hours seemed like half-frozen molasses running down a Vermont maple in the dead of winter. Now, the entire month of January slips by in the same amount of time. Just a few minutes ago, I was sitting with my wife and step-daughter at the local watering hole celebrating New Year's Eve...

But, that's not what I really wanted to talk about today, although it does fit in a back-door beggar sort of way.

Today is for something called the normalcy bias. This is the human predilection for assuming that everything is OK if everything within range of our senses is "normal."

The alarm went off at the appointed time. The cats started their usual song and dance around the food bowl, as usual. The mosques fired up the amplifiers at the established hour. The neighborhood exercise group began their morning warm-up more or less on time. My favorite bird launched into his morning aria without a moment's hesitation. The bread hawkers started circulating at the normal 6am.

It all just seems so damned normal. There can't possibly be anything wrong in the world, right? Everything I perceive with what's left of my senses is doing what it all should be doing. So what could possibly be wrong?

Just a quick browse through the headlines, though, let's me know that the senses can be fooled. The US military is positioning all its old stuff around the Red Sea and Straits of Hormuz. Obviously, they are begging to be attacked, so they've thrown all the toys that are set to be decommissioned into the area. Apparently, losing those toys won't make a difference, other than to give excuse to launch an attack. No word on the value of the lives on-board those toys, but we are left to assume that they are expendable, as well.

Meanwhile, China is buying up gold like it's going out of style. This is not a normal thing, at least in the sense that one announces it out loud. I mean, if you go to the bazaar to buy Persian rugs, you don't start by yelling at the top of your lungs that you'll buy any and all rugs right now. Makes it a bit hard to negotiate a good deal, I would think. They are obviously sending up flares to signal other folks about something.

We know that both China and India have told Iran they will continue to buy oil, using gold if need be, despite any sanctions. Both countries are dependent on Iran for significant amounts of their energy needs. So is Europe, but apparently they think they can make up the shortfall with their new prize called Libya.

Why gold? Well, a great majority of the world's Central Banks are locked into the control grid of western financial hegemony. Any significant cash transaction would have to be cleared through one of these branches of the Anglo-American hydra. That means they could freeze any transaction and effectively shut down Iranian oil sales to anyone anywhere. They've already frozen Iran's foreign cash reserves on deposit in Europe.

All sides of the China/India/Iran equation have a vested interest in using gold, which circumvents the whole currency problem and keeps the juice flowing. One small problem...how to transfer that amount of physical gold without OTHER parties getting their hands on it. You can be sure there are heated discussions going on in backrooms all over Asia on that topic.

The Zi-ican Empire has been beating war drums over Iran for 30 years now. They have said the same things for 30 years: Iran is a threat, Iran will attack any day now, it's almost too late to dust Iran. Why? Iran hasn't attacked another country in 300 years (the Iran-Iraq war was defensive on Iran's part). On top of that, western powers have directly meddled in Iran's internal affairs for the better part of a century (see Shah of Iran). All the nuke inspections have repeatedly said that Iran is NOT making weapons, and they are perfectly within their legal and moral rights to develop nuke power plants.

These points are all fine and good to ponder, but I hear you asking, "What does all this have to do with the normalcy bias?"

Well, ever since WWII, America has made a habit of attacking little countries far away that don't have a hope in hell of launching a counter-attack. I mean, seriously, Panama and Haiti weren't real threats, and neither was Iraq. Americans have gotten used to the fact that they can run around torching other people's homes with impunity. It seems perfectly normal, in a warped sort of MSM way.

Iran is not a normal case. To start with, they have some deep economic ties with such insignificant players as Russia and China. They also are fairly cozy with Venezuela and Brazil, which themselves supply a large part of America's go-juice. Just in economic terms, an attack on Iran would cause life to change rather suddenly and dramatically there in the Homeland (sieg heil!).

It wouldn't even have to be a direct retaliation. China could turn off the spigot of exports to the US, and POOF! No more iPads and Nikes. Hugo Chavez wouldn't take much convincing to turn off the hose running into US refineries. Neither would Brazil, which has a habit of meeting US BS with equal and opposite regulations. Russia, well...lot's of bad blood there, too.

The real problem is that Iran is not Haiti. They have an honest-to-God space program with rockets capable to achieving orbit. That means, just like Sputnik in 1958, that they can target pretty much anything but the far north reaches of Alaska. Iran also has submarines and a hellacious navy and a bunch of other hi-tech toys they've purchased from their trading partners. In other words, Iran is a serious target.

Like a neighborhood bully, the US hasn't directly confronted a real opponent since Germany in the Big War. They really haven't even won a war since then. Korea is still under a cease-fire. Vietnam was an unqualified loss. And no other country attacked by the US has signed Articles of Surrender since Japan.

Oh, sure, the Americans declared victory in Iraq and now we're pulling all our toys out, but I defy anyone to produce Articles of Surrender where Iraq gave up the fight. It stands to reason that Articles will never come out of Afghanistan, as well.

Haiti, Panama, Granada...anyone? Seen Articles of Surrender? Didn't think so...

Back to normalcy. Americans are pretty complacent. Sure, the official 9/11 conspiracy theory says that the Homeland (sieg heil) was directly attacked by outside forces, but any thinking person has serious doubts about that one. But since the War of 1812, no one (other than Mexican drug cartels) has attacked the US.

A war on Iran would certainly have all the ingredients to change that. Americans would do well to seriously consider the consequences before rallying the war dogs this time. This is not one of America's normal romps in the Third World.

The big hew and cry is that Iran MIGHT attack Israel at some indeterminate point in the foggy, vast future, and America must defend its little buddy, no matter what they do or to whom. Well, frankly, Israel is like that friend you had back in grade school. You know, the one who would poke, tweak and punch you all the damn time, but then laugh and say, "Hey, it's all just good fun, right?" It worked for a while, but eventually you got the point that this jerk didn't have your best interests at heart.

Maybe things seem normal in your immediate environment, but one of the things that separates humans from animals is that we have the mental horsepower to perceive things beyond our senses. We can reason through chains of events and play out scenarios before we take action.

If ever there was a time for Americans to rein in their government and take back control, this is it. There's going to be a lot of shocked faces when one day, the world fights back. It's one thing to run around taking over islands and tin pot dictatorships, but it's an entirely different matter to pick a fight with someone who can fight back.

Bullies always cry bloody murder when someone fights back. They are never prepared for that. Their normalcy bias is that everyone will just roll over and give up the milk money. At some point, though, someone always fights back. It's only a matter of time. It's the nature of bullies to enjoy inflicting pain, but they are shocked when they feel it.

Imagine someone flying regular bombing sorties over your neighborhood. Imagine drones and cruise missiles leveling downtown. Imagine roads and airports bombed into lunar landscapes. That's what America has done to many other nations. What happens when it gets some back?

There ain't nothing normal about the global situation at present. We would all do well to seriously ponder what we will allow our governments to do.

Put that in your bias and smoke it...

Burgers, Bees and Apocalypses

Let's start off with a little mental calisthenics. We'll use a common metaphor to see how we are controlled, corralled and channeled through a process called the dialectic.

Remember a few years back, a certain well-known burger chain had an ad campaign called, "Have it your way." There was a catchy jingle, and signs and posters. We were told that we could add and subtract anything we wanted to get the burger made 'our way.'

On the surface, this seemed like a great idea. It made us think we had endless choices and that we were free to select endless combinations that expressed our individual tastes and desires. The catchy song promised, "Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce, special orders don't upset us."

We were suddenly free! The Other Burger had only one possible combination. You either ordered it or you didn't. That was the choice. Now, we could mix and match and toss and turn and create a meal that was uniquely us. What could be more democratic and wonderful?

The part that was unspoken and that few people ever stopped to consider was that in the end, no matter how much you mixed and matched, it was still a burger. At some point, all the choices boiled down to two pieces of bread with a slab of questionable meat in the middle. In point of fact, we really had no choice. What we were presented as vast possibilities was actually just window dressing.

In a somewhat simplistic nutshell, this is the thing that everyone is talking about these days. Thsi is the System, the Matrix, the PTB, the Elite, the Command and Control Structure. On a very large scale, this is exactly how it all works.

On the surface, we are told that we have a myriad of personal choices. We have communities and peer groups and any of a dozen other descriptions of channels for molding our thinking. We think that democracy presents us with choices, so that the government we have is one that we have personally chosen for ourselves, and so we capitulate to it. No one ever stops to consider that it is all just one big album, with Side A and Side B. Both sides have different songs, but in the end, it is the same album in the same jacket played on the same turn-table.

You must either choose Devolvacan or Repulsicrat. There is no other choice. If you are a libertarian, socialist, communist, constitutionalist, ad nauseum, you don't get a choice. You are ridiculed and labelled 'extremist'. And the fun part is, even if you are among these 'fringe' groups, you are still herded because you self-identify with a pre-selected group. You are not allowed to cherry-pick from all of them, or create your own. You must pick a pre-selected definition for your political expression, and the parts you don't agree with, you must support because this is YOUR group.

The whole system of Command and Control began with religion. There was the standard doxology that was unchangeable. You could argue semantics all day long...did Jesus own his clothes? How many angels fit on the head of a pin? The answers to those questions were always engineered through a process called 'concensus,' that led us to believe that the majority agrees with this idea, so you must accept it.

At it's base, religion presented a core set of beliefs that you could not challenge. In the case of Western religion, there was One True God Who gave His Only Begotten Son, and on and on. You were not allowed to question this part. If you did, you were sentenced to 200 Hail Marys, lashing yourself with birch branches and attending First Friday Mass for a year.

All that has happened in the past couple thousand years is that those processes were adapted from religion into the secular State. Law, Democracy and Regulatory Agencies have replaced God, the Ten Commandments and the Church, but it is the identical system redressed to make people think they have thrown off the Old Ways and reformed society into the modern Nation-State.

A really good metaphor for how all this works is a bee hive. If you've ever had the chance to keep bees, it's really a fascinating hobby. Watching how they organize and go about their daily business can really open one's eyes to the world around us.

In general, bees are stratified into Queen, Drones and Workers. Within those layers are various specializations. For the most part, they all go about their individual tasks of collecting, building, refining, and serving the various parts of the hive. When times are really good, a small group will band together and create a new Queen. When they succeed, they are chased off to form another hive.

All this activity stops, though, when there is a threat from the outside. When an invader comes, the bees immediately drop into defense mode, with some protecting the Queen, others the brood, and still others directly attaching the intruder. But, puff a litte smoke into the hive and every singe bee, without exception will cling to the comb, become very docile, and will do only one thing...fan the comb with their wings. All other divisions and specializations and concerns fall away, and the hive performs a single-minded operation to protect the comb.

Now, replace the comb with the Structure of Society. The Queen and Drones are the Command and Control. The rest are we Workers who actually produce everything. In good times, there is sufficient free time for groups to sit around and plot the creation of a new Queen. But when a threat is introduced, we all drop every other concern and protect the comb, the Structure, regardless of how we feel about it in normal times.

The difference between the bees and us is that the Queen and Drones have figured out how to make the smoke without actually destroying the hive. We call it the War on Drugs, the War on Terror, the War on Boogeyman du Jour. Regardless of what we call it, it is nothing more than artificial threats to keep us busy defending the comb and not questioning what exactly we are doing and for whom.

We get so busy fanning the comb that it doesn't occur to us that the smoke is not from a real fire. We never consider the nature of the threat, only that the possibility exists for everything we know to be destroyed. It doesn't matter whether the things we know are good or bad, or even desirable. Our instinctual response is to protect it first, and ask questions later.

Out natural instincts have been perverted and used against us. Because most people never question their instincts, most of us never stop fanning long enough to look around for the fire. Those who do realize there are all the symptoms of fire, but no cause.

The threat message comes to us through all our senses. The media, our neighbors, the sights and smells around us. Somewhere deep in our brains, a trigger is flipped and we fall into blind obedience mode. Only those who are self-aware enough to recognize their base animal response and override it to analyze the cause, will be able to see what's going on.

Our 'fight or flight' responses are good and healthy, and serve a valuable purpose of keeping us alive. But if we don't control and analyze what we are doing, those natural responses can be perverted and used against us as a means of control, to keep us docile and unquestioning.

Let's say you are walking down the street. You turn a corner and see hundreds of panicked people running towards you. Your first response is a tingle up your spine. You muscles tense and your senses go into hyperdrive. You feel overwhelmingly compelled to join the herd and start running as fast as you can. At this point, you haven't seen any threat. All you've seen is other people's reactions.

It's at this very moment that you must choose. Do you follow the crowd, assuming they know something you don't, or do you wait a moment and assess the situation. If there is a threat, then all those other people may not be making the best choice. And if there is no threat, then there is no need for you to react at all.

On 9/11, 0.01 percent of the population was directly threatened, yet an entire nation, and by extension, the entire world, has been in a blind panic for more than a decade. People are finally starting to slow down and ask, "What the hell are we running from?"

Make no mistake. As soon as the effect starts to wear off, there will be another and another. The only way the mass of humanity can be controlled is to keep puffing smoke and keep us madly fanning the comb.

Threat after threat is manufactured. Global Warming, asteroids, terror, aliens, Y2K, 2012, etc. ad infinitem. All this is puffing smoke at us to keep us fanning. All it is, is a secularized version of the Second Coming. None of it ever actually happens, but the perceived threat is enough to keep us docile and clinging to the Structure that has been given to us.

Be warned, though. Humans can not maintain this level of threat alert forever. Eventually, they burn out or just stop running and actually look behind them. At some point, enough people start to question what they are running from, and after burn-out they no longer respond to further threats. It's the 'boy who cried wolf' syndrome.

What happens then? It's usually not pretty. That's when revolutions break out. That's when society convulsed and destroys itself, becoming the threat to itself that was once perceived as external. People don't usually react well to being played for fools, especially when it's been for the entertainment and benefit of someone else.

We are seeing this reaction beginning in a dozen places around the world. Riots, protests and revolts are the effect of people stopping to look around. We are seeing the 'boy who cried wolf' on a global scale. All of the threats that have been promulgated on us for so long are loosing their grip on our psyches. The result is a massive global upheaval, or something so large and so overwhelming will present itself as the new threat.

I can't help wonder if all the strange sounds being reported worldwide aren't part of the next Big Puff of Smoke.

Regardless, this time don't run. Stop for a minute and look around. Are you really being threatened?

Update: The Answer to America's Problems!

If you've been lurking about this blog long enough, you know that the weekends usually turn away from hard reality and pondering current events, to look at things of more esoteric and usually lighter fare.

Neptune

Last weekend, we pondered the year of the Water Dragon and the possibility that modern astrology could be the remnants of a much higher science, but that the true depth and breadth of it had long since been forgotten. We noted that the year of the Water Dragon implied change and unpredictability. It also favored group efforts and revelations of hidden things.

Today, we take a look at the western version, and find that there are some interesting correlations, which continue to imply some deeper understanding of the Universe waiting to be rediscovered.

Specifically, on February 3rd, the planet Neptune will enter the zodiac sign of Pisces, which is typically depicted as two fish in a kind of yin-yang configuration. The planet will stay in that sign for the next 13 or so years, since it moves rather slowly compared to us little rocks nearer the Sun.

What caught our eye initially was that Neptune was the Roman god of the sea, generally shown as a blue, bearded guy with a big trident spear sitting on a seashell throne. Furthermore, the sign of Pisces literally means 'fish' in Latin, and is generally considered a 'water' sign.

Just to draw a couple of preliminary dots together, we have a 'water' dragon, a 'sea god,' and 'fish' all appearing more or less together (Chinese New Year runs until Feb. 9) in two wildly different systems of astro-mancy. If we scratch the surface just a bit, we further find a connection with the ideas of unpredictability, group efforts and revelations.

From a graphic or symbolic point of view, Neptune's trident spear has certain elements in common with the Chinese dragon. The spear has a central long point with two shorter points angling out on either side. The Chinese dragon is traditionally shown with two large 'whiskers' coming out of either side of its snout. At the archetype level, this strikes us as being fairly consistent sybology.

