Honeymoon: Suan Phueng Thailand

We went for our honeymoon the next day after our wedding day. We did not go to Suan Phueng straight. we were at Hua Hin. How did i find out about this place call Suan Phueng? This place might not be famous for foreign tourist. I was reading someone blog a few months before our wedding day, then i came across a blog about Suan Phueng. i "googled" it and found this place. While how did we get up here from Hua Hin? We were in Hua Hin for a night, and we took bus from Hua Hin to Ratchaburi district. From Ratchaburi we took a private van which cost us 800bath, all the way to our resort. Along the way up to the place, it was like going up the hill. We were there during the Thai's king birthday so there were a lot of local thai there.

I booked the villa, yes, the whole villa for us from Agoda. Each villa has different concept. we booked 2 different villas.How we love the bathtub....like a mini swimming pool in the room. And the concept for the toilet is no door, just a lace curtain. Is definitely a place for couple. One night cost us RM300 which we think that is so cheap for a price for a villa. we have rooftop too and at night we had dinner at the rooftop. The weather is very cool, like Cameron Highland.

we rented a bike for 2 days and went around the place. while, this place is more for relaxing. you can find other resort offer different concepts of villa. we even went in to the frinston concept villa.. that can cost up to rm1000 per night for 8 people. i really wanted to go to the vintage farm at Suen phueng. the ticket is rm4, so cheap and the place is big. I'm too excited to play with the sheep.

next stop, we went to the candle shops. is not like any normal candle shops. is like the whole street has candles. and everything made from wax.

after Suen Pheung, we went to Bangkok, of course for my shopping trip. we were in Bangkok for 5 days. The manager sent us to the little bus stop and we took the mini van to Bangkok. Honeymoon (Butterworth > Hua Hin > Suan Phueng > Bangkok). we flew to Hatyai from Bangkok and took a train back to our hometown. Lots of pictures that we took, but not in the mood to upload everything. Our first year anniversary is coming soon, and we are going to Bangkok for 5 days. I just love Bangkok and it will be my fourth time to Bangkok. We want to relax and just to spend time with each other. many people asked the usual question, "so when is baby coming"? ee, next year only plan. i want to manja manja with my hubby first. God will provide...

Been married for almost 2 months now..Phew,non stop of housework and cooking. Love cooking now. Just love it. So everyday i will try new recipe to cook. If i do not know, just ask people. Friends, mom and internet (youtube)....Marriage is changing me, a lot. I did not see myself (last year) to cook and do housework at our own home, and now, Tadaa, im here doing house work plus cooking and enjoying it.. That is a big change for me. Even my hubby couldn't believe that i can actually cook. And he loves my cooking (so far) and i want to improve myself in Malay and Indian dishes as well. So, i have to go and cook now...

Mr And Mrs Charles

Finally, we are husband and wife, after almost 4 years of courtship. We just moved into our new place, still decorating, cleaning the house. Lotsa house work for me to do. But, hey, i have to do what..... Work just started after hibernating for 7 weeks, huah, yes, that long.. ANd today us my second day at work. Work is good, just more admin work to do now rather than teaching. NEw school term, new planning, new strategies, everything is new. And really can't wait for CNY and my photos from my photographer. Will blog one by one when i have the time. And now, back to work and learn cooking tips...

Becoming Mrs Charles

I'm going to leave my singlehood, or i left it already?? yes, i am and i am now officially Mrs Charles. Days before yesterday, i was thinking, what am i going to miss after becoming Mrs Charles.. well probably i can't have more trips with my girls and i can't go our station anytime i want??? I just can't leave the house, telling my husband " Honey, tomorrow i'm going to KL for 5 days. Shopping trip and meeting up with my girls, ok". Before this, i always do that. But now it will be telling him at least a month ahead, so that we can organize things together, like, his meals, laundry and house. Gosh, not much freedom like i used to be...

It is going to be another phrase that i need to learn. learn to live with another person, eat with the other person and plan things with the other person. Is no longer, what i think.. It will be " what you think and what we think.... ANd is not going to be me. me, me and me..Is going to be us, us, us and us......

