With Valentine's Day a little less than a week away, it's time to get in the mood for love -- Lily Bee love! This month our team brings you layouts and projects inspired by all that makes our hearts go thumpitty-thump.

We're also giving you even more reasons to add Lily Bee to your Love List, including:

* the chance to profess your love for all things Lily Bee on a regular basis as a member of the design team,

* a fun new contest (check back next week for more details), and...

* the soon-to-be-shipping Lovely and Hello Sunshine collections!

2 projects each month. we'll send you plenty of our product to work with.

Happy Friday. Today is the day we feature Lily Bee projects we find in galleries. We have another great week of faves to share with you, today.

Wendy Kwok shared this lovely card in our gallery. I love the butterfly and think it's the perfect card for Valentine's Day.

Willea shared this stunning layout. I love the masking and all the amazing little details, like paper distressing, the layering and the random stitching.

Deb Harter shared this adorable layout and it caught my eye, right away. I love the photos of her beautiful daughter in ponytails. All the little heart accents are perfect with our Audrey collection.

A Lovely Bride

I love this picture of my Mom getting ready for her wedding. She looks so happy and you can see in her eyes the excitement and joy she is feeling. She always told me that her big dream in life was to be married and have children. I have always wondered what she really wanted. Did she want to dance, sing, have a career? She has never admitted anything different, but I often wonder.

This layout uses the gorgeous Lovely Collection and our wonderful tulle flowers.

My journaling says:
I have often wondered what you dreamed of being when you were young. Do you have any regrets? Would you go back and change anything? I have always assumed that the big dream was to be married and raise children because you told me so, but still, I wonder.

I love this fun and whimsical layout by Jeja. I love the shape, the stitching, the paper tearing and the rub-on use. It's just so beautfiul!

This layout by Jana Eubank is just stunning! There are so many layers and so much detail, it's inspiring to look at.

Amy Coose made this adorable and fun layout. I "heart* the heart banner and all the fun details. Those pictures are so fun, they make me smile.

Friends at CHA

So I have LOVED meeting such wonderful girls at CHA. First Nicole Harper-LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Seriously besides being amazingly talented shes darling! April from Studio Calico-LOVE her too. Such a sweet gal and LOVE her accent. Our booths were right across from each other.

Ana, gosh I've known Ana since her Scrapbook Answers days. She's crazy and fun!

And Nikki Sivils-met her for the first time and we ended up chatting for at least an hour. So great to meet other manufacturers who are so nice!

I know everyone is waiting to see more CHA pictures but i thought i would jump on and share some more of the projects i did fro the show using the "Hello Sunshine" line.

Here is a fun one showcasing the yellow's and blues - I LOVE these colors together.

I think that yellow dot paper has to be my favorite. It's so bright and happy! So keep checking back and i'm sure Kristen will have some more fun pictures to share!! Have a great day!

This Lily Bee release is my favorite, so far! The colors are so bright and cheery and were such a joy to work with. I have two boys and both lines work perfectly for them. Of course, they are both perfect for girls. In fact, they are so versatile I can see them used for so many things; Valentine's Day, Easter, Every Day Moments, Summer time, Days at the lake, and on and on.

This time of year, with CHA just around the corner, there's always a lot of anticipation and excitement surrounding the release of new product lines. Over the past week, as I've been playing with some of those products, I have moved past excitement to giddiness. I am in love, love, paper love with Lily Bee's new lines, "Hello Sunshine" and "Lovely." Here's the proof:

Among the reasons why these lines are so incredible is that they work with every photo and every occasion, and offer options for pages that are feminine, masculine, or neutral, subdued or playful, and pretty or silly, which is not something one can say about many lines. I know you'll love them, too!

Must Have Scrapbook Supply?: patterned paper. I love saving every little bit and arranging them on the pages I create. I think it would be really difficult to do a page without *any* pattern!