The symbol for Pisces is also graphically identical with yin-yang, with the two fish swimming around each other in a way that is almost identical to the opposing white and black 'blobs and eyes' of the yin-yang symbol.

Now we don't know about you, but when we see multiple alignments of concepts, symbols and graphics across two very different systems of thought that developed at opposite ends of the Earth in ancient times, we tend to sit up, scootch the chair in a bit and start clicking.

We posited last week that something called hyperdimensional physics allows for all objects in the Universe to exist based on interference waves in a medium of some sort. In addition, those objects could influence each other across vast space-time by 'tweaking' vibrational templates, which were the foundation of what we call 'reality.' In other words, you are actually a variation on a template that creates something we typically call 'human being,' and that the influence of other objects in Universe at the time your template separated from your mother's template caused certain predispositions to be hard-wired into what we perceive as 'personality'.

In other words, we can begin to scientifically rationalize astrology as a degraded form of ancient science that was most likely far more accurate and able to precisely measure the vibrational influences on any given object from all other objects in the Universe at any given time and place.

And lest you poo-poo hyperdimensional physics, remember that it is remarkably predictive of actual observations in the Universe, is encoded in various ancient structures in widely different parts of the Earth, and is based on the work of people like Tesla and Maxwell. This is not your usual New Age hocus-pocus. It's serious stuff.

Furthermore, this new line of reasoning encompasses things like tortion, scalars, quaternions, the Electric Universe, and quantum physics. It appears to be the Holy Grail of physics in that it may quite possibly unite many lines of observation into a Grand Unified Theory of Everything.

And what's really cool, at least to our mind, is that it allows for things like astrology and crystals and pyramids. In fact, pyramids become expressions of four-dimensional objects. Crystals really do vibrate and cause subtle changes in local space-time. And astrology really can predict outcomes that have not yet happened.

Now don't get too excited here. We are definitely NOT saying all the clap-trap out there is true or correct, but there is a hard science in the early stages of development that sees all that as dimly remembered versions of a much higher form of mathematics.

Certainly no one in their right mind can deny that quantum physics is a real science. In fact, you are reading these very words on a machine that could not exist without some knowledge of how to engineer Planck's Constant or the Quantum Leap (which is actually one of the smallest measurable distances to our current technology).

Last week, we saw the implications for the coming year or more using the Chinese astrology. We talked about the Yang Wood Black Water Dragon, and what that meant in the ancient and still widely practiced Chinese tradition.

So, what does western astrology have to say about it? You'd be surprised at the correlations.

According to various sources, Neptune rules over the sign of Pisces, and so it is entering its own for the next decade and a half. It is names after the god of the sea, and so is naturally associated with water. Pisces, being fish, are also water signs. Wikipedia says that Neptune is associated with "idealism and compassion, but also with illusion, confusion, and deception." To our ears, this is starting to sound very similar to the description of a water dragon.

So how about Pisces? Words that come up repeatedly in reference to Pisces are kind, gentle, gullible, adventurous, energetic, and freedom-loving. Pisces favors creativity and impulsiveness. When tied together with the description of Neptune, we get the sense that the coming period will be one of chaotic events with a strong emphasis on liberty and idealism.

It intrigues us that the Chinese new year of the water dragon celebration ends on Feb. 9. Neptune the water planet enters Pisces the water sign on Feb. 3. Pisces becomes the dominant sign on Feb. 20. The 'dragon' moon begins in March. So this coming month or so is absolutely dominated by multiple concepts of water, unpredicability and revelation. That two very different systems should align in such a way is a remarkable coincidence, for those who believe in such things.

We see in all this a much deeper truth. Not that we believe in a bunch of new-agey mumbo-jumbo, or even astrology, but we can conceed with an open mind that there seems to be a much deeper connection going on here.

Certainly, if one squints at the headlines just so, the threads of liberty, unpredictability and creativity seem to be pervading current events. Water also seems to have its own sub-current in the general tone of the news.

We are certainly on alert for expressions of these concepts and symbols. We will be paying special attention to events that involve water, the use of symbols such as yin-yang and Pisces, and movements that involve freedom and creativity. We'll come back to revisit this topic as things warrant, because it bears closer study when multiple lines of evidence converge on a single time and place. At any rate, the next 6-8 weeks could be very interesting indeed.

One other curiosity, as far as astrology goes...on the US election day in November, Mercury will go retrograde about mid-day. This implies that folks will see a lot of unexpected changes, obstacles and frustrations with travel, communications and business.

Yep, it's going to be an interesting year. In China, that is a curse, but in Mandarin, the word for chaos means both disaster and opportunity. On the theory that the prepared mind is ready for anything, we should all be in good stead, then, to find the opportunity in all this.

The Camel's Nose

Birth, flares, gold, oil. Sounds like a Red Hot Chili Peppers come-back album. This week produced some big headlines. One was a real game-changer, but we'll get to that in a minute.

The Obama eligibility trial was a curiosity that I followed with some interest. That he is not qualified to be president I think has been proven beyond a doubt, since he himself has never hidden the fact. His (claimed) father was a British subject who never became a US citizen, or even resident. Obama is therefore disqualified from holding the office. Plain and simple.

The incident does belie Obama's contempt for the rule of law, even as the top enforcer in the land. Comments made by his attorney also show no respect for the sovereignty of the individual States, which is a fundamental aspect of the nation's Constitution. Those who argue that the Constitution is a dead letter forget that without it, the federal government ceases to exist except by fiat and force. In most dictionaries, that would be the definition of dictatorship.

The interesting thing about this story is that the religious fervor that surrounded Obama back in 2008 is fading rather dramatically. When he was elected, the world held its breath and one was required to genuflect and cross themselves when mentioning the name "Obama." This was a global phenomenon, especially here in Indonesia where he had citizenship for a few years, and may still, for all we know.

To say that his is a failed presidency is, I think, a fair estimate. Obama had not even warmed the seat in the Oval Office before they were giving him Peace Prizes. He has failed miserably at that particular measure.

What repercussions the Georgia hearing will have remains to be seen. Obama has successfully weaseled his way out of many such tight corners, though this is the first to actually get any evidence and testimony on record. The implications, should he ever be found lacking in the eligibility department, would be the vacating of every law he has signed since taking office, among a great number of other things. Something to watch.

The Sun woke up this week with a sizable puff of plasma and radiation that swarmed Earth's neighborhood and caused everything from enhanced aurora to minor communications hickups. At least one airline rerouted flights across the Arctic Circle to avoid any problems.

This will be an issue to watch throughout the year and into the next. So far, Sun Cycle 24 has proved to be fairly unusual, beginning as it did with a very quiet period that is only now seeming to end with a bang. There are numerous theories around tying sun spots to extreme weather, earthquakes and similar natural calamities.

The possibility always sits on the sidelines that a major X-class flare could put a quick end to civilization, seeing as how we are all tied to electronics and electricity. The Canadian blackout in the late 80s is but a small taste of what is possible. The Sun's behavior going forward for the next couple of years will definitely bear watching.

The Reputican primaries are notable only for the fact that they have degraded into a giant cat fight. The sheer amount of hissing and spitting and fur flying is great entertainment, but has little to offer in the way of substance, which I suppose is a metaphor for US politics anymore.

It has served to wipe Ron Paul out of the headlines, which I suppose is the real purpose. All the finger-pointing over who worshipped Reagan more is otherwise completely pointless and completely misses the fact that Reaganomics is a major factor in the current US economic situation. The world is suffering the results of the Reagan administration's policies. Any politician trying to out-Reagan another should be avoided at all costs, because they just don't get it.

Rand Paul has done a fine job of keeping the family name in print, though. He simply denied TSA the right to get intimate with his 'goodies.' What no one seems to have mentioned in all this, is that the TSA committed a felony by violating the Senator's Constitutional mandate to be able to go unmolested to Washington to attend to official business. Paul, on the other hand, did not commit any crime, since TSA's mandate is by fiat and not by law. They exist by law, but their supposed power has not been codified, and so they are acting as rogue agents without warrant.

Something to watch, if Daddy and Son Pauls decide to take it any further. Meat for the media grist, otherwise.

The biggest story of the week, and of year-to-date, comes out of my part of the world. India and Iran inked a deal for India to buy oil using gold.

Now you may be thinking, "What does this have to do with the price of tea in China?" Well, every country in the past twelve years that has dared to unhinge oil trade from the dollar benchmark has been invaded and demolished. Every...Single...One. Of course, it was all in the name of democracy and freedom, and in, "You will be free or we will kill you."

The root of the invasions have all been keeping the dollar standard in the oil trade. That is the one and only thing that is propping up the dollar. The world is absolutely dependent on oil for energy, and having the dollar as the global standard for buying oil keeps it in demand and at the center of global trade. If anyone, and by that I mean ANYONE dares to undermine that system, they must be destroyed.

The alternative is that the dollar crumbles under the weight of its debt, US hegemony vaporizes and the folks at home will revolt about ten minutes after the pump price hits $10 per gallon. There is simply too much riding on petro-dollars. The entire American Empire is built on this one simple fact.

Now, Iran is no problem. The west has been demonizing Iran since what?, the 1980 hostage situation, though western meddling in Persia dates back centuries. Bombing Iran into dust, or at least attempting to, won't be much of a problem from a propaganda point of view. If the western media said that Iranians were a bunch of 3-eyes monsters with six fingers and toes, most Americans would believe it.

The real nightmare here, at least from the Anglo-American elite perspective, is India. India has been painted as a strategic trade partner, and indeed, a great gob of US jobs have been shipped to India to keep it latched on the western teat. The country sits on the back porch of China and the US has at least one major military base on Diego Garcia, which is claimed by the British, but that is largely due to India not exercising its historical claim...so far.

The British, despite having lost India as a slave colony some time back, have maintained a 'guiding hand' in Indian affairs. This has served to balance China's ambitions in the region, which serves the western interests. That India is showing signs of independence and self-interest is dangerous to the western elite.

This one act has numerous implications, not the least of which are undermining US hegemony over oil trade (the dollar), providing Iran with very fungible and uncontrollable means to buy weaponry and technology, and re-establishes gold as a currency, which the western elite have worked tirelessly to stop over the past century.

You see, you can crash a paper currency if things get out of hand, leaving folks with little more than toilet paper if they don't toe the line. But you can't do that with gold. Everyone everywhere will accept gold at all times for trade. This is a dangerous precedent for those who would rule the world. It's even more insulting that India has been quietly turning its dollars into gold for decades, because simply put, in Asia gold is still king. Around these parts, wealth is not measured in piles of paper and digits, it is a function of how many pallets of gold one controls.

What is worth watching in this story is the way in which the western elite will handle it. Iran, of course, is already demonized, but what about India? If India can't be brought back under control, then it must be destroyed, because it is a key balance on China.

One sign that things are already getting out of control is the price of gold. It took a week or so, but the gold price has started up sharply again, after being reigned in for the past two months. If it is allowed to reach its natural level against fictions like Wall Street exchanges, it will be well over $2,000 an ounce soon.

This whole thing could be a catastrophe for the elite. If the gold-for-oil trade isn't soundly put down, and fast, then it could well catch on. By the end of the year, there could be similar agreements with Russian oil producers, and China certainly has the ability to buy its energy needs with gold from places such as Venezuela, Brazil, Indonesia, and others.

If the value of the dollar starts to fall sharply, which it has this week, then action is imminent. We will likely see an attack on Iran, at the minimum, within two months. But what happens if a dozen countries start down this path? The US/Nato doesn't have the where-with-all to mount that many war fronts at one time, and if it tried, it would simply hasten the outcome they are trying to avoid.

The student of global empire will want to closely watch this development. It slipped by rather quietly, but trust me, there are a lot of soiled shorts behind the curtain. A lot of countries are sitting up to see what will happen. The Fed move this week to keep the dollar interest rate at zero is a sign that they are desperately clinging to the dollar.

At the end of WWII, there were only two powers left standing: the US and USSR. The USSR has failed and the EU, which was set up to join the game, is failing. The only major power left is the US, and it stands on the dollar and the military power as its left and right legs. Kick either one out from under it, and the whole house of cards crashes.

Nato's Libya escapade (Qaddafi wanted gold for oil too) sucked the life-blood out of Greece, Italy, Spain, and the rest. They can't effectively shore up the US military weakness caused by dollar devaluation. At some point, the straw will come that breaks the camel's back. It is inevitable. Whether the Iran-India agreement is it remains to be seen. What is a fore-gone conclusion is that the western interests can not allow it to go on.

Might want to set up a news scanner for India/Iran/gold. There's liable to be some fireworks very soon. The Sun may not be the only source of radioactive flares in our near future.

Interesting article popped up on Drudge today saying that the number of US citizens renouncing their citizenship between 2008 and 2010 increased 1000-fold. In the first half of 2011, the number was running at over 1,000, which indicated a possible doubling over 2010 numbers.

According to the article, the primary reason given for this rather dramatic move was the IRS. It wasn't the level of taxes, which is bad enough, but the fact that the IRS lies to people about agreements it makes with them to settle past claims, and the overall nightmare that is known as the US Tax Code (code being the operative word here, since it is designed to keep anyone from knowing it).

Most folks don't realize that the US is the only country in the world that requires its citizens to file returns every year, regardless of whether they live and work in the US, or not. On top of that, new regulations require the revealing of every asset, bank account and financial holding a person has outside the US.

Oh sure, some will say, that's because so many rich people, like Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, hide their money in tax havens, and they need to 'pay their fair share.' Of course, the law doesn't affect people like that. They know what holes were written into the law to permit them to get away with hiding their assets.

If you know what you are doing, all you have to do is set up a couple of dummy corporations in the few remaining 'tax havens' and POOF! You money disappears off the IRS radar. Corporations know this and use it to their advantage, as well.

An example? A US corporation, we'll call it CorpX, registers in Delaware, which has lots of corp-friendly laws. It then sets up a wholly-owned shell corp in someplace like the Virgin Islands or one of the other Caribbean ghost nations. It hangs out a shingle and pays some lawyer to get mail dropped at his office. The shell corp then does business around the world. Through accounting quackery, all profits are offshored in low-tax jurisdictions, while all losses are repatriated to the mother corp, which then uses them to offset income and avoid taxes at home.

This is how massive corporations with billions in income pay absolutely no taxes in the US, even though they are US-registered entities.

But this is off track a little. They point here is that the tax code has become so onerous and heinous that people are literally forced to renounce their citizenship in order to stay out of bankruptcy due to tax burdens. They little guy doesn't know or can't afford all the little comforts written into the code to protect the Big Guys.

The fact is that most expats pay taxes on income in the jurisdiction where they live, and most countries leave their citizens alone when they live outside the home jurisdiction. Not the US. It's long arm reaches out, and even when the expat doesn't owe taxes, due to local payment and tax treaty provisions, the IRS still wants paperwork. If you don't know all the thousands of applicable rules, you are liable to quite easily miss one or two (hundred). And when you do, the IRS comes down like vultures on a rotting carcass and eat you alive with penaties and fines and other fun things.

Of course, even renouncing citizenship doesn't protect you. The US Code provides that any and all taxes and penalties that were due up to the point a person dropped their citizenship are still due in perpetuity. Believe me, you made a mistake somewhere and they will hold it againt you until you die. And then they'll take it from your heirs.

The mafia only wishes it had the 'power' and thuggery available to that bunch of thieves.

Recently, Indonesia strengthened its laws regarding citizens living and working abroad. Any income they receive while working outside the country is not reportable at home, as long as it is taxed in the foreign jurisdiction. It also allows folks to discontinue their NPWP, which is the local version of the Social Security Number (SSN) for a variety of reasons, including extended stays outside the country. Granted there's a pretty stiff set of requirements, including an immediate audit by the tax man, but try that under any circumstances with an SSN. You are virtually branded in the US at birth and can not extract yourself for any reason. Even residents in the US who get an SSN while they are living and working in that country are stuck with it for life, and the IRS can and will come after their income and assets anywhere in the world.

