We went to the vet in Crockett the other day. Took the horse and a cow & calf. Even though we spent the whole time in the truck it was good to get out and we were relieved that we didn't have to see the vet.

Last week our human took Chili to the vet. She's been favoring her left rear leg. Come to find out Chili is TOO FAT. She's 7.3 pounds. She has bad knees anyway and with added weight, well you get the picture. I made the trip to the vet today got my rabies shot and picked up the new food. Vet tech said I'm not fat, you can feel my ribs and I was even told I was muscular! (But it wouldn't hurt for me to loose a pound or two.) This new food leaves much to be desired. Its definitely not Cesar. I ate mine with long teeth. Chili was starving and ate every bit of hers. To add insult to injury -- no more treats in the morning either.

They came in about two weeks ago. The Robins, that is. Our human is obsessed with these birds. She loves them, says they are her favorite. We'd like to try one, since she's starving us to death. Getting past the feathers would be a breeze.
