Eggster 2.6 is now available in the App Store! This is a minor update and adds a few new eggs to the Spring board.

I'm also working on an update for Eggster for iPad (have to redraw all the art in the new retina resolution); that will be out soon.

Actually I submitted one last week, and it came through tonight... but all the new Fall art showed up in low-res. Argh! :( No idea how that happened; the art looked fine on the test build. I guess the build-for-app-store process was using some old cached data.

Anyway, I've cleaned caches and done a new build, and re-submitted it to Apple. I'm hoping it'll be available soon. Meanwhile I've removed the app until the fix is available. If you happened to get the update before I took it down, hang tight... the updated high-res version should show up soon.

Cryptoku is a fast-paced number game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Sudoku players will recognize the core game mechanic: each number can only appear once in the 3x3 grid. But unlike Sudoku, the numbers descend from the top of the screen, changing as they fall. Tap to capture a number, then drop it into the grid. As the game progresses, the numbers fall faster and more frequently.

As you solve levels and get further into the system, the challenges get harder:
* Some falling numbers count backwards ... or skip digits
* /tmp numbers fade away
* Rotating keys change out their solution with another number in the grid
* Viruses infect neighboring numbers