I wouldn't have such a great problem with all this, except the code is written to protect the Big Guys and shaft the little guys. The BGs pay little or no taxes by playing 'hide the sausage' in various jurisdictions and through various entities. The LGs are the ones who get the sausage broken off on the relative pittance that they earn, and the pitiful bank accounts and occasional beach house in Tahiti.

If ExxonMobil or GlaxoWellcome or Citibank paid their 'fair share,' I'd feel a lot better about getting stiffed. But when the burden rests on us little guys because the Big Guys lobby their way out of billions in liabilities, it rubs salt in the wound.

All taxes anywhere are a sham. After all, what exactly has any government ever done to help you make money? All I have ever witnessed anywhere in the world are a bunch of lazy do-nothings on the public teat sucking my life-blood for...what? Does the government make any laws that help you or me earn a living? Au contraire. Does government protect us from predatory practices that threaten our livelihoods? Banish the thought...they are a major part of the problem. Does government do anything at all to aid and abet us little guys in creating and amassing wealth? Hahahaha!

So just exactly what are we paying all these taxes for? What services do they render us? What benefit do they buy us? In fact, outside of paying a bunch of lard-assed bureaucrats, bloated militaries and non-productive members of society, what do we get for all the trouble and money we go through to pay our 'fair share?'

Apparently, there are a couple of thousand people a year, and growing, who think that at least one country is so screwed up that it is easier to switch citizenship than fight the corruption and greed at home. That's a sure sign of a sick system.

Having paid taxes in a few countries, I know that most have a fairly straight-forward system with a single-page form. It takes all of a few minutes to work up your annual dues and settle up. I have never had to file less than ten pages in the US, and it takes the better part of a week or two to calculate and re-check everything before filing (God help you if you make a mistake).

What makes it even more egregious is that the IRS is nothing more than the collection arm for a private banking cartel called the Federal Reserve. Sorry, but none of your taxes is paid to the US Treasury. US citizens spend all that time and effort and money on tax preparation firms to pay back the Fed for all the money Congress has borrowed.

And here's the Big Problem...the US debt stands at around $15 trillion dollars, and there's not nearly enough money in circulation to ever pay it back. It's an eternal game of 'bend over the barrel,' and we're on the receiving end. Come next April 15th, remember whose fault it is that has caused you so much pain. It was Congress who set up the Fed and Congress who borrowed the money and stuck you with the bill.

It's enough to make a guy want to renounce his citizenship. Glad I'm a Texian!

Quantum Leaps And Water Dragons

A long time ago, I dismissed astrology as being a pseudo-science based on various superstitions and a certain amount of ignorance. I always acknowledged, though, that it often had an uncanny way of generally describing people's characters and constitutions. I more or less wrote that off as a combination of luck and prejudice, in that reading astrological descriptions predisposed one to see patterns where they did not exist.

Like every topic, I make decisions and form opinions, but I never close my mind to new evidence and understanding. If new evidence engenders deeper understanding of a topic, and the understanding leads to a change of opinion, I have not shied away from following where the evidence leads.

That being said, I have moved in recent years to re-evaluate astrology. Where I once saw superstition and myth, I now see a severely degraded form of ancient science that preserves an understanding of the Universe that is far more profound than our current best guesses. This doesn't mean that I now believe in astrology, but rather that I see within it the glimpse of a greater truth that has been lost over countless millennia.

Once I discovered hyperdimensional physics, I immediately saw something that rang true. It answered questions that relativity left hanging in space (literally and figuratively). This new physics explained much more satisfactorily physical phenomena that caused relativists and quantists to throw up their hands or worse, develop gross contortions of mathematics to shoehorn into their theories.

Hyperdimensional physics offers graceful answers to profound mysteries, and as we are about to see, even unites ancient myths and legends into a scientific framework.

Hyperdimensional physics posits that all matter consists of unique vibrations within a medium. The medium, whether you call it the aether or space-time, is basically a lattice or crystalline structure. The vibrations, like stones thrown in a pond, create ripples, and where they overlap, they create patterns of standing waves that we perceive as matter or substance. Granted, this is a very simplified definition, but it serves the purpose at hand.

The interference patterns we perceive as objects are formed by 'templates,' or a type of recording of the pattern. Thus, the template for 'planet' creates round balls, but subtle variations create gas giants or small rocky balls, wet or dry, hot or cold. In the same way, the template for 'person' creates the same general result, but variations create individuals in infinite variety.

Now, if we view all objects in the Universe as vibrations, then they are allowed to influence each other, to greater or lesser degrees, by creating slight variations in other templates. In other words, all objects in the Universe influence all other objects to some degree, which is a key element of quantum physics.

It also allows another strange effect in quantum physics. When you place two sub-atomic objects together, they will begin to resonate together. Then, you can separate the two objects by any amount of space, and a change in one will immediately affect the other. Vibrations in a crystalline medium is a graceful means to account for this otherwise very strange behavior.

So, where is all this going? Glad you asked.

Astrology posits that the positions of stars and planets at the time of one's birth cause certain effects in the individual. The positions of stars implant certain personality traits, and the positions of the planets influence the expression of these traits. On the surface, this sounds like a bunch of superstitious bunk, but if we apply the math of hyperdimensional physics, then suddenly we see vibrations in the Universe around us causing subtle modifications in our personal templates that would vary according to which objects were where at the moment of our birth.

That birth would be the moment that these changes in our templates freeze makes sense, since up to that moment, we were vibrating synchronously with our mothers. At the moment of birth, we become established as our own, independent vibration in the Universe.

Therefore, astrology is an attempt to describe the vivrational influences on individuals, groups or really any object, by determining what objects were in a position to modify our template at a certain moment.

That hyperdimensional physics is a mathematical system and it is engineerable, it stands to reason that if there were once a highly developed civilization on Earth that was able to calculate these vibrations to a high degree of accuracy, astrology could be a very degraded dim memory of that ancient physical knowledge. Therefore, it might have some validity, though the precise knowledge of how to manipulate this information has been lost over the vast span of time.

In Western astrology, we talk about the influences of various constellations on the individual. We determine the zodiac by which astralism is directly overhead at midnight each day. This varies on an annual basis as the Earth's orbit brings a different constellation overhead each month. The positions of the planets at any given moment further modify the influence and changes constantly with near infinite combinations.

By contrast, the Eastern system sees the constellations ruling over an entire year, with daily and monthly variations. In addition, the annual cycle has a 60-year supercycle based on the five primal elements (earth, metal, fire, water, wood). This new year is the year of the dragon, just like the year 2000, but there's a variation making this the year of the water dragon. Furthermore, years alternate between yin and yang, with this year being 'yang.' We are also at the end of the 'wood' cycle, the next being 'fire.'

Based on our suppositions earlier, that astrology is a degraded ancient science, then we can perhaps tease out some insight, some truth, about what influences will affect humanity over the coming year. To do that, we need to know what a 'yang wood black water dragon' implies, so we turn to the Google oracle.

The first thing we need to know is the 'yang' part. Yin and yang concern balance and harmony. They are opposites, but dependent on each other to exist. Yang means 'sunny' or 'place of light'. It does not have a value judgement, such as 'good' and 'bad,' it is simply the other side of something that causes it to exist.

The dragon, or naga (origin of naga-hide), is the mirror opposite of its western counterpart. In Eastern myth, the dragon symbolizes good fortune, luck, and divine power and authority. In other words, it is a positive sign and one which implies benign regality and favorable disposition. On the other hand, the dragon does not comform to expectations and prefers to 'do its own thing.'

Dragons rule over south/southeast, thunder and lightning, and the hours of 7-9 am. They are also the embodiment of creativity.

In Eastern mythology, dragons prefer water, so we can assume that a water dragon is in its element. The last waterr dragon year was 1952. The new year will begin on Monday, January 23rd, and the celebration will last until February 9th. The high point of the year's energies will be the 'dragon moon,' from May 20th until June 18.

What we're looking at here is a year of highly unpredictable events that will favor south/southeast and bring light to those regions. Wood is fed and made stronger by water, so there will be growth and strengthening, but what will grow and strength is unknown, since the unpredictability leaves that part up in the air, as it were, though yang will influence that part.

This coming year will favor passion, creativity, self-development, and working together. Like all things, though, these can be both good and bad. The balance will be tipped towards light by the yang, but the dragon nature will allow tempers to flare and unpredictable outcomes to occur. The water dragon favors seeing arguments from all points of view and taking advice from others when making decisions, so there's a predilection for more balance and better conclusions.

All in all, it should be an interesting year with many twists and turns in events. Outcomes will favor light and creativity and working together. There are many positive aspects for those seeking a change in direction and new paths.

There's no guarantees in Chinese astrology. There's only favorable influences for certain outcomes. For those of us hoping for favorable outcomes to economic and socio-political concerns, there are enhanced vibrations from Universe, but the chaotic aspect means things can go either way. After all, luck and fortune all depend on perspective. One man's luck is another's curse. A lot will depend on working together and bringing things to the light. Many secrets could be revealed.

All things east are favored, which means I'm in the right place for a little luck. But it also means that 'east' will figure heavily into the chaotic element of events. Keep your eye on China and Russia. Who knows what will happen?

Or it could all be just a bunch of myths and pseudo-science. Take your pick.

The interesting thing is that eastern dragons share a lot of characteristics with the behavior of quantum objects. They can never be fully observed, as looking at it limits it to what the observer is expecting to see. They are also chaotic and unpredictable. It's interesting to ponder what aspects of dragons are dimly remembered science from a long, long time ago.

Strawmen And Tar Babies

I've been getting some really great email the past couple of weeks. Thanks to henrymakow.com, rense.com and davidicke.com picking up one of my articles, my readership has nearly doubled and folks are sending in great messages. I only wish I could answer them faster.

"The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it."

One reader asked me if I believed in Atlantis. Gosh, he's in trouble. Questions like that can fill books with responses. The short answer is yes. The longer answer is that as a concept of a Golden Age, I believe there is a preponderance of evidence for at least one, if not more, highly advanced civilizations that inhabited at least Earth, and probably the Moon, Mars and one or more moons of Saturn. The dates would be around 65 million years ago and 3 million years ago. We are all that's left of the last one.

I could go on at length on this question. The answer is rather fascinating, at least to me. But there was another email that I thought was more immediate, and somewhat easier to answer:

"Obviously you have experienced all of this first hand having been persecuted in your own country.
If I was to ask you honestly. Do you think they can be brought down? And how can we bring this about?
I am personally experiencing a lot of despair and flashing anger right now. My emotions are all over the place and I need to focus on something positive that I can and should be doing.
Any suggestions would be welcome."

To address the experience part, I'd have to say yes, I've had quite a bit. Not as much as some, but more than others. I've learned a few thing, at any rate.

The second part is where it gets interesting.

Yes, they can be brought down. In fact, they are coming down even as we speak. Not that it's entirely work of activists, to be sure. They are being defeated by the one thing they can't accept: the Laws of Nature.

You can't go around defying the balance and harmony of the Universe forever. At some point, no matter how smart, or rich, or cunning you think you are, the piper will get paid. There's just no two ways about it. Everything they are doing has been tried over and over throughout history, and in ever single case, without exception, it has failed. Slavery, fiat economies and elitist centralized power have always collapsed under their own weight. That they keep trying despite this record shows that they are completely and hopelessly insane, to boot.

I assume the question at hand is how can we help things along to quicken the pace of Nature's own accounting system.

In the old days, folks just showed up with pitchforks and torches and a few lengths of rope, and hung the bastards out to dry (see French Revolution). In the current age, they have been using highly sophisticated mass mind-control techniques for a long time. Any violent acts on the part of regular folks will not be met with favorable response from any side.

In fact, it would only serve their purposes. They are begging for us to do that, and in fact are doing everything they can to elicit that kind of response. It would distract and divide us, which is a well-worn tactic, and would keep us from actually seeing their Achilles' Heel. That's exactly what they want.

They have spent a couple of centuries weaving a massive tapestry that we generally call 'daily life'. They have pulled this thing down over our eyes and beat it into us so well that a great many folks can't imagine any alternative. A lot of us honestly believe that if we don't play their game, that civilization will collapse.

I've got news for you. It IS collapsing, and all because of what they have done to us.

The thinking person will see that we honestly have nothing to lose now. We have no wealth, only debt notes for money. We have no property. Stop paying your taxes and you will find out rather quickly who owns your stuff (and it ain't you). You'd have to move pretty far out in the wilderness to escape the madness, and even then you'd eventually have park rangers crawling up your keister.

So how do you fight this Beast? How can you help to accelerate its collapse without violence and in a way that most folks can't fault you for doing? The answer is deceptively simple:

Stop playing the game.

We are living in a massive casino being run by a mafia. The first rule of gambling is the house ALWAYS wins. The second rule is they make money because people keep gambling, despite knowing the first rule. The only way to really win in a casino is to not play in the first place. If enough people do this, then the casino is forced to shut down because revenues are not enough to cover costs.

This is one way to look at things, and its enough to start the process, but there is a better way that's more complex and daunting. When folks begin to ponder the size of the problem, they usually get turned off from fighting and give in to what they view as inevitable servitude. It doesn't have to be that way, but it does take a fair amount of work to be successful.

In the past, a number of people have had varying amounts of success using the strawman theory. In order to do this correctly requires hours and hours of study to learn how the law works, and then begin extracting yourself from it. This was the approach I chose, and I got pretty good at it. I won many cases and had lots of successes. However, they have backup systems for people like me. They have Child Protection Service, which is so grossly misnamed as to nearly be laughable if it weren't so serious. They are granted the power to kidnap your children at will, based on the flimsiest of excuses, and hold them for ransom. The ransom usually involves you bowing to the system and paying your last dollar to them, otherwise they will kill your children, either mentally or physically. That's just one technique, but it's very common in cases like mine.

The scale of the problem is both the problem itself, and the solution, too. Here's the thing: every aspect of what we call daily life is part of the system. They have carefully hooked us on gee-gaws an baubbles so that we can't imagine living without them. They have carefully built the system to be self-enforcing. If you want one thing, it requires another to make it useful, and the second thing requires others, and so on.

The car is very useful, but it requires financing, fuel, service, and so on. If you want the car and the services it can provide, then you must also buy into a dozen other ancillary services to make it work, including licenses, inspections and other regulatory bullshit (at least that's what they would have us believe).

At the base of it all is this thing called money, but more properly currency, and they aren't the same. For any and all of the services and baubles that we desire, we have to use currency. Now the currency is nothing more than paper and ink. It has little or no intrinsic value. Every bit of value that it carries is strictly in our minds and in what we are told.

We believe we need government, and the government requires taxes, and to pay the taxes requires a certain currency. So it becomes a self-reinforcing circle jerk. That the currency also gets us various other benefits helps to shore up the perception that the paper and ink has some kind of value. In the end, all it does is keep us enslaved to the system at the business end of a gun.

Hardly freedom by my standard.

Given the scope and scale of this problem, it's hard to imagine where to start, if your want to extract yourself. There is no magic bullet and no single method is all-powerful. You have to back out the way you got in, one piece at a time. You started with a birth certificate, worked up to a taxpayer number, a driver's license, investments and bank accounts, etc. That's how you get out.

You have to unwind what has been wound. Start by closing bank accounts. Really. You can cash paychecks at the issuing bank for free. Get a small safe for your house, and start keeping you money there. Believe me, you won't be losing anything, given the interest rates, and you'll save money from all the damn service charges.

Got a 401(k) or other retirement account? At the very least, stop contributing to it. If you can, shut it down, take the penalty hit, and put the cash in your safe.

