I stand in awe when i see a NASA launch or when i see pictures from the ISS.

It is truly incredible that we could fathom getting to the moon or living in space yet a Canadian will be in space for another 6 months.

War and debt are ways of lying to the people we get two governments who disagree and force there populations to war, Revolts and revolutions are a different story usually one government controls its people and segregate themselves from other countries.

Financial gain is a dream,sure there will always be people not with per say Money but gold items of value throughout history many have owned castles, vineyards, cars and live in luxury while its nice to see few benefit from technology its a shame we dont have enough of it to go around.

I love my country but is the current democratic system working. Our environment is going to hell, No one can get a stable full time job with a pension, our political party argue about everything,all for money and we dont even have that we are in Debt.

So my question is why do we stand back and accept it.
trick question. We haven't been taught how, or why we should challenge the Norm. When we do its not from Harvard graduates while people who have ideas might be right the education and influence gets attention and draws importance to the issue at hand.

Why do the people who make and sell get more than the ones who work and build. the idea that a ceo of charmin can have a 8 figure salary should mean that anyone doing something more important than sellin tolit paper richer. sadley that is not reality logic does not work in a society.

why do firefighters make less than a pro athelete because the idea of selling a sport to millions is more valuable than life and this can be proven just by turning on you tv or computer or video game. why is it more fun to be rich than poor nether kill us or change us. we need food water shelter and something to pass the time

Who controls the world. obviously it is not the president of the USA, it is safe to say at one point Americas leader was the most powerful man on the planet it didn't matter if you were a billionaire or on social security you step out of line and that man had the power to crush you. now the times have changed and companies had to invest elsewhere. the middle east is on fire...literally oil fields where selling like crack down in Saudi Arabia. So now we live in a world where the president is afraid of apple because they could use there media influence to crush the presidency. Well when you think of it it sounds right. we see celebrities being torn apart by media every day it has become a fascination. WHO GIVES A SHIT IF ______ HAD A GREAT SCENE. its a movie/show/etc.
what i am trying to get at is it is not the super wealthy that control the power it is you and I. companies figured that out a long time ago and ever since they have stuck to the same god damn routine. 1. TV shows littered with advertisements. 2.commercials during your program. 3. written and printed media. 4. Web based media.
Everywhere you go they can follow because they know exactly what you are going to do we are programmed to buy, love, be sad, rinse and repeat. Why do you love someone. is it because of a natural bond with a person if so why do 50% of marriages fall apart. well i wonder if that whole love thing has to do with a grand scheme like settling down in a nice house sitting down to diner with the kids. church on Sunday valentines day crap. We are to smart to live in this world. companies don't want you to take the blinders of your eyes because if you got pissed at apple. Microsoft would use that to there advantage its all competitive. which I believe it one of the only true desires in a humans life. you constantly desire more, the hottest girl nicest house with the nicest stuff with a rad body. We have a built in computer that tells us to want. our brain evolved so we could survive. well now surviving means having a mad up piece of paper with a face and number one it. what happened if america got bombed tomorrow, money would be worthless no one wants it except you and I. the government doesn't even want it look at the 9 trillion dollar debt.

Democracy and why we need to change it.

As I posted before about maximum wage i've received some emails regarding if im a socialist, and yes I do believe i am. Though that doesn't mean I don't like our current system democracy and having a free market in ways are good but in a fast developing era we must adapt to the world view. It has only been around since the Greeks and they only touched on democracy before changing it completely. In our day and age we simply cannot have multiple types of governments and once we rid that problem countries will not be singled out for being communist having a monarchy or having a single leader. Democracy before computers and the "global village" was near perfect but now presidents have to meet with dictators who have opposite views.

If we can create a democratic government that respects each countries views and still has a benefit for current leaders the world can move on from wars, and move as on humanity moving forward.

