I matter much

but I don't matter most

I am infinite in possibilities

but still there id the host

The One that lies inside me

matters more than I

The One that leans to guide me

and will save me when I daie

So yes I really matter

But I do not stand alone

Inside of me is the One

that calls my heart home

Developing the ability

to recognize the Christ

in all people

is an increasing awareness

that the world not only owes you nothing

but rather

that it supplies your every need

and then

on top of that

sends hordes

of strangers

to check your level

of appreciation and conscious awareness,

for there is no way

that the Universe

could give you all

of this

without the pathway

to learn how to become aware

of just how great a gift

it really is.

Your Gift

Collect Call

Wouldn't it be easy

if you could call God on the phone

Wouldn't you be happy

you could talk to Him all day long

Wouldn't you be smiling

didn't cost you one thin dime

Wouldn't you be grateful

didn't get no busy line

Let me tell you how easy it is

to give God a telephone call

You might drop down to your knees

but it don't take nothing at all

you look up to the heavenly skies

and give thanks to the One and All

or just say hey

God

Accept this collect call

Wouldn't you be shining

cause your call went right on through

Wouldn't you be lifted

when the machine said how do you do

Wouldn't you feel comfort

Cause you were not all alone

Wouldn't you be welcome

Cause He heard you in His home

And He'll shake his head

and He'll give a laugh (ha, ha, ha {in the background})

I accept all the charges

so put the call right on through

Now you could be reverent

and bow your head in prayer

Or you could be helpless

not even know that He is there

or you could be grateful

When He did not let you fall

Oh wouldn't it be easy

You could just give Him a call

If you lived each day as if it were a Lifetime-
Imagine The Possibilities...

If you forgave all wrongs, believed in what's right, healed old wounds, fought your best fight-
Imagine your Victories...

If you stopped putting off for Tomorrow, the happiness you could experience Today-
Imagine All Dreams Coming True...

If you dropped the limitations you've placed on yourself and embraced the situation for real without help-
You'd Awaken The New One called "YOU".

Not the you people always told you to be.
Not the you in the Group filed by Gender or Faith.
Not the you that's expected to go or to wait.
Not the you in that Job or the you with that Mate.

Just The You That was Born, to be just who YOU are.
The YOU that cries out to you no one else hears... Begging for something held back by your Fears.

BE YOU every moment you have on this Earth. Don't pretend or defend cause its wasting your years, your days, your minutes, your seconds left here.

Importance

I stand here ready to take a step

in a direction yet enhanced

and as my feet press the sand

my toes began to dance

For the direction it was

lost to others who tread

but not to me who took that step

unfearing of what might be said

So my little step unto the sand

was one that was for me

I am told I found perfection

in the reflection that I see

Funny how I perceived perfection

wasn't always me

But as I look much closer

at the cracks and smudges too

I notice the destiny clearly

when before I didn't have a clue

So perfection in the mirror

really isn't that far of a cry

So here I go with a leap of faith

The core of all is what we are the center of all is an amazing star,
We each are an energy part of that so join the chain of eternity, for all that is,
Have fun share that love, enjoy who you are ,never forget what you are ,
Some throw sticks and stones make fun ,cause pain , oh forgive them I say they
they know no better even if only shows some how ignorant they can be . Not that we cant read
you see its just not taken on board for we know deep down they mean no harm they
are their own critics have come out and shown another mask you see So forgiveness
is part of love and charity .we are a mixed bunch of that we are just like the salad
thrown in a bowl so you can see what comes out is made for eternity
whilst here on earth we have many faces some Pained, Angry, Lost ones too,
Justice for all Is my greatest joy to see.in the whole of for balance in life plays
a great part in the mystery .

‘My Choice’

Today,

I do not wish to browbeat

Neither do I want to compete

I just choose to be solemn and still

And to honour the Source with my own free will

I want to wrap up my being entirely

Put a cover around my head

And to walk around quietly

Be by Spirit lead, instead.

Today,

I choose not to talk about trivial things

To gossip, slander or clip anybody’s wings

I just choose to stay quiet, remain abstinent

Before the One on whom I am completely reliant

I choose not to quibble on silly matters

Nor to endlessly dribble till my real truth scatters

Nor do I constantly want to state my opinion

As though firing words as ammunition

Today

I choose to stay calm, and silent

To remain steadfastly quiet

Free from agitation and wordiness

Of right or wrong I do not obsess.

