What is Conclusion? Is conclusion only for good? What if we don’t conclude?
Conclusion is important primarily for two reasons:

1) To put bits & pieces into one place

2) To give a fresh start

Think over of above two points and comprehend… you would find everything/everyone has a specific start & an end.
…

Start is required for change

End is required to propagate change

…
I was sitting in a white room with white revolving chairs and a white board by my back. The color reflected serenity in the atmosphere and the person with whom my meeting continued. The room was not new to me for it was my boss room. And I was there for my appraisal.

I have been in the company close to 2 years & which is into building products sector with competencies in executing projects & designs related to same domain. I’m into Projects Division which mainly deals with developing jobs like creating new production facilities, enhancing present facilities to meet requirements. Prior to this I had no job experience.

After completing one year of training period. I was associated with capacity enhancement project as Site Incharge. It was a 6 month project which involved 16 crore worth machinery & services to be installed & executed.

It has now been 2 months past the deadline, the project’s still not complete.

For my appraisal. I had no achievements to be shown as at the end of the day I was the Incharge of a project which got delayed.

Boss: How was your experience till now?

Me: First year was baseless with no responsibility and second year it was opposite with the huge responsibility of handling a project where material, stake holders, manpower conditions are met. It was a learning experience. I now see huge scope which was unclear during my first year at the company.

Boss: What are your future expectations?

Me: I want to be part of full length project where I would want to clear off the mistakes that are committed in this project and ensure intime completion.

Boss: What are the mistakes and why did you commit them?

Me: Managing the project execution required more professionalism which I was unaware of before.

Boss: Project management is more about planning & monitoring and less about execution management

Me: Very True

Boss: You have done many things. Now, when I want to rate you where you stand. I’m certain that you did things which I know you have put sincere effort and we are happy with your ability but we expect more and results that are specific & with conclusion. Data which is substantial, the data that can prove that you have done your work well.

Me: Yes, it is important and I understand

…

The above conversation was thought provoking. Infact, now I see how I defined myself all these years without a logical conclustion. I was the same not only at work but with my daily chores, thoughts, relationships, career & life. Though, it is early to comprehend about life. Eventually, small deeds over years define you.

I have started working on the core requirement for today’s success i.e. conclude & project. Everyone has ability to work but projecting the work done is important.

Hoping my conclusion to be a new start for you…

P.S: Lifezlesson (Life’s Lesson)- a platform which shares “real” life experiences and learning from them hope to have passed on message from editors unadulterated.

“4th year engg student”

“Trainee”

.

.

What is common with these people?

“Confusion”

one-what to chose?, second-what to do?

In the mean course, both try to look out for help… help from a person who has clarity with what to chose and what to do… they look for a person who resembles a model… more precisely a “ROLE MODEL”

It is important for everyone to search/choose Role Model.

–

Game of Thrones is a TV series based on Roman History. About seven kingdoms and respective kings who want to hold iron throne, throne which rules seven kingdoms… The plot runs in from seven kingdoms showing their culture, plans & strategies…. Every episode seems interesting & exciting…

Through out the series I have tried to search for my role model, a person close to my characteristics whom I can observe & learn from his decisions and compare myself in same situation… then as the TV series goes on fast track unlike our life … I know before hand about decisions and their reflections in near future…

Game of Thrones has been a learning experience… with seven rulers, seven leaders, seven strategies and a core central theme connecting these seven dots….. the motive to become “KING”

–

How to choose a Role Model?

As I already said the role model has to resemble you or at least you want to be like… Generally, Every person tends to chose the lead character as a role model… you may not be a lead character always, this way of choosing may give you temporary excitement or fill your brain with energy but it drains out easily too. Thus, it is important to note that

1) Role Model should resemble you in either aspirations, character or attitude

2) Checkout for qualities in role model which are your core strengths i.e. the qualities which may get you high in your environment

3) A person closely associated with you can be very influential.. ex: your mom, friend or boss

What to avoid?