So yesterday, we had a small registration ceremony at FGA church attended by immediate family members and close friends. My bride maid, mei yoke came too.. I was so excited that she came all the way from Penang to attend the ceremony.. well, it was only 15 people there...

The ceremony started at 3pm and ended by 4pm. we had a light refreshment and celebrated my hubby's birthday too... 2 in 1... and someone sponsored the food, except the cake which i bought for him and everybody complimented that the cake is delicious.. Ohhh, thanks...but i did not bake it...

At night, we went for dinner together at SSL traders...Emm, we were asking each other how we felt as now we are officially husband and wife....errrhhh, dunno how to describe... Macam biasa saja...but, of course something more.. Anyway, we can't wait for our actual day to come, den honeymoon, den moving in together......

Weekend Getaway to Grand Lexis, Port dickson

Last weekend, we had another gathering with the bridemaids... we went to Grand Lexis, Port Dickson where they organized a hen's trip for me before i'm taken by someone... This trip was fully paid by them, including the room with private pool, food and transport. Thanks dear......

we enjoyed this trip so much. After checking out we went to Nilai to visit yoke's mom and celebrated her birthday there.. we sent pei to airport and went back to KL. Pei did not miss her flight this time. She flew all the way from Singapore for 2 days 1 night just for my hen's trip.. Thanks dear and will see all of them again on 30 November, a day before my big day...

My Malaysia's Day Holiday

we had our VBS camp with the children for 3 days straight. we had fun but were very tired, of course... Well, the last VBS was 2 years ago. I was hoping that the date for the camp will not be postponed as i will be busy preparing for my wedding this coming December....

Miss out so much in my blog..hardly want to write but love to read others blogs. So fun. So nice to see how the put the words and pictures together. Loving it so much....

So registration is next month, hens night next month in PD... I do not know what the girls have planned for me, so i just wait....

So far 30 friends confirmed coming, that's is not including church friends.. Form 5, form 6 and Uni friends only.. So excited and more to come as i have not sent the invitation to my church friends yet and family members... Invitation cards also haven't printed out..Still in my netbook and hopefully by this month, keeping my fingers cross... I did my own card and printing it on my own as well.. NEed to check out the cards as well... future MIL told me that by early next month, must have the cards as she wants to go KL and Taiping to pass to relatives.. How nice and sweet of her... Apparently is the Indian culture to pass the wedding invitation to relatives by hand and not by post.. Something new that i learn today... For my side, just post...easy and some i just sent through FB, even better.. anyway, we just need to learn about other people culture as im getting married to Indian..Yeah...And my registration, im going to wear saree (given by my MIL). And booked a photographer, rm100 per hour, coz i just need 1 hour.....

anyway, that's all..House still on the way... Can't wait for honeymoon....

A few days to go before July comes. Sob sob. So fast. Anyway, today we had a farewell party for a teacher in my school who got her transfer to Air tawar. So nice and yet sad that she is leaving us. She is such a caring and friendly person to be with.

Trip to Penang tomorrow for a relaxing time with hubby. Got a free room at Hydro Hotel and going to spend some time relaxing the mind and do some thinking at the hotel.

Home internet still down.. sigh....

Big day still have 5 months away. Excited and yet doing nothing for the house yet.

Weekend Finally

Phew. i survived for a week here. After 2 weeks of break, i feel so lazy to go back to work. Start my engine, teach, and teach and mark type and present. So much of work, and don't forget that our choir presentation for district level is this coming Thursday and i haven't got my attire back, a bit nervous. I hope everything is ok and i need to check with my tailor soon. Perhaps should give her a call today and see what's happening over there.

So far, wedding preps are fine and everything under control. My bridesmaid started their work and help me to plan more stuff for my big day. I told them, let's have fun, and free and easy wedding day. Just want to take lotsa photos with friends and relatives. And we are free to have whatever we like on our wedding day without questions from both side parents... Love them... Give us the freedom to do instead of following the laws and all... My photographer is good too. will share more about her after my wedding day. Honeymoon plan is still on the way. we dont have much time to check around. But with our experience and skills, it should be no problem at all. Sri Lanka, here we come.

