♥ Our Birth story:

I had my last Doctor's appointment on Tuesday (13-08-13) It was the day I went in to confirm my C-section was going to happen on Friday, BUT we actually had a slight change of Plans (God's ways are truly amazing by the way) Doctor checked me and then he broke the news to us (I was accompanied by my dad, cousin and Husband) "You're going to be induced TOMORROW and we will try natural birth, if that doesn't work i'll perform the c-section" .. That's when my eyes popped out and we all yelled WHAAAAT!

I was filled with emotions, I felt joy because I knew I was even closer than I thought of meeting my little Princess Mia ♥ We asked the Doctor over and over again "are you sure?" We just couldn't believe it! At that point (6:30 pm) we started to run and getting ready for what was going to be one of the best days of my life! I went to get my hair and nails done very quickly .. Then ran home to prep my Hospital Bag & Mia's Diaper Bag, I finished at about 1:20 am

We were at the clinic the next day at 6:22 am (We barely slept because of the excitement) I got admitted at about 7:15 am after handling all the paperwork. That's when my labor process began .. Nurses were amazing and treated me super nice! My Doctor came in not long after and at about 8:00 I started to feel my first contractions, I thought that they were because of the Meds they used to induce labor .. at about 10:20 am my Doc noticed that the meds they gave me were just vitamins .. at that point we found out my labor started all by itself, and that I had dilated 5 cm without any meds to induce labor

Without a doubt Wednesday was the day Mia was coming! God works in the most amazing ways! At about 10:30 am I got "THE MEDS" (The ones to induce labor of course, THE REAL ONES!) And at 11 am I was fully dilated and contracting like crazy! The shooting pain during every contraction was overwhelming words can't even begin to explain, I even almost started to cry! At 11:05 I got my epidural and not to many pushes after Mia was Born at exactly 11:20 am! Doctor asked if I wanted to carry her and I responded a BIG BIG YESSS!!

He layed her over my bare chest and that's when it hit me .. Even though I wasn't alone in the room with my Baby girl that moment then and there had turned into the most intimate memory ever! I felt her warm tiny body and that's when I realized "I'M A MOMMY!!!" I began to shed some tears and didn't want to let her go, but she had to get cleaned up to meet Daddy, so they took her away! My heart was tiny I really didn't want to let her go!

I got stitches and at about 12:30 I was in the Recovery room! I got many congratulations from several Doctors and Nurses because I had concored NATURAL BIRTH! I felt brave and empowered! God blessed me and Javi that day with so much patience and strength, but most of all with a Beautiful Healthy Baby girl!

Mia was born with a circular (umbilical cord around her neck) but Doctor had no problem removing it .. there were no complications during the whole pregnancy and labor just a bunch of BLESSINGS!!

Our stay at the hospital that day was pleasant! We had so much family come in to meet Mia .. and most family members and close friends got "MIA SHIRTS" done you can see in the pictures! Over 25 shirts!!!!!!

It was a very happy day .. no words can truly describe how we both felt that day .. we can say we fell IN LOVE all over again not only with our baby girl but also with each other! Javi was amazing throughout my pregnancy and specially on that day! He has always been caring and loving to me .. now to our little Princess!

I have to add words from DADDY Javi to our sweet Little Mia: ♥ "My beautiful princess, I want to express that the first time I really saw you changed me internally, your face made ​​me a new man and it awoke a sense of huge protection in me, at that exact moment I knew I was going to have a beautiful reason for overcoming anything and I want to be better every day to give you everything you need in your life! I want to help you awake your conscience and I want you to feel proud of your dad. I'd like for you to experience what happened to me. I want you to have children and I want you to be as good or better as my parents were to me and taught me (your grandparents). I want to be pleasing but correct, I want to be fun but I also want to teach you in order that you someday you know the truths of the kingdom that God gave you and delivered you to, so that you can be whatever you wanna be in your life without a hassle! I want to share two biblical phrases which always were crucial to form me as a living person in this beautiful kingdom here on earth: 1) I can do all this through him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13) 2) The man is what he thinks it is. The limit is in your mind, and in this life you can get where you want because God is in your favor and will always help you .. I love you with all my heart. Love, Dad: Jav'D"

We both got discharged the next day at about noon! We happily went home and that's when the fun began! But that's a whole new story which i'll be sharing soon!

I can't finish up without also have mentioning the people that during this experience were next to me all the way! My mom, dad and little Sister who were upgraded to "GRANDPARENTS and AUNT" not only were they beside me at all times, they were also the best support system anyone could have! I love you guys so much! You filled me with love and Mia felt it through me! We are so grateful to God for you.

Shout out to my in laws and sisters in law .. Who were also with us along this wonderful ride and their support and advise will help us during this new step in our lives! To my cousin/more like a sister Angelica and my childhood friend Yoanka I'd like to give special thanks I love you girls and hope to have you in our lives forever!

Mia's Room/Nursery Progress Report

Mia's room had been painted for a while now! But last week we finally got to actually work on it with the help of Abuelito Rey & Abuelita Diaxne!

Crib is in ..

Drawer organizer is in .. and even

the closet!

Curtains are up and Mia's Clothes are folded!

Still have plenty to do, but it was a really fruitful weekend, we got so much done!

Wall decal is up too!

I don't really have a theme in her room its just VERY PINK and full of cuteness!