1) There can be many role models… each defining particular characteristic but don’t get confused

2) Role model is just like template whose whole purpose is to guide you… but your purpose should not be to follow him but learn from him

3) Role Models are inspiring… but the inspiration grows when you achieve… its important to start working towards the goal

4) Try not to imitate role model or all his qualities… imbibe just the qualities which suit you and are important & urgent

Who can be?

1) Parents

2) Friends

3) Teacher

4) Celebrity/Historical Figure…

Let me know how you have chosen one and your learning below…

Sherlock Holmes uses his “mind palace” to seek important facts and associations in his memory relevant to the case.

Mind palace is a technique to represent memories spatially which once installed in their proper places, are subject to subtle change as they stand waiting to be called forth… also, as the memory house grows, it makes conjunctions and vistas and hence represent a palace.

I’m not sure of this technique… but we have a natural way to retrieve or scroll images/memory… Its by IMAGINATION

Eyes are like cameras which click photos through out the day…

Mind starts arranging this photos when we sleep… the one’s important are linked to palace and rest to “recycle bin”

Every man has some interests… It might be for a person or thing accordingly images are picked & manipulated…

A donkey might look beautiful if you are obsessed…

This bias nature of human creates links in brain which makes his needs appear easy… (I don’t see how donkey might look beautiful)

Mind has the ability to play with your images and all your actions are based on how these images are arranged…

Order is important… as each manipulation results in definite meaning, action, memory

—

You may very well remember & imagine yourself walking from your home to first corner…

Mind scrolls images stored in your memory infront of your sleeping eyes… and you see them…

not only images, it plays sound too, induces sense of touch…. you’re now “Imagining”

You are now… manipulating images to see what you want to see, hear what you want to hear, feel what you want to feel…

—

This is the reason… great people stress on “Dreams”, “Imagination”

These are very powerful tools to mould self but one-thing misses out in our imagination.. i.e. “smell”

you cannot remember “smell” or you don’t have vocabulary to describe it or preserve it in your brain…

—

As per my deductions… smell is the only distinguishing factor between truth/false, good/bad… dream/reality…

So, try to smell in your dreams and let me know if you can do it!!!

I had a mail from my friend about his conquests in US though not after celeb varsity teams but his struggle to gain A.

It even mentioned about his first crush…. sad, he never had before in his 22 years of humane existence…

Here comes the point…. what has he turned out to be… from logical to dillogical???

—–

I replied “Be logical…. about relationships”

there were back to back responses… “relationships are something that has to dealt with heart not mind…”

I would like to oppose…

I here make some statements about various stages of relationship (love) and my analysis…

1) Beeps start echos in ears… later phone gets heated & batteries drown fast…

Analysis: I text her coz she is beautiful, sexy, like-minded and she replies back…

or may be im just bored of one…. what is on other side?

She might too feel the same… I’m not psychologist to read out exactly what she thinks but just a student who can observe things around and deduce…

“Human looks for dependency… he is selfish, passionate”

2) End less talks… Nice business for telecom companies

Analysis: Interest grows to obsession

Why would too entities talk endlessly over matters like “Gm, have a nice day, had breakfast, lunch, dinner, what are you doing?, what else?, what are your plans?, Gn, take care, sleep well…. where do you think this leads to….

like u…hate u…love u…

“You are human only when you act humane… its in genes”

3) Credit cards slashing…

Analysis: Boys are always boys… very sensitive and yet very careful

Boy1: F**k man, phone bills…

Boy2: U got somethin’

Boy1: Naah… How do you think it so… I’m not like other guys

Boy2: Yeeaah… I know

Boy1: Her hair brush… quite expensive… I could have lived a month on tat

Boy2: Oh… so, its just a start!!!

Boy1: I like her

Boy2: like? does that mean love?

Boy1: nah nah… just like

Boy2: what’s difference between like and love?

Boy1: I… don’t know

after a month…

Boy1: hey… u look great…

Boy2: been to gym… u look dull… is it her?

Boy1: nah… we are gud… i love her

Boy2: Oh!!! like it was?

Boy1: you know like is love & love’s like

Boy2: what have you been listening to…. Justien Bieber?

