My twin boys are wearing the Silhouette Button Down in a 100% cotton, summer sage design. These outfits are perfect for church or any outing where you want a dressy-casual look. I also love how you can coordinate the looks between girls and boys.

My daughter is wearing the Silhouette 'Lillian' Dress with matching baby doll dress. This apron-styled dress offers a 100% cotton, pink and green floral design and will be a favorite all summer.

Elasticized back and two button positions on the straps will keep this dress fitting well throughout the year. The dress is also fully lined.

The cuteness is too much for words!

About a month or so ago, I was given the opportunity to review The Beast recliner in Roscoe.
Best Home Furnishings offers many different shapes, colors and sizes of recliners, and I picked The Beast since my husband is 6'6 and has a hard time comfortably fitting into any piece of furniture as it is.

The Beast takes oversized recliners to new lengths. The extra-large, hand-assembled hardwood frame reclines to a full 83" and is tested to withstand more than 400 pounds of everyday use (per their website).

As you can see from this photo above, my 6'6 husband has no problem getting comfortable in this recliner! In fact, I hardly ever get the chance to sit in it because he won't sit anywhere else!

It's also my children's favorite place to sit.

Platinum Glo Airbrush Tanning's "Tan Can" is a quick and easy way to achieve that beautiful tanned glow anytime and anywhere.

There are plenty of at-home spray tanning products out there, and I've used quite a few, but I've found this one to be my personal favorite.

The biggest thing I noticed right away is that it smells wonderful! Usually I hate the smell spray tans leave on my skin, and it's one of my biggest complaints. Platinum Glo's Tan Can reminds me of the smell of Hawaiian Tropic products that I used to use back in the day. Just a nice beachy scent.

You start by having exfoilated skin, free from perfumes or lotions.

I also put on latex gloves just to ensure I didn't get any on the palms of my hands.

Hold the can 8 to 10 inches away from you skin and begin spraying.

Keep the can moving slowly and let the mist coat your skin.

I then used my hand (covered by the latex gloves) to blend the spray evenly over my skin. I moved my hand in small, circular motions until I felt it was well blended.

The whole process is quick, easy and dries super fast.
I also didn't shower for 4-6 hours after application.

Here is a photo of my legs (left leg is 2 hours after application and nothing on my right leg).
You can keep coating your skin to achieve your desired tan. As time went on, my skin became a little darker than what you see here.

I am so happy with the results. No orange legs (as have happened with some at-home tanning products in the past).

Platinum Glo uses a purple base, not green, and that's why you won't get that orange, oompa-loompa look ;)

I recently visited The Deli At Pecan Square for dinner with my family. As soon as you walk in, you immediately feel that warm, welcoming feeling. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful and the decor is pleasing to the eye.

We sat down, strapped the twins into the high chairs, put Grace in a booster seat, met our wonderful server and started to look over the menu.

The Deli At Pecan Square serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, 7 days a week from 9-9 Mon-Fri and 8-9 Sat & Sun.

They also offer catering, carryout and delivery.

We ordered chicken fingers with french fries for the kids, my husband ordered a Greek salad and I ordered their made-from-scratch goulash. I was born and raised in Northwest Pennsylvania, so I grew up on goulash and was pretty excited to see it on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

The portions are wonderfully HUGE! They definitively don't skimp when it comes to portion size.

The salads were colorful and crisp, the garlic bread was wonderful and the goulash was just like mom makes. Everything was delicious!

The best way I can describe the atmosphere while eating, is that (coming from an Italian family), it reminded me of big family dinners where everyone was around the table enjoying the food and each other's company.

There definitely is a feeling of family there and I absolutely love that.

We ordered their homemade strawberry pretzel salad (another favorite of mine growing up in PA) and had to get it to go since we were so full from dinner. The pretzel salad was perfect! I must say I was a little jealous, as I think I make the best strawberry pretzel salad around ;)

How to Make an Easy, Relaxing Tropical Body Scrub:

Now that spring is in full bloom its time to breakout the shorts and tennis rackets. But just like the flowers, your coat may need a little love before its ready to shine. Taking time to exfoliate from the harsh winter months will not only benefit your skin but also allow you to take some much needed me-time in your hectic schedule.

Coming from a family of travelers, I have had the pleasure of visiting 28 countries on 6 continents. Each and every trip has had its own unique memories and amenities; but when it comes to relaxation, Hawaii receives an A+. One of my favorite relaxation remedies comes from the island of Oahu and the Halekulani Hotel and Spa. Rated as one of Honolulu’s top hotels for spa treatments, their house body scrub left my skin renewed and my mind at ease. In contrast to other spas, this body scrub consisted of holistic ingredients, many of which could be found right on the island. And after chatting with my spa therapist, I was able to bring home the key tips to recreating the Mango Body Scrub right in my own home.

Mango Body Scrub

What You’ll Need:

1 mango, chopped
1/4 cup of instant oats
1 cup of castor sugar
1 Tbs of sweet almond oil
4 drops of orange essential oil
1 Tbs pineapple juice

Step 1:

Peel the mango and cut into large pieces. Add the mango and oats in a blender and blend until mixture forms a paste. I use the pulse button to make sure large pieces are broken up while ensuring the mixture doesn’t become too much of a liquid.

Step 2:

Pour the paste into a bowl and add the remaining oils and juices. Stir until blended.

Step 3:

Next, add 1 cup of sugar in the mixing bowl. Stir the mixture until it has an even consistency. If you feel your scrub is too fluid, you may add more sugar to adjust the consistency.