How much is to much

I was at work talking with my manager when the thought of a possible maximum wage popped into my mind. If someone can work for minimum wage, what would be an acceptable maximum, and should it be a set maximum for every person or a limit to the employment you are currently in.
I do not believe in cutting wages just because im not as rich or i believe it could be used on taxes but in the same regard why not have a limit just due to value of the dollar. Also if we set a stock brokers maximum wage to $15,000,000 ten years from now maybe that sum of money will be worth less. It would be safe to say that if there was a maximum, including government jobs the country could then more accurately direct funds into the right areas of the economy as well as being able to remove the income tax and replace it with some new reformed version of it.
Now that I've said my logical reasons for it there is also the emotional and experience side of it.I know for a fact personally i would not like the limit because the land of opportunity has now turned into an automated logic system that rewards you for doing more important jobs. As i typed that i knew that one part of myself was leaning still towards no never i want to have a free economy were i can make trillions of dollars if i can come up with such a way of doing it, and that is my right in a capitalistic democratic country. The other side of me however was screaming out how amazing the economy would be if it was all computerized and all human error was removed from the equation.
Example; John,Mary,young son live in a 3 bedroom house, market value $375,000, John works as a regional manager for local super center. For the last twelve years John has been loyal to the company and each year is rewarded a $1,000 raise to his $85,000 a year salary . Mary works part time making 20,000 a year. The total income each year for the family is $105,000. The places of employment as well as the governments responsibly to send taxes and census messages have been eliminated to be replaced by a computer that automatically links everything together using social media online banking online tax reports, no person would have to file taxes or fill the census there files are constantly being updated and the main computer would be giving the government every detail for every citizen.

What are your thoughts on maximum wage let me know what you think.

I was listening to some classic rock today and had this rush of memories from my days of sitting in st.Chris listening to pink Floyd and Kiss on my CD player. This made me think of the millions of people around the world who can listen to any crap that's put on the market, Rebbecca black made the biggest pile of crap Ive ever heard I don't want to even act nice about it she is not a musician and cannot write or sing plain and simple. Now I went on YouTube and saw that her song has 140,307,000 views. 140 million views think of that she has been seen by the population of Canada four times over. Now Rebbecca black is the exception, other artists these days seem to be releasing the same crap, this Ive noticed has been exponentially increasing since the death of p2p downloading, lime wire was the last free program that people really used now its all YouTube to mp3, and all of the music is made by some cocaine head on his laptop remixing songs to have some mind crushing beat playing over and over until he takes another rail and decides to add a drop to the song. Some times this music can be listen to even I listen to it but usually only when on some hard drug or to fucked up to even care about music.

Why cant people listen to good music anymore it seems that no one likes instruments anymore and even if they do have them its just some auto tuned crap whose band only ever has one hit. No one person can fix this it must be a movement the youth of today must bring back good music, bands inspired by the greats like led zeppelin pink Floyd the rolling stones heck even the Beatles instead of being the lazy generation we should use are talents towards real art, we have taken the easy way out like we seem to do with everything recently and that's constantly remixing the same music over and over.

The Effects of pot and being sober in my life

Tonight I sit while sorting out my thoughts, I have been sober for awhile now and in no way do I plan on staying like that. At the same time the feeling of euphoria I gain from smoking pot or sipping back some captain m comes in realizing things i would not notice while under the influence. I feel like two people stuck in one body surrounded by a constantly changing environment, for example if i smoke pot for three weeks then go sober for awhile once i go back to being high I feel like Ive just woken up from a deep sleep. I cant explain it any further then that except for this one feeling I keep at all times and it is the feeling of being out of sync. If I continue to be sober I have a fear of losing half of myself, and in extended periods without any substances I can actually notice how i change and that is one of the scariest things that has ever happened. I did some studying on this subject to see if this happens to many other smokers and to my surprise it is one of the most common things linked to smoking pot. Basically what the team that did the study said was that people who smoke lots or have smoked for long time and suddenly quit have a feeling of a part of them die.

The problem I have run into is that the same group of researchers are still conducting the ten year study and has just entered the second phase which is the five year mark in which they start to give the smokers that piece of them back.

I know this is not like my previous posts, though I feel it is important to tell all of my readers that my first two posts were done while i was sober for some time and the newer ones were while i was under the influence. this post however like i said is done at my breaking point, the middle ground between being sober for so long that all the THC is leaving my mind and making my mind go bland all the colours i see are becoming dimmer and less interesting by the moment and this will continue for i expect the next nine to twelve hours at which point the world around me will become ugly and uninteresting and even the mere thought of life before my soberness will cease to exist in my memory.

This however is not depressing, once i come back to complete reality I begin to think completely logically, my attention Span returns to normal my thought process begins to sort it self out and i stop dwelling in the past, which is the most depressing part of smoking pot. Even the complete feeling of euphoria i gain from pot has its downside. i begin to notice that Ive made many mistakes in my life and Ive hurt many people and while i am in that state i feel like i have to make it up to those people but i cant while smoking pot so i stop for awhile and the cycle begins once again.

Being in the middle right now i can honestly say my mistakes have been made and the past will remain the past and while i continue to live in the past i do not move forward with my own life which is the absolute worst.

Now i have dragged this a little to far and i think i should wrap this all up, I will close this post by simply saying that a major change to my life is necessary and that is what i plan to do, i will be honest to people i have lied to i will finish school save some money and move some were peaceful and far away, if you feel the same or have any expanded thoughts let me know.