Boy1: how do you know???

Boy2:

after a month…

Boy1: Hi!!! man

Boy2: U r excited?

Boy1: Yep, I dumped her

Boy2: what about “Made for each other”

Boy1: It was fake… it was just “Made in China”

Boy2: whatever…

—

In stage one, it was dependency

In stage two, it was obsession

In stage three, it was possessiveness… later frustration

“Fruit won’t get sweeter after it is ripe”

So is it Logical or Dillogical??? “THE RELATIONSHIPS”

Its been quite long since… I scratched my head to write…

Now its time… I just cannot leave my baby idle…

Today its about perception… some incidents, examples, observations for you

You surely might have met Meera Gupta or alike who sob for reasons beyond. Most Indians are likely to be of such nature. The culture linked with self-realization, honesty, humbleness tend to have impact on how we perceive the day-to-day events.

It is very likely that my writings also reflect part of it

As it turned out to be…

Indians relatively are the easy ones to get cheated and as newton’s word goes “every action has reaction”, we are much capable of cheating too…

“Politician cheats people and people cheat polity be voting for frauds”

….

Not only politics… advertisements… whose purpose is to popularize xyz… do so by cheating with illogical statements/acts.

strategy1: use our tooth brush it cleans 99*% of germs from teeth (don’t forget * mark near 99%)

strategy2: 80*% germs don’t reside on teeth, our new improved brush cleans ur tongue (f**k does that mean germs reside on tongue?)

and in near future u will find ads saying brushes does everything except cleaning ur teeth… and yet people buy… why?

Ads in mean course have changed our perception… an evolved perception which no way seems sensible.

How to react?

Times changed… but how we perceive is still the same…

Its our senses…

Keep them healthy… then you are on right track… (Wow!!! what a deduction )

To know more about perception you can visit worldtruth .

When you have spent more than 20 yr with your family, it’s very difficult to stay away from them, all time you keep remembering them, you start feeling alone without them. To get rid off from this we start gathering our memories, some sweet some sour memories, which keeps us touched with our loved ones. Same is happening with me, when I was going back into my memories I could remember one incidence, which taught me lot…………

I was in 12th standard, it was Diwali time, and my parents had been to my village. My brother (golu) and I were at home in Nagpur. In the midnight at 2am, golu’s stomach started paining, he was crying like anything, I was scared, immediately I took him to doctor, doctor checked him and told me , he has got torsion testis, we have to operate him immediately , doctor referred him to GMC Nagpur, I took him to GMC at 2.30am, no doctor was there, I went to every doctor’s door and asked them to operate my brother, and operation started at 3.30am, I didn’t inform my parents about this, because it was high time and I didn’t want to make them panic. That time I had no money to get medicine but somehow I could manage and got the medicines, finally he came out from operation theatre at 5.30am, he was unconscious, I confirmed his condition and called up my parents , my parents reached hospital, that time golu was awake, pain was stopped, everyone from family was happy for him. But my father was crying looking at me, he could not believe that his child (18 yrs old) has saved his brother’s life; this was the day I saw my father crying for first time.

It was horrible day for me and my family but I could learn lot out of it, the first thing I learnt is that, never get panic with situation, try to keep yourself calm and give some time to yourself and get the solution for the problem. If it is possible to solve any problem by your own, then do it alone don’t panic others. Anyone can save the day by keeping themselves calm and making good decisions at right time………………..

Part – II

That day I could save my brother…

But, how did i get required medicines???

It was high time and somehow I had to get those medicines, but had no money to get them.

I was bit scared about my brother, lots of pressure, didn’t know what would happen, my mind started sending fear signals weakening my thoughts

I thought to call my friend’s father for money but I didn’t want to disturb him, and even didn’t want to disturb my parents who were far away in village. Then I called one of my best friends, he didn’t pick my call, time was passing very fast, I wanted no delay in operating my brother as he was going through unbearable pain, he was crying all the time, I had no courage to face him, my body too weakened with time…

As every path was narrowing…. I had no choice but try to request medicine shop owner for medicines, with that hope I ran to the shop, medicines were bit costly. It was difficult for him to give medicines to me without money, because I was not known to him. I told him the necessity of medicines but he turned down my request, why would anyone give anything to unknown person? I pleaded, begged as I had no choice, but his heart didn’t melt for my brother. I needed Rs.4500/-, there was no other shop. I was helpless, getting weak from inside….