Top: Picture #1 - As you can see the crib is officially IN the nursery Mmm .. no mattress yet, but soon! Picture #2 & #3 Mia's Drawer organizer is filled with cute clothes, socks, bows, it's all in there, but I still have plenty of things to Fix on top! Picture #4 - Inside of Baby Mia's crib - it's Filled with things that are going to be hanging on the walls, Baby Crib bedding set and Toys.

Bottom: Mia's Closet as you can see in the picture where the closet door is opened, all the Tiny Fabulous clothes are on hangers but the little hanging tubes are not in yet! Once again, it will be done soon!

Top: These is Mia's Drawer Organizer. Four Drawers are filled, no more space for now!

Bottom: Ever since I got our 3d/4d done I just can't stop staring at our Little Cutie, Javi and I can't have a Bad day when waking up to this on our Fridge door! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH MIA ISABELLE!

Now that I'm on the 3d/4d ultrasound subject here is a Tiny collage of Mia's and Fabi's (Yoanka's healthy Baby boy, she's a childhood friend who I adore and someone I have been glad to be sharing this experience with!!)

Mia is currently 31 weeks and 5 days and Fabian is 29 weeks and 5 days!

Were hopelessly in LOVE with these two!

Hope to meet them soon, but I really have to finish the nursery first!

Things are coming together!! I feel humongous-ly BLESSED & so does Javi!

Weekly Bump Update: 29th week - 30th week

¿Baby Size?

Week 29 & 30: Mia now weighs between 2 1/2 to 3 pounds (1.1k - 1.4k) (about the size of a butternut squash or a large cabbage) and is a tad over 15.2 to 15.7 inches long (38.6 to 39.9 cm) from head to heel. Her muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and her head is growing bigger to make room for her developing brain. To meet her increasing nutritional demands, I'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron.

1st Father's Day!

What I researched lately: AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Less than 2 months away from meeting our sweet Baby Mia! Now that were closer and closer Baby Mia is more active than ever! I've learned a pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds her, but that volume will shrink as she gets bigger and takes up more room in my uterus. Her eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after she's born, she'll keep her eyes closed for a good part of the day. When she does open them, she'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision — which means she can only make out objects a few inches from her face. (Normal adult vision is 20/20.)

Fun Baby & Bump facts for week #29 & #30:

At this point I'm getting tired more often, even when doing activities within my normal routine
I'm having trouble sleeping
I also feel clumsier than normal, which is perfectly understandable. Not only am I heavier, but the concentration of weight in my pregnant belly causes a shift in my center of gravity
Mia's lungs are developed enough to breathe air
She's moving at least 10 times an hour

Symptoms: Now I REALLYYYYY feel pregnant! I'm not huge but I can totally not hide my belly (Which I don't mind, lol) Besides the Back pain I've noticed that when I take long to have either breakfast, lunch or dinner I get nauseous. So I try my best to eat at the right hours!

Next Doctors Appointment: Is set for the 1st or second week of July! Not sure!

Next Ultrasound Appointment: no ultrasound set anytime soon!

Important events or Situations this past weeks: We had a 2 in 1 celebration! Celebrated Javi's 1st Father's Day and our Babymoon at Crowne Plaza Maruma for the weekend! Gradparents and Auntie joined us! We Had a Blast .. Hoped you liked my gift of a Mini-Vacation to you Babe! I Love you! Plus on June 23rd we celebrated Abuelito Rey's Birthday! We LOVE YOU so much!!!!!!

¿Baby Size?

Week 28: Mia weighs about 2.2 pounds (997.9 g) this according to the "I'm expecting app" (Which I absolutely LOVE & highly recommend) but she has always been above the average so she's probably a little bit over! She measures about 14.8 inches (37.6 cm) long!

Baby Mia is about the size

of an Iceberg Lettuce!

What I researched lately: I can't believe I'm less than 3 months away from meeting Baby Mia!

Fun Baby & Bump facts for week #28:

Her face is practically formed, her ayes, ears and lips are in place and she even has eyebrows and eyelashes at this point (Hopefully she gets daddy's long lashes, mines are tiny "Thank God for Mascara" lol)
Her lungs are now half way developed, and won't be complete 'til the 8th month!
She can feel pain now (Which is not "FUN")
Baby Mia should be able to react to light changes (We played with her and a Flashlight, we got quite the reaction)

Symptoms: I've had no Big signs of anything except for some back pain (when I do things around the house) I've even started to loose my appetite again which Javi doesn't like at all (He get's worried all the time, but I've been eating healthy ever since I learned I was pregnant)

Next Doctors Appointment: Is set for next week - Monday, June 10th

Next Ultrasound Appointment: as well as the Ultrasound .. Getting 4D by the way (WE CAN'T WAIT!)

Important events or Situations this past weeks: Grandma Diaxne and Grandpa Rey finally went on their trip to the U.S and got Baby Mia everything she needs! Daddy Javi and I made a list and budget for them so it would be easier for them to not miss anything! And now we have everything! Crib, Closet and Organizer are on their way, but might take a little longer than we though since it's a lot more work than we thought for Grandpa Fala! But we are thrilled and relieved that we are on track and still have time to get the things ready! God has been so kind to us .. I know Baby Mia is so healthy and he will allow me to be at peace before she comes!

