<p>What do you think goes through the mind of your new hostess as she drives home from a party?  <em>“Why did I schedule that party? I have so much on my plate”</em> or <em>“My husband isn’t going to be happy about this” </em>or <em>“Last time I scheduled a party hardly anyone showed up.  Maybe I should cancel.” </em> Does every new hostess feel this way?  No.  Do half of your new hostesses feel this way? Yes.  It’s called “Booking Remorse.”</p>
<p>What happened?  I’ll tell you what happened.  Most likely your guest had a great time and wanted to duplicate that experience with her friends.  After all, we all want more fun but life is too demanding. Perhaps your guest decided to host because she was really excited about the product (or perhaps a combination of reasons).  She enjoyed you, loved the product, and the experience was extraordinary.</p>
<p>Regardless of why she booked, several of your new hostesses experience “Booking Remorse.”  This subject is commonly brought up by many of my clients during my coaching calls and group mentoring calls.  What I’ve noticed through asking clients questions and coaching them on this subject is that most reps give their guests an extraordinary experience; and then after the guest decides to host, the rep pours on the responsibility.</p>
<p>You’re going to want to over invite to insure a great attendance, most likely 35 to 50 guests, or they start hostess coaching the hostess on all the details about the party.  Their new hostess becomes exhausted and overwhelmed.  I’ve also found the opposite.  The rep hands the hostess a packet and tells them they’ll call them.  The new hostess’ interest level becomes diminished because the rep takes too long to connect with them.  Soon the assumptions begin to creep in and the hostess loses interest.</p>
<p>Our greatest commodity is time, especially for women.  Women have ten roles to every man’s one.  If you expect your new hostess to follow through with the party, you must “WOW” them.  During my complimentary tele-seminar “<a href="http://lifelinecoaches.com/IdealFallHostesses"><strong>Attracting Ideal Fall Hostesses</strong></a>,” I’m going to share why most of my clients have very few cancellations (if any), and exactly what they’re doing that engages their hostesses to WANT to hold their party.</p>
<p>I’m going to give you a few powerful tips that will greatly diminish your cancellations and rescheduled parties and attract mega guests because of your hostess’ “OVER THE TOP” excitement.  During the recording I’ll expand on each of the tips.</p>
<p><strong>Success Tip #1:</strong> Focus on connecting with your new hostess instead of overwhelming her with too much information.  Acknowledge her and stay curious…<em> “You are so fun.  I’m so excited to spoil your friends. Jana, what’s going to make this party extraordinary for you and your friends? What theme sounds fun to you? Who do you really want to spend your special evening with?” </em> It’s just like great courting and dating; if you met someone at a party and they asked you out, you’d keep it light and fun.  During the recording I’ll expand on my “Initial Hostess Coaching Secrets.”</p>
<p><strong>Success Tip #2: </strong>MAC &#8211; “Morning After Call.” Call your hostess the day after the party and leave her an authentic message.  <em>“Hi Janie, its Steve Wiltshire.  I was thinking about Daphne’s party last night and how much I enjoyed you.  I’m so honored you decided to have a party and I can’t wait to spoil your friends.  I’m looking forward to connecting with you on Thursday at Starbucks.  I hope you’re having an awesome day Janie.  Take care!”</em></p>
<p><strong>Success Tip #3: </strong>Send an engaging card the day after your new hostess schedules her party.  People don’t care how much we know until they know how much we care.  An appreciative, grateful spirit is simply attractive.  Most of the members in my Million Dollar Protégé Program have this nailed.</p>
<p>Hunt for cards with incredible quotes.  I prefer quotable cards or send out cards.  Quotes say a lot about you. This little expense will save you time and make you WAY MORE INCOME!  Develop the habit of sending your new hostess a card immediately after they schedule their party.  Something like this… <em>“Janie, thank you for scheduling a party from Daphne.   I can’t wait to spoil you and your friends.  Let’s take a break from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy a friend’s night out.  I’m looking forward to meeting you at Starbucks on Thursday at 4:30.  Please remember your guest list.  I’ll send your friends an extraordinary invitation.  Joyous day to you! ~ Steve.”</em></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Do you ever meet someone in the market place who you want to share your business opportunity with but it feels odd, or you feel as if it might not be well received?  You’re probably right!  Honestly, some network marketers are quite awful.  I’ve been on airplanes, at gyms, and group environments where I’ve been smiling at them, nodding my head, but feeling like I can’t breathe.  </p>
