If I bring something tarheel blue, and parents are Duke fans – I am in trouble. If I bring something red, and parents are NOT Wolfpack fans – I am in trouble. So, I learned to ask before our session. Or if we get to meet for a maternity session, I get my answers then. This time I would have been way off with my guesses – Cleveland Browns, baby! icon smile baby legs
Good thing I photographed this beautiful couple’s maternity session , and about 72hours later Max entered this world. He was hands down the easiest baby to date. And from what I can tell he takes it after his dad – just relaxed and not worried about a thing. I hear he still hasn’t changed. Way to go, little man!

To be honest, at first I was not sure I was understanding those questions correctly. Do they want me to do two sessions in one – full newborn session and full 2-3-4year old session? Do they want just a snap of a newborn, and concentrate on a big brother/sister? Turns out, all they wanted was a few captures of siblings together as well as a family shot. My answer to all those questions is YES YES YES. I absolutely enjoy watching new family dynamics, and seeing tender looks and touches from older brothers/sisters. This is your new bigger family, and while we concentrate on preserving memories about those precious little bits and pieces of the new baby, everyone will be included in a shot or two during a newborn session – mom, dad, siblings, maybe even grandma from Texas icon smile new girl

And on that note, I hope everyone is ready for a spring break – it seems almost mandatory to head for a first beach trip of the year.