Suddenly, I remembered of my bike… without any second thought I put the keys of bike in his hand and grabbed medicines and started running towards hospital. I stopped when heard distant sound in Marathi, “ye mula thamb”(hey boy stop). I turned back, he was the same medicine shop owner who was calling me, I went to him, he gave me my keys, apologized and asked to return money when I will have it…..

This is how operation started at 3.30am, I called up my parents around 5am, situation was now under control. My brother’s pain was relieved…. Around 11am I went to shop and paid money for medicines, he was still apologizing for not giving me medicines. I don’t know what made him give medicines to me, but I would always be thankful to him…

How is the title???…. flattered?

This was what my friends suggested… when I had difficulty to draw traffic to site. Yep, they were very true. It’s the adult/phishing content that always has got upper hand.

Now my point is….

Why we… the so called youth is driven in that direction…. reasons are simple but causes are more important. Hence, it is important here to discuss what can be done to avoid it.

But why to avoid it? I enjoy…

Hmnn… If that’s your answer then you don’t have anything more to read about in this flattering article… But if you want to dwel into causes what made our generation to be proactive in these areas.

Answers might be…. Internet (knowledge with out wisdom), Parents, Environment, Western Culture impact…

This is just a small list of possibilities….

World today runs on communication… the level of information being fed to brain has multiplied in the recent years. But there were no steps taken with regards to counter the unwanted information. Today a 14year old might know the sex in full… I’m not against it but information is complete only when it helps to gain wisdom. Indian children on the other hand were over protected. This turned out to be a good method in the past but with the world of information at desk this over protectionism may catalyze minds to know more and more and more…

Ask any new entrant into industry… He would definitely aim to be in top level management within 2-5 years. People wanna grow more… grow fast… but they fail to support their fast growth. Thus a steady growth can sustain rather than a fast growth. It means enjoying to the extent required for the age would be helpful and makes life worth experiencing…

As I always point out… relationship is one main concern as today’s relations are brittle… This is true as most of the lovers are unable to keep up their relationship… It is just an attraction, people want to live life faster and leave faster. The conservative society is no more…

This world has people with two masks like nityananda…

1) facebook

which has handsome pics, quotes of gandhiji, photos of vivekananda, sharing of god images, status updates to impress others, sharing photos of diseased people to show sympathy

2) fakebook

where being famous is motto, uploading photos to get liked, sharing social activities to get sympathy

But where do friends stand… They are after status updates, photos, videos, chat with girls/boys…

Causes

No mate to share your true self

No time to know yourself

No time to work on building relationships

How to avoid it???

compliment mom for food she cooks & share your day experiences with her

play outdoor games

read good books

visit temples/mosque/church once a month atleast.

work on ur interests (guitar,meditation)…

I may be very harsh on putting on these points… But they are harsh

All the points may not be valid but take those which are….

Share your views below … help me improve my articles

It was 10:30pm, I was still at sports club practicing Table Tennis…

I never played it before… but had to… to support my partner who plays good.

5 of my friends were organizing so called “Annual Sports Meet” at Office. It was one such successful event drawing in huge participation.

I would like to share few things… which helped us to be successful and also few which if avoided could have been better…

Team Effort

To have good results it is important to have a team which understands the problem, be rational and most importantly well communicative. The flawless communication and idea sharing is what brought results portraying skills of a great team. It is always observed that a person need not learn book on public speaking to say a speech. The skills are spontaneous and constructive… start working in team proving 1+1=11

Ego less

When organizing… it happens that one take lead and rest follow. This kind of approach is both harmful and risky. It usually requires great deal of understanding of team members to make sure they are on track and don’t misfire. Ego destroys the belief and creates communication gap which is very crucial for coordination.