So ever since I learned I was pregnant I started researching Baby Checklists of pretty much Everything a Baby needs! I must say mine ended up being extremely detailed! Since January (Month I found out I was preggo) I hadn't gone shopping for anything at all, because grandma was going to take a trip to the states this past MAY (Which did happen!!) Weekly Bump Update: 27th week

I'm actually 28 weeks as of Today, but I have 2 really cute Pictures I'd love to share of week 27 with Auntie Silvana! Plus I can't miss updating you on how Mia is doing this week!

¿Baby Size?

Week 27: Baby weighs roughly 2 pounds (907 grams) and measures about 14.14 inches (36.6 cm) long from head to heel! This is according to the "I'm expecting app" on my phone! But she was actually 917 grams when we went to our last Doctors appointment which was almost a month ago! So she is above average at this point, way above!

Baby Mia is about the size

of a Cauliflower!

What I researched lately: We are currently a little over 6 months which I can't even Believe! 28 weeks down, only 12 to go .. AAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Freaking out here! Time flies! I remember when it was the other way around and I was only 12 weeks into the pregnancy! On the real subject Mia is a little Kicking Machine, she moves all the time. I read this week that her brain is currently functioning like a Newborn! Her senses have now started to develop in a way that she is now learning and retaining information, my little Princess can now hear and react to our our voices (I read she can even dance or move to Music as a reflex). I wonder what position she's in right now since the kicking feels all over the place, no consistence whatsoever! (Won't know 'til the 10th though)

Hello! YES YES YES I KNOW ..

A lot piled up!

But what can I do? I've been super busy .. Sooooo here's the MEGA update!

¿Baby Size?

Week 21: Baby weighs 10.5 ounces (297.7 grams) now and she's around 10.5 inches (26.7 cm) long from head to heel. She's about the size of a Carrot!
Week 22: Baby is about 10.9 inches (27.8 cm) long! And weighs about 12.25 ounces (347.3 grams) She's about the size of a Papaya!
Week 23: Baby measures around 11.4 inches (28.9 cm) long and weighs almos 1 pound (453.6 grams) About the size of a Pomegranate!
Week 24: Baby weighs about 1.3 pounds (567 grams) and measures 11.8 inches (30.5 cm) She's about the size of a Grapefruit!
Week 25: Baby measures about 13.6 inches (34.6 cm) and weighs at this point 1.5 pounds (680.4 grams) Baby is about the size of a Zucchini!
Week 26: Baby weighs a little less than 2 pounds (907.2 grams) and measures around 14 inches (35.6 cm) long! She's the size of and Eggplant!

What I researched lately: (All 6 weeks) Baby Mia's digestive system has developed enough to start absorbing water and small amounts of sugar from the amniotic fluid that she swallows. Bone marrow has also developed! Baby has also grown visible eyebrows, eyelashes and hair on her scalp. Our sweet baby Girl is developing sense she will use in the outside world! Since were having a little girl I must add that by this point her uterus and ovaries are in place, while Queen Victoria has developed! She has fully formed fingers and finger print (Which will not only grant her, her unique-ness in the world, but will also allow me to paint her nails) AWEESOME!! Baby can react to sound from the outside and even react when playing with a flashlight!

Baby detects Light changes at this point (She jumps around and moves like crazy when I shine a Flashlight on my Belly)
Mia resembles what she will look like at Birth
Her hearing is mature enough to recognize both my voice and Javi's!
Javi may be able to hear Mia's Heartbeat by putting his head on my Belly!

Symptoms: Besides my usual sleepy-ness these past weeks have been amazing, even though I've been uber busy and under a lot of stress Princess Mia has behaved! She's awesome!

Next Doctors Appointment: Is set for June 10th

Next Ultrasound Appointment: as well as my next scan .. for June 10th! BUT I'm finally getting the 4D done!

Important events or Situations this past weeks: DURING THIS WEEKS SO MANY THINGS HAPPENED! Baby Mia started moving like crazy on April 6th to the sound of MICHAEL JACKSON'S Thriller, Javi says she'll have his same taste in music! We went in for our morphogenetic ultrasound, which showed nothing but a BIG, Chubby and HEALTHY Baby! (We are so grateful to God! Quick update on these last Few weeks (Excuse the phone pictures)

NOTE: I don't have my S2 anymore .. It got stolen! : (So no phone for now! Instagraming once in a while from Auntie Angelica's Phone)

¿Baby Size?

Week 17: Baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom
Week 18: Baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces
Week 19: Baby weighs about 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches, head to bottom
Week 20: Baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana.

What I researched lately: (All 4 weeks) She's busy flexing his arms and legs. Her movements are much stronger each week. Your baby's sensory development is exploding! Her brain is designating specialized areas for smell, taste, hearing, vision, and touch. Some research suggests that she may be able to hear your voice now, so I'm not being shy about reading aloud, talking to her, or singing a happy tune if the mood strikes you. For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against her torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of her head to her bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, she's measured from head to toe

Fun Baby & Bump facts for weeks #17-#20:

As my belly grows, my center of gravity changes, so I may begin to occasionally feel a little unsteady on your feet.
From now on, when I lie down, it's best to lie on me side or at least partly tilted to one side. (It's been getting harder and harder each week to sleep at night)
I feel BIGGER! I'll start growing even faster in the weeks to come. As a result, I may notice some achiness in my lower abdomen or even an occasional brief, stabbing pain on one or both sides
I have to make sure you're getting enough iron, a mineral that's used primarily to make hemoglobin (the part of your red blood cells that carries oxygen).