Pre wedding shoot done and i got a few pictures from my photographer. She is good too. I will check the edited pictures and send back to her if they need anymore touch up.. Can't wait to see the rest.. And new toy in the house, hubby bought the new ipad for us. Ok, is my new ipad or apple stuff in my home. Im still new with the new toy but i have already enjoying playing with it...

I still have a few days to go before i go back to work. feel so lazy at the moment to go back, who does not right??? I wake up at 9am or after, almost everyday. Just can't imagine how am i going to get used to it when i go back to work. So. i just finished reading my 2nd novel which i bought at Bookxcess during my trip to melacca and KL. i bought 10 books from there to be exact. Nice books at 9.90 per novel. I love reading all those chic lit books and i hate to pay retail price. Bookxcess is the place for me after Popular bookfair, i would say that it is even cheaper to get from Bookxcess. and now im a member there for 3 years. FOC if i purchase rm100 and above which i did.

I started back my exercise during the holidays. went with Charles. need someone to motivate me. been doing it for 3 days and will continue until i go back to work. we are going to Cameron too, perhaps after school holidays to avoid the crowd. Can't wait actually because Cameron is our place to relaz. we always go there for retreat. Wedding prep, so far everything is good. Still planning with the girls where to go for my hens night...

Anyway, enjoy your work and holidays...need to read my novel now.. and tomorrow, will lepak with my best friend, Jessica in taiping before she goes back to KL. will sure visit her more often in KL before i become someone's wife.....

Melacca Trip

Last weekend, i went to Melacca with my girlfriends to Melacca. Well, it was a very hot day, like super hot, even worse than Taiping. we left KL at 10am, had McD breakfast in the car and reached Melacca at 11 plus, and it was jam as we entered the toll in Melacca. we almost miss the turning into Melacca because we were happily enjoying ourselves in the car. Pei came from singapore, so we had to pick her up from the bus station. Once we reached, we had a simple meal at the road side. Then we checked into Hong Hotel, which is a walking distance from Jonker Street. RM90 per night, small but clean and cozy. we dont mind to come back to this hotel anyway. so the owner was very friendly, recommended us to a lot of places to eat. then we went to the bus station to pick up our girl, pei.

the famous chicken ball rice. recommended by the local, which shop to go and bla bla bla..we had to line up before we can enter. waited for bot 20 minutes.....

Went to Donald and Lily. one of the famous place to eat too. Laksa is famous here but when we were there, almost everything finished. so we had rojak and cendol.....

we had fun. at night, the girls tried out the brides maid dresses which i bought for them. Thank God, it fits them so well. and we celebrated chin's bday in the hotel room.. yeah, we planned to go out, but after shower, we just feel so lazy and wanted to stay in...we chit chat till wee hours and had a long day on the next day.....we went to Nilai too, visited Yoke's mom.......we should have this trip more often.....

Counting the days now. 4 days to go before my 2 weeks break from work. And this time, i ain't going oversea because of the wedding and our new home. Have to cancelled our trip to Medan in June.So since i can't go oversea, i'm going to Melacca this coming saturday. After work on Friday, i'm taking train to KL. Then, taking LRT to Kelana Jaya and my girls will be picking me up from there. Our trip will be on Saturday and i really can't wait. After Melacca i will be staying in KL for a few days to do my hair and some mini shopping spree with my buddy, Jessica and we are going back to taiping together.

What are we going to do in Melacca??? Makan lah, what else right??? Hopefully can try all the local food such as chicken rice ball, cendol, satay celup and not forget visiting Jonker Street at night. Have not plan what to buy in Melacca but i plan not to spend so much and want to save more.

I have finished marking all my papers except for Form 1 class, thank God that i have one Form 1 class only which the exam will start tomorrow. I plan to finish marking everything before Friday and i can go off for my holidays happily...yeeeee....

I'm not going to JB since dear is going on this SAturday... Sigh, wish that i can follow him there..anyway enjoy life......

Btw, we had a fun trip to Zoo Taiping yesterday with Sunday School Children.....