Now life has a funny way of playing out im seventeen on my way to soon be that special age of 18, were kids grow up turn into adults leave high school and do something with there lives. Does everyone though of course there are the few that drop out and again there are the few who stay longer in school, and once again there are the few that must leave there home when they turn 18 and are thrust into adulthood without much warning. Do three fews make a many, How about all the people that go and take some course and end up hating it changing majors and fall out of the system finaly falling upon a job that pays more then minimum wage.

In fact it turns out that the people who manage to stay at home graduate take a post secondary course and stick with it to earn a degree are becoming the minority. My thoughts instantly flew to the government then the school system then minimum wage, taxes so on until it really hit me. corporation are a devil in disguise from god if that makes any sense, they feed off of people who cant earn $30+/hour they pay employees whatever the government says they can basically survive on but in truth thats not true it once was and the world was not as bad but now there are too many super powerful corporations in the world.

the first starts at the top, Oil the liquid gold of our entire species, if one day there was just not a drop left without warning we would decend into an anarchy then further into chaos and soon huge wars and so on.

Next is the number two Wal-Mart, basically a sixty two year old Mexican woman in blue, but behind that face is the pure essence of Evil. They have found the perfect way to destroy decades of work in a the time it takes to find a parking spot at a super- centre. Can you believe that after the 1860s and early 1900s when bosses just told kids to work and the elderly to stop complaining and to continue working, governments and the people changed it so we could be treated fair unions would protect the workers and the original concept was that noone would be without a union. Now its 2011 and we have 15 year olds getting jobs to pay for sports or to help the family even seniors who retired have been forced back into work by the assembly line of corporations. Wal-mart literally started as a place were you could go and get whatever you needed instead of going to ten different stores, they used to call it a mall but oil is to expensive and prices at wal-mart are cheap so people see the benefit. Though at what cost really is it having, so what your toaster is made in china, they get paid 14cents a day, the toaster costs 1.14 with labor to make plus 20 cents to ship in huge masses so giving it away on sale for 49.99 should even things out especially when frank down the street has an american built toaster that cost 15 bucks to make and 6 bucks labor to make, so how can frank compete when he sells his for 79.99.

What about communication, the phone used to be pay some little fee that pays wages of the operator and gives some money to the service manager to feed his kids. now your sucked in to getting a new phone every two years, well after 2012 the C.R.T.C and other Canadian and american service providers want people to upgrade every one year seven months, which is insane because the phones they sell you are 29.99 on a three year term and 499.99 on a two year and 550.00 on a one year plan, How can the average joe who make 40 grand a year pay for oil, morgage taxes food and all the latest gadgets without going into debt.

One word explanes that. Credit. Joe can make 40 grand but when you spend 42 a year that extra two goes onto his plastic which is then charged 30% interest. and now joe says oh no im broke and still losing money plus if I only make minimum payments on the bill I will have it till 2055.

So Joe gets in his car and drives to his local money mart and takes a payday loan three times a month. Now he has an extreme problem because he can now pay the extra money on his credit but not with interest in a year goes from making 40 grand to 30 grand just because the substantial fees charged at payday loan shops.

now Joe works at Wal-mart with his wife and kid making 10.25 each but one day minimum wage will go up and he awaits that day.