Symptoms: I've felt much better since last post. Fatigue has completely dissapeared. Although sleepiness is at its MAXIMUM power! I sleep all the time and everywhere

Next Doctors Appointment: Is set for the first week of May!

Next Ultrasound Appointment: as well as my next scan .. But I might be getting a 3D or 4D .. Haven't made up my mind still have some research to do!

Important events or Situations this past weeks: On April 9th we reached the HALF WAY MARK - 20 weeks down .. 20 TO GO! On Friday April 12th we Finally hosted our "Gender Reveal Party" its was so hard to keep it a secret (We had our ultrasound a couple of days earlier) Me and Javi got attacked for not sharing what we knew until days later! But it was worth it! SO WORTH IT! It was a super special moment (Watch the Video on the Gender Reveal Post) to see the reaction when we announced that we're Having a Baby Girl! I still get goosebumps each time we watch it! We got a visit from Auntie Yoanka (A childhood friend) this past weekend. I hadn't seen her in years .. We've known each other for so LONG and she's pregnant as well (Were 3 weeks apart) I'm so glad to be sharing this with her! She's coming back next week so were getting our Ultrasounds done together! CAN'T WAIT!!

I'm late on 7 weeks again so I'll update soon!

I've been uber busy .. I'll try to be more consistant! SORRY!!!

So, it should be no surprise that I fell in love with the idea of having my Son or Daughter in a pair of Freshly Picked Moccs! Hello Loveys .. so I took a Little long to post this weeks Baby Bump Update, but it was all on purpose .. wanted to be a Little Closer to Easter!

Gender Reveal Party might be closer than we think!

This week was EASTER WEEK at “Castillito” SO we had Easter Bunnies and Eggs all over the school! So in Love with the meaning of EASTER .. Truly Blessed this year to be able to celebrate Easter with Our Little Bunny!

¿Baby Size? For week 17 Baby G’ is about the size of a Mango, she or he measures about 4.5 to 5 inches (11.4 to 12.7 cm) long. At this point baby weights about 3.5 ounces (99.2 grams)

What I researched lately: I’ve been feeling a little bit less comfortable while sleeping at night, but my Belly isn’t huge yet so I’ve been able to still sleep on my Tummy! But I was scared so I started to research .. To what point is it actually safe to sleep on my Belly? According to Baby Center Expert Catherine Lynch: “There's no problem lying on your stomach in early pregnancy. At this point, your uterus is still nestled behind your pubic bone, so it's totally protected. Later in your pregnancy, sleeping on your stomach just isn't going to be comfortable. You'd be too uncomfortable to want to do it long before you could ever hurt your baby.” But then again no time frame? .. I Researched some more ..

So this is what Dr. Marjorie Greenfield from Baby Zone had to say “Surprisingly, sleeping on your stomach is fine as long as it feels OK. Early in pregnancy, your little one is tucked way down in the uterus in your pelvis. As the uterus grows, the top (fundus) moves above the pubic bone, and you may be able to feel a little lump there. Still, the baby is inside the muscular uterus and protected. You may not even feel the lump when you lie on your tummy. As your baby continues to grow, the uterus grows and stretches, reaching the level of your belly button at around 20 weeks. Mid-pregnancy, most moms-to-be start to find it uncomfortable to lie on the "bump." But if it feels OK, it won't hurt the baby! She is in a warm water balloon inside a muscular uterine shell. As you and your baby-to-be continue to grow, the uterus gets bigger and its walls get thinner, but even at 9 months, the walls of the uterus offer quite a bit of protection.So this is one case where listening to your body works really well—as long as it is comfortable, feel free to sleep on your tummy without worry! You will know when it is time to change it up.”

Fun Baby & Bump facts for week #17:

At this point my breast might have increased as much as one or two cup sizes (OH YEAH!)
You have probably gained about 5 to 10 pounds (NOT REALLY! Haven’t gained any weight at all, in fact I’ve lost weight!)
You may also still be experiencing fatigue and sleepiness (STILL HAPPENING!)
Baby G’ starts to form fat under its skin this week, which will keep him or her warm after birth!
Baby’s movements are becoming stronger and more frequent (Haven’t felt my Baby yet, anxious for that to happen!)
Loud noises outside the uterus may also startle the baby! As well as Mommy’s sudden movements! (Trying to stay still and use a moderate tone of voice!)

Symptoms: Besides the previously mentioned fatigue and sleepiness .. I’ve been really Sentimental lately .. It takes NOTHING to get me teary-eyed .. whether I’m upset or just happy I cry! (I’m a crier!) Trying to control that!

Next Doctors Appointment: is still Set for April, 4th, 2013

Next Ultrasound Appointment: as well as my next scan is set for 04.04.13, but since the next Doctor’s appointment is in the morning I might get it the day before as I mentioned in the previous post! April 3rd, 2013! PLUS mommy and daddy want to find out Baby G’s gender to be able to throw the Gender Reveal Party! Come on Baby! Show yourself!

Important events or Situations this past weeks: Today (March, 23rd, 2013) is Abuelita’s Mane’s Birthday! So were having a Party for her and 2 other special Family members who’s Birthdays were also during this week! Looking forward to celebrating with Grandma M! On another exciting piece of News! .. We shopped online this week for some cute “NEUTRAL” nursery pieces on Amazon! I’ll post about that in a couple of days .. So stay tuned!

About the Picture Below: This is a Little Bunny my mom got me last year when getting Surgery right before Summer 2012 began! It's actually a Rattle! And I totally fell in Love with it! Paired it with an Easter egg and Yellow garden Basket .. Just made a cute First Easter inside the Bump picture for Baby G'!