Pre Wedding Done

Last Monday, we went for our pre wedding shoot in taiping. We signed up with SUB Beauty House in Taiping. Love them so much. Very flexible and fun to work with. So i went for my make up and hair do at 8am and by 9am we started our shoot. We went to Kuala Sepetang Mangrove Park. Went on the boat, jetty, chalet and the walking path. Love the scenery. Even the boatmen were very helpful. They recommended us to go inside to take. Very excited. so i had 2 changes there, there is a toilet, clean and dry. After 2 changes, i change to another gown and went to the charcoal factory at Matang. The place is a bit dirty due to the charcoal but the pictures turn out nice with the woods.

went back to the shop for lunch and continued with our photo shooting near the beauty house wearing the chinese traditional Kuah. After that, i change to another gown and went to my own church to take photo. I had 3 changes there and last location was Lake Garden. By the time we were there it was around 5pm and there were many people jogging there. Malu lah... Anyway, after that we went back to the shop and took with another gown and lastly our casual wear. So total, i had 8 changes.

we finished everything at almost 7pm and man, we were so tired but happy and had fun during the shooting.we choosed the photos on the spot and i was given 40 poses for my album. After choosing for almost an hour, i told them that i have to come back tomorrow because i can't look at the screen anymore.

when we came back the next day, we took 2 hours to reselect the photos. We decided to take 90 poses for the album, and select 2 for the frame. We have to choose the bag and album too which my hubby asked me to do, because he said, he is ok with anything. But for the photos, we selected all of them by ourselves and of course with the help of the photographer too. Asked her opinion and so on. She even edited a few for me to see first and i love them.

overall, we enjoy the photoshooting, though it was a bit tiring for us. My hubby even said that, let's do this every year on our anniversary.. I love to hear that. MAybe we will look for freelance photographer to help us next year. I can't wait for the photos though is still a long way to our actual day. Anyway, next week we will be doing some shopping for our new home. The grill has to be booked and also the bedroom furniture. We are going to paint our bedroom together. Ain't it nice to have a partner to do everything with you??? I mean they want to do it with us... I'm counting my blessing here. Thank you Lord for blessing me with a good and faithful husband, partner and best friend.

Buying and making

Is another Friday today and it reminds me that our wedding is just 7 months to go, yah, still a long way. Anyway, many people told us that we have a long time to prepare for the wedding, and for us, there is nothing much to prepare since we are doing a simple ceremony and keeping with our wedding budget. So, what have i done so far. Actual day photographer checked, pre wedding shooting checked, brides maid checked, and venue checked. And yesterday, i just finished designing our wedding invitation card. A very simple card, no decoration or what so ever. Just a one page small card with wordings of course and i decided to print it using my own printer. The cost for the 100 cards??? Less than RM50 including the envelopes. Since we only plan to have 200 guests for the wedding, and we know that people usually don't keep the wedding cards, so we decided to cut cost. And now, i'm looking for a nice light gold A4 thick card to print the invitation.

and for the guest lists, i didn't know that it will give me such a big head ache. From 140 guests my side, i reduced to 120 and today 110 guests and i'm still deciding which 10 guests to reduce again. we can't afford to have too many people, so this is within our budget...

and tomorrow, i'm going to buy my wedding heel for pre wedding photo shooting and hopefully can find something within my budget as well. And for Bersih tomorrow, i'm not joining.....

Working on Saturday

There are a few reasons why i hate to work on Saturday. Is not like i hate Saturday, but i thought weekend is suppose to be the days where we get rest, eat and sleep more. So, today i have to work because we are replacing the extra holiday for Hari Raya Haji, Still a long way to go, but we are asked to replace it now, like today. So why i hate to work on Saturday??

1) Is suppose to be the day for me to sleep and wake up at 9am. I wake up at 6am everyday, drive for 40 minutes before i reach school and reach home at 330pm to 4pm sometimes. So, come on, give me a break after 5 days or teaching and screaming at school.

2) Is the day for me to have breakfast with my parents. Ohh, how i love my mom's breakfast every morning if i'm around. She will cook different types of dishes every day. Love the noodles the most and not forget the teh ais she made. Fabulous. I know i will miss her breakfast when i move out in the next few months and have to prepare my own breakfast for myself and hubby.