<p style="text-align: left;">It’s similar to someone thinking you’re attracted to them and you’re thinking, “What’s wrong with this picture?  Don’t you get I’m not interested.  Do I really have to spell it out to you?” It may sound harsh but it’s entirely accurate.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Attraction just <strong>is</strong><em>.  What’s that mean? </em>Most of us don’t know why were attracted to something, we just feel good.  It’s not as if we’re even thinking about it in the moment, we just know that we feel good about someone or something, and we are gravitated to who they are or how they’re responding to us.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I have clients who have recruited as many reps outside of their parties as they have at their parties.  How did they do it? First they learned how to BE in the market place, and during my recording, I’m going to describe the attributes and characteristics you’ll want to develop that will attract others to you.  Second, they’re clear about the lead-lines and lead questions that have others feeling validated and attracted to them.   Third, they have developed a system and a tool, an impressive tool, I must add, that creates career interest.  <br />
 It’s all on the recording.  I’ll give you every detail.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Last, my clients who are recruiting 12, 15 or even 20 reps a year have identified environments and activities that allow them to serve, connect, and share their business opportunity.  Here’s your focus…place yourself in environments that allow you to enjoy more of life and share what you have to offer.</p>
<ul>
<li>Entertain your friends and neighbors</li>
<li>Organizations</li>
<li>Involve yourself with the coaches of your children’s sports</li>
<li>Support your teacher with school activities</li>
<li>Happy hour, lunch, dinner with friends, or a little shopping</li>
</ul>

<p style="text-align: left;">Do you ever leave a party thinking or feeling <em>“I can’t believe I didn’t get any bookings,&#8221; </em>or<em> &#8220;I’m so disappointed none of the guests decided to host a party, it was so fun&#8221; &#8220;What did I do wrong? I don’t get it!” </em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Many of my clients book twice as many new hostesses after the party than they do at the party.  Why? How?  They’ve realized that many of their guests are interested, but not ready to make a commitment.   So they invite them to think about it, talk to a few friends, and then they give the guest space to allow the idea to gel.  That’s only the beginning… their follow up is light and extraordinary.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Before I built a multi-million dollar business in direct sales, I was a strong personal sales producer that couldn’t promote any leaders.  I was, however, selling 100K a year.   I learned how to develop leaders by taking reps on parties, giving them great training, and giving them bookings from my parties.  I was continually giving away bookings to reps that took the time to attend my parties, because I couldn’t keep up with the demand.</p>

<p>Are you just getting back from your company’s convention? I know  you’re excited and you really want to share your new line with all of  your friends, previous hostesses, and previous guests; but it’s  important to approach them in a way that makes it about them and not  about you.</p>
<p>The truth is no one really gets excited about buying anything that’s  not in their current consciousness.  Meaning, unless it’s been on their  mind to purchase that ‘something’, whatever that ‘something’ is, it  doesn’t hold any value.  That’s where you come in… discovering how  you’re going to connect and create an environment that will engage their  interest in purchasing your product, hosting a party, or seeking info  about your career opportunity.  <strong>Approach is EVERYTHING!</strong></p>

<p><strong>What  are the top three objections you must overcome to successfully book  parties? <br />
 </strong></p>
<p><strong></strong>The first word most of us learned wasn’t mommy or daddy, it was ‘no’.  It’s simply a human habit to think ‘no’ or feel resistant, especially with all the demands that we’re all experiencing, but at the end of the day, we all have one commonality.  We want to have more fun!  We’re all tired of being so responsible.  Think about it.  You give women a break from children, husbands and responsibilities to party with their friends, laugh, and earn a bunch of goodies.  It’s not complicated.  And if you believe that, and know your party experience rocks, it’s easy to have conviction about what YOU WANT FOR THEM!</p>
<p>I have a few objections I want you to practice and own that, most often, shift a perspective in half of a second.</p>