When your driver's license expires (make sure it expires), don't renew it. As an alternative, use a passport for official photo ID. Better yet, just carry a nortarized copy of your birth certificate. Perfectly legal ID pretty much everywhere I've ever been. Driver's licenses usually issue a single number for life. Passports change every ten years. Not perfect, but better than nothing.

Stop buying new things at major department stores. Instead, start payig cash for second-hand. Takes a little extra time, but your purchase won't enrich a corporation any further than the original purchase already did. Start a garden and learn to can foods. Reduce your store purchases of food as low as possible. When you can, buy from local co-ops and farmer's markets. By-pass the institutional system and give your money directly to the guy growing the food.

Reduce your cash transactions as much as you can. Barter, trade and find creative ways to exchange that don't involve using currency. Worse case scenario, use gold and silver coins for trade whenever possible.

If you're really ambitious, start looking into allodial title to your land. In Texas, once your have this title, you no longer have to pay property taxes. This is much harder to do with property in cities that are incorporated, but with farm land and such, it's a fairly straight-forward process, though time consuming. And you will meet with a lot of official resistance and outright oppression. That's when you know you're on the right track.

In Texas, you're allowed to carry a gun, open or concealed, if you are traveling. I kept a suitcase in the back of my car. Who's to say I'm not on my way out of town? Yes, you'll still have to fight, because so-called law enforcement officers are clueless about the law. But at least in court, you can produce the letter of the law and get the case dismissed.

These are just some ideas for those serious about getting out of the system, or at least causing enough stress to it to accelerate its demise. Granted, none of these are very effective if only a handful of people do them. But if thousands, and even millions start fighting back, things will change rather quickly. Simply closing out your bank accounts is very effective in stressing the system. I'm not advocating bank runs here, I am talking about an orderly process of shutting down the accounts, emptying safe deposit boxes and refusing to feed the Beast.

The important part of this whole exercise is to start becoming aware of just how the matrix is constructed and by what means it entraps us. You can't escape from a prison until you know where the walls are. You can't pick a lock until you know how it works and can fully visualize what you are doing inside.

Notice that none of the things I have mentioned involve violence or protests. They are simply adjusting how you go about your daily life. It's taken your entire liife to get tangled up in this mess, so don't think you can get out without some effort on your part.

Like all habits, though, once you start changing the way you do things, it doesn't take long for it to become a habit and you hardly notice the effort anymore. In fact, like any habit, the longer you go at it, the more you will automatically streamline the process. You can expect disruptions at first, but they eventually smooth out.

Most importantly, you must keep in mind that the system will fight back. It doesn't like even one person having success, because it leads to others following suit. You must be prepared mentally and spiritually to fight. Notice I didn't say physically...that doesn't matter, although good health is always a good idea.

One final note. As you wake up, and others too, you will experience anger, depression, hopelessness, and frustration. These are natural, because you have been sorely deceived by people and institutions you trust implicitly. Channel these feelings into educating yourself and others. Learn what you have done to get here, and the path back will become obvious.

The reason the bastards are trying so hard to shut down the internet is because it has gotten away from them. They never envisioned it becoming a means for people to educate and activate. They are desperate. That shows we're winning. With that in mind, it's much easier to push ahead.

The time is coming fast. We must prepare ourselves inside and out for what lies ahead. It's not enough to end the slavery that has held us for centuries, we must be ready with something to replace it when it's gone. This is more important than any other consideration, because the system is collapsing under its own weight. We have to decide collectively what we will do when it's gone. For that, we need to know history and truth.

And that's the real trick.

The Philosopher's Stone

Got a note from one of our good and faithful readers over in the Land of Keystones, and she asks a very interesting question that we should ponder:

"What fascinates me more than anything, is what in the hell do they plan on doing with all the gold? Who really cares about gold, it is no longer the standard thanks to Tricky Dick. Where is the gold and all the paper money that has disappeared. We can live without it if we have to. "

Indeed, what is it about gold? Why all the fuss over it and what should we care? Very profound questions, and maybe we can tease out some good answers to go with them.

Gold is one of the eight platinum group metals, or PGMs. The group includes gold, silver, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium, iridium, and palladium. The elemental symbol for gold is Au, which comes from the Latin name aurum.

"What fascinates me more than anything, is what in the hell do they plan on doing with all the gold? Who really cares about gold, it is no longer the standard thanks to Tricky Dick. Where is the gold and all the paper money that has disappeared. We can live without it if we have to."

Gold has been used as a medium of exchange (money) for about 6,000 years, in various cultures and at various times. During the First Depression, the US stopped using the actual metal for money, but kept it as a benchmark for the paper currency. Under Nixon, the Breton Woods II agreement was instituted, and the dollar was removed from the gold standard and allowed to float against a basket of currencies. Since that time, gold has been primarily used to store wealth in sovereign funds, though that practice has slowly ebbed, as well.

The question at hand, though, is why is gold valuable? What makes it so popular as a store of wealth? A damn good question. Let's take a stab at it, shall we?

The simple answer involves some of the intrinsic qualities of gold that most people are familiar with. It is an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. I can be hammered to the point that it is little more than a couple of atoms thick, making it fun to work with in art. It doesn't oxidize and there is little that will corrode it, so gold has been used for millennia to cover things that need preserving. It is bright and shiny, which attracts our monkey minds, and its softness makes it ideal for use as jewelry. It can even be powdered and used as makeup, which was very popular with ancient Egyptians.

Circumpunct

Gold doesn't react to our bodies, and so has been used to fill teeth, cover sores and ingested for its health effects. It is considered to be one of the more effective treatments for rheumatoid arthritis and other joint problems. Many medical implants use some amount of gold, because it is non-reactive and non-corroding.

In electronics, gold is considered the best material for wiring and nearly loss-less transmission of signals, though the cost is fairly prohibitive. If anyone has a mind to it, the Moon landing vehicles used a lot of gold in the electronics to ensure against faults and failures.

Monetarily, gold has a number of advantages. It is debt free, since it generally involves a significant effort to mine and purify it, so there is an intrinsic value to it. This is enhanced by its relative scarcity. As any student of economics knows, the more rare something is, the higher the value, in most cases. Because it doesn't corrode or oxidize, it makes an ideal medium for storing value, as well. A gold coin buried in the backyard will shine right up even a thousand years later. It's also damned hard to counterfeit, which we'll discuss further in a moment. All in all, it makes rather idea money in every way, except that it's rather heavy and awkward to carry around in significant amounts (which is one reason paper money came into existence).

Gold has a long symbolic and esoteric history, as well. In fact, one could say that it has a lot of magic in it. Gold has always been equated with the Sun. In fact, the alchemical symbol for gold is the same as that of the Sun, commonly called the 'circumpunct.'

This small data point would be easy to write off. We could say that in the old days, the common belief was that the Sun was actually a giant ball of gold, and that the gold found on Earth were literally drops of sunshine. And that would be true if we only considered the popular (and generally uneducated) mythologies. But there's a lot more to it.

If you take a human brain and boil away all the cholesterol, which makes up about 95% of the mass, you'd be left with a small amount of platinum group metals, specifically platinum, iridium and gold. This is what makes the brain work. The organ is little more than millions of electrical arcs firing off in just the right way to create thoughts. Having good conductors in it would certainly facilitate that process.

In recent years, there have been amazing strides in treating brain cancers with platinum solutions. Injected into the tumors, it has a nearly immediate effect. One of the side effects is enhanced brain function, as well. Related to that, colloidal gold has been used for centuries as a cure for problems with the nervous system and for overall health.

One other point that we must keep in mind is that the Sun has been a symbol in occult circles for illumination. By that, I don't mean light to see by, but inner light...wisdom...enlightenment.

So, we have gold and platinum group metals with health effects. We have the Sun being associated with gold and enlightenment. We have an ancient occult symbol that means both gold and the Sun. But wait! There's more.

When gold is heated to, if I remember correctly, 8,000F, it turns to a whitish powder commonly called monatomic gold. This substance has another name...the Philosopher's Stone. It has been used for millennia by occult initiates. The Egyptians said that it was food for the soul and paved the path to enlightenment and extremely good health and longetivity.

Philosopher's Stone has many other very unusual properties. For one thing, to make it, you must heat the gold to 8,000F, as I mentioned. At around 70 seconds, there's an extremely bright flash and the gold suddenly turns to white powder. What's more interesting, if you weight the powder and the crucible together before and after, the entire thing weighs far less than the weight of the crucible alone. If you take the powder out of the crucible, it returns to it's normal weight. In others words, the powder is a super-conductor that repels the Earth's magnetic field and causes it, and anything that contains it, to resist gravity.

The modern re-discovery of this material was in the early 20th century, by an archaeologist named Petrie. He found a 'factory' for making Philosopher's Stone at the top of Mount Horeb, which is in which country? Why, Iraq, of course. He also found a bunch of clay tablets, whose contents I've never been able to find, but which were stolen from the National Museum at the beginning of the Iraq War. Gosh, go figure...

At any rate, it is said that ingesting Philosopher's Stone puts your brain into hyperdrive. People report having amazing powers of concentration and insight. In addition, it is said to impart incredibly good health and long life, though I haven't found any information on how long one might expect to live. Perhaps those using it are still waiting to die?

There's much, much more to this story, and I highly encourage folks to look it up. It is quite fascinating. To put the point on it, though, we can begin to see why gold is considered so valuable, in fact far more so than market prices would imply. It also gives us insight into why alchemists wanted to turn base metals into gold. I have to say, though, that Ron Paul's idea of returning to the gold standard is rather naive. The bankster class has just as much control over the gold supply as they do over paper money and debt. The gold standard wouldn't remove the problem, it would only exchange the medium by which we are enslaved. There are far more and better alternatives.

I've never had the chance to try Philosopher's Stone, though I would leap at the opportunity. The little I know about it I find very intriguing. There are many properties of gold that are just now being rediscovered after centuries of being lost, at least to the lay folks. But it is easy to see why it has been so highly prized for all of recorded history...and then some.

If I just had an oven that I could preheat to 8,000 degrees...

Plus the network time with hundreds of folks to set up and run the thing across the country, plus a couple of hundred journalists pumping out thousands of column inches, plus ticket sales plus ancillary sales plus plus plus

All for one football game...

Imagine what all that effort could have achieved if it were focused on, oh, I don't know...the ECONOMY, SOCIAL PROBLEMS, ELECTING DECENT PEOPLE TO OFFICE?

93 million man-hours.

What's the bet it didn't take that much effort to build the Great Pyramid or the Great Wall of China? I know it didn't take that much to build the space station or put men on the Moon. And all of it literally pissed away on a football game.

It's astounding, really.

At some point, probably next week, though I'm not sure, this will all culminate in something called the Super Bowl, which despite the name, does not involve feeding hungry people. Nope. Even more time and energy and effort will be pissed away on yet another football game.

With that kind of waste, one could easily say that America deserves everything that's coming at it. That a nation could waste such vast amounts of time and resources on something as trivial as a bunch of pituitary cases slamming each other into the ground boggles the mind. It can only mean that every person that still has a house to live in was watching the game, and if not, they were watching something even more insipid (if that's even possible) called the Miss Something-or-other Silicone and Botox Showcase.

It's maddening, really. Our entire civilization is crumbling around us and all people can do is plant their fat, drunken asses on a couch and completely zone out, stirring only to empty the bladder and refill it. Nero Agrippa would be so proud to see that modern Caesars have perfected the bread and circuses. People spent more time this weekend worrying whether that was a fair catch, than whether the legal system is fair. They spent inordinate amounts of time worrying about a penalty call on their favorite piles of meat, than cops killing 8th graders. They spent gobs more time worrying about the quarterback's passing record than Bammy's human rights record.

Dear God, do us all a favor and bring on the Second Coming. There's little left of human compassion and higher reasoning and high culture down here.

A big part of the problem with America was highlighted by a friend a while back who went home for a visit. You see, here in Indonesia, everyone spends their time outside visitng with neighbors, doing chores, playing in the park. Everyone knows their neighbors (which can be a blessing and curse, really). But back home, he said, the streets were virtually deserted. Not anything unusual, just the normal course of things. No one goes outside. There's little or no social interaction. People lock themselves in gilded prisons and suck up electrons. If it doesn't plug in, it isn't real. And that goes for everything from cooking to sex.

The west has completely lost it. Folks not only can't distinguish between reality and cyber worlds, they can't properly prioritize anything any more. When a nation invests 93 MILLION man-hours in a game, but can't lift a finger to fight injustice, creeping dictatorships and a dying economy, then they really don't deserve anything better.

Don't get me wrong, it ain't all peaches and cream in the east, either. Over here it's Korean boy/girl bands and anime hair styles and gaudy consumerism is slowly sliding in to cultures that have never really had thriving middle classes. It's still in the nascent stages here and there's time to stop it, but I'm not holding my breath. The Madison Ave a$$holes have made a fine art out of getting you to buy crap you don't need to project images to people who don't care to achieve status that means nothing.

I've known multi-millionaires who live in humble houses and drive used cars, and I've known credit card queens who live like Solomon in all his glory, but own nothing. The happy ones are always the humble ones. They don't worry about a lot of hooey to impress people who don't care.

The Romans perfected an architectural technique called facadeism. In fact, Indonesians are pretty good at it too. They could sculpt anything from concrete. You could live in a cardboard shack, but the front would look like the pharaoh's summer house. It's more commonly called making silk purses from sow's ears. That is Madicon Ave in a nutshell.

I crave the day when I see a headline like, "TeeVee viewership at all-time lows!" But somehow, I don't think that will happen in my lifetime. That people waste so much time on such a passive occupation in a zombie-like state is very telling of our society today. It's almost comical how many people do solitary things en masse. The sheer lunacy of it all would have me rolling on the floor laughing if the world weren't in such a state of affairs.

What will it take to get folks to focus that much attention on something that matters? I'm rather afraid of the answer.

The Real Playoffs Ain't On TeeVee

Looking at Drudge this afternoon was such a prime example of fiddling while Rome burns (almost literally). S&P cut the credit ratings of nine European nations, including France. Bammy wants another $1.2 TRILLION debt ceiling hike. The US Navy is swarming all over the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Hormuz begging for a fight. And what's the top story?

The playoffs.

It just made me slap my head. It's all about Brady's workouts and Tebow's 'hail Marys' and the largest-ever audience for a playoff game. Excuse the French, but who gives a shit?

It's not really surprising. The hey-day of Hollywood was the depths of the First Depression. In times of stress and uncertainty, people always turn to one thing they can depend on...escapism. Men who have been emasculated turn to symbolic manhood, though I daresay Australian football requires significantly more amounts of testosterone than the padded-up American version. Women, of course, watch for the tight pants and rippling beef on display, like rodeo judges examining prize bulls.

The spectacle of it all would be so amusing, but for the seriousness that it papers over. Greece and Italy have both installed unelected bankers as head of state, which is de facto fascism on display. That other Euro nations will follow is without doubt. We are seeing the rise of the pre-World War II world once again, with America playing Germany as the military expansionist. This time, the Axis powers are engulfing the Western hemisphere. It only remains to see who will play the Allied powers, though certainly China and the Asian Alliance are auditioning for the role.

What's interesting to watch here is the game being played by China, Iran and South America. China is shadowing the US in the East. When the US sets up a new drone base, the Chinese move in next door. When the US tries to choke off Iran's economy, China opens the back door. And the whole time, Iran in down in America's back yard making new friends and sending the message that the US can't depend on a flaccid southern flank.

On the sidelines, the banksters and the military-industrial complex are funding and arming all sides, as they always have. They don't play favorites, except when it comes to their own pockets and dinner tables. A fine example is the US (corporation) selling missiles to Israel, who in turn sell them to China, so they can shoot them back at the US. The beauty of the deal is that the US (corporation) gets plausible deniability and Israel is literally swimming in teflon, since the media are owned by dual citizens whose primary allegiance is to Israel.

Make no mistake, Israel is not run by Jews. They are Rothschild agents who wrap themselves in the trappings of Judaism as a wolf wears wool among the herd.