SMART

Hardworking is good… but a S-Specific, M-Measurable, A-Achievable, R-Realistic, T-Time based (S.M.A.R.T) work is much better…. we had our roles specific, our duties measurably equal, targets mended to be achievable, approaching problem in a real way with our time lines fixed made us look SMART.

Divide and Rule Policy

With Power comes cruelness… It has to distributed even. All of us divided roles showing no unbalance in the kind of roles to be played. Which made all of us self-satisfied with the kind of work given and being done. Dividing work and ruling as king was our policy. Decision making which forms Crux of any issue was solely handed to respective person which removed tensions.

Selfishness

18th century …. Do work but don’t expect result

21st century….. Do work…. expect result…. then market urself

When working its important to know what we are working for and what is being expected out from us. Now, branding that work done is still more important… to get appreciation… At the end of day, a compliment always keeps mind working rather than worrying.

and now lets dwell into what could have been better…

Process Flow

In events where probability of happening is strictly not determined. It is always recommended to aware people of what next step rather than showing them the whole ladder to climb on. This mantra works well for doubtful tasks…. But a good communication would outcome this disadvantage…

Rules

Experiencing the task is must to know what could be the issue. It is equally important to state boundary conditions clearly which denotes the raw presence of you as guide

Pre-Planning

It is mostly seen that people work when its urgent… rest of the time is wasted. A proper pre plan help-us to forecast the problems and be prepared for them. This though we have sorted out but a great depth of understanding is required to keep up healthy competition through out the tournament.

Hence, there are many qualities which helped us do better but there are many which have to be considered depending on the goal at hand.

All the best !!!

I was speaking over skype to my friend in US. He felt sad about missing us and India too… (it been 8 months since we were done with engineering)

The guy who always sued me for saying “All people are good” was using same sentences… now….

US did changed him from a dependent to independent personality…

After speaking for 2hrs on various topics… ranging from course, girls, US, India, Job etc etc…

He returned to his original tone of egoistic… (sorry buddy )

Yep, he was egoistic… But he accepted it… unlike the rest who put a mask to that quality…

When we were done… the next morning… I received a mail from him…

In which he expressed his happiness and shared it with a small group of friends… It was something worth appreciating. He spread the happiness which he got.

There are very few who do such things. I m happy that he has changed to extent required from egoistic to person who value relationship.

….

No doubt rest of the friends replied to his email sharing their experiences after college.

This is a good idea… Do write mail to your group and it is sure that you would get a reply. Share some of your responses below.

I remember a scene from a movie in which father teaches his son to swim…

When they reach shore… father pushes son into deep water, the boy screams for help, tries to swim, drowns and swims and at the end he makes to shore… to find father pushing him back into water…

Same was the incident with Alexander who ordered his men to destroy their ships when they reached enemy land… which was their only way to escape if they get defeated. so…

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”- M.K. Gandhi

The idea was to eliminate the choices in life….

When you are pushed to extent that you can only either Do or Die…

It is then you show your true colors… it is when…

“Your thoughts; become words. Your words; become actions. Your actions; become habits. Your habits; become character. Your character; becomes your destiny.”

A clear thought in mind is what is required to fulfill your destiny… why all this now?

I say, it’s now or never…

I dream of becoming an administrator, I dream of showing remarkable outputs from my project.

But the life always plays its role like mother making you comfortable at every point which makes you feel lazy to even take step ahead, and there are so many others to distract you from your goal… how to remain focused?

Eliminate choices

It’s either you or not you…

Life asks different questions but with only two options

YES or NO

It is YES or NO that decides your thoughts, actions, habits, character and attitude.

The delay in taking decision just adds up one more decision to be taken…

.

I want to study… but let me watch this movie now…

I want to exercise… but let me sleep for today…

.

“If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?”

I’m not a teacher to teach you how to act and react… I’m just a friend to remind you to act before it’s too late… I have missed an opportunity… so its to warn you before you fall into pit…

Practice to eliminate choices…coz…

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.”

And do take time out to relax and not relax to get timed out.