Weekly Bump Update: 15th & 16th weeks

Hey everyone! Been a whole bunch of Busy so I haven't been able to Post but here's an in between mini Bump shoot of weeks #15 and #16!

A girl? Or a Boy? What will it be!

These past weeks have been filled with so many exciting News .. Baby is growing normally and Mommy hasn't been gaining any weight! Let’s not JINX that! Any how .. Besides awesome baby news we had many Birthday Celebrations and other Type of Celebrations that are IMPORTANT and must be mentioned!

¿Baby Size? For week 15 Baby G was the size of an Apple he or she measured about 4 inches (10.2 cm) long and weights about 1.75 ounces (50 g). The speed of Baby’s growth over the next few months will be picking up! Baby is growing so FAST! Moving on .. For week 16 which I am currently on (‘til Tuesday of next week) Baby is about the size of and Avocado (which I LOVE!!) that's 4.3 to 4.7 inches (10.9 to 11.9 cm) long from Crown to rump and its weight is at about 2.7 ounces (78 g). I have a feeling this Baby will be the size of DADDY! (Our Daddy is HUGE! Big Big Big Big Daddy!)

What I researched lately: I was truly confused about how you divide the 40 weeks into the 9 months so each time I was asked how many months are you? I’d answer I’m ___ weeks! YEAH WEEKS! Know I've learned (Got a cute magazine of all things Baby from one of Javi’s aunts) that I’m 4 months and something .. STILL CLOUDY! LOL! Besides that I've read that I might start to feel Baby G’s movements at any point from now! I've been sitting very still and tried to feel anything .. Doctor says he or she is a mover because each time we get an Ultrasound its goes all over the place and makes very sudden movements but maybe since It’s my first Pregnancy it might take a little longer than if it would be my second or third belly!

Fun Baby facts for week #15:

My heart is working overtime to supply Baby G’ with Oxygen. It’s pumping about 20% more than it was before Pregnancy. (Love this connection!)
As my abdomen increases its size, I might find that it grows harder, that happens so I can find a comfortable sleeping position (Not Happened yet! Having a hard time to sleep at night .. Can’t imagine when the Bump actually kicks in full gear)
Baby’s skeletal and muscular systems continue to develop as he or she slowly becomes more active.
His or Her bones are becoming harder and retaining calcium

Fun Baby facts for week #16:

Baby’s muscles are now developing to the point that he or she can hold its head erect
It’s facial muscles can display a variety of expressions now! (How adorable!)
Baby’s nails are well formed
Depending on the Baby’s position Doctor might be able to determine my baby’s sex on an Ultrasound Scan.

Symptoms: So the first Trimester for me was good no Nausea just some Back pain which I was told was normal .. But since I've entered Trimester #2 I've been .. How can I put this and not gross everyone out .. mmm .. I haven’t been retaining much of what I eat which is making it even harder for me to choose meals that are not only healthy but filling! I can control it at times with anything citrus like Oranges, Tangerines and fruits like that, but it’s been tough I have to admit! I got sick this past week (Fevers and all) So I went for a quick Doctors check up which consisted Basically of Blood-work and some of my levels were a little low so Doctor said I had to start eating better and exploring different food plates to see what I can eat and actually keep inside me!

I had my Ultrasound and Doctors appointment on March 4th, 2013. This was an eventful day I went to get my US with 5 other family members.. Doctor always says I fill the clinic when I go to get my Belly scanned! Daddy came (wouldn't miss it!) Grandpa Rey and Auntie Silvana joined as well as cousin Mau .. But the most exciting visit was from Auntie Angelica! She came in with me and I know she is enjoying this Belly as much as me! Such a sweet moment when we heard Baby’s heart together .. We bonded it was a GOOD DAY! Above is Baby G’s snapshot that day!

Next Doctors Appointment: is Set for April, 4th, 2013

Next Ultrasound Appointment: as well as my next scan is set for 04.04.13, but since the next Doctor’s appointment is in the morning I might get it the day before! April 3rd, 2013! (Doctor was pretty insisting on finding out Baby's gender that day! .. I'll pray for this to actually happen)

Important events or Situations this past weeks: Auntie Angelica turned 21! (March 5th) my Intentions on taking her to the scan the day before was to give to her as a Birthday present to be the only one (even counting me out) to know Baby G’s gender, but baby was shy (I think due to the fact that there were 5 other people besides me and the Doctor inside the Ultrasound room) He or She had its arms crossed behind its neck and legs very tightly shut (Just like Daddy watches TV!!) Que fresca(o)! Sorry I couldn't give you that Birthday present nena! .. But now the deal is off! It expired that same day! : D .. March 5th was also the day me and Daddy Javi were celebrating our 2 year anniversary! So glad to be with such a loving and caring man! So responsible and Family oriented! Thank you very much Mr.Gonzalez for filling my Life with such immeasurable JOY and Happiness! And yeah .. Out of respect I will add that Venezuela’s President passed away on this day too and that’s as far as my comment will go wishing his Family is well and in peace! (NOTE: Politics is such a BAD subject to talk about people always argue! My opinion!)

So it’s FRIDAY! YEA!!!!

Thank GOD! I need some rest .. Had 2 Truly exhausting weeks!

Weekly Bump Update: 14th week

Estimated Arrival .. August 2013!