I choose to be free, from any conclusions

The Candle is lit

Because of the Resurrection, the Paschal candle is now lit.

It will light our path as God sees fit.

No longer will we need to stumble in darkness.

All creation is eternally blessed.

The candle flame is burning bright.

Millions of Pilgrims now walk in the light.

Christ the Alpha and Omega carries the candle.

God chose Christ to be his holy mantle.

The King of Kings illuminated the way.

Christ is the light of endless day.

Christ is the sun that caresses our cheeks.

It is the gift of God for those who seek.

Rejoice greatly for the light is near.

Walk in the light without hesitation or fear.

The light will lead those who stay the course.

Walk in the light without any remorse.

The candle is lit will you carry the torch?

Surrendering the HOW
sounds like an easy task
not too much to ask;
Surrendering the HOW...
but can I do it NOW?
I am THAT I am,
A part of the Great I AM,
and I think I can...
surrender the HOW, that is,
if it’s not a scam.
Would you like to?
Are you psyched too?
Do you want to surrender the HOW?
Let’s take a look, friend.
Noses out of books then,
and find the place of WOW.
WOW, the capital of OZ,
I wouldn’t lie; it was;
stands for World of Wonder!
Bolts of lightening...please!
Now the sound of thunder!
WOW is where all the HOWS,
once surrendered, live.
It’s where we self forgive.
Are you interested in
surrendering the HOW?
It would mean less worry,
less having to hurry,
and less being sorry.
I do not like to worry.
I do not like being sorry.
Sorry.
“But I want to know how
things could possibly work out!”
I hear you jump and shout:
“GOD, GIVE ME SOME CLOUT?”
OK. I would like some too.
CLOUT, that is.
I don’t need to be a wiz,
but I would like not just a little,
for having just a piddle,
would be like playing a fiddle
while Rome burns...yada yada...
and will not help me solve the riddle.
What riddle?
Surrendering the HOW, of course.
For while it sounds like giving up,
it’s a veritable Living Cup,
the proverbial and valiant white horse.
“Surrender the HOW?” you say.
“I’m not a quitter,
just a dream sitter,
waiting for them to hatch.”
Is it so hard giving up the struggle,
or is it admitting you’re a Muggle?
Ah, therein lies the catch!
I want some Harry Potter magic!
Get rid of all life’s static.
Have all things democratic;
but I would not,
I could not,
wave a magic wand
and all my cares be gone.
You might say, “I’d like it.”
But you would soon see
you’d miss having the satisfaction,
the sense of responsibility.
For while we say
we’d like all our problems solved,
and, at that, in a jiffy,
the thought of losing all the glory
of telling our own little story
sounds just a wee bit iffy.
Surrendering the HOW
isn’t selling out the sacred COW!
It’s saying...I trust
because I must
or I’ll ever be in the dark.
And being in the dark
is no picnic in the park.
In fact, I’d say it’s rather stark.
I want multi-colored socks,
I want to out-sly the clever fox.
I want to live outside the box.
I want to hop on a train of thought
and not have it be for naught.
Surrendering the HOW...
Ah! I get it now.
Do my thing.
Don’t forget to sing.
Take out life’s sting
by removing fear and doubt.
Know that no matter what I see,
the best is yet to be,
and that a higher power
has it all figured out.

All living Things are a Sacrament Divine

All Living things are a sacrament divine.

All living things are a sacrament divine.

Every breath we take is a sacramental sign.

All life is sacred and holy.

Life is in all the beauty we see.

God’s covenant shines on all who breathe.

It is God’s tapestry we weave.

Be kind to all living creatures in need.

Their unconditional love is God’s universal creed.

Animals can be angels in disguise.

This was known by the spiritually wise;

All animals instinctively know a divine presence.

They can sense and feel God’s very essence.

All living things are a sacrament divine.

This is a testament to God’s holy design.

Journey into Jerusalem

He rode on a donkey crowned as king.

He knew what action this would bring.

With Palms at his feet, Hosanna they cried.

All hope for his safety now suddenly died.

They traveled near and far to hear this holy man speak.

He gave a message for those who did earnestly seek.