But the real news is the sheer panic within the ranks of the Anglo-American empire. Something has them seriously spooked and running scared. We can pretty much rule out Sino-Russian interests, though they don't seem to be much worried about whatever it is. In fact, they have both been rather quiet about the financial implosion sweeping the western hemisphere these past few years. In fact, they seem almost amused by the antics of Wall and Fleet streets.

We know from Orwell and watching the machinations of the elite over the past century or so that the original plan was to carve the world up into trilateral governorships that were supposed to be beholden to a central planetary power. The three regions would be played off each other to keep things just destabilized enough that each region could be controlled through war and shortages of everything. In fact, Orwell laid it out quite plainly.

However, on the road to empire, a fourth power has shown up and spoiled the cake walk. Joseph Farrell makes a compelling argument that it is the next generation of International Nazis. At the end of WWII, Martin Boorman and the top party brass escaped to Argentina and Chile, including most likely, Adolph himself. Through Prince Bernhardt and the Bilderbergers, Boorman placed the equivalent of $16 billion in cash and gold into Anglo-American banks, who gladly took the loot, figuring the Nazis would eventually die off and they'd keep it all scot free.

Well, things didn't quite work out that way. The modern descendants of the original Nazis called in their markets and the cocky Wall/Fleet Streeters figured they could get away with saying no. So 9/11 happened and literal truck loads of gold vanished from under the towers and since then, the empire has been scrambling to pull itself together.

In their self-inflated hubris, the Anglo-American elite had pretty much crapped on the entire world. They had few, if any, friends left. Certainly China, who held a significant portion of the US debt wasn't going to lift a finger to help out, causing the western elite to play power politics hard-ball with them. That only exacerbated the problem.

Since the re-unification of Germany, there's been a slow, almost imperceptible reformation of the Third Reich. The German army has quietly begun taking on the trappings of the old Prussian ways. Without a doubt, the EU was a Nazi post-war plan, cooked up even before the war began. We take note that in the latest round of devaluations, Germany's rating remained intact, though every other major economy in Europe got whacked. With Goldman Sachs alumni running Greece and Italy, and France, Spain and Portugal soon following, the final unification of Europe under German hegimony will be complete. And with the next-gen Nazis yanking their loot out of the Anglo-American system, it will utterly crash and burn, becoming unable to put up even a cursory fight.

One sign that all this is actually the case is the fact that the Nazis were close allies and benefactors of the Muslim world. They were responsible for establishing and supporting such regimes as Libya, Egypt, Iran, and Iraq. One doesn't need to think too long to see a pattern here. Perhaps all the Middle East wars and artificial revolutions of the past ten years (since what?...oh yeah, 9/11) have been to shake up the power base of these very countries.

It seems that the Anglo-American elites are in the battle for their lives against an enemy they thought they had defeated and subsumed. It looks for all the world as if the Fourth Reich is ascendant, and this time, they have the bull by the horns.

One has to remember that the US and UK were initially big supporters of Hitler and the Reich. The Rockefellers and Bushes and that ilk funded the Nazis, and in fact, the Nazis incorporated a lot of ideas from the US elite, such as eugenics and racial purity. It went awry when Hitler began issuing non-debt money from the state treasury and extracting the German nation from the Rockefeller/Rothshild mafia. It stands to reason that the Nazis would be a little sore about their benefactors turning on them and might want a little revenge when the time was right.

It shouldn't be too much longer before we know the truth. Toto is already tugging at the curtain and soon the wizard will be revealed. Already, the Anglo-American elite have shown their hands, so it's just a matter of time before the mystery foe does the same.

Ahmadinejad - The Southern Tour

The one thing the US/UK elite can not afford is a focused and concerted effort to reform the political and financial systems at home. That's why Ron Paul literally scares the shit out of them. He is marshaling folks and bringing up issues they DO NOT want to talk about. They are absolutely terrified of showing their weakness to anyone, especially the sheeple. If he is elected, the wars ended, the troops brought home, and the Federal Reserve shut down (or at least thoroughly audited), they will wither and die like the wicked witch of the West.

Oh, and where does Ahmadinejad go to discuss the situation at hand? Why, to South America, which is where those fine folks from the Reich have been doing their thing for the past 60 years.

Just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn't it? Now you have something to think about during the playoffs.

Soros targeting Indonesia?

I attended the American Chamber of Commerce here in Jakarta last night. It was notable for the sheer number of bankers and lawyers running around and it highlighted the vast quantities of money sloshing into Asia right now.

As the west goes into serious decline economically, funds and individuals are desperately redeploying their money anywhere that looks like it can return even a minor profit.

The Indonesian economy is ripe for the picking. Since the fall of Soeharto, it's been limping along trying to find its bearings. It is growing exponentially lately. Just in the four years I've been here, I watched it go from room temperature to full boil. People hardly know what to do with all the new-found wealth and attention literally flooding the country.

Most of the new money is focused on commodities and manufacturing. Indonesia has a vast unskilled/low-skilled workforce that commands embarrassingly little money. A great number of folks here live on $5 to $10 a day. So many want to join in the fun, but they have minimal education and few marketable skills. In other words, they are easy prey for ruthless industrialists who find them disposable resources.

Its rather sickening to see how western corporations behave outside their home territories. They are like voracious predators who swoop in, pick the carcass to the bone and vanish again, leaving the locals spinning in a daze trying to figure out what just happened.

Indonesia is not an isolated case. This has been the modus operandi of carnivorous capitalism for centuries. Indonesia has been a target of colonialism for at least a millennium, with the Chinese, Europeans and finally the Americans all having a turn. Granted the Americans had a real scam going, whereby the convinced everyone that they were there to save the patient as they pulled the plug.

Granted, Indonesians aren't without blame. In culture here has little concept of 'tomorrow' and 'saving.' Everyone is out to get all theirs upfront, to hell with the future. As a consequence, little or nothing gets done without some outside imposed structure.

Here in Jakarta, there are mini monuments to this attitude all over parts of the city. Back in 2000, they started on a monorail project for the city. It got as far as building a few pylons before it went broke from folks taking their profit up front. A year later, the project was revived with new investment. A few more pylons were built, then the same thing happened. Now there are dozens of these concrete and steel pylons rusting away.

It's a study in contrasts living here. Indonesians are some of the most prejudiced people I've ever met. This group hates that group, and they aren't the least bit afraid to tell you. The Batak look down on the Javanese who look down on the Ambonese, and everyone looks down on the Papuans. It's amazing that anything gets done, really.

But the thing that is rather ominous is that as Indonesia's prosperity grows, so does its reliance on the outside world. It wasn't long ago that the country was a new exporter of oil and rice, but now they import both. In both cases, its a cultural problem. When folks have enough for today, they don't worry about tomorrow. As a consequence, there was no investment in finding more oil, since there was so much of it back in the 80s. The same with rice. It was pouring out of every cabinet, so why worry about future growth and needs?

In many ways, Indonesia is a microcosm of the West. Though the scale and details vary, the overall effect is much the same.

America began shipping its manufacturing overseas back in the 70s. Back then it was the Japanese, but later the Chinese. Folks saw the profits swell and everyone grew fat off the windfall. No one gave a thought for tomorrow, because times were so good back then. Remember the 80s? The Reagan era, when business was unleashed and everything turned to a garage sale mentality, as folks sold off anything of value.

Hollywood got in on the act with movies like "The Secret of My Success," and "Wall Street." It was all corporate raiders and M&A and knights of various colors. Everyone discovered that they could get all theirs upfront and retire at 40, living the high life in their McMansions.

But money never lasts forever. Carelessness and taxes and lack of thrift eventually eat out the largest nest egg. Sure they retired at 40 in the their massive houses and made the cover of Forbes as they captained their yachts. They had been conned by the allure of instant wealth, but hadn't learned the secret of maintaining it.

Along came inflation and rising energy prices. They wanted to re-enter the workforce, but found it quite a bit tougher at 55 and 60. Younger folks had come along and weren't just going to give up their jobs to let the aging wunderkinds back in. The nest egg shrank and there was no investment in tomorrow.

A long time ago, there were all these ideas about making a fortune and using it to help the Earth. The 60s kids had all these ideas about greening this and welfare that. No one thought about what that would do 50 years down the line. They could achieve things that no one else in history had been able to achieve, and they were going to do it in their own lifetimes.

After they had that little pile of money in front of them, though, things changed. Gosh, who would notice if we just lived it up for a while? I'll just take mine off the top here and then I can help the world from my position of comfort and privilege. We'll just put in these laws and regulations about eco-this and touchy-feely that, and everything will be hunky-dory!

And it was, for a couple of decades. The thing is, when the dance ends the piper always comes over to collect his fee. You were having such a great time at the party, you forgot to set aside a few bucks for this eventuality. Now you're in a particularly embarrassing moment. It's at this point a lot of folks start throwing blame around. Then comes the begging and pleading. Then the sob tales. All the while, the piper is standing there unmoved and unmoving.

So here we are, folks. Money is sloshing around the planet trying to find quick profits rather than going into future dividends. All the desperate early retirees who thought they were going to do what no man has ever achieved, are now scrambling to build up just one more nest egg.

What they are finding is that there are no nests, much less eggs to put in them. It's all been hacked up and sold off to fund yesterday's party, and the piper not looking the least bit amused.

The way I figure it, everyone gets one pie in life. The conventional wisdom was that you divvy it up and have a little taste here and there, then when the time came, you could have a nice big slice with a little whipped cream, too. Along came the ME generation. They figured that they could eat the whole damn thing up front, and then get another pie later on. Well, there ain't no more pie, and last I checked, the whipped cream supply is running pretty darned low, too. The solution was to eat the kids' pies, because they were young and could find another pie later, right?

Well, all the pie for the next 10 generations has been eaten...by us. We had our desert, now we have to figure out how to put some back for the next round, but that's not happening. Instead, folks are still looking for more pie. We're all now and this is the time we should be enjoying our pie, why can't we have more? After all, it's our right to have pie! We deserve pie! Our parents had pie at this age!

Yes, but they saved theirs until they had time to enjoy it. We gobbled ours down before dinner, and there's nothing left now. We've eaten the kids' pies and the neighbors pies and when the folks down the lane weren't looking, we ate their too. So now it's all gone and we've got a massive sugar rush and we are scrambling to find a new supply.

We had so many rationalizations. We had so many high ideals and lofty goals. We were going to change the world, and when you think about it, we did. Just not quite the way we were planning.

Anger. Denial. Depression. Bargaining. Acceptance.

Dr. Kuebler-Ross. Remember that great scene from "All That Jazz?" So where are you on that scale? From what I see, we're still a long way from acceptance. Seems we're quickly entering the depression phase. We may be slipping into the bargaining part, but very slowly. Once we get to acceptance, we might be able to find some solutions. The question is, will we live long enough to get to that point, or will we get stuck here?

If everyone suddenly sold off all the ridiculous trappings of false wealth and started living on $5 to $10 a day, like a lot of Indonesians do, there might be some hope. But I don't see that happening any time soon. Everyone wants their pie and to eat it too. From everything I've ever learned, it doesn't work like that.

Reader Rites

Getting widespread distribution and having a provocative topic is both a blessing and a curse. As a writer, it's always exciting when your work is read and even more exciting when it evokes immediate reaction from readers. I know from many years in network television and marketing that when people take pen to hand, something has moved then deeply enough to put forth an effort.

The curse is a full inbox and I'm not the fastest responder in the East, at that. But many of the email I received deserves to be heard, as much for what they say, as for what they don't say.

With that, I'd like to share some of them with readers. Be forewarned that some of the language is adult in nature, so more sensitive readers are cautioned up front.

The first one I want to share speaks volumes in so few words:

The problem with you is you have more brains and balls than the rest of us.
In my case I screwed around chasing money and pussy till I got too old to be worth a shit to anyone. Now, all I can do is distribute the work of better men than I ever was or will be, and it takes me 80+ hours a week to do even that. Then again at 71 what the fuck else is there left within my abilities to do in this totally unexpected clusterfuck?
I have determined to create enough noise so they come looking for me, and find an old man with a shit load of ammo. That beats the hell out of rotting in some cell.

This letter is so indicative of our culture. That anyone can believe they are lesser or useless means that we have failed as a society to find the value in every member of it.

There was an time when the older folks were revered for their experience alone. This writer learned some valuable lessons from his life that would be excellent teachings for younger generations. Yet he feels left out and rejected, unable to do more than 'forward' other peoples' work.

First off, getting the message out in any form to anyone is a valuable service in itself. Those who have the time and inclination to educate and awaken others is a positive and worthwhile effort by any standard.

Second, in these few short words are clear examples of what we are doing wrong. We have allowed a small group of evil elite to dangle sparklies in front of our eyes and tell us that the pursuit of these things is the meaning of life. We;ve been snowed into thinking that having vast selections of sparklies is freedom, but it's nothing more than a gilded cage. Teaching others about this is a fundamental necessity. If we can't see the bars, we will never know we are in a cage.

My heart bleeds for the world today especially your homeland of the USA. I know if Scotland ever needed me I would be there in a second. But that too is awash with deceipt and corruption. I must make a stand from where I am.
I get so confused a lot of the time listening to people who profess to have the answer and nothing happens.
I believe in TRUTH and JUSTICE. Deep down in the heart of every human being lies the truth. It cannot be coerced by media, newspapers, governments, friends, schools and colleges etc. It is self evident.
I am just starting on my journey in trying to awaken people around me for make no mistake its coming to the UK too, albeit at a slower time frame. I see it happening with each passing day, and
i,m not having it without the fight of my life!!
Its time I feel for heroes to arise both in the USA and here in Europe. Heroes stand for TRUTH, JUSTICE and LIBERTY, not just for themselves but for every innocent human being that suffers anywhere.

This letter brings up some excellent points. One, the battle isn't anywhere in particular, it's everywhere and nowhere. Next, a lot of people feel the need to fight something, but they are confused. This isn't two armies meeting on a field to duke it out. It's shadow boxing.

I've mentioned before, and it bears repeating, there's nowhere to run and hide. But it works both ways. Both sides are stuck on a single globe and there are few frontiers left. Some folks have suggested that I ran away by leaving the States. Au contraire. I simply changed position because the one I was in was drawing a lot of fire. There is no place to run away. No matter where you are, it will come if it isn't already there.

Many of the letters ask where's the target. They want to fight back, which is a natural impulse when you first wake up to this mess, but they don't know from which direction the sorties are coming.

That's because the war is in our minds and spirits. The enemy is trying to break us, trying to turn prize stallions into draft horses. The battle is taking back your mind and your culture. This makes it the worst kind of war, because so many of us are ill-prepared for it. We can shoot, or throw a rock, but how do you fight a shadow?

The answer is begin with good information. Educating yourself makes you less vulnerable to the siren songs of the media and consumerism that have replaced our true culture with the veneer of sophistication. As our first writer found, it's all empty once you get it in your hands, like cotton candy. It just melts away leaving hardly a residue behind.

This one from someone with parallel experiences to my own, it seems. The poem mentioned is quite good and if I get permission, I would like to share it at a later time. Also need to meet up with this guy!

Liked the article on Henry's site, I am an Australian who has come to the same conclusions, had huge life changes after 9/11. Now live in East Java with my newly married wife. I am currently in Australia but return in late Jan. I have found new direction and meaning in Indonesia and feel more productive with my time and energy.I am a cottage industry film maker and much of my work deals with personal freedom. I have experienced similar observations in Australia with the TV watching population. After years of bewilderment I sat up one night and wrote a poem about this terrible weapon . It's brutal and angry but i hope u like it.

I can't stress enough the need to turn off the TeeVee. Most folks are ill-prepared to grapple with the issues surrounding this one device. With 40 years of experience in mass media, I can speak with authority when I say that TeeVee is the most dangerous, insidious and ubiquitous weapons in the War on Mind.