<p>Objection:  <em>“I’m so busy.  There’s so much going on!” </em><br />
 Answer:  <em>“Exactly my point.  You need to have more fun.  Sherry, we’re not planning a wedding, we’re getting a few friends together to drink wine and spa. What do you think?”</em></p>
<p>Objection: <em>“I live so far out”</em> or <em>“My husband hates when I do these things.”</em><br />
 Answer: <em>“No worries.  Let’s make it simple… we’ll have a happy hour party in a martini lounge or a Mexican restaurant.  That way you won’t have to vacuum, cook or clean. What do you think?”</em></p>
<p>Objection: <em>“No one ever comes to my parties.”</em><br />
 Answer:<em> “Well Janie, you’ve never had a party with me.  Let’s face it, most of these parties are boring and way too serious.  It’s all about the theme, fun, and appealing invitations.  I’ll mail the invitations for you and just know, I’m there for three guests or 20.  It’s not that big of a deal and I really want to do a party for you. What do you think?”</em></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">I received an e-mail from a previous seminar participant that just added 11 parties on her calendar.  Ironically, during the lunch break at a recent seminar, Sarah approached me about leaving the business.  She waited until everyone was gone and approached me confidentially saying, <em>“I almost didn’t come to the event today.  My business has been so challenging and I’m just not that good at it.  I love the business but I can’t seem to keep my calendar full, and I’m lucky if I get one booking at a party, let alone two.”</em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">As Sarah began to cry, I became more curious about really what was important to her.  I sat down with Sarah, looked at her straight in her eyes and said, <em>“How about if today marked the beginning of an entirely new experience in your life and business? Sarah, I hear you saying that you want________________.” </em>I nailed exactly what she wanted and why, and then I said,<em> “If I could guarantee 10 new parties in 10 days, would you follow through with a program I have that will guarantee you results?” </em>Sarah enthusiastically said, <em>“Absolutely!” </em></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Often when I start working with new clients that are out of balance, and they share their frustration with their schedule, I ask them this question,<em> “If I were to look at your calendar over the last three months, how much time would I notice that you have scheduled for planning and organizing?</em> <em> I mean, that you actually scheduled time to plan your day, plan your week, and forecast your month. How about organization? How much time do you schedule weekly to get your environment organized; meaning time weekly to check e-mail, create action lists, file documents, schedule project times, and analyze your month?”</em> Most often I hear <em>“I don’t!”</em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Isn’t planning and organizing paramount?  Isn’t it the foundation of all that you do?  Imagine what a difference that could make in your summer if you were acutely aware of where your time was being spent, and how you desired prioritizing your time.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Well, let’s discuss a system that will support you.</p>
<ul>
<li>Schedule your intentional and fixed appointments six weeks out.  What does that mean? Fixed appointments are appointments that are usually confirmed, and intentional appointments are appointments you expect to make happen.  For example, you might choose to schedule a party every Tuesday and Saturday morning, and allow that you might not have a party scheduled every Tuesday and Saturday throughout the six weeks, but you schedule the date in your calendar anyway, with the expectation that you eventually will.  Each week, notice that you have every fixed activity and intentional activity in your schedule for six weeks.  Let me give you an example…</li>

 Weekly time to organize <br />
 Weekly time to plan</p>
<p>After the first time, you’ll notice how easy this is&#8230; each week you’ll simply be planning your sixth week and carrying your fixed activities and intentional activities into that particular week.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">What if this summer was by far the most fulfilling, rewarding and abundant summer of your life?  What would that be worth?  What would you have experienced?  What would you have achieved?  I have the awesome privilege of coaching some unbelievable clients who know the value of intentionally creating a plan for what they want to manifest.  Many of my clients know exactly what they want to experience and achieve this summer with their children, spouses, their health, and their businesses.</p>