The Scribes tried in vain to trap him then and there.

The bulk of the multitude didn’t really care.

God’s anointed calmly stood his ground.

Those who understood; the great truths were to be found.

The religious leaders left to orchestrate his demise.

They banded together and formulated their cowardly lies.

In the next few days Christ would suffer and be betrayed.

The greatest human drama was now to be played.

He died, he arose and transcended time and space.

All those who believed spoke with him face to face.

Online Poetry
The Nativity is a gift of Redemption

The Nativity is a gift of Redemption.

But few theologians give this a mention.

Christ was born in human form to bring a dark world light.

It was a magical mysterious night.

God had entered in human affairs.

Satan laughed and said, “No one really cares”.

But the fact was God really cared and had to act.

God knew that Light and Love would have its full impact.

He loved his children as any parent would.

He alone knew man and in a small way, man understood.

The heavenly realm watched this divine drama unfold.

The Gift of Redemption could now be told.

God’s divine plan was now set in place.

Redemption is now freely available to the whole human race.

When we think of Nativity, let us think of God’s plan of redemption.

Dwell on the Nativity scene; Redemption is worth a mention.

THE NADA DOCTRINE

("Nada" is Spanish for "Nothing," and the Nada (or Nothing) Doctrine, according to Saint John of the Cross and other Catholic mystics, is the first law for successful contemplative prayer).

Before we start we must empty our minds of any distraction.
We must set in motion a complete and utter union.
Find a quiet place, your very own sanctuary of peace.
Let our daily thoughts decrease.
Seek emptiness and quietness as our quest.
Allow your brainwaves to slowly come to rest.
Visualize an all-encompassing light.
The very presence of the eternal illuminates the night.
Allow the Divine to empower you with action and love.
God is now with you, not faraway or high above.
Pray and speak with purity and humble acclamation.
There is no more discord or derision.
Break through the earthquake, wind and fire.
O still small voice of calm.
Gods voice is the everlasting balm.
The power of the mind and ego has now been sublimated.
You are one with God and God is now with you.
These words are very real and true.
Pray now for God is understanding and active.
To maintain that link we must be vigilant and proactive.
The Life Force of all created worlds is sitting with you.
It is God alone that can make all things new.

A Different Christmas Poem

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.

The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.
My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear..
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the
sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.
My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.

Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.
A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

"What are you doing?" I asked without fear,
"Come in this moment, it's freezing out here!
Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!"
For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..

To the window that danced with a warm fire's light
Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right,
I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night."
"It's my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.

No one had to ask or beg or implore me,
I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died at ' Pearl on a day in December,"
Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers."
My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam ',
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.

I've not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile.
Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue... an American flag.
I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.

I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother..
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.."

" So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I'll be all right."
"But isn't there something I can do, at the least,
"Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast?
It seems all too little for all that you've done,
For being away from your wife and your son."

It's Christmas again

Christmas has rolled around once again.
It can drive the most organized person insane.
Commercially it is a busy time that can cause stress.
With parties and functions there is little time to rest.
The true message is misunderstood or lost.
It is not wonderland with artificial frost.
It represents a new beginning, a rebirth.
God manifested himself on earth.
A time when values changed and love had a voice.
It ushered in new hope, a time to rejoice.
Christmas is a time to greet neighbors and strangers.
This is one of the many gifts of the Manger.
A special time for all of us to reflect,
Animals and pets we should not neglect.
Christmas is the gift of redemption.
Sadly this rarely gets a mention.

Thanking God

DEAR GOD:

I want to thank You for what you have already done. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now.. I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears ; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until the children are asleep and the house is quiet; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I get promoted at work or until I get the job; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until I understand every experience in my life that has caused me pain or grief; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed;
I am thanking you right now. I am thanking you because I am alive. I am thanking you because I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because I have walked around the obstacles.

I am thanking you because I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.

I'm thanking you because FATHER, YOU haven't given up on me.

Before I dream may I hope for You.
Before I long may I reach for You.
Before I judge may I listen to You.
Before I rush may I rest with You.

Before I shout may I call on You.
Before I doubt may I hear from You.
Before I brag may I point to You.
Before I fear may I trust in You. 

Before I act may I remember You . . .
So that in these things, in all I do,