This has been and eventful week .. Mommy had pain on her lower Belly on Monday and had to go to the Doctor .. But everything is OK .. nothing big! Besides that I'm excited to say that this week I'll be online shopping for some of your Baby Nursery Essentials! You may be thinking .. How if you don't know the gender yet? .. I'm buying the neutral pieces and later on I'll go shopping (Or grandma D' will go shopping) for those extra pieces that will show and truly reveal your gender inside your nursery! So here's a ittle update on Baby's development this week ..

¿Baby Size? I was excited to have done a different Chalk Board this week (Changing it from fruit baby to anything fun that pops through my head!) .. But since I changed it I have to say that by this week Baby G' is about the size of a Nectarine. Baby measures about 3.5 to 4 inches (8.9 to 10.2 cm) long. At this point he or she weights about 1 whole ounce (28.4 grams)

What I researched lately: I've read that during this week , the hormonal changes to my body are becoming more apparent .. have to dig a little deeper and find out what's between the lines there!

Fun Baby facts for week #14:

He or she has developed soft nails on it's nails and toes (How cute .. Tiny things)
Baby's blood its also starting to form in its Bone Marrow and Blood vessels (Mommy's and Daddy's DNA gotta be somewhere in there)
As the eyes and ears continue to move into place, the mouth has gone through mayor development .. the sucking muscles are growing and the salivary glands are almost fully developed. (Hopefully you don't suck your thumb or are attached to a pacifier, mommy is still using braces .. NOT NICE!)

Symptoms: Besides the little incident I had on Monday this week has been A-Ok .. I might be having a little more nausea than usual .. but nothing I can't deal with! Usually I con control it with anything citrus or cold! I've even started to eat MELON .. which is weird since I've never liked it!

Next Doctors Appointment: Still set for Monday March, 4th, 2013

Next Ultrasound Appointment: As well as my US .. YEY for March, 4th, 2013! By the way the day after is our wedding anniversary! Can't believe it's almost been two years already! And that Baby G' is on its way!

Important events or Situations this past week: Oscar's were on Sunday, February 24th, 2013 .. Mommy nailed 16 out of 20 categories. I entered a contest at the place where Daddy buys movies! Have I ever mentioned Daddy loves movies and has gotten mommy hooked on them too! He has over 6000! YEAH! We are huge MOVIE-HOLICS! I bet we will get you hooked too!

I really don't know how I get myself into this? .. But Auntie Angelica sure pushes it .. So here it is another not really thought or planned Belly Picture!

Can't believe its almost Thursday .. Time is passing by so quickly!

Weekly Bump Update : 13th week

First week of our 2nd Trimester!

Besides evidently entering the second Trimester! I've been truly excited about my next Ultrasounds because from this point on I've been told baby's gender could be revealed at any "Picture session"! It might be between weeks 15 and 19! So once we have Baby's gender results were throwing a "Gender Reveal Bash" .. Gathering might be sooner than we think!

¿Baby Size? 13th week and my sweet Baby G' is the size of a Tangerine. One of my Favorite fruits!!! He or She stands between 2.7 to 3 inches or 6.5 - 7.6 cm long. Baby weight is at about 0.5 to 0.8 ounces (or 14.2 to 21.3 g)

What I researched lately: At week 13 Baby is developing Significantly as well as growing .. about an inch per week. One thing that is apparent is the slowdown in the growth of Baby Gs' head as its body catches up. Baby's face is also starting to look more human rather than Alien-ish - It's eyes are moving closer together while ears move to their normal position!

Fun Baby facts for week #13:

Baby is practicing swallowing as it continues to take in amniotic fluids
She or He might have a thumb or toe in her or his mouth, practicing for nursing (Good for mommys who expect to do so) but its sucking muscles are not fully developed yet
All 20 teeth have also formed hidden under the gums
Baby can also smile (How cute!)

Symptoms: This week began with severe back aches but they slowly faded away and I've been doing much Better. I've had less nausea but if I cook its really hard to eat afterwards because just smelling and touching food makes me Iffy .. So If I make a good meal for Javi by the end of my cooking session I'd have to eat something totally different .. Seriously ~~NOT REMOTELY~~ close or related!

Next Doctors Appointment: This week I had to go to my Doctors office on Monday (February, 18th, 2013) .. Nothing serious just had Bad back pain and had to go in for a quick Check up! My real appointment was scheduled for February, 25th, 2013 but since I went in it got Re-scheduled for March, 4th, 2013

Next Ultrasound Appointment: Got re-scheduled as well for either March, 3rd or 4th, 2013

Important events or Situations this past week: Daddy Turned 27 this week (Wednesday, February, 20th, 2013) We had a nice "Taco Night Fiesta for him" super fun pictures will be shown in the February events update post! We even crafted a little picture as a gift for Daddy's cake Topper!

Pictures this week were also Taken by Auntie Angelica and I'm sure she'll be taking them for EVERY WEEK! She's a great support system and help! She is my cousin but more like a sister to me and I know she's as excited for this baby as I am! She'll kill me once she reads this but I have to TELL! Have to .. when I showed her our 2nd Ultrasound mini video she cried a little! Sweet little Teary auntie! So happy to have her!

This week she encouraged me to take a bare bump picture (Bottom) And this is as far as I could go. I'm told for being at 13 weeks my belly is big but I feel like its still in its awkward stage! lol .. That's why I don't show a lot .. YET! I know once it's in full throttle the Bump will be shown!