When & why did you start scrapbooking?
In the beginning, it was just me, the scotch tape, and the college ruled paper. When I developed the disposable cameras that I took on trips, I wanted to put the photos together with the memorabilia. Then, in highschool, I was walking down the paper crafts aisle at Walmart and saw one of those scrapbooking kits. I think I had just cashed a paycheck or something, because I thought "Eh, why not?" And threw the kit into my cart. I think I spent the entire next two weeks scrapbooking and giving my paychecks to the local scrapbooking shop that I had just discovered. It was awesome. I think I was addicted because I didn't have any other creative outlets that were so practical and fulfilling. And that's why I'm still doing it.

Guilty Pleasures: Oh my. Far too many to list! The big ones would have to be sugar and wine. I'm hopelessly addicted to sugar, and while I'm not addicted to wine, I do enjoy it responsibly! :)

Two things you want very badly at this moment: I would love to be living in Chicago and going out with my friends. Although realistically, I would settle for Grandma's peanut butter fudge which is hiding in the fridge.

3 items that are in your purse: Honestly, there are *only* three items in my purse. My wallet, my cell phone, and my lipstick. And most of the time, they're in my coat pocket because I have a bad habit of laying down my purse and leaving it there.

Favorite Scrapbook Technique/ or Style: I love, love, LOVE stitching! When I finish a page and it doesn't have stitching, something just seems to be missing. It's such an easy way to add texture, interest, and even a graphic punch.

When do you feel most creative? I'm never really the one to say "Hey, I want to scrapbook *right* now!" Usually I have deadlines or such that lure me to my craft table. And after I get out all of my supplies, I finally begin to be inspired! And theeeeeen... I can't be stopped.

Do you snack while you scrapbook? I always put on a pot of coffee while I'm getting ready, but I usually only take about two sips. I forget about everything else and get lost in the piles of paper and letter stickers that surround me! ha!

Do you have a scrapbook confession? I don't have a photo printer at home, so I run to the printer to get photos done. Sometimes... I get reeeally lazy and make scrapbook pages without pictures, and then add them later! And then other times (rare, rare times)... I never even add the pictures. I'm a kook. But sometimes it's all about the paper, and I'm okay with that! It's my creative outlet.

Jobs you've had? My first job (the one that paid for my first scrapbooking supplies) was at Chick-fil-A. I moved up in the world to a waitressing job, which drove me so crazy that I actually accepted a nanny position to two children I had never met. People called me crazy. But it turned out that the kids were angels, and I stayed with them for five years. I just left the family last week, actually, to accept an internship working at Joann Fabrics & Crafts' headquarters in Hudson, Ohio, where I will be working as a store planner. I graduate with a degree in interior design this summer, so who knows what's in store! We're thinking, maybe something in Chicago...

Favorite TV Shows? Most of the time I turn on the t.v. and flip directly to Turner Classic Movies. I'm obsessed with Old Movies. Totally obsessed. I think it drives my husband crazy, but he's too nice to say anything about it!

What are you listening to right now? I have a mix in the CD player right now, and the song that's on is by Fleet Foxes. They are so mellow, sometimes I think I might melt onto the table.

Yvonne Yam created this sweet, sweet layout. I'm really partial to the photo and the photo placement. I love the older feel to it. I love how she used our flowers, too.

i can't believe another year has flown by. what are your resolutions or goals for the coming year?

take a look at this gorgeous layout from our dt member jill sprott. i love how she mixed the lines here, the small photos and the stamping. here is what jill had to say about this: I decided to expand on my hopes to establish more of a balance in my life. The inspiration for the journaling comes from "The Prayer of Saint Francis," which is all about balance/counterbalance. My first resolution actually comes directly from the prayer, and then I continued with the same structure. In looking forward, I also looked back, pulling together some of my favorite Lilybee papers from the past year. I love how papers from all four lines -- Audrey, Vintage Poppy, French Couture, and Three Little Birds -- coordinate so well with each other. It's been a great year for Lilybee, and I'm excited to see what 2010 holds!

this year hasn't been a great one for me, but i am hopeful that 2010 will bring better things for me and my family. i have promised myself that i will not lose hope, no matter what.
