Carter is convinced that Mrs Claus knitted this Moose hat for Landry and that Wally the Elf told her that he and Josh call Landry "Moosey" sometimes. She got that name because since we brought her home she has put her hands up on her head when we put her on the changing table.

I just finished reading A Very Special Delivery, by Linda Goodnight.  This was a good little story that happens to be another freebie for Kindle.  It is a quick read and falls in the category of Christian Fiction.  The two main characters are dealing with issues from their past and both feel that they will never be good enough or deserve true happiness.

I finished reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins a couple of weeks ago.  This is the final book in The Hunger Games Trilogy.  I liked this one least of all.  I felt like the story was the same old, same old as the other two books.  I am excited to see how the books translate onto the big screen.  I saw a preview the last time I was at the movie theater and have to say it looks pretty darn

I am so behind on this little ole' bloggy!  I am still reading, but not as quickly as I once was.  Now I am pretty much only reading while I am pumping because after everyone is in bed and things are ready for the next day I am exhausted.

I really enjoyed reading Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins.  This is the second of three in the Hunger Games.  I highly recommend reading this trilogy.

Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary Halloween Party

This is the first year the FOP Auxiliary has been around and we decided to do something fun for the kids by having a Halloween Party.  There was a D.J. busting out some jams, there was a cupcake walk, face painting, games and yummy food.  The kids had a great time playing games and dancing around.

Kindergarten Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

On Monday, October 17th all three kindergarten classes had a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch.  Carter's class started at the petting zoo.  They were able to feed some of the animals and the guy running that part had to cut them off because 20 little kids kept running back to him for more food.

After the petting zoo the kids went through a corn

This year Thanksgiving was pretty low key for us.  I was planning on making deviled eggs to take to my mom's the night before but she called and said she would make them for me so we didn't have any cooking or baking to do.  Josh and Carter had an itch to do some cooking so while dinner was in the oven they decided to make a Pumpkin Pie and ended up turning our kitchen into their restaurant.
