Work and Summer

2011-06-26T16:53:00.001-07:00

So I started my new job at Labcorp. I like it so far and its only about 20 mins from my house. India has lost both of her 2 top front teeth and has one on the bottom ready to fall out. we set up a pool in the back yard and the kids have pretty much lived in it. I signed India up for the library reading program and she starts cheerleading in about two weeks. We are getting back in the grove of me working, thankfully Leslie is here and watches her for me. We are going to try and go to the zoo and to hurricane harbor in the next few weeks so watch for blog post.Well thats all for now just a quick update!

Last Week of School, Family and a Birthday Party

2011-06-07T08:49:00.000-07:00

So this last week was really fun and busy. It was the last week of school and India had her field day obn Monday, she got 1st in the 75 yard dash and 2nd in the hoola hooping. we had lots of fun but it was very hot! Later that night we had some very special guests show up......Grandma Grandma, Grandpa Grandpa and Uncle Jared. Tuesday was India's end of the year awards and she was excited that gma and gpa went. She got perfect attendance award. Then on wednesday was her safari day so she got to dress in her zebra print outfit......(thanks to her aunt ja she loves her zebra print)Wednesday was also Lily Mae's 1st bday. Thursday I kept India home from school so she could spend the whole day with the family since they were leaving friday morning. We had Birthday party for Lily and Tina, Love, Sheena and Amir came over. The boys had practice and came later. friday was India's last day of school, she was really upset that gma and gpa left before she got up and it made for a rough day at school. On saturday we went to Tina's Company picnic and then to X's basket ball game. Sunday I was feeling a little under the weather so we just stayed home. I start my Job with LabCorp on the 13th so I am trying to get rid of this crap....i dont know if its allergies or a cold but it sucks. Well thats all for know!

Texas We have arrived!

2011-04-12T18:39:00.000-07:00

Ok I know it has been a while since I posted....so I thought it is about time to update the few followers I have:) So we moved.... yes moved to Texas. So Far so good! India is enjoying her new school and her friends. She also is Loving that her brother is right down the street along with her cousins. I am still in search of a job:( but hopefully soon I will have one. India and Layla are getting ready to start the Texas Cheerleading thing....I guess its a pretty big thing out here. But she has let me know that she is still going to play Basketball like her brother! So the trip out here was long and I thought it was never going to end...........I will never take that drive again!!! BUT we are here and ready to start this new adventure. Although We miss our family SSSSSOOOOOOO Much! I am looking into Nursing schools out here and plan on starting in the fall.

The weather out here is crazy one minute it is hot and humid and others it is rainy windy and cold! The kids love going to the water park and riding there bikes and are excite

d for some summer time fun and the zoo and other amuesment parks out here. India received an award at school for best effort! She also Got her hair braided, YAY! I also Got a new washer and dryer! Its so Nice:)

India had to do a building tht would be in the community so she did one of her school with a playground. The girls are sharing a room so they got to choose how they wanted to decorate their side....of course India chose Zebr print and Pink, and Layla picked Princess. We are enjoying spending time with our family here and catching up with the boys!

I will be keeping my blog up to date:) atleast trying!

An official Logue!!

2010-06-16T10:18:00.000-07:00

I will be writing more and posting pics this weekend but for now just wanted to Announce that India is officially Logue!!!!Yeah!!!

Spring has brought me such a nice surprise!

2010-05-18T08:05:00.000-07:00

Yeah Yeah Yeah......this month has just started and has been awesome. First we moved into a bigger place...a house not an apartment with a big yard, chicken coups and an annoying peacock down the street but it is so worth the noise from that thing. Then last Thursday I got a call from my lawyer's office saying we have a court date to finalize the adoption....Finally after 31/2 long years of working on this adoption India will become India Logue on June 15th, 2010. I am so happy for the direction my life is heading! I also got into the class have I have been trying to get into for the last 4 semesters so I can continue into nursing!!! So everything is in our future is looking so bright....I want to thank all my family and friends who have been there for India and I from the very beginning........I LOVE YOU!!!

04/10

2010-05-04T17:12:00.001-07:00

So it has been a while since I posted so lets catch up!! April was the fair and India had so much fun!! She loved riding the rides but most of all she loved showing aunt Jaci's goat in the Pee-Showmanship Comp. The day before that we had are final homestudy done for the adoption...one more step..get a court date!! yeah! Then we were lucky enough to find a bigger place to live and will be moving up by the fairgrounds in one week!! (now if only I could get packed!) India is growing so fast she lost her first tooth on Sunday thanks to a little help from aunt Jaci!

I am also very excited because Shana had her little boy Payton on 04/26...can't wait to see him!!

I am also excited because miss Lily Mae will be entering the world at the end of June and I get two more nieces or nephews this year... for a total of three!!! How exciting!?! But I am feeling old as the end of the school year gets near My baby brother Jared and my baby sister Jaci are graduating this year, I am so proud of both of you, and India and I love you guys so much.. many wishes for a bright future! school is ending this semester for me tomorrow and then I will be back in the fall.

My grandma Hortt will be 85 on the 12th of May...i am so thankful for her and can't wait to see my family for her party this weekend!! Well I think that sums up what has happenend and what the future month is bringing for me and my family!!

Loose Tooth!

2010-03-17T14:07:00.001-07:00

Ok so this morning I was taking India to my mom's like I do every morning and she decided she wanted a piece of gum....so she put it in her mouth and 10 seconds later said she was done with it. That is very unusual for her so I asked her if something was wrong she said no so she spit out her gum, after that she was really quite and then all of a sudden she started screaming with excitment, " MY TOOTH IS LOOSE , MOMMY , MY TOOTH IS LOOSE!" Well I couldn't check it right then because I was Driving but when we got to my mom's I checked her tooth and sure enough bottom front right tooth was loose! She has been asking me for the past 6 months or so when she was going to have a loose tooth and here it is. It was so cute to see how excited she was.......it made my day! She is growing up way to fast! Now I Know why she didnt want the gum!

January 2010

2010-01-31T10:55:00.000-08:00

Its all Fun and Games this month from Gymnastics to Museums. Leslie and I took the girls to the Lied Children's Discovery Museum in Las Vegas....we had so much Fun! The girls played in an airport, bank, grocery store, car repair, bubbles, the tornado tunnel and the chair lift where they had to seat in a seat and use the rope to pull themselves up to the top!

India is involved in Gymnastic @ Flex it Gymnastics, they are doing fundraisers to help Keep the gym open as part of that they had a picture fundraiser for the kids. Here are just a few of India that were takin that day! Gymnastics and Riding Horses are India's passions that is all she wants to do, she gets so excited when she gets to do them!! It would be such a shame if Flex it was to close, there are so many kids in the community that are involved.

As for me nothing has changed since Last month still working and being a MOM...It has its ups and downs but the ups make it all worth it.....I couldnt ask for more, I am Truely Blessed!!

I was luck cuz India did not get up till 8:00am but she was so excited Santa brought her just what she wanted a princess pony! Then we went to mom and Cliff's for christmas day where we openend more presents and snacked all day. Thanks to my wonderful family for making this a great holiday.