Weekly Bump Update : 12th week

Bye Bye First Trimester! Hello 2nd!

So Exciting to be 1/3 of the way ahead! For A while I had been thinking and Planning on doing the Cute Chalk Board Bump Tracking Picture each week .. So here goes nothing! First "WEEKLY BUMP UPDATE" starting of with week #12 (I'm actually almost into the 13th but didn't want to wait any longer) So excited to be using my custom made Chalkboard!!

¿Baby Size? 12th week Baby G' is the size of a Lime or Lemon (Between 2.5 to 2.8 inches or 6.4 - 7 cm long) At this point Baby is at about 0.3 to 0.5 ounces (or 8.5 to 14.2 g)

What I researched lately: At week 12 baby is fully formed. Though its brain and organs will continue to grow and develop, it has all the necessary pieces. However, it wouldn't be able to survive out of the womb yet! To early to come out my little Lime!

Fun Baby facts for week #12:

Baby's vocal cords have begun to form
Fingers and Toes have separated

The external genitalia have also developed (So from this week on baby might be showing signs of either the male or female Sex) How exciting! Can't wait to find out! (Gender Reveal party Happening soon)

Symptoms: This week has been all about my Backaches .. It got rough this week so I had to call my Doctor and ask him for Instructions! He's such a good Doctor! Thank God he's friends of the Family because I tend to be a little annoying (I just care to much about everything! You can never be TO CAREFUL)

Important events or Situations this past week: We had a mini Valentine's day shoot for Daddy which I will posting sometime in the next few days! And both Great-grandfathers celebrated Birthdays! AMAZING AND BLESSED to have them all!

So I might post tomorrow or the day after that my 13 weeks: WEEKLY BUMP UPDATE! The pictures for the 12th week were taken several days ago by Auntie Angelica, but due to my back pain I avoided the Computer and wasn't able to upload or update anything 'til today! Hope I can keep up with this throughout the BUMP growing and growing!

On one last piece of News Javi's Birthday is in 2 days! Planning a little Mexican Taco night! Cake and cupcakes got ordered today!

10 - 11 weeks Pregnancy - Update!

Hello Everybody! So Glad to actually be able to get up off my Lazyness and write an Entry! This Two weeks (Week 10 & Week 11) have been amazing, but First things First, here's a list of some events and Important Things that occurred since January 23rd which is the Date of the last post I wrote (Excuse the Instagram only pictures):

January, 24th, 2013

My Birthday .. Went to Lunch with My Family & Later that evening sliced a Cake at my grandparents House! By the way .. I Fell asleep on the Couch during my own Birthday Gathering! Mommy mode: ON! (FOR SURE) Also on this day I was supposed to go to my 2nd Doctor's appointment & to get my 2nd Ultrasound done .. But I rescheduled!

Funny Faces with my Little Sister during lunch! She's the cutest!

And some Funny ~~Texting~~ went on between me and my AWESOME husband that morning!

Note: I took the opportunity .. and for my Birthday asked my close Family members that If they were getting me presents to get in Touch with my mom .. Everyone got me HOME THINGS for the Renovation! Baby Remodeling starting very Soon! Way to go MOM!

This is the actual date my Second Doctor's appointment and US occurred! It was even more exciting and Emotional than the First Time .. I cried and Daddy was so proud to see How much Baby G had grown that he took a Video with my phone .. Hopefully I'm able to Upload it! Baby's so Big the Doctor double checked how far I'm along during the US appointment!

February, 1st, 2013

First day of February! So excited for all the Fun activities I will bee doing this month in School! Cancer Awareness on the 4th! Water day on the 5th! Carnaval Party (Venezuela's Mardi gras I guess) on the 8th .. Valentine's Day Bash and Photo-shoot between the 14th and 15th and Last but not least from the 18th to the 22nd we'll be celebrating "La Semana Bolivariana" which is pretty much a week on "EVERYTHING VENEZUELA INVOLVED"

SUPERBOWL SUNDAY - February, 3rd, 2013

Attempted to make Chocolate Caramel Oreo Truffles found this on someones Blog or Pinterest .. Just hope I could remember who!

Recipe:

Ingredients (approx. a dozen to 15 Truffles)

1 package of Oreos
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
8 oz. semisweet chocolate {I used Betty Crocker's "Rich & Creamy"}
8 oz. Caramel

Instructions

Bring the cream cheese to room temperature.
Break up the Oreos and put them in a food processor. Process until they are a powder.
Mix the cream cheese and Oreos together. I always use my hands because it’s the best way to get the mixture combined, though it is rather messy.
Roll the mixture into balls. Place on a cookie sheet and put in the freezer for 15-20 minutes so they can solidify.
Next melt the chocolate and Pour it slowly over the Truffles
After that, Melt the Caramel and use a Spoon to unevenly spread little lines over the Chocolate Truffles
Refrigerate until serving, at least one hour.
Enjoy!

February, 5th, 2013

We got married according to the "LAW" (lol)!! This is the day me and Javi got married two years ago .. So it was our "Anniversary" .. We don't really celebrate this date, we celebrate March 5th which was our WEDDING WEDDING DATE .. Mmm .. But I did remember it that day at some point so me and Javi had a "Dinner date at Home" which I'm totally in Love with ever since I got pregnant .. Again Mommy Mode: ON!

10th and 11th week update

This two weeks have been filled with exciting News! Our 2nd Doctors appointment happened and we are super healthy and BIG!

