Hipstamatic!

I'm so lazy to blog now a days. I'm addicted to hipstamatic plus instagram. I don't want to compare both of them because for me, both have it's own unique way of using it.

Anyway, I think I know why I don't have the motivation to blog. It is because of Hipsta. Yes, Hipstamatic. One of the top camera apps in the world! My iTunes store is the US store, this app is top in that store. I don't know about other places.

My 3 main camera apps. But I've been using hipstamatic everyday now. After taking pictures from there, I post it into my instagram.

I can change the films, the flash and the camera case or lenses. You can collect it and I think every month, there are new stuff that you can collect. It is cute and I don't go details on which lenses, films, flash or camera case I wanna use, I just shake it and capture it 2-3 times and I choose the best. Sometimes I get good shots, sometimes I don't.

Here are the examples of the pictures. I love taking pictures of the skies/clouds/trees and all.

Sometimes it is also depends on your luck whether you could get good pictures. Well, I'm lucky enough to shot this.

I use my normal camera app to capture this. No editing! I swear!

The birthday

Man Yang and I were born on the same day. We only met year 2007 and she's from Tawau, Sabah. We know each other from AFS. AFS brings people together. XD

Anyway, we've been close friends ever since. So we decided to celebrate our birthday together. Celebrated in Delicious, MidValley.

We didn't reserve a place actually. This is just on our table.
I admire my photography skills a lot lately. haha just kidding. I'll tell you more about the iPhone camera apps in the next post.

The food aren't as nice as Ben's.

After dinner, we went to Moo Cow for froyo.

My heart for froyo is still in Boston. =(

Brought my polaroid and make good use of it. I bought so many frames, I don't always have the chance to use it.

A great birthday spent together. =)

What's best is if everybody could be there celebrating it with us. =(

We promise to grow old together and stay in an old folks home together. It's funny to even think about it.

I got my MacBook air!

And I'm in love with it. But I can't do much with it yet. I'll just use it to watch my shows and bring to college.

Now I have both to play with. One to carry around and one to play at home. =D

Dad placed the order for me through apple. :) I'm getting a MacBook air instead of MacBook pro. Now, the comparison for MacBook pro and MacBook air is so close. No matter what, MacBook air is so much better than MacBook pro. So, I'm getting MacBook air. But as a student, MacBook pro is better. Dad was convincing me to get a MacBook air because it's light and I don't need the CD port (is that how you call it?). next year, a new MacBook pro is coming out. And guess what! It's gonna beat MacBook air. Pfft.

I'm getting it on Thursday. As what is stated on the picture. So from next year onwards, no more DVD/CD! Everything is through downloads and USB ports. Oh well, the world is changing. MacBook pro, you are going down! after the new MacBook pro comes out next Spring, it's gonna be similar with my MacBook air. But internal, it's gonna be better.

I'm gonna love my MacBook air from the moment I get it! It's gonna be fragile but I got a good cover for it. Tee Hee!

My Apple. My Mac.

I'm a mac user. I've been a mac user since 2008! My first ever laptop is Mac. It's been three years. I think it's time to get a new one.

Ok. Honestly, my dad ask me what do I want for my 21st birthday. He said if I don't get him an answer, he's gonna buy me a key necklace which I find it ridiculous because I know it signify "Freedom" but that doesn't mean it's time for me to move out from my house and live on my own. So what for?

Basically, I can't thought of anything. Seriously. I can't. I have a place to live in, clothes, food, security, love and I'm very much lucky to have a car to drive, an iPhone 4 that does everything (Thank you, Steve Jobs!) and a MacBook. So what else should I ask for?

Then, I look at my MacBook. My trackpad is broken. I have to always bring my mouse everywhere I go. I know it can be fix. All I need to do is unscrew things and clean it. I bought this MacBook from a bookstore in Boston. It's been 3 years already.

I bought my MacBook a cover. Yes, blue! It's an awesome blueish casing. Look at that blue apple. =)

It's dirty white. =( But I still love my Mac.

Anyway, I'm getting a new one.

The new Macbook Pro. No more white. I don't want anymore white laptops.

The top reasons why I'm getting a Mac pro is..

It's gonna be way faster than my previous Mac. The processor!

The retina is gonna be awesome!

And!

It's safe! Yes, I love Mac because of that.

Oh! I decided to get the 13inch because 15inch is big.

Can't wait! I think I'm gonna be using all the Apple technology until I grow old.

The skies are beautiful now a days!

It's so nice to see nice skies. I think last time, i didn't appreciate it because of the haze and all. But this week, the skies are beautiful! Don't know why. But I notice the sky quite a lot this week. Even Ryan, the 4 year old boy could say "Look! The sky is blue!" I was like what? Yeah. He said that. It's not everyday you can see clear skies in KL due to the haze and pollution in the city.

Look for yourself. I swear I didn't edit it.

Christine and Jian's 21st!

Celebrated Jian's and Christine's belated birthday together with Man Yang.

Christine was craving for Ginseng Chicken Soup. So we went Korean. But the food isn't as food as Johor's korean food, she said.

