I’m excited to share this beautiful wedding invitation collection I created for Jenna and Zac last summer. Sage green, soft charcoal grey on a smooth white card stock creates a beautiful, summer palette. I love the addition of the shaped card with the couple’s name and wedding date – tied with baker’s twine around the invitation set. The damask pattern of the envelope liner ties beautifully with the scrolled design on the invite materials. The talented and always amazing Katie Lewis Photography took photos of this collection. We also did place cards with the guest’s entree selection as little icons – so cute!

Each table featured a large menu guest’s could take a peek at while enjoying drinks and conversation.

Matching table numbers brought everything together. The couple chose a square booklet for their programs.

I’m finally getting around to updating some of the wedding collections I’ve created in the past year (yikes!). Here is a pretty summer wedding invitation I created for my brother and sister-in-law last summer. They wanted something elegant, with hints of rustic elements as they had an outdoor wedding in Itasca State Park, Minnesota. I came up with this lovely summer lace collection!  

I love how the lace detail just peeks around the edge, dressing up the kraft card stock. The soft white card stock has a beautiful water color texture. The green design for the envelope liners give these warm, earth tones a pop of color while keeping with the whimsy design. 

We also went with kraft colored envelopes that were printed to tie everything together.

I’m excited to share a few images of a recent styled shoot I created stationery for that is featured in the Dainty Obsessions Spring 2014 issue. Our theme was “English Country Garden”. I’m back working away and gearing up for another busy wedding season. My husband and I are enjoying our new addition – Elle Victoria Corwin was born on 12.12.13 at 6:50 a.m. We are totally in love with her and enjoying every second!

I’m excited to share a wedding suite that is featured on Brides.com! Pat & Lacy’s gorgeous Chicago wedding is featured in Brides  “real weddings” section. I created their super fun save the date cards and wedding invitation suite. Check out the beautiful images by Katie Lewis  Photography below – and here is the link to the article!

Lacy wanted to incorporate the fun “poppy” color J. Crew is famous for – and I had fun utilizing that color in their wedding suite.

Pops of gold and green were also incorporated. Their fun yet elegant invitations feature gold foil dots with a shimmery gold backing card. Outer envelopes and RSVP envelopes were in the poppy hue, and a smooth white card stock was used for the rest of the materials. Lacy’s dress was simply amazing! Her flowers were also so gorgeous!

For Pat and Lacy’s save the dates we incorporated the legendary Chicago theatre and caught guests attention with the fun text on the marquee. A great way to get guests excited about the big day in a fabulous city!

The save the dates were printed on a shimmer card stock. The back featured the Chicago skyline and all of the details.

I wanted to share an invitation set I created awhile back for one of my friends baby showers. She had a baby girl and I created this suite in pink. I hope you all are having a wonderful fall season! The weather has been beautiful here in Boise! I’ve been enjoying the warm temps and taking advantage of the beautiful fall days. My Jack Russell’s have been very happy with their daily walks (as have I – being close to 8 months pregnant!). We are enjoying our new home and getting to know the area.

Wedding season has slowed down and I’m gearing up already for next year! I’ll be showcasing a lot of new invitation suites and more at the annual “Get Hitched” wedding event next month at the Plains Art Museum. The show is Friday, November 8th, from 6-9 p.m. This is an awesome opportunity to meet some of the best wedding vendors in the Red River Valley. This show differs from the big informal, wedding shows – the venue is much more intimate and it’s a great night out (complete with yummy drinks and food). It’s like a cocktail party – where you can enjoy yourself – but also get some wedding ideas and planning done…how great is that!? I’ll post more on the event later – but click on the link above for more information and to get your tickets in advance for only $10!

Along with wedding season slowing down (and the fact that I’m close to being all moved in and settled into our new home) I finally have time to catch up on my blogging!

I’m super excited to share a new wedding invitation collection I created for a recent styled wedding shoot I was a part of. The styled shoot took place at the new Grand Historic Event Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It’s a beautiful and intimate location in downtown Grand Forks.

The main floor can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner or up to 250 guests for a cocktail reception. The hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and fourteen foot ceilings create a perfect location for your event!

Katie Lewis did a fabulous job photographing this shoot. Sadie’s Couture Floral & Event Styling hit it out of the park again with the gorgeous decor, table linens, chairs and floral arrangements. I love working with both of these vendors as they are the best in their fields!!!

The colors for this shoot were navy, gold and white. Clean and crisp with a touch of vintage – I love how everything came together!

I had fun with the menu design – the unique shape is eye-catching and interesting. 

I love the cutlery, chargers and flatware  – it really pops on the navy table cloth.

I love the floral centerpieces Sadie did, the roses were beautiful and the candle holder adds a touch of modern. The little touches of mercury glass brings all of the metallics together – so pretty!

Papers I used for this shoot: antique gold shimmer, white shimmer card stock with a linen texture, and a deep navy blue card stock.

The fun shape of the menu was also a detail I included on the invitations. I made little monograms printed on antique gold card stock, wrapped with a navy and white twine which were tied around each invitation set. The horizontal lines on the envelopes liners added some interest to the simple white envelope. The white invitations had double backing cards navy and gold for a luxe look. Envelope printing with your return address on back and your guest address on front of your envelopes is always a nice touch and something I offer to every client!

I added the gold stripes to the program as well!

Our beautiful bride and groom! The bride wore a beautiful gown from Très Chic – also located in downtown Grand Forks. This bridal boutique is a must stop if you’re looking for the perfect wedding dress! The tux is also from Très Chic. 

Avant Hair and Skin Care Studio did a fabulous job on the makeup and hair on our beautiful bride.

River City Jewelers provided the beautiful ring, necklace and earrings.

Sarah’s Sweet Boutique did a fantastic job on the cake! Gorgeous!
