Today I am showing you another shade from Italian brand Faby's brand new Fall/Winter 2019-20 nail polish Character collection.

Faby I know what is best is an "Intense red, the choice of the confident Faby woman". It's a red creme with a blue undertone, not too dark, not too light. Application is easy but it's not 100% opaque. It's also very glossy which makes me think of jelly-like nail polish. Drying time is super quick.

Today I am showing you a shade from Italian brand Faby's brand new Fall/Winter 2019-20 nail polish collection called Character.

As soon as I saw the press photos for this collection I fell in love with one of the shades: Fearless. "Dark grey, as intense as the darkness that blends into the shadows"

It's a perfect mix of dark grey with some blue, it's quite intriguing and very elegant. It's a creme finish, very glossy, quick to dry, very good coverage. Faby never lets down when it comes to quality.

Duri Cosmetics Divas Only

With Fall hitting us I feel like wearing duochromes on my nails again. Their colour changes always mesmerize me. I think I'll always love this finish.

My choice today is Duri Cosmetics 532 Divas Only. Duri is best known for the great Rejuvacote base coat. "From dying nails to nails to die for". I love it, it's my favourite base coat along with OPI Nail Envy. Well, surprise or not, they also make nail polish.

Duri Divas Only is a lilac to green metallic duochrome. It's amazingly opaque in two easy coat, which is so unexpected for such a light shade. You can see the brushstrokes, but honestly this one is so gorgeous I just didn't care. Drying time is fast.

I own 3 Duri nail polishes and all of them are really good quality. This one is my fave of the 3. These shades are really big on me. Plus this is not the usual purple-green duochrome that each and every brand released at some point. Duri Divas Only is lighter and it glows from within. I think its only dupe could be Zoya Adina maybe?

Hi everyone!

It looks like Fall is eventually hitting us over here and I am ready with the perfect shade on my nails! I would have loved to post a Halloween mani but time fell short on me.
Ciao a tutti!

Today's nail polish is no. 43 in Catrice's ICONails range: Monkey Donkey. It's a shade I can't describe to be honest. Light brown? Dark taupe? Plus it has that unique purple or reddish undertone that makes it so special. I loved it!

Application is very easy and it dries fast. Two coats are enough for full even coverage.

Hi everyone!

Italian salon brand TNS Firenze recently launched its FW 2019/20 nail polish collection called Grand Tour. Today's nail polish is part of that collection: no. 572 Foresta.

TNS Firenze 572 Foresta is a dark green creme that never leans black. Application is very easy, also thanks to the amazing brush. Formula is very creamy and coverage is perfect in two coats (very opaque at first one already actually).

TNS Firenze 577 Grand Tour

There it goes, Grand Tour, the shade that gives its name to the entire A/W collection by TNS Firenze. It's inspired by French lavender fields at sunset, when everything gets darker.

TNS Grand Tour is a dark plum purple creme that applies easily and is perfectly opaque in two coats. Quality is always top with TNS. This colour is so classy and perfect for the colder months ahead.

Kiko Power Pro 114 Lime Juice

Hi everyone!

New week, new Kiko Summer nail polish! This is no. 114 Lime Juice, and it's once again from the Power Pro range Summer 2019 colours.

Kiko Power Pro 114 Lime Juice is a pistachio green creme. The shade actually reminds me of Shrek cartoon character! Application is a dream once again. Gotta love this new range. Or should I say, the new updated formula. Because let's be honest, I hated the first released ones a few years ago! These new ones are a whole other level.

Hard Candy Sky

Hi everyone!

Quick nail fail post today.

Hard Candy Sky: a wonder in a bottle, a manicure nightmare! Four coats for *almost* even coverage. Fortunately it's workable although very watery. But 4 coats, seriously? Nope. Plus that lovely shimmer doesn't even show on the nails. It just looks like a very glossy nail polish. Big thumb down for me.

There's not much to say here. Quality wise it's awful and I didn't feel like looking for a good dupe either. How does it look to you?

Kiko Power Pro 117 Brick On Trend

Hi everyone!

It's Friday and it's probably been a tough week because I am very tired and I was completely forgetting to write this post!

Today's nail polish is Kiko Power Pro 117 Brick On Trend, a caramel creme. From the bottle I thought it was a brick or a terracotta orange, but once on the nails it definitely leans more caramel. And just by saying caramel I'd love me a fresh Sundae from McDonald's! Know what I'm talking about?

This Kiko nail polish is just the same as the other ones I've tested from the same range: great formula, easy application, glossy finish and long drying time. This one is actually a one-coater, too, although it gets even better with two.

Kiko Power Pro 111 Sweet Raspberry

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you Kiko Power Pro 111 Sweet Raspberry, a lovely raspberry creme nail polish. This is one of the colours Kiko released for Summer 2019 but it's actually already on sale almost everywhere I think (in Italy Summer sales started on July 4th).

Application was really easy with all the shades I've tried so far, including this. Formula is just perfect: not too thick, not watery at all. Unfortunately I got some bubbles this time because it's super hot and humid over here and I have no A/C. Not to blame the nail polish though. Drying time is quite bad for this whole range and you definitely need a top coat. I'm loving the Kiko gel effect at the moment.

Pupa 711 Dusty Blue

Hi everyone!

Super quick post today because I'm on a run.