<p>Last week while my son and I were relaxing on the river in our boat, I asked him, <em>“Quin, what’s going to make this summer extraordinary for you? Who do you want to hang out with? What do you want to experience? What’s fun for you? Where would you like to visit?” </em> It’s amazing what we created and ironically, I was an example of the principle of “Segment Intention.” Segment intention is your ability to create vision for an aspect of your life and create choices that support the fruition of your deepest intention.</p>
<p>Most of the population creates by osmosis instead of design.  Their past becomes their future because their habits dictate their choices.  I have clients who have created amazing summers by making unreasonable choices… choices they wouldn’t have made without asking themselves questions that lead to perspective, and then options, and then decisions; decisions that evoke their soul and create solutions.</p>
<ol>
<li>What would make this summer extraordinary for your children?  Consider taking your children to their favorite restaurant and tell them you want them to have the greatest summer of their lives and get curious about what would make it extraordinary.  Create a family list and then make choices that create memories.  (Synthetic/Recreation)</li>
<li>What would make this summer extraordinary for your spouse?  What fuels them?  Create a pleasing environment for your spouse.  Get them in a space to relax, unwind, and then say the magical words, <em>“Baby, I’m curious, if this summer was an incredible summer for you, what would we have experienced?” </em>After you complete your wish list, just decide!</li>
<li>What would make this summer ideal for you? How do you feel about your health? How do you define fun? What brings you joy? Create your wish list and make decisions that light you up.</li>
</ol>
<p style="text-align: left;">Often when my clients aren’t achieving the success they desire, it’s usually an indication that they’re not having fun.  Their bored with their life, frustrated with their businesses, and PUSHING TOO HARD; and aren’t in the zone of attraction.  It’s interesting what happens when I ask them what they love to do for fun and then challenge them to do it… they most often begin getting greater results with their business.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">A few years ago, I wrote a book entitled <strong><em>Vision Made Real: Creating Space for Your Deepest Intentions. </em></strong> In my book, I share what prevents most people from manifesting what they truly want in life.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">What do you think prevents most people from having an extraordinary career, ideal health, extraordinary relationships, a greater income, or more time for the recreation that fuels their soul?  Space…space to think, contemplate, create, and manifest.  Many of us say, <em>“When I have time I will  &#8212;&#8211; ”</em> but don’t schedule the time to tap into our spirit and envision what we want.  We don’t schedule time to take our vision to the planning stage, and we don’t take time to create the action items which support the manifestation of what we say we truly want.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Oprah said it so well in an article written by her in <em><strong>&#8216;O&#8217;</strong></em> magazine a few years back. <em>“In order for you to say yes to the parts of your life that give you passion, you must say no to the activities, beliefs, and relationships that don’t serve you.” </em> She also went on to say that women in America have ten times the obligations and expectations of men and most women around the globe.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">This originates from social mirror, media, relationships, organizations, and parents, but most often, it’s our self-imposed expectation. Where in life are you saying yes when you want to say no?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Here’s your 21 day challenge. </strong> Create two lists and title them, “What Brings Me Fulfillment?” and “What Am I Tolerating?” Carry your lists everywhere you go for the next 21 days, and notice what you want more of and less of.  Challenge yourself to review your list every Monday morning and distinguish what choices you could take action on that would bring you more fulfillment in life.  Notice what’s draining you, what you’re tolerating, and come up with ways to dump it, delegate it, hire it out, or put a stop to it once and for all.  This exercise has blown my clients away.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">It’s interesting what happens when we make empowering decisions.  When you begin to make empowering decisions, you become more esteemed and naturally fulfilled.  When you feel fulfilled you raise your vitality, radiate joy and become naturally expressive.  You’ll notice that everyone loves to be around you.  Your children, spouse, and team will benefit as well.  Why? It’s simple&#8211;<em>you love your life and everyone can see it because you radiate it, and others will be attracted to you like bees to honey.</em></p>