People have withdrawl symptoms when they cut it out of their lives. They feel empty and restless, and will actually stare at a blank screen for hours. Folks are faced with nearly a third or more of their lives that they didn't know existed, once they turn the evil thing off, and it's scary to a lot of people.

There's a proven hypnotic effect from TeeVee that leaves viewers susceptible to suggestion and sub-conscious manipulation. Even with my considerable experience in producing mass media, and a degree in the subject, I still find myself occasionally being taken in by it. That's why the TeeVee in my house is rarely on more than two hours a month.

The reader's letter shows that there are many experts who are aware of this problem, and it should give pause to anyone before clicking the ON button. Trust me when I say that this one act of turning off the TeeVee is revolutionary in itself.

There are many more fine letters waiting for me in the in-box. It will take a considerable amount of my weekend to answer them all adequately. I must say, though, that I am humbled and edified by the responses, and deeply grateful to the many websites that have picked up this and other articles.

We are faced with a War of Ideas, and getting good ones out there is half the battle. It's the classic ripple effect. When something you do or say sparks action in others, then we are on the road to victory. We must be very cautious, though, to avoid violence and destructive acts. They only serve to feed the Beast, which thrives on such things. Self-education and teaching are our most effective weapons, and they require nothing more than genuine human contact.

The key concept I was trying to get across in previous articles is something we all learned in grade school. Whenever the teacher turned her back is when the mayhem broke out. In many ways, that is how we fight this enemy. Wear them out. Overtax their tools of control. Keep them running in so many directions trying to stop us that they give up.

In Texas, we call it herding cats. The Chinese call it the death of a thousand cuts. Whatever you call it, the important part is to do anything in your power to confound the enemy. The best part is that groups of one are impossible to infiltrate.

Be creative. THEY hate that!

I always like it when one of the columns sparks some discussion, and yesterday's seems to have hit a chord. One of our good and faithful readers summed up a number of email rather succinctly...

Bernie, you have to clarify your rant. You tell people what to do, yet , you left the Country.

Fair question that deserves an answer.

A good example of why I left the country is the headline: 45 MILLION VIEWERS WATCH TEBOW GAME. I won't provide a link, because it doesn't deserve any more attention than that, but you can find it on Drudge.

I have no idea who Tebow is, but I kind of gather that her's God's quarterback, from the various headlines I've seen over the past couple of months. That fully one fifth of the country tuned in to a football game is reason enough to leave, though. People there have completely FUBAR priorities.

The other reason I left was to save my children. You see, when the bastards don't like you, and they can't make you go away with threats, then they attack your children, because they are cowards. They can't deal with well-informed adults. In other words, they meet every classic definition of bullies. My children were kidnapped no less than five times in two years and held for ransom, to force me to knuckle under.

That's what happens when you are being effective.

I will consider coming home, but there are conditions. First, Ron Paul must be elected. Second, he must survive more than six months as president. Third, he must do what he is promising, and of all the politicians I've known, he probably would. And fourth, TnA must be disbanded and most of them thrown in jail. There's a fifth condition, but I'm not holding my breath. All the banksters that have bankrupted the world need to be tried and dealt with appropriately. I'll come home to help with that one.

See, while Americans have been getting their privates yanked and tweaked, I still have my dignity after I board a plane here. It's even better in China. You can walk out on the tarmac and jump on a plane and hardly notice any security. That's the difference between a foreign policy of terror and blood versus one of mutual economic benefit.

Not that I've ever claimed to be an American. Even when I was 18 and backpacking around the world, I called myself a Texian and always will. Not like the George W. Bush kind, where daddy drags his inbred Yankee butt to Texas to carpetbag. I'm talking seventh generation pure.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand.

I don't see a lot to come home for. Folks are suffering from mass denial, and when they do notice they're broke and homeless, they turn to the evil bastards that put them there and beg for relief. That kind of mentality just doesn't have much appeal for me. I'm more of the independent, leave-me-alone type.

I moved to Indonesia four years ago with one suitcase and $600. I had never been here before and didn't speak the language. Done pretty well for myself since then. My friend helped me with visas and such the first two years and I borrowed $300 from my brother for medical bills when I went blind, but that's about as much help as I've gotten.

It also shows how badly I didn't want to go home again. I spent 20 years fighting and kicking and screaming to prevent what's happened there. When the chips were down, not one person would come near me. They were so afraid that the bastards would turn on them that they preferred to turn their backs. I spent $250,000 and two and a half years fighting the bastards, and just barely eeked out a victory.

When I was done, I had nothing left. Every last bit was gone, save for a couple of boxes of documents and some clothes. No job, no savings, no house, nothing.

I could see that Obama was going to steal the White House, even in December of 2007. That meant that the whole country was completely whacked and there was no saving it. I wasn't sticking around to watch. Too many folks thinking, "My country, right or wrong."

Not that much of it matters, since this year will see the end of many things, and the beginning of many more. The world we know now will not even resemble this moment come January of next year. All the folks who are cheerleaders from the wrong side are going to find life intolerable soon enough.

Back in the day, there were a bunch of us 'paper warriors.' We each specialized in some aspect of the law. I chose Travel and Transportation. I was pretty good at it. I lost count somewhere around getting 150 tickets dismissed for just about everything you can imagine. For four years, I didn't have registration, inspection or any other the other rigmarole they shove down our throats.

People would shake their heads and ask me how I did it? I would show them my library of hundreds of books and journals and papers, and tell them it only took a few hundred hours of study.

There's a price for everything, including freedom.

Trust me, if you got out of America long enough for the conditioning and the fluoride to wear off, you'd be amazed at what the rest of the world sees. If you're old enough, you may remember how we saw the Soviet Union. It's a lot like that. And yes, America has political prisoners and political exiles. I was one and I am one, and I'm not alone.

So what can you do about it? Well, I mentioned conquering your fear, the hours of study, the time in jail and the misery of their attacks. That about sums it up. But unless you can wake up several hundred of your closest friends, work together on this, and watch them turn on you the minute you start having success, I don't give it much hope.

Remember that out here in the real world, all folks see is the feral gummint. They don't see the individuals. Think about how you see other countries through the media. The animosity and anger that a lot of folks out here harbor towards the feral gummint does not discriminate between it and you. Going back to the good ol' Soviet Union, you may recall that we didn't see the individual Russians or Kassars or Mongols or Kazaks. We just saw the evil Poliburo and the Great Satan Premier.

America looks much the same from out here.

All it would have taken 20 years ago would have been to elect good sheriffs in about 40% of the counties west of the Mississippi River. Every one of them has the power to evict the feds and arrest any that won't go. There's more power in your local sheriff's pen than in all of Congress, and that's been proven all the way up to the Supreme Court a dozen times.

But the thing is, it's too late for all that. All of it is the Old Paradigm, and that's coming to a swift and pwerful end. In the New Paradigm, none of it matters...presidents, congresses, sheriffs, nations, economies. Everything you have ever known is changing, whether you like it or not.

The best thing you can do is hunker down and watch the real world. Now is the time to taste the air, smell the dirt, watch the birds, and stare at the sky. The signs are everywhere. If you know how to filter the media, the signs are there. If you know how to read the clouds, the signs are there. If you are aware, you've nothing to fear.

Unfortunately, most people don't do any of that. And when they get caught with their pants down, there's going to be hell to pay. The best thing smart folks can do now is plan to stay out of the way.

There's an old Jewish mystical trick that a friend taught me years ago. It's called 'walking between the rain drops.' Now is the time for good folks to learn that trick. Once you learn it, you realize how simple it is. The problem is getting to that point. It works best when you close your eyes, but then you can't see where you're going until you learn the trick. Catch-22.

It's a very exciting time to be alive, but not for most of the reasons you can think of. When the change happens, you'll realize that there was little you could do to prepare. Things are changing at such a fundamental level that guns and MREs aren't going to help. Believe me, the bad guys will be just as befuddled. Sit real quiet for a few minutes. Turn off the TeeVee and put the kids in bed. Just listen. Somewhere in the Universe, a switch has been flipped and something completely new is coming our way really fast.

All you have to do is walk between the drops.

Wasn't all that long ago that someone was crazy as a loon if they spouted off about the coming martial law in America. Now they've got armed TnA agents frisking old ladies at the Social Security office. And that's OK.

Not even a decade ago, you were a tin foiler if you dared to mention the evil black helicopters. I was, even though I had a sworn statement from an air traffic controller at Miami-Dade who had seen them and knew that they had the required N-numbers painted in IR paint on the tails. Now there's black helicopters in the movies and drones over the house. And that's OK.

It was just a while back that a guy was completely 'round the bend for suggesting the US government was building stalags all over the freakin' place. I even had photos of one in Hockley, TX that I posted on the internet. But I was half-a-dozen sandwiches short of a picnic. Now they're posting bid tenders on fed websites for vendors to build and staff them in five regions around the country. And that's OK.

Chemtrails? No problem. Police gunning down grade schoolers? Go for it. Assassinating American citizens without trial or conviction? Yee-haw! Indefinite detention because they don't like the way you smile and kiss ass? Yeah baby! That's the way I like it! Waco? Love it! Ruby Ridge? More more! Elian Gonzales? He deserved it! Murder...mayhem...utter disregard for the rule of law and centuries of jurisprudence? YES YES YES!!!

I wasn't the only one out there blowing the whistle on this stuff. There were thousands of us. We wrote. We protested. We fought in court. We went to jail. A lot. Think Steve McQueen in The Great Escape.

Jesse Ventura's gone to Mexico, along with a lot of other folks I know. Several people have moved to Panama. I'm in Indonesia. Others are scattered across the globe. We gave up and got out.

After they impoverish you, destroy your family, kill your wife, and shit-can anything that's left, ain't no use sticking around. All those good folks who laughed and ridiculed and ostracized...now they are the ones complaining. No sympathy here, folks. Sorry.

This is what people do when they are serious about changing things. They fight. I don't mean shooting, I mean filing paper, running the courts in circles. Making them fight for ever inch they take. You sandbag. You drag your heels. You absolutely wear them out with passive resistance. It's called, "herding cats."

I went to jail for contempt of court because I brought my copy of Civil Procedures and dared to tell the judge she was wrong and show her the proof. I went to jail for refusing to follow unconstitutional laws (see Thomas Jefferson). I went to jail for exercising my rights, as clearly defined and delineated in the Texas and US Code (they call it a Code because you aren't supposed to figure it out). I went to jail for refusing to identify myself to cops when I was in my house doing dishes and not bothering a soul. They were illegally sweeping for warrants and I turned the tables on them.

I filed lawsuits. I demanded they follow their own laws and regulations. I filed aggravated kidnapping charges for false arrest.

This is what people do when they are serious about defending their freedom and their country from invasion, whether internal or external.

Living in fear, hoping you won't draw their attention, is the coward's way out. Eventually, they come after you, no matter what. Not fighting for your family and your freedom because you might miss the playoffs is the slave's chorus. Not fighting because you don't know the law is the lazy man's excuse. It's all at your fingertips right here on the internet.

I know guys who will invest inordinate numbers of hours studying stats for their favorite steroid abusers. They'll spend their bottom dollar on a bigger TeeVee, but not a penny for their right to free information to watch on it. Some guys will spend half their life buying, pimping and caring for their car, but not one second on learning that they don't have to have a license, or inspection, or insurance, or plates. They know their car inside and out, but they don't know the law regarding travel and transportation.

What are your afraid of? Losing your stuff? It's not yours to begin with. You just rent it from the government, and in any event, it's gone when you die. You afraid of being uncomfortable, or spending a night in jail, or talking back to a judge who bought the chair? Think of what the people did who bought your freedom. What did they lose so you could sit on your ass and watch mindless garbage for a third of your life?

Everything costs something. It's a fact of life. Freedom has a cost too. You can't skate through life stuffing your face, swilling beer and watching football without paying some price for the freedom to make those choices.

Americans have become a race of 'free lunchers.' They want all the cream and none of the teat-squeezing.

You want the right to privacy? Then learn where that concept comes from. How did it appear in our law? How can you defend it by investing a few hours each week to keep and expand it?

You like the freedom to travel? Then learn the difference between travel and transport, between a car and a vehicle, between going about your business on your roads, and engaging in commerce on them.

You want free speach? Then start speaking freely. You want to keep and bear arms? Then start keepng AND bearing them. You want a free press? Then stop watching the freaking mass media and start supporting real, steely-eyed reporting.

Most of all, don't ever be afraid to go to jail for what's right. It makes the right all the sweeter when you fight for it, and it makes you a real soldier. You are on the front lines of the War on Liberty. You can hold your head up and say you've fought for your family, like a real man does.

Men used to say, "It's better to die standing than live on my knees." Now they just say, "Honey, bring me another beer wouldja? I don't wanna miss this play."

What have you achieved with your life? What have you done that will outlive you, besides breed? What have you taught your children about the world and how to keep their rights?

If you have to think about it, then the answer is, "Not much."

Want to change the world? Then start with yourself. Get over your fear and stop cowering. Then stand up like a real man and defend your family. You don't have to fire a shot, or even throw a punch. This war is for the mind. It's a battle of wits and their only weapons are shadows and fog.

Learn. Grow. Fight. Educate. And for God's sake, turn off the TeeVee!

Me, A Name I Call Myself

It is a stealth weapon of the elite to confuse political thought and labels. If one controls the definition of a word, then one controls all thoughts and ideas associated with that word. This is why Orwell made such laborious points about the NewSpeak dictionary and Big Brother's control of vocabulary.

In this US political season, there are many labels being thrown around, and in fact, it is not much different than it has been for many decades. It used to be a habit to smear folks with the term 'communist.' The McCarthy era went on 'witch hunts' for Commies. Yet I daresay pure communism has rarely existed, and certainly never at the level of national political control.

Today, the media and opponents smear Ron Paul with the label of 'libertarian,' though Ron Paul is hardly a pure libertarian, nor does the body of thought called 'libertarianism' have much to do with the common perception of it.

In order for social dialogue to be effective in parsing real leaders, it is vital that the language be clear and unambiguous. For this reason, the elites relish the idea and ability to control definitions. In doing so, they control outcomes and masses. Thus, it behooves us to be absolutely clear on the definitions of political thought, so that we know exactly who we are electing and what they will do when they get there.

One of the most egregious examples of mis-definition is the word 'democracy.' Democracy is probably one of the worst forms of government ever devised, since it is absolutely dependent on the masses being educated and enlightened. Otherwise, it always devolves into the classic two wolves and a lamb voting on what's for dinner.

The concept of America making the world 'safe for democracy' is so absurd and so wicked, as to be laughable if it weren't damaging so many lives. Nothing is safe with or for democracy. Everything is at the whim of the majority. All rights, property and wealth are subject to whether 50.1% of the masses want what you have. And if you are a reviled minority, then the majority can round you up and hang you whenever they damn well feel like it.

The elite love democracy, because they have mass mind control down to an art form. Since they can manipulate at least 50.1% of the masses, they can do pretty much anything they like and blame it on the 'majority'.

For this reason, the US founders virtually spat the word democracy from their mouths. They studied ancient Greek history and knew that any system based on it was doomed to corruption and dictatorship. Instead, they turned to a Roman concept called a 'republic'.

The idea of a republic is that there are a basket of rights that are sacrosanct and 'unalienable' (think unable to make a lien against them). These rights can not be taken away by the majority, nor can they be contracted away. In other words, a free man can not make himself a slave, but a slave has all the rights of a free man.

This is why the US Constitution dilutes the power of voting as much as possible. The House is directly elected, but they are balanced by a Senate that was supposed to be elected by the State legislators. People vote for electors, who in turn vote for the president. The vice president was supposed to be the second-highest vote-getter.

There's also a Bill of Rights in that Constitution. This was to be the basket of rights that were untouchable..."Congress shall make no law..." No majority, no matter how big, was ever to have the power to abridge, amend or rescind those rights.