Step 4:

Rinse your face with warm water. Apply the scrub evenly over your body and massage it into your skin, working in small, tight circles in an outward motion.

Step 5:

Rinse with lukewarm water after using the scrub and pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Follow the scrub with your regular moisturizer.

This simple, easy to make scrub is something that you can prepare pretty much any time, without breaking the bank. Using it about once per week can help keep your skin looking smooth and radiant, even on a tight schedule. Enjoy!

I'm so happy I finally decided to try Scentsy! Scentsy are wick-less candles that are melted in warmers instead of burned. They smell amazing and the warmers make great decorative pieces.

I really love how Mr. Pencil uses a larger tracing area that progressively gets smaller as your child masters that skill. Brilliant!

The Historic Atlantic Hotel In Berlin, MD

If you're like most who visit Maryland's Eastern Shore, then you probably stay somewhere along its shores, whether it be bay side (St. Michaels, Crisfield, Smith Island) or ocean side (Ocean City, Assategue).

But did you know, that nestled just 10 miles west of Ocean City is the historic town of Berlin? If you were driving to Ocean City, you most likely drove right past it and didn't know it.

All it takes is a stroll down main street to see that Berlin is rich in history.

At the corner of Main Street and Jefferson Street, you'll find the historic Atlantic Hotel. If Berlin were a beautiful, antique ring, then the Atlantic Hotel would be its center gem.

Built in 1895, this three-story, Victorian hotel was restored in 2009 with all accommodations featuring authentic antique furniture, accessories, beautiful hand-ironed 100% cotton bedding with feather bed toppers, luxury bathroom amenities and terry toweling, spa style robes and a touch of modernity with flat screen TVs in every room. The hotel was also used in the filming of Runaway Bride with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

The Atlantic Hotel offers 18 Victorian Period Guest DeLuxe and Standard Rooms, Junior Suites and a full Suite, plus a Gardner's Cottage for Honeymooners and for Special Event Stays.

When you enter the hotel's front entrance, you'll find the hotel office on your left and the famous Drummer's Café to your right. The restaurant seats up to 80 people indoors with additional outdoor seating for up to 30 on a screened-in porch and on the Atlantic Lawn. The restaurant features casual lite fare dining from 11 am to closing and fine dining from 5 pm to closing.

My husband and I ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delectable!

My husband ordered a chicken fettuccine dish and I had the special of the night, which was crusted cod, topped with jumbo lump crab meat over cheese ravioli. The portions were pleasantly large and everything was delicious.

The hotel also features a Ballroom which is available year round for Luncheons, Dinners, Receptions and Fundraisers seating up to 80 people or up to 125 for Cocktail Receptions.

We stayed on a Friday night and they were getting the ballroom ready for a wedding reception that was scheduled for Saturday.

We received our room key to "The Blue Room" #14, which is an Elegant, Queen, DeLuxe Corner room that overlooks the Historic District and Main Street of the Village of Berlin.

Our room featured a gorgeous, mahogany, antique headboard that crowned a beautiful Queen size bed adorned with a feather bed topper. To the right of the bed sat a matching marble top dresser with antique accessories.

The full bath was beautiful with its antique claw-footed tub with shower, small hand bowl and Gilchrist & Soames bathroom amenities. Hung on the back of the door were two luxurious, white spa robes to help us feel even more relaxed.

This is a photo I Instagrammed while I was relaxing in the antique claw-footed tub...pure tranquility.

One of my favorite parts of the hotel were the hallways with their beautiful antique furnishings and photos.

And at the center of the hotel, on the first floor of guest rooms, is the Ladies' Parlor.

This is where Victorian women would go to sit and converse while the men were downstairs at the bar. The French doors open to a small balcony that overlooks Main Street below.

Hung on the hotel walls are portraits of Eastern Shore families during the Victorian era that really give the hotel an authentic, Victorian feel, as well as showcase local history.
Walking up and down the halls, I could picture myself in a fancy, Victorian dress (an era I'm so in love with).

This is The Richard Gere Room, #20. The same room used in the late 90's film, "Runaway Bride."

This is The Elizabeth room, #12. Such a pretty room.

These are just a few of the gorgeous rooms available at the Atlantic Hotel.
They even have a charming Gardner's Cottage on Jefferson Street, just behind the hotel.
A great place for a private, romantic getaway.

So the next time you're visiting Maryland's Eastern Shore, or even if you are local to the area, make sure to spend a night or two at the historic Atlantic Hotel in Berlin, Md. This gorgeous hotel is sure to take you back to a time of beauty and romance!

It Works! Ultimate Body Applicator Round 2

You might remember my previous post where I tried out one It Works! wrap on my stomach and the results I achieved (Click HERE to view).

I won't go into detail again about how you use them or how they work since I talk about that in my last post, but I did want you to read my results for this 2nd time using the wraps.

This time I was able to try 4 wraps. I used 1 on my stomach, 1 (cut in half) on my upper arms, 1 (cut in half) on my upper thighs, and then the last one I used again on my stomach after the first 72 hours had passed.

I actually took photos and even recorded a video, however, I accidentally erased my card! (not the first time either)

I did record my results though and I'll share them with you:

Total inches lost:

Upper arms: Just under 1" for both (after 72 hours)

Stomach: 2" lost (after 6 days and 2 wraps)

Upper thighs: 1" for both (after 72 hours)

I, again, am extremely happy with the results and I will shout it from the rooftops that It Works! Wraps really do work!

I had a wedding that was coming up, and I used the wraps the week before. It was so nice to not worry about any puffiness I had around my stomach area, and I also loved the firmness in my upper arms.