3) Is the day for me to online the whole day. Hey, i don't have a lot of chance ok.

4) Is the day for me to watch Astro in the morning. I missed out a lot of the show while working, so Saturday is the day for me to replace it back.

5) Is the day for me to have MY OWN TIME. Hubby is working on Saturday, so it is a day for me to have my own time and do whatever that i want. On Sunday, i will be with him, then, i go to church, then i teach at Sunday School and whole day gone. So Saturday is the day where i prepare my worship songs, Sunday School teaching materials, cleaning up my room and read some marriage course book and my favourite novels.

So, do you like to work on Saturday???

Finally, the brides maid dresses arrived at 4 different locations. Great, and i hope they will like it though some only will see it next month, during our girls' trip. Is going to be a bonding time for the girls, as we need to cheer up each other, gossiping, shopping, taking photo and eat a lot of stuff.....Hey, who says that we don't need friend after married??? I still going out with them after my wedding, of course, asking my hubby's permission first, and he will not say no, because he has his own trip with his guys as well. so fair.

Item 2: Next week going for 3 days course in Setiawan. Hope i will not be bored to death.

Item 3: Tomorrow i'm working, yes, school day. So sad...

Item 4: Going for my shoes shopping for my up coming pre wedding photo shooting..

I came across this online shopping website in Facebook. U know the one pop out. so usually i will not pay attention to all these advertisements but i clicked on this one. Guess what...I love the website and the stuff they are offering. A lot of brands where you can find in Bangsar and around KL. So Christy Ng 's shoes line is one of favourite. I checked out the dresses and found a lot that i like. so instead of buying a few dresses at one time, i decided to try out one first. So i bought this multiple wrap dress in green colour and received it 4 days after purchasing. rm20 off for first time and the dress cost me rm35 plus free shipping... so good deal...Maybe you wanna try to buy something from Zalora. One of my brides maid actually started to purchase something from the same website.

And last Saturday, i bought 4 dresses from the same website for my brides maid, as their dresses on my wedding day. I bought all until the dress sold out. So i got rm80 discount for the 4 dresses. Lucky me. So now, they will be wearing a long blue dress. I do not have the picture here as the web site removed the picture once the dress sold out. There are a lot of nice dresses there and thinking to buy more for honeymoon and also daily wear to work. anyway, here is the 1st dress that i bought and is in striking green, not this green. This is a multi way tie dress where you can tie the dress in more than 15 styles. I watched You Tube just to learn and planning to wear this dress on our girls' trip to Melacca next month. So, can't wait. My hubby even said: Why the dress so heavy one? Because the quality of the dress is good....

Let it rain

Extra holiday for today. The King's installation. How nice to have Sultan and King in the country and get public holiday each time during their Big Day. I just came back from Juru this morning coz we spent a night at his sister's place. Yah, is a public holiday and i woke up at 6am, like i used to wake up on working days. And went back to sleep at home till 10am. That's me. Anyway, we are hoping that it will rain today, the best is heavy rain. we need to go back to the house to check if there is any leaking on the roof. we have 2 years before we submit any error of the house to the management. how nice, since wedding still have 7 months away, we plan to take things slow. slowly to decorate the house and planning the wedding. I always remind myself that, wedding is just happened for a day, but marriage is for life time..so basically, i do not know what to plan for a day event since is just going to be ceremony, right??????

Regarding my pre wedding photo shooting, i have booked the date with my photographer. I haven't bought my wedding heel. that is something i need to be done during one of this days. The pre wedding will be in Taiping, my home town and i have checked out a few locations for the photo shooting. I hope everything will turn out nice since the photographer is very flexible. I can bring my own clothes as well and they will provide me 7 gowns.

So, i gotta go for my lunch now..........

Something Forgotten......