I really got to go Johor one day because she make it sound like there're plenty of good food.

After Korean food, we went for cake.

I drove to Baker Cottage. BAD DECISION. The cake, they offer us 2 slices for RM7. omg. taste super bad. ok. not super. But it's bad. =/

After all that crappy cake, of course, MONOPOLY DEAL! =)

So, who's turning 21 next?

My nose.

So, I went to a nose specialist today at the Prince Court Hospital. The place is mind blowing! It's gorgeous!

After consulting a doctor and paying almost RM400! The pharmacist gave me, my meds to finish up in a month. If I'm not cured by the 29th of October, I'll need to get ready for a minor (YES, MINOR!) surgery. Thank god, it's minor.

Anyway, my doctor said only 50% of his patients are cured by the meds. But yeah, after 1 month, I'll know whether I'm doing the surgery or not. I'm scared ok. I'm gonna pray everyday so that I will be in the 50% of those people who were cured by this meds.

One of them, the nasonex is a spray. Where i spray in my nose. And the boxes are the pills.

Volkswagen. Das Auto Show 2011

Invited to the Volkswagen Das Auto Show 2011 at Bukit Jalil.

OMG. I love how they did the show. It was mind blowing!

So, after registering, we were all in the waiting room waiting for the show to start.

In the waiting room, they served us refreshments, deserts and other kind of foods.

Guess what!

FREE MACAROONS! I keep taking it lor. No, not desperate kind. But only when they serve us, and I take it.

After the long wait at the waiting room.

We finally get to go into the show room. Well, more like a presentation room.

When I enter the room, I feel like I'm at planetarium looking at the stars. Instead of stars, the have the Volkswagen's logo.

After the talk, they start presenting the car. It's like a fashion show. Instead of a model walking 360 degrees. Instead car driving around us 360 degrees! Mind blowing or not?!

Penang!

Finally blogging about this.

We literally do food marathon while we were there.

Basically, once we arrived Penang, Jon and his friend, Chung Keat picked us up to go eat seafood. Didn't take picture of that. =( #regret

Things in Penang is quite cheap! Actually, it's really cheap, I would say.

Anyway, after realizing it, we finally start taking pictures.

6 of us finished up everything.

Then we went to Gurney drive to eat Burger Alan. Half way there, we were stuck in the traffic. So, Man Yang, Christine and I decided to walk to the burger stand while the guys drive there.

Christine bought bubbles! for RM1.50. If I'm not wrong.

After burger, we take pictures together. No burger picture though.

3 half Germans 1 pure German and 1 half American but 4 pure Malaysian. =/ Well, they all went to Germany except me. Matthias is from Germany la. So no difference. I'm not saying it right laaa.

Claypot rice! My first time eating this lor. I don't usually claypot rice because there are bones in their chicken. But this is really good. No bones also. =)

After that, we went for cendol!

Jon then drove us to the mall and he went back to his house to shower. That's my ribbon hair clip. =D

Jon is an Arsenal fan. So after how Arsenal lost.. I was thinking about doing him a sand art.

After laughing at Arsenal, we went to eat this famous char kuey teow!

This uncle uses charcoal to cook! damn cool. damn delicious.

We waited for an hour just for this small plate! It's kind of worth it la.

For dinner, we went out with Jon's family.

After dinner, we went a place. I can't remember what is the area name. But it's near the harbor. Damn nice! After that place, Hard Rock!

Suppose to meet Mayuri there. But we were like what. 2-3 hours late. We were there after 12. We were kicked out after that.

Next day, we went to eat prawn noodle. After noodle, we went to eat durian ice kacang.

Sailing

I miss sailing. I really really do.

I just want to get a sail boat and sail down Charles River again.

I learnt sailing at the Basin Breeze, Boston Community Boating Inc. OMG.

Stunning view plus, I just love everything about it.

Before getting my sailing license, I have to pass my kayak test first.
Well, I never really go for the next level due to the limited time. So, I didn't really know how to sail in a bigger boat. I can only sail a small boat that fits in up to 5 people.

It's just so beautiful to sail at Charles River.

I miss it so much! Yes, I sail. and I love sailing.
When will I sail again? =(

Jonathan taught me how to play this game.

It's so addicting. We play this game from the moment we found a table right in front of us. We can play till cow come home!

It's so much easier to play instead rolling the dice and collecting property plus rent!
Monopoly Deal is super easy. All you need is 3 different properties and you WIN!

Simple!

It's easy to bring it everywhere! I saw people playing everywhere. So, I guess it's pretty addicting to everybody.

Well...

Hanged out with them. plus Mayuri and Warren. But didn't take picture together.

After that, I went to Penang!

Met up with Jonathan, his family and also his friend.
What's awful was when we were there, Arsenal was playing Manchester United. And Arsenal lost to Manchester United! The score was

8-2!!!

Not 4-2 but 8-2!

Other than that, we play MONOPOLY DEAL (freaking additive) and went for food marathon. I don't have much pictures with me. Most of them is with Christine, so, I'm gonna wait.
