Getting Started

It has been more than a year now since I started this blog. I wanted it to be my own so I don’t have to be tied up with restrictive controls which free hosts impose on you. Friends had recommended to me different web hosts. These are the ones that host their blogs. Not nearly convinced, I did some checking of my own. I searched the net for the top webhosting sites around. I checked each and every one. I chose the one which would suit my needs. Web hosts cater to different users and I enlisted the services of one that could help out a newbie like me.

They did as was promised. I had no knowledge about setting up a website of my own. Their technician walked me through the process. We did this through their online chat which was great. Before I knew it, my blog had been set up. So far, I’ve been very satisfied. They have been a wonderful web host which led me to recommend them to my friends. Now, even my friends are loyal clients. With a very able and supportive staff, I don’t see me or any of my friends switching hosts.

If you want to have your blog, do what I did. I’m sure you’ll find the right host to address your needs.

Everybody Needs One

One of my buddies doesn’t believe in insurance. He always tells us that accidents don’t happen everyday. That was before a near-death car accident he was recently involved in. He has two young kids and this incident made him realize that it’s about securing the future of his family. I sent my agent over to present him several life insurance quotes for his appreciation. Insurance is not a waste of money. It is for the security of your loved ones. Everybody needs one if only to show he really cares for his family.

It’s a holiday here, National Heroes Day. It’s been raining all week and I’m saddled with so much work. I need something punky to get me going through the week. New Order seemed to be a good choice for my feature on Music Monday. With a military theme plastered with vibrant colors, I hope this gets my spirits high.

Convenient Printing

My job entails a lot of printing. With the volume of printing I need for my clients, I cannot do it all on my personal printer. I also do not have the luxury of time to go out and go to a printer to have all these jobs done. This is why I go by way of online printing. I simply send them the materials and details for my projects. Proofreading and finalizing the final print is no problem. Even my intellectual rights are protected. This is what I call convenient printing!

The adage says that diamonds are forever. This is the reason why diamonds come to mind when love and marriage is concerned. I accompanied my brother to scout some diamond diamond engagement rings for his fiance. It’s about time he settles down. He’s not getting any younger. I told him that to show his eternal love, a diamond ring is the way to go. His girlfriend will surely drop her jaw when he finally pops the question.

My Dull Study

I spend most of my free time in my study. This is my comfort zone and workplace. But seems to be empty despite the books and other things I have there. I noticed how it lacked something. With its white walls and white tiles, it definitely lacks tone. I t needs a rug to break the monotony. I’ll have to check out different rugs that would complement my study. At least it wouldn’t look dull anymore.

Ties That Bind

With the work I do, I have to always be in a business suit. This is why I have dozens of ties in my closet. Lately, I’ve noticed how some of the people I meet with wear bow ties. It’s unique but looks very regal. What I thought was used only for formal gatherings can be worn everyday. I looks so cool that I decided to buy some just to add some choice to my wardrobe.

My wife always sees to it that she gets the gift I want. Lately, she’s been very particular about what she gives me for my birthday, our anniversary and Christmas. These are not available off the shelf of any store I’ve visited. I was so curious where she gets the gifts she gives me on these occasions that I asked her. She candidly told it was from a personalized gifts for him shop. I was so delighted as anyone who sees my my stuff are so impressed. I cannot say how lucky I am to have such a sweet and caring wife.

With the pace of life, many had to prioritize work over education. Many would work in the morning and try to earn their degree at night. With the advances in technology, one can now get his degree in the comfort of their home and get the necessary rest they need. A growing number of Online Education Schools now offer degrees online. People of all ages can now get their degrees from the top and reputable universities without physically being in the classroom. If only we had this when I was working and trying to earn a degree at the same time.