In class, i'm not used to bring my handbag in. I like to leave my bag, phone and notebook at the staffroom. Is easier for me. ANd thank God, nothing happened so far. God is protecting whatever that is belonging to me. So this was what happened just now. I brought my handbag in the class and after class, i just left the class without my handbag. I did not realize that too, until my students, a group of them came down with my handbag.." Cikgu tertinggal handbag di kelas". Heee...thanks guys....Though they are my Form 5 last class students, they behave like a 1st class students. Honest. That's what i always teach them. Even you are poor, it doesn't matter, but you must be honest and not steal. Then, people will respect you. Guess, they learnt the lesson.

weekend was horrible for me. Doing nothing. Dear was busy with his business and i was left at home, doing nothing...Anyway, this weekend will be "cheng beng' week and i'm going to meet my relatives again.. Yippy..... ANd something to make me smile is i just bought a coupon from Groupon for hair rebonding at KLCC.. My hair seriously need treatment and i think rebonding is the best for my hair at the moment. RM98 for rebonding using Shisheido and Loreal products, cut, wash and blow. Is even cheaper than Taiping. Going to rebond it on May, during the holidays.

Some changes in wedding plan.. Not the date, but the venue for ceremony. can't reveal until everything is confirmed. Something that we thought about to save cost for the wedding. We need more cash for our 10 days honeymoon in Sri Lanka which we are more excited about.. till then.....

My 28th Birthday

Yesterday was my big day. yah like going to 30 soon... excited??? No,not at all. How i wish that i can always be 18 years old. So like my past few birthdays, i will go for trips during my birthday and this year i could not go because i just came back from Indonesia. And yes, the Indonesia trip is actually my birthday trip. So is also a birthday gift to me.

So like yesterday, on my birthday... Still happening. I woke up, took my shower and went to church as usual. After church i went back to rest for a while until dear came back and saw me sleeping. how tired. then, he said let's go Penang. I did not know tat he actually had planned all these. We went to Queensbay mall where he had book some special treatment for me and him. So i choosed the cellulite and slimming oil massage and he choosed the abs slimming treatment... So sounds like slimming programme for me. Actaully is just for a day, like 2 hours????

so he took me to Slimming Sanctuary. we started by taking our weight and bmi and fats and muscles. Gosh, i'm not overweight but i'm over fat. meaning, i'm surrounded by fats. i need to build 7kg of muscles and loose 6kg of fats. this is going to be difficult leh.. But my BMI is only 20. You know, since i moved back to Taiping, rarely exercise and there comes the fats into my body. I have to start exercising from today onwards and build more muscles. I also do not have enough water in my body. So, i need to drink more liquid. So back to the slimming massage, i choosed this coz i thought that i can relax and sleep for a while during the massage. Hey no. it was a bit painful coz she was massaging all the cellulite on my body and also the muscles. Is a different type of massage, not like the baliness massage. The person who massage me comes from bali btw...Anyway, what i love about the massage is the oil. Love it...

After massage we went to shop and walk around the mall to look for my wedding heel. but did not buy it coz i want to find at other places... So next was dinner time. He brought me to Hotel Royal for dinner. we were the only customer there during the dinner time. so i ordered fish and chips and mushroom soup. Yummy but i did not finish it. left some...waste food..... then when we wanted to go home, he said wait, dessert time...hah???? i dowan leh....full ready.....he said sit for a while lah....ok....den the staff brought a birthday cake to our table...wow, with my name on it..then only i knew that he had pre booked all these for me....So sweet of him....after that we left the hotel and went back to Taiping.....

so my birthday present???? He bought me a ring....Sent to resize......

730am-230pm: Working hours + lunch+ meeting+ resting time
330pm: Reach home
340pm-5pm: Nap time
5pm: Dinner
7pm-10pm: Watch tv, reading, chit chat, spend time with family and hubby
11pm-12 midnight: Bed time till morning...

In the next 3 months after moving in the new house:
6am: Alarm rings
630am: Leave home to work
720am: Reach work place
730-230pm: Working hours
330pm: Reach home + tea time
4pm: Nap time
5pm: Prepare dinner
6pm: House chores
730pm: Dinner with hubby
8pm: wash up
830pm: Free time
10pm: Sleeping time

Gosh!!!! My lifestyle gonna change........