Both democracy and repulicanism were supposed to be reactions to monarchy. Monarchy invests all sovereign power in a single individual, whose successor is a genetic relative. All political, social, legal, and religious power was centered in this one individual. If they happened to be good, then the masses flourished and things were peachy-keen. If the monarch was evil and corrupt, then the entire country suffered for it.

Hardly a basis for stable governance.

A very old form of governance is something called communism, from the same root as community. This form can not work on a mass scale. In fact, masses of people are anathema to the whole idea of communism. It only works on the scale of extended families, or possibly small villages. Monasteries are a form of communism merged with monarchy.

They idea is that the group of people involved work together for the common good. On the scale of a village, some folks grow food, others hunt, others are blacksmiths or leatherworkers, etc., and they pool their output for the benefit of everyone in the community. If I'm a farmer, then I put my harvest in the pool and take out a pair of shoes for the kids and a shirt for myself.

One can see that scaling that sort of lifestyle up to even the size of a city wouldn't work. Obviously, communism is unsuitable for mass society and therefore, has never existed on that scale.

So, along comes socialism. Here, the concept of communism is adapted to mass society by vesting all power in the State. Thus, the State owns and controls everything, and distributes the fruits of production to its constituents as needs arise. However, this system is susceptible to corruption. Inevitably, those who control the distribution keep the lion's share for themselves, which in turn calls for creation of vast bureaucracies of watchers to watch the watchers, all of whom become corrupt as they all try to take the cream off before passing out the dregs to the folks who actually produce the goods.

Socialism is doomed to collapse from an ever-swelling political class who become ever-more corrupt and self-centered. The collapse is exacerbated by the eventual dissatisfaction of the masses who do all the work and get none of the benefits. Like a teetering inverted pyramid, eventually the masses yank the rug out from under the system and it crashes down in a heap of ruins (see USSR).

The complete reverse of socialism is fascism, whereby all power and control is vested in corporate interests. The business elite own and control everything, including government, and set out to establish an environment that favors them at the expense of all others. This is the current state of things in the US. Corporate interests manipulate the system so that the corporate elite siphon off the wealth for themselves and throw the scraps to the masses. Fascism is an insidious form of government, because it appears to operate in the interests of all, in that everyone thinks they have an equal chance to get a piece of the pie. But, the elite control the legal system, among other things, and simply change the rules when any one group gets too close to challenging their hegemony.

This form of government is doomed to collapse for many of the same reasons as socialism. In fact, there's little that distinguishes the two, other than who ultimately benefits at the top. Socialism and fascism are like Ismael and Isaac. They are half-brothers but doomed to hate each other for all time, since the controllers at the top differ by degree and title.

In this same group, we'll call it a cousin, is theocracy. Here, the monarch is a god or gods who ostensibly appoint a bureaucracy to see to their Earthly duties. Ultimately, you end up with the same thing as the latter two forms - a ruling elite who scrape off the cream for themselves in the name of protecting society. The only difference is that this bunch of bastards nominally answer to invisible forces, for which only they have the hotline. Basically, it's a monarchratic socialist state with an invisible chairman.

There are a couple dozen variations on all this. There's constitutional monarchies, and capitalist socialism, and democratic republics (talk about juxtapositions). But all result in the same thing: a corrupt few controlling the masses by manipulating symbols of power to benefit themselves at the expense of everyone else.

Here's where libertarianism stepped in. Now, to hear the US mass media tell it, libertarianism is like Reaganomics on steroids. The gist of it is that the philosophy is presented as unleashing corporations from any pretense of government control and letting them run amok in a capitalist orgy of rape and pillage. This is why Ron Paul is painted as crazy and libertarianism is slandered as lunatic fringe.

Nothing could be further from the truth. First of all, Ron Paul is not a pure libertarian, and second, libertarianism has nothing to do with unfettered corporate greed.

In its purest form, libertarianism is the concept that all people, everywhere, are completely sovereign within themselves and their property. In other words, every man is a king and every woman a queen, and within the confines of their proptery, they are ultimate rulers over all they survey. The more property you own, the bigger your kingdom. And within that property, you are the ultimate law and order. Whatever you say, goes. Period.

Where it gets a little sticky is outside of your property. Here, the Biblical axiom takes over: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. In other words, your rights stop at the self and property of another. Any attempt to enforce your beliefs or exercize your rights over another is a literal act of war.

The only means of interaction with others is by contract, which literally works much like treaties between nations. You are allowed to take or give as much as you like, as long as you abide by the terms of the contract you make. Thus, every employee becomes a contractor. All public works are performed by groups of people acting under contract. Each contract becomes a form of Constitution, limiting and defining the powers of the parties involved within the scope of work in the contract.

It's an interesting and exciting political philosophy. You can run your oil company, but the minute you spill some and cause a mess on my property, then you - personally - are liable for it, as is everyone under contract with your company. If you want to run a meth lab in your house, more power to you. But if your operation blows up and damages my property, you are liable, as are the folks working with you.

Libertarianism is the ultimate form of personal responsibility. You are absolute monarch within the limits of your property, which includes your body. But if any of your actions impair the property or rights of anyone else, then you lose your wealth making them whole again.

What makes libertarianism so appealing, at least to me, is that it completely decentralizes power. Instead of small bodies of elites governing the thoughts, actions and wealth of the many, there are seven billion governments all acting organically with each other. There is no public property, only that which isn't owned by someone. There are no forced innoculations or militarized police or even lawyers, such as we know of them now.

Instead, there are only people. No strawman entities like corporations. No governmental bodies with power to force you to do anything you don't want.

The concept is so foreign to most people's thinking that they can't conceive of such things. No welfare? No subsidies? No taxes? How would we survive? No armies? No drug/terror/poverty wars? How would we make anyone follow our ways?

Once you start looking seriously at it, though, you find that Ron Paul is pretty darned far from being libertarian. Sure he espouses a lot of the ideas, but the basis of his rhetoric is really just a return to the founding ideals of the US, which is a damn sight closer to libertarianism than currently exists, but it is NOT libertarianism. In pure libertarianism, there could be no central authority or power to tax or presidency to run for. It wouldn't exist.

It's important in this election season to clarify the terms being thrown around. America is not a democracy, nor has it every been one. Ron Paul is NOT a libertarian, nor has he ever been one. Liberals and conservatives are neither. Democrats and Republicans are neither.

America is a fascist state. Granted, it is not the most severe example...yet. But it is important to both realize that fact and decide where you stand on the issue. It would help if you look up the history of fascism (dating back to the Roman period) and see how they always end. Look up democracy, while your at it. Notice that you don't live in one, first, and second, that you don't want to.

Finally, examine pure libertarianism. It's a scary concept for many folks, since they can't imagine being personally responsible for their lives. However, I find it most appealing in many ways. Though Indonesia has a socialist repulic form of government, at the street/practical level, the people have a strong libertarian impulse that I find refreshing.

Freedom is a scary thing. Having only yourself and your family and friends to rely on is terrifying for a lot of folks. They would rather use the guns and force of government to take your property and wealth to support them, or at least give them the illusion of security. The problem is, the more power you give to government to make you secure, the more the government will become your worst enemy.

Ultimately, the fairest and most egalitarian social order is libertarianism, but the world is not ready for it. Our ancestors used to live that way, but we have become so socialized and dependent on some form of authority structure that the very idea of personal responsibility causes cold sweat and trembling knees.

Part of what scares the hell out of the elite with the internet is that it has empowered the libertarian in all of us. Groups like the TorProject.org and Anonymous and others are painted as anarchists, but really they are libertarians fighting for the right to take care of their own. The elite must shut down the internet before these groups can become powerful enough to do things like launch their own communications satellites, or build subnets that don't rely on government control, or land robots and people on other planets - all without the aid and coercion of government control and power. In fact, all of those efforts are based on contract and free association, which are the roots of libertarianism.

Makes me want to run over to the bookshelf and take down Emerson and Thoreau!

Turn Off, Tune Out, Take It Back

Hmmm...so now Bammy wants to cut the military in half? What gives?

Oh sure, we can write this off as election year posturing, and no doubt that's part of it. After three years of slaughter, he wants to come across as the Man O' Piece. He can read the polls. He can see that Ron Paul, despite everything the blowhards are telling the world, is screaming up the ladder because he wants to put an end to all the military adventures in 170 countries around the planet. But there's more to it. A lot more.

See, the bastards in the Medieval World Order never do anything without 20 different angles from which they can profit.

In this case, one thing they have are their precious drones. They can now project force anywhere on the planet without the risk of using soldiers who can think, read their oath of office and get tired of BS. Now a handful of die-hard, brainwashed, mental midgets can play video games in a cave in Colorado and kill thousands by remote control.

It protects Their investment in the mental midgets' training, and they can blow up as many drones as they want and just build more on the taxpayers' backs. What a great plan! They can even paint them different colors and blame it on other countries, since there's no pilot inside to give it away. Hell, they can even blow up a wedding party and blame it on equipment malfunction.

Gosh, why didn't WE think of that?!

Wait! There's more!

The gummint's new enemy du jour is now the American people, right? All the laws are in place to turn the War on Terror into a domestic game. So who needs the military any more?

Heck, there's what...tens of thousands of militarized police in America? And with a couple hundred thousand soldiers out of work, they can find gainful employment gunning down grade schoolers in the hallways of America's fine educational institutions!

Ultimately, that's the Goal of Goals. Going back to those polls, They can see that Americans are getting restless. They aren't drinking enough fluoride and swallowing enough Xanax. They're starting to wake up and smell the Arabica bean juice lovingly picked by Juan Valdez in Columbia. It could be the Bolivian marching powder, too. But regardless, folks are starting to ask too many questions and they aren't happy with the pat answers.

Time to up the ranks of the home-grown military. Yup, so many folks though it would be the Ruskies or the Cubans or the Chinese. They never expected that their own fighting boys and girls would be turned on them. Makes you proud to wave your little Made-In-China plastic flag, doesn't it?

And the beauty of the whole plan is that the good American people won't stand together to protect each other. They've been so Balkanized into hating this group or distrusting that group, and even when they can organize, it doesn't take long for folks to start calling each other "feds" and "agents provocateur".

It'll all start with rounding up gangs or drug runners. Everyone will cheer, because they are happy to see their perceived enemies treated rough. But then it will be Muslims. OK, still no problem. Then it will be 'preppers' and 'conspiracy theorists'. They're all weird and crazy, so that's OK.

By the time they're carting off Joe Six-Pack, there won't be anyone to protest. The only folks left will be the mental midgets who can't scratch together a complete sentence, but who make pretty good servants for the bloated uber-klassen.

There's still enough folks who: 1) think they still own anything, and 2) who are so desperate to believe everything is still normal, that no one is willing to put up a good social disobedience.

The way things SHOULD be working is that when they come to repo the neighbors house, the entire neighborhood pours out and surrounds the house. Folks should be spending their two remaining dollars at mom-and-pop stores, but they're all owned by...*gasp*...THOSE people, so no one will give them the business. They'd rather throw it all at Wally-Mart, where everything is made in another country and whose management would love to be Uncle's Company Store.

People have been completely warped by the propaganda.

Hell, even China recognizes it. The other day, they ordered all the low-brow rubbish to be taken off of prime-time TeeVee, and replaced with classic dramas, literature and other high-falootin' fare. Jus try that in America! There really would be riots if folks couldn't get their Two and a Half Men fix, or plant themselves in front of the NFL/NBA/WHL/WWF/etc. mindlessness.

To paraphrase Tim Leary, turn off, tune out, and get real.

My last column seemed to strike a chord with a number of readers. They really liked the idea of taking back the culture...of establish a counter-culture to fight the Medieval World Order. One latched on to the statement that, "We always loose because we always play their game."

Remember, everything you know, everything you do, everything you think, is a product of the elite casino. Everyone knows that the casino is a cash cow, because everyone always loses, and the house always wins. When it's your game and you make the rules, then you are guaranteed to win the game.

Get out of their game.

Look at it this way. Take complete stock of everything and everyone in your life that you don't pay tax on. If there's anything on your list, then that is really what you have left. For most folks, about the only thing on the list will be air, and they're trying to tax that with cap-and-trade.

You have nothing, so you have nothing to lose. Anything you think you can lose is an illusion. They can take your house, your car, your children, and your life and get away scott clean, because they own the courts, too.

The time for feeling complacent is over. You are Their property, until you do something to stop it. The neo-Nazis are NOT the idiots with shaved heads spouting racist claptrap...the real ones are in political office right now.

Requiem For A Nation

Once upon a time, I believed the hype about America being the greatest country ever. In fact, the founding ideals were pretty astounding, in that a country that free had never been tried before, at least since the creation of the modern nation-state.

The dream went bust on Halloween afternoon 1981. I had just spent about a year and a half backpacking around the world. I was 19, and with that experience in my hip pocket, I could call myself a worldly guy. I had seen quite a bit of life and the world, having my passport stamped in 37 countries on three continents. In all that time and in all those places, I pretty much had a free ride through immigration. About the hardest time was getting out of Morocco, because I smoked Marlboros, which implied that I was a hash smoker. Long story that.

Anyway, I looked a bit scruffy, sure, but that's to be expected after such an adventure. My beard and hair had grown pretty long, and I had a pretty severe sunburn from a nude beach in Australia, so I wasn't able to bathe before jumping on the plane home.

At immigration, the jerk at the counter was passing folks through with nary a glance at them, most being foreigners. When I got to the counter, he spent 20 minutes looking at my photo and then at me, asking me questions about why I had been out of the country for so long. I mean real second-degree kind of questions. I, of course, having been raised a Texian and with a strong foundation in history, politics and law, was not about to answer any of them, and said so.

Finally, the jerk pointed at a side bench and said, "See that man over there? He likes people with beards."

I muttered something rude under my breath, calling the jerk's paternity into question and implying that the other fellow's sexual orientation might have something to do with his affinity for beards.

I stepped to the second counter where I got more questions about where I had been and why. I quoted Edmund Hillary and left it at that. Jerk 2, being dissatisfied with my disdain for jackboots proceeded to completely dismantle my backpack, which (after a year and a half) was a masterpiece of intricate packing.

His grinned the whole time, as he literally undid every single item in the pack and threw it on the floor. I made some comment about the obvious similarities to Nazi Germany and how I had been much freer outside the US than I was just momets after arriving on my home soil. Figured I had nothing to lose, since the bastard was determined to make as big a mess of my possessions as he could. My only crime was having dared to go abroad for an extended leave and brazenly defending my right not to answer intimate questions about it.

That was 1981, and from that point on, I know precisely what tyranny was. I hadn't found it in any other country on my travels, save East Germany. It was still decades before TSA would be created, but the foundation was already there.

Quite a few years later, while I was involved with the Texas secessionist effort, some group came out with a study showing that every single American, big and small, was controlled by more than 20,000 laws the minute they rolled out of bed in the morning. Who could possibly follow the law when there were so many? I noticed the headline the other day that 40,000 new laws took effect on January 1. Not counting all the years and laws in between, that's 60,000 laws governing your life.

That can only mean one thing...no human being who lives in America can go through a normal day without breaking some laws. It's impossible with that many laws in effect. At some point, you're going to trim your nails the wrong way, or use the wrong light bulb or use too much water in your morning flush.

I have to say, that's pretty much insane.

The most egregious part of all that is the NDAA, euphemistically called the National Defense Authorization Act. It literally declares every man, woman and child who has US citizenship to be enemies of the US. At any point, and for any arbitrary reason, you can be declared an enemy combatant, stripped of your citizenship and imprisoned and tortured without legal representation or even notification of next of kin. You just vanish into a Kafka-esque nightmare.

Back in the day, when the evil commies were sending folks off to psychiatric hospitals for 'rendition,' they came across a rather stalwart fellow named Alexander Solzhenitsyn. They tried every trick in the book, but could not break him. Finally, he was asked why this was so. He simply answered that they had already taken everything of value from him, so he had nothing left to lose.