Meet Pupa 711 Dusty Blue which is actually a gorgeous Tiffany blue creme despite its name. It has that tiny drop of green in it. Application is easy which is not granted with this kind of colour and given its old age. Formula is watery and little runny, you need 3 coats for an even coverage. Drying time is quick and the finish is glossy.

I've been a Pupa fan since my childhood (btw this is a very popular Italian brand). Their nail polish apply as new even after literally years.

I love this shade, it's just the perfect mix of blue and green and fits every season. It would work as a great base for a billion nail arts, too.

Kiko Power Pro 109 Watermelon Party

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you yet another Kiko nail polish. This is no. 109 and it's one of the new colours for Summer 2019 in the Power Pro range.

Kiko Power Pro 109 Watermelon Party is a dark pink creme that looks red in some light conditions. I get that watermelon can look either pink or red, but this nail polish is too dark in my opinion and reminds me of geranium flowers instead.

Application is very easy as all the other new shades I tested. Formula is perfect, it's not too thick and not thin at all either. The rounded brush makes the manicure quite easy. Finish is glossy. Drying time is long once again, but I keep using and loving Kiko gel effect top coat for that. It dries super quick!

If you like it I absolutely recommend it! It looks like a perfect shade for Summer.. and for any season for that matter!

L.A. Girl Color Addict Obsess

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you quite an old nail polish and forgive me if I have no clue whether it's still available or not. It's L.A. Girl Color Addict in the color Obsess. And I was so obsessed to get it when it was released and I kept seeing swatches of it all around the blogosphere. I simply had to it! But then it got forgotten in some drawer until now.

L.A. Girl Color Addict Obsess is a turquoise nail polish with a gorgeous golden shimmer. The shimmer is more visible in the bottle than on the nails but it's still there. Application was a dream despite its age. Two easy coats for a full deep coverage. Drying time was quite fast, too, but the finish is not too glossy so you better add a top coat.

Blue and purple mandala stamping

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you a nail art created with some Kiko nail products and BBBXL-057 stamping plate* by BeautyBigBang.

Starting from my Kiko Power Pro 113 Touch The Sky mani I added some gradient on my tips with Kiko Power Pro 112 Violet Landscape (I'm gonna swatch that one as soon as possible). Then I picked a pattern from BBBXL-057 stamping plate and I stamped it using MoYou Nails special stamping white.

I let it dry quickly and mattified the look with Kiko's Matte Effect top coat.

Can I say I loved this mani? It looked gorgeous in real life. Plus all the items I used are really good. I can honestly recommend them all.

Kiko Power Pro 113 Touch The Sky

Hi everyone!

New week, new Kiko mani! Today's nail polish is yet again one of the newly released shades for Summer 2019 within the Power Pro range.

Kiko Power Pro 113 Touch The Sky is a sky blue creme which is absolutely brilliant for Summer. It makes me happy to sport such a bright shade on my nails.

Application is super easy. The formula is amazing and the rounded brush makes it very easy to work with. Finish is glossy but once again drying time is incredibly slow. Fortunately Kiko also released a gel effect glossy top coat that dries very fast and it's quite good. I've been using nothing else for the last 3 weeks actually so I guess I really like it.

Do I recommend it? Absolutely! And if you are lucky enough Kiko has a "buy 2 get 2 free" offer on everything nails. So you could get this nail polish, the gel effect top coat, maybe no. 108 Strawberry Milkshake nail polish, which is super pretty, too, and some 4th item of your choice!

Hi everyone!

You know that Kiko released some new nail polish shades for Summer 2019 in their Power Pro range, don't you? Today I am showing you no. 108 Strawberry Milkshake, a bubblegum pink creme. For this shade I can basically repeat the same things I said for no. 106 Lavender Field, the formula is exactly the same. Application is super easy, you get perfect coverage in two coats, finish is glossy but it dries slow. You can fix it with a good top coat, such as the gel effect one which is also new at Kiko, I'm loving it right now.

Benecos Peach Sorbet

Hi everyone!

New brand on the blog tonight! Actually, this nail polish is not even mine! My colleague lent it to me so I could test a new to me brand. I think it's my first time with a bio-vegan nail polish, too.

It's Benecos Peach Sorbet, a lovely peach shade on my skin tone, that looked coral on my colleague who has a more olive/darker skin tone. Application was really easy but I needed 3 coats for full coverage. Formula is quite watery and thin. I love how glossy it dries.

Unfortunately the quality is not so good in my opinion. It chipped both on me and my colleague the day after putting it on. And we used different base and top coats. Less than one day wear time? No, thanks. My opinion is probably unpopular but I think nail polishes lasted so much longer when there was more chemicals involved.

I think it looks gorgeous, but I am glad I didn't throw my money away for it. Plus the shade is not *that* great on me.

Metallic silver and teal flowers stamping

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you a subtle nail art that I created over Kiko Metal Fusion 04 Platinum Rain.
I stamped some fine flowers from BeautyBigBang XL-023 stamping plate* with a special stamping polish by Bornpretty.

My idea was the Kiko had to be the star, but I wanted to add something to it. I think I got it.

This Beautybigbang plate works great once again. Just look at how thin these flowers are. And they stamped perfectly (where you don't see the line it's because of the glare).

You know what else I love about Beautybigbang's stamping plates? The paper case is themed to the plate. This one is a flower themed plate: the case shows some yellow and white flowers. Part of me thinks the cases are a waste, same as the double cap in many nail polish bottles (such as this Kiko). The other part of me thinks the themed cases are lovely.