Now If your just reading this or have Stumbled upon this site, I urge you to continue reading for these simple ideas can sprout in your mind and thats the whole point I do not care if it all sounds stupid or I am some uneducated moron with another blog spreading his thought across the universe, I do it for the simple fact that someone that reads this at one point or another will think Hmm interesting then walk away and will add on and recreate my vision in there own mind. That is human nature someone invents the wheel that means now another person must use that wheel to make something better even if it has a slingshot on it to kill others that was a thought placed into a persons mind that expanded, and my view on that is simply why do humans have the on going competition not only with the man with the bigger stick but in the mind compared to the man who thought of the bigger stick. If this is what defines us as humans we must take that and think does everything do that not just some alien with some crazy name that cant be spoken in human, but bugs, mammals, dinosaurs. Isnt it a crazy thought that millions of years ago some dinosaur was like damn that T-rex has big teeth i should do something to protect myself. Instead natural selection and evolution created thicker skin shells etc. as humans have we surpassed that has knowing that natural selection is there caused us to advance much faster. no longer do we wait thousands of years to adapt to our surroundings now in a bear is going to attack us we shoot it, and if another human wants to kill use we design(think of that for a moment we design a solution to the problem) we are so smart and advanced compared to everything in our known solar system, Why worry about some crazy dictator when the other 5.999 billion other people will continue living sure someone will kill hundreds and be labeled a monster but compared to the genocide of of all life on earth(other then humans i mean insects animals plants etc) we some how decided in our progress from bacteria or whatever to human that we are the perfect creatures. Now dont get me wrong I eat meat and ive stepped on a snail by accident when i rains but considering that snail had like a 1in 10 billion chance in even being exsisting how could I as the smarter creature justify killing something that is alive. on that subject if some alien smarter or dumber then us reaches us we instantly think war or peace friend or foe what are they going to do to us but that is a broken thought that has been evolving since the first thought of an alien. war and peace are a human creation. the ant hill outside your house doesnt go to war with the hornets because there different they also dont make peace with the worms just for the fun of it. If the ant hill is full it will come down to a couple choices that are predetermined. no action is taken which results in over crowding starvation and a form of chaos. another ant hill will be created with another queen and so on. or what we cant grasp as the "smarter race" nature, an ant wont just let another die because it cant eat but it also wont go and get food to help it because its an ant and ants dont think like that so the idea that if an alien arrived and just decimated us or fought us or made peace with us is even smaller of a chance then the chances that we would arrive at this point as a creature. if aliens are out there do you think they study the sky read a book discover new systems and build societies like us or chances are they are like 99.9 percent of creatures we have encountered and live by the code embedded in us all and that is to live.

Death

Death the next spot on my list. How do we come to the conclusion that our lives are complete do we have that top job or a fast car, death will eventually get us, now everywhere (as in media) i look I hear Death is the only constant. Death in most cases is caused by two thing murder or natural causes but when reading into cell restoration many scientists believe it is completely possible to fix dna to reverse the aging process.

In the milky way there are billions upon billions of planets, how many chances would it take to eventually have a race that is more advanced then us. lets say 1 in 10 million planets hold the most basic life (cell,bacteria,virus). then lets go abit further saying 1 in 1 billion can hold intelligent life now just in the milky way there is the chance of life like us mabye star trek and star wars were right on some small degree.

It is no longer the case of are you a believer or not it is in the math. In the entire span of the entire universe which is so unimaginably large noone can even comprehend how large it is, so if there are 1 billion systems like the milky way each holds billions of planets so distant even with the most advanced tech we would never be able to reach the end of the universe.

Now im starting to move onto the next post but if there are millions of species around the universe that are all smarter or equal to us if we could discover how to stop aging that means we can move to the limits of time and space meeting everything out there. If a human cant die would we still be human is that not one of the major factors keeping our humanity. Mabye one day one civillization will understand what im saying.

Life

Life is the start the very moment life begins there is and always will be huge chemical reaction in your body as a baby your constantly forming, into a toddler, then a young child, to a child then the magnificent teenage years. I am a part of this group soon to be out of it but looking over my life I can see what it means to regret what you have done or be pressured into doing something for the future you don't really want to do. When a husband and wife have a kid around 14 and you tell them to work hard in school and become an adult do they really know what they are talking about sure if your parents make millions listen to them but anything other then that do not pay attention its my advice and i may seem a little stupid but parents don't know what they are talking about. Chances are you wont find your dream job, which could be anything not a doctor,lawyer,teacher it could be marketing or managing a retail store something small. those jobs are the base of your future the stepping stone to life and soon even for me these small jobs change into something different you develop life goals and become comfy in your shoes. well why do you feel that being a manager at a sports store should be your life most people end up quitting and finding an office job were corporations own you they make you feel like you will eventually be the leader but its a lie you will never completely hit the top it is designed to fight against you.

Now my boss lets me know almost everyday people are stupid and hearing this and seeing people in situations were they act insane over nothing i started to agree until seeing two kids both in private schools, they were talking about how to get more people into the restaurant saying maybe draw them a picture colour it really nice make sure to stay in the lines then the other said remember to but the store name on it and then send it to everyone. The kids were 9 and 12. So do children have unlimited potential and we just learn to cope without using when we grow or does all the booze and pot kill enough brain cells throughout high school to become a moron.

At what point will you be happy with your life. is it earning a high school diploma getting a degree being employee of the month or owning your own business. Whatever it is, it is not the top of human potential every one of use could measure a black hole or discover a new solar system we do not meet are potential. 99.9% of humans will do what they have to to survive but that 0.1% realized with all our modern technologies to help us survive they would use every inch of potential. think of that Mr.Hawking even with his disorder still manages to be the smartest man on earth. could any of us say that ever. no it would be a miracle if a single person saw there true potential, and that is only the first step much more then just realizing you can do anything before you can actually DO anything.