¿Baby Size? - 10th week you were the size of a Kumquat & 11th week you are the size of a Fig (Had to Google both) lol .. This is according to the "I'm Expecting" app on my phone!

Daddy's thoughts lately: He is beyond excited. He has been watching over and over again the Baby video he took at our Ultrasound appointment. He loves you so much! We both do! I designed three pieces of Furniture which your Grandpa will make: A closet, crib and some Shelving to surround a window!

And YES, this is one of the pages of the Baby Notebook! 17 pages 'til now!

Some pictures I took this past two weeks:

3 Sisters In law + 3 Baby nephews (1 missing, he was sleeping I think)

The point is that they each have either one baby or two .. Only one ~~missing WAS~~ me!

Love the WAS factor! (By the way this was on Feb 2nd, 2013 "Pool day")

11 weeks down - 29 to Go! lol ( : This was TODAY! (Feb 6th, 2013)

It was a Knit Sweater & Floral Pants Kind of Day (Feb 6th, 2013)

Besides all of this Information I have to say I've grown to be a huge FAN of Fun Lunch and meal making for Kids! I don't really remember how I stumbles upon this, but I did! I Will be writing about it soon! OBSESSION ALERT! Warning: The term "Bento" will be used! But First I have to find out what that is .. New terms!! If you have any help or info on this make sure to stop by my Facebook and explain! PLEASE!

On another subject I have some super cute hand-made presents and Decorations planned for Valentine's day! Exciting things to come! Hope I can keep up with ALL that I've planned .. Expecting a lot from my Lazy and Sleepy-self! I REPEAT THE MOMMY MODE IS ON!

P.S: I will be trying to change the way our Blog looks soon .. or Sometime!

I had the BEST time ever! It was a very Joyful and Fun experience! Everybody enjoyed themselves! I was more than Happy! THRILLED!

This Happened on Saturday, January 19th 2013 .. The shoot began at about 4pm ..

And we got a Little Carried away and went right in the night!

Each day I get more excited and I've been trying to ENJOY and really take in everything that's happening to us! We are all SMILES & GIGGLES!

Oh Baby Gonzalez! Me & your daddy trully LOVE each other and already Love YOUU!

We are anxiously waiting for your arrival .. And getting the House and everything ready!

Grandparents Rivas (My Parents) Are going Shopping to the U.S for all of your stuff on May! (They got the Tickets already, they're also SUPER excited!)

I LOVE YOU BABY G! And I will Document every Step of the way, so once you grow up you can see HOW BIG .. I MEAN HUGE our Love for you is! Right from the BEGGINING!

And yes it's Visible (as you can see in the 1st Picture) we are growing!

Can't believe I didn't see the signs!

- Baby & Mommy's Book of Ideas (I'll explain this in the next post ..)

- Weekly Picture of the Bump (So Excited to start this!)

- Remodeling the House a bit and moving things around to accomodate our baby!

- Planning the Baby Gender Reveal Party

- Planning My Baby Shower

- And .. Planning Daddy's Beer & Diaper Bash (Yeah I Love Planning a good Gathering!)

- Will try to set a date for Our "Beggining of the Pregnancy" photoshoot! (Hint: It might take place at the same venue we got married!)

What to EXPECT when you're expecting?

Sunday, 09.09.12 4:53pm .. "So about an hour ago I watched what has most probably been the most amazing movie I've seen this year (Sorry to my MOVIE-HOLIC husband Javi because according to him the BEST movie this year is Batman Rises!) I don't really know how old this movie is or when exactly it was released but it's Funny and REAL! It touches sensitive spots in a womens heart!"

This is a movie based on the Best Selling Book "What to expect when you're expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. According to www.imdb.com it's "A look at love through the eyes of five interconnected couples experiencing the thrills and surprises of having a baby, and ultimately coming to understand the universal truth that no matter what you plan for, life doesn't always deliver what's expected."

I laughed so much .. AND cried so much! But ultimately this movie brought me a bunch of JOY and just took my BABY WANTING-METER to an even higher level! Because whether I have an awesome, sucky or any other type of situation at all with my pregnancy (in a very hopefully SOON future) I will embrace it ALL! And knowing Javi he will to! This film also opened my eyes to the amazing experience that could be adopting a baby. I think that even if you can or can't have children it should always be an option! On the same note I also found a website which I believe is an inspiration on the book as well! www.whattoexpect.com which according to my google search it a site that helps you Track your pregnancy week-by-week and find answers to questions on toddler development, baby development .. and much more!!

What I Want in 2013...

I can't help myself. I save a lot and I am money conscious but I do manage to somehow end up at the mall almost every weekend. So here are a few things that I hope to purchase this year:

Canon Ti3. I have always wanted a professional camera and I think that this year I will finally purchase one! I really enjoy taking photos, specially during my trips.

Sony Vaio E14 Series (Pink). I was about to buy it last month when it seemed that my laptop was dying. It survived and I had to cancel my order. But I might just get it soon enough!

Besides material items, I really want to see snow this year. It's been years since the last time I've been in NYC when it was snowing and Eduardo has never seen it. So, I am hoping to go to NYC in December and let's pray it snows just like it did in 2012.

Something else that is a top priority in my list for this year is to continue practicing French. I actually studied French in middle school and high school but haven't practiced in a very long time.

And lastly...I hope to continue traveling. Possibly Washington D.C., Boston, Louisiana, or outside of the U.S.