These are dangerous times. When you have 300 million people with nothing left to lose, great upheavals in history tend to result. Sad to say, this will probably not end well. The record gun sales before Christmas speak to a great many folks taking things pretty seriously, regardless of who they envision will be at the business end of those guns.

The real answer to this situation is so much more pleasant. The US has reached this point because their culture has been corrupted by the controllers. The simplest and most effective answer is to take it back. It's a time for folks to start creating new art, new music and new literature, but keep it out of the corporate grist mills. Instead, start distributing it on the net, passing out CDs, printing up books and trading them at fairs. Create beauty and pleasant things and refuse to let the corporations feed off of it. Keep it at the real level.

We teeter now at the brink. The number of similarities between the US and Nazi Germany are eerie. The Enabling Act and the Patriot Act, the SS and the TSA, the Reichtstag fire and 9.11. Even the US wars shadow Germany's 'lebensraum,' with blitzkrieg replaced by 'shock and awe.' An ominous black cloud is drawing down on North America. Both periods in history center around global economic depressions. There's no escaping the historical rerun, but there is still an opportunity to change the course of events.

The election of Ron Paul presents an interesting possibility. It would force the shadow elite into the open. They have already exposed their media manipulations because of him. We are likely to see blatant fraud at the polls. If he wins, They will be forced to kill him or watch all their plans and machinations set back decades, if not centuries. That 70% of all donations from military and federal employees are going to Ron Paul is very telling.

It's as if the world is holding its collective breath. The masks are off and all sides can see who is really behind them now. It's just a matter of time before someone blinks, and when they do, all hell will break loose. The question is, which side? It's a foregone conclusion that the side who shoots first will lose. The damnedable part is that the US government is doing everything it can to provoke just about everyone in the world, including its own citizens. It is itching for a fight, but so far, no one will give it any satisfaction, and if it starts the fight, it will lose all credibility, though it has precious little remaining.

Profound changes are coming, even more so than those already past. Without a doubt, the side of evil and tyranny has already lost. It always does, but it never fails to keep trying. Insanity is a sad thing to witness. The rules are different this time around, though. No side has a fall-back position. It will be an all or nothing fight. What we on the good side must realize is that we can't succumb to their tactics. We must do something completely different.

We must take back the culture. We must extract ourselves from the means by which they control us, and that is done with media of all types. We must find alternative channels to communicate and educate and entertain. We must boycott the TeeVee and the movies and the radio. We must completely ignore all the avenues by which they project power into our lives.

Every eyeball, every eardrum, every taste bud becomes a weapon against our own minds and souls. Only by shutting them out completely can we hope to dismantle their ivory towers. If we unite, not in war or protest, but in truth and beauty and unity, we can destroy them without a single shot being fired or noose being strung. Just stop listening.

If no one listens to their talking heads, if no one buys their music, if no one reads their books, if no one goes to their movies, it will kill them as surly as any weapon. If we create our own counter-culture and refuse to let them usurp it, it will cause them to wither and die. Support bands who don't want a recording contract. Read books that don't have major publishers. Watch movies that aren't distributed by the major studios. Better yet, create your own and share it with your friends.

It's a strange concept and it seems all too simple. But it is, and it works. The 1960s in America was a radical time because the counter-culture was out of Their control. It didn't take long, though, for Them to absorb it by greed and avarice. They only win because we play their game.

It's time to change the rules.

Shoot The Moon

Who owns the Moon?

That may seem like a silly question, but in the coming year and beyond, it will become a major legal and political issue.

Forty years ago, the US landed six missions on the near side of the Moon. Oddly, those landing places trace out an upside-down pentacle. At each landing spot, they sprinkled some junk around the place, made some tracks in the dust, stuck a flag in it, and left. No one's been back, that we know of. The only presence publicly admitted are some bombings at the south pole by the US and Japanese.

Now, under the Law of Flags and international law, if someone finds an unclaimed bit of dirt and sticks a flag in it and makes some improvements, they can claim ownership. That's why European nations when sailing around for a few centuries sticking flags in things. Apparently, it didn't matter that there were godless heathens living there already, civilization trumped any claim they had. Besides, God was on the side of the Europeans, which is why they were able to rape, pillage and murder everything in sight and get away with it.

Then there's the law of abandonment. If you have a ship at sea, and you abandon it for whatever reason, then it belongs to anyone who occupies it next. Forty years with no follow-on missions, and plaques that read "We came in peace for all mankind." Certainly sounds like an open claim to me. Especially since Richard Nixon signed the plaques.

Let's say you homestead in Alaska. You find a suitable piece of tundra with no title or deed. You notice a pile of very old rubble in the middle with a sign that says, "We enjoyed it while we could." There's a tattered flag fluttering in the breeze, but otherwise there's no sign of humanity for a long way around. Accouding to any law I know of, if you stake it off and start improving it (mainly by cleaning up the rubble that was left there), it's yours. After some amount of time, usually five years, you can claim title to it and no one can say 'boo' about it.

Which brings us to the current situation. The US abandoned the Moon sites 40 years ago. They have made no attempt to return there or improve the sites. They have filed no claims of ownership, and until last year, had shown no signs of interest whatsoever in the place. In fact, they've gone out of their way to avoid the place. The US is now grounded and has no way to go to the Moon again, even if they wanted to.

Along come the Chinese, Japanese, Indians, Iranians, and Brazilians. They all have long-term goals in space, with the Chinese recently announcing it is official policy to land men on the Moon. If they do, and in fact, establish bases there with permanent occupation, who has a more legitimate claim to ANY spot on the Moon? The US, who officially abandoned the Moon 40 years ago, or the new nation with current operations there?

Under international law, the law of flags and the law of the high seas, the new nation will have exclusive rights. Part of establishing a claim is on-going improvements and the ability to defend the claim, with force if necessary. The US hardly qualifies under any of those terms. That means that the salvage rights belong to the next person to set foot there. All that gold foil, historic objects and antique electronics would fetch a nice price on eBay. And those moon buggies would be a blast to play with!

NASA has warned everyone not to go near their junk piles, yet they have absolutely no ability to stop anyone. Furthermore, when Apollo 12 landed near Surveyor III and the astronauts went over and started breaking off pieces to bring home, they set the precedent for those that follow. One could simply point to Al Bean salvaging older equipment as the model for doing a similar act years after a very public abandonment.

Certainly, one could raise a ruckus about Apollo 11 dregs. The UN could declare it a sacred place of ancient history, but there's nothing that prevents me from going there and clearing out anything of value, and no one to stop me. Only nobles oblige would stay my hand from dismantling all that nifty stuff to help pay for the trip.

Heck, even Andy Griffith did it in a TeeVee movie years ago, called 'Salavage 1.' NASA even ended up helping him. It was so forgettable that you can't even find stills from the show on Wikipedia or IMdB.

What really has my attention in all this is that it will force the hand of anyone holding back information. To listen to Richard Hoagland, Erol Torun, Mike Bara, or any of that ilke, there's artifacts galore up there, and they ain't all from the Apollo days. According to the scenario, NASA retrieved ancient technology from at least the Apollo 17 site, and quickly lost interest in rockets and other kid toys. For some reason, the Russians abandoned their Moon efforts about the same time, even though they were very close to landing their own guys up there. Even second would be pretty astounding news in such a race. Both of them appeared to bank on the fact that no one else had the tech or tallies to go to the Moon, so it sat as a dead topic for years, except for NASA occasionally trotting out the aging astronauts on anniversary dates.

What will the Chinese (or whoever) find when they get there? Why is NASA suddenly so interested in 'preservation' of historic sites? Why are a half-dozen countries suddenly in such a heat to get there? And what will be the outcome of the legal spiderweb that awaits Mankind's next small step?

I, for one, would love to see a private enterprise land an HDTV camera on a roving platform somewhere near Apollo 17's site, and make the pictures available to anyone who wants to look. Let the world see what's been hiding up there all these years, and what would make NASA lose interest in the Moon so suddenly and dramatically, until this past year. Considering the camera tech that is whizzing around Earth and Mars right now, the fuzzy pictures NASA released of the landing sites last year only prove that they went there. Well, anyone with any sense knew that, hare-brained conspiracies aside. So why can't we see the hi-rez versions where we can read the license plates on the rovers?

There's something up there that someone ain't talking about. This coming year will see some morsels plucked from NASA's plate and exposed.

Human history is far more interesting than we peons have been aloud to know. It's time to blow the lid off the hidden aspects of our collective past and reveal once and for all what and who we really are.

On the first day of my astrophysics class back in college, Professor Pinski opened with: Humans, when deprived of all time cues, such as the sun, moon and clocks, will naturally adopt a 25-hour wake-sleep cycle. Humans are the only creatures know that have such a cycle. All others are 24-hours. The only planet in the solar system with a 25-hour day is Mars. So where do we come from?

Something to think about as we wait for the Chinese to push things to the breaking point.

Into The Great Wide Open

Tyranny holds within itself the seed of its own destruction. At some point, the tyrant steals so much from those it would subjugate that they no longer have anything left to lose. For that reason, the subjugated masses will always rise up and destroy the tyrant when they have lost everything of value in their lives.

The uprising, at least in western history, typically gels when a technology comes along that undermines the tyrant's ability to control information. The control of information is crucial to a tyrant's rule. If the masses become privy to the same amount and quality of information, they no longer have a need for the tyrant.

The last time this happened in western history was the invention of the printing press, which led to the Protestant Revolution on the religious side, and the Renaissance on the the cultural side.

Gutenberg's mass printing of the Bible wrenched control of the central literature that had been used to subjugate people for centuries. Imagine living in a world where your whole life is controlled by a priviledged few who demand that you live according to the precepts of a book, yet that book can only be obtained by the priviledged few who are initiated into a secret cult called the priesthood. They enter a rarified realm where only they know what's actually in the book, and they only quote to us masses what they find applicable to maintaining the control of their positions.

Then along comes this German guy who applies information brought back from China by Marco Polo about the use of carved blocks in a rack to print multiple copies of documents in a very short amount of time. Before this point, information was controlled by economics. Making copies required paying literate people good money to sit around writing the same text over and over again. Suddenly, one man can arrange a rack of blocks with letters on them to form a written page. He put it into a modified wine press, and BLAMMO! He can crank out dozens of copies in a day, that would take scriveners weeks, if not months, to duplicate.

Under the prime law of economics, having enough of something for everyone to own one makes the price fall precipitously. So, Gutenberg spins out piles of Bibles, where rooms full of scribes used to produce one or two a month. The price falls and us normal people can afford to buy our own copy of the Bible and see for ourselves what was only hear-say before.

POOF! Instant revolution, because half the stuff the priests were telling us from the pulpit can't be found anywhere in the Bible. They just made it up and took a few out-of-context quotes to back them up.

On the cultural side, science and art exploded for the same reasons. In the old order of things, information and knowledge were only available to those who went up to university, and thus only the very rich had access it it. Being part of the elite, it was in their self-interest to keep that information to themselves.

Movable type suddenly burst on the scene bringing Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Euclid, and all the rest of it to the common man. This, in turn, caused a huge explosion of art, literature and science. People could read the classics for themselves and didn't need the expense of university educations to do it. Galileo, Newton, Copernicus, and da Vinci could publish their treatises for distribution directly to the masses. Art went from two-dimensional, hierarchical cartoons to three-dimentional realistic representations. Geometry, physics and philosophy were democratized, and that information expanded the mass' minds into new realms of thinking.

Ultimately, this explosion of thought and science led to the Enlightenment and the downfall of the European monarchies and seminal events like the American Revolution. A key factor in the latter event was pamphleteering, in which allowed people to organize across vast spaces. Benjamin Franklin's postal service delivered the information at unheard of speed and efficiency. The Pony Express pushed that ability into the wilderness of the frontier areas.

Now 500 years later, we stand at a very similar precipice. Three key and related technologies have emerged in our time that have further democratized information and sped up its dissemination to unimaginable speeds.

First, there was photography. This single invention had a profound affect on life. Folks no longer needed artists to render portraits or scenes, taking months to produce single copies. Now a camera could capture the actual photons from a subject and copies could easily be made.

Suddenly, art was freed from the need to render realistic subjects and could explore all the myriad forms that it has taken in the past 150 years. One didn't need to print a book, one could photograph the page and make hundreds of copies in the time it took the press to make dozens.

Cameras captured events that happened so fast that the human eye could not discern discreet processes within the event. Things like horses running and men doing things as simple as sneezing or throwing something were recorded. Science exploded again with new information and knowledge that led to vast new discoveries and technologies.

Then came the telephone. Now people didn't have to write and send things by post. They could actually hear the voice of the other person in real time, with all the emotion and reality of being present in the same room. And they could do it at increasing distances, until this moment when someone on the far side of the Earth can instantly communicate by text or voice with any other person on the opposite side of the planet! We have become blase about it, but if you are old enough, you remember having to use long-distance operators and telegraph offices and so on.

Finally, all of these technologies came together, including the printing press, in something called the internet. When you stop and think about it, this is a truly mind-blowing technology. Entire libraries and museums can now be delivered to your bedroom or office. You can examine the collected works of Monet from four museums in Paris, while chatting in real time with an art historian. You can customize your news feeds to offer stories that interest you, and you can get the news when you want without waiting for someone to deliver it to you at a pre-defined time. And you can go as deep into any story as you choose, and find independent commentary on it.

This is revolutionary stuff. Think how much power has been yanked out of the hands of the elite Though they are deperately trying to put the genie back in the bottle, they are finding it virtually impossible. The voice of dissent finds a way around the road blocks. Researchers and philosophers can get their ideas directly to a mass audience without gatekeepers. Home businesses can completely circumvent the massive chain stores and reach a global marketplace with minimal effort.

This is decentralized power the likes of which have never existed in our history. The social, educational and spiritual upheaval represented by this technology is incredibly profound. And it has the elite scared to death.

For centuries, the elite have enjoyed a complete monopoly on information. Even the printing press could be controlled to one extent or another, but in any case, change moved slow enough that they could prepare for it and seal the leaks.

With the internet, though, as fast as they build a dam, there are three channels going around it. How do you fight the flow of information when any individual with desire and patience can get the same information once only available to the select few? This has implications for nearly every stratum of society, and certainly every institution.

How do you control libraries when they are obsolete? How do you swindle money out of people for higher education, when all the materials are available free online?

Amateur astonomers are photographing exoplanets and posting online before the stuffy professional system can get around to it. Writers can self-publish their work without going to the publishing houses that can make or break careers at a whim. Independent researchers can link up in self-organized collectives. In fact, people of any stripe with common interests can come together from any part of the world and trade their ideas.

This completely destroys the entire framework of careful review and vetting that the elite have spent centuries installing to prevent us regular folks from accessing information. It blows away universities, peer review, publishing, libraries, museaums, institutions...literally everything. This kind of change is creating a social-political-spiritual upheaval the likes of which have never before been seen.

Life has already radically changed, and there is more to come. The old paradigm, mistakenly called the New World Order, is coming completely unraveled at break-neck speed. And what's even worse, at least for the elite, is that they have no where (literally) left to run or hide. If they fail this time, as it is becoming increasingly clear that they are, they can not regroup and rebuild. They are completely without dark corners in which to hide.

In all of human history, at least far as we have been allowed to know it, nothing like this has ever happened before. Those of us alive now are literally treading on new ground. There are no rules for this realm. We are without precedent. Literally everything that has come before is being swept away. We are truly standing at the threshold to the unknown.

We no loner have to fight the NWO or the elite. They are already doomed. The last few kicks and flops are just St. Vitus' dance for those institutions. Our job now is to figure out where we go from here. It is up to us to set a course for the future. It's a mighty big task, too. For good or ill, we can not rely on anything that has gone before. This is the time for visionaries or demagogues. Either we formulate and emulate true leaders and people with vision, or we devolve into a state of existence so vile and so demeaning that none of us can imagine such a thing. We really have a choice now. We own the future. The only question remaining is whether we will seize the opportunity to create, or squander it on destruction.
