As you can read above, I've started up a new blog and decided to just maintain that one blog. Instead of having 3, I'll just have one. Of course I'll label them and etc...in case you don't want to read about... whatever lol. I just thought this would be easier to do. Please don't mind the blog template, I still haven't decided what I wanted yet.

06.09.13 - RIP Former Filofax Dividers...

As the title says, I'm retiring my Filofax dividers that were currently in my Filofax. Why? I decided that I'd like to be able to use one planner. Sure, I have a few other Filofaxes but I'll be using them for other things.

The new planner I'm using is the Gillio and as it's said above, I'd like to have most of my stuff in this one. If I spent that much money on it, heck yeah! Lol! Because of that, I had to make new dividers. (Will do a future post on this). But this post is about me retiring my former dividers!

When I first made these dividers, this was a week after I got my first Personal sized Filofax. All I did was use the included Filofax dividers and my label maker and that was it.

As you can see, it's not just the divider and the label. About two months ago (?), I received my stationery order and apparently the notepads I bought (a LOT!) were of the same designs. So I decided to use them for my dividers. All I did was cut them to size and glued them on. Some, I added washi tape. But most of the time they were just glued on.

It's also because I knew they would be my temporary ones.

Anyway, here's the first divider...

The character/brand (whatever) is a Taiwanese brand and is called "Sweet Miki's Friends" [something like that. My brain isn't functioning now...cuz it's 2:20am LOL]

Now, the dividers I have are also temporary. I plan on making permanent dividers and using my art for them.

I made 13 dividers (made out of Filofaxes A-Z dividers)

Whew! I'm getting really tired since I can't seem to function right now.

06.07.13 - Filofax wishlist

I was thinking about wanting to blog more often but I didn't know what to blog about. I thought I'd post my Filofax wishlist.

Wishing that Filofax USA would come out with the new range as quickly as it does for other countries. In fact, I wish all the different Filofax websites would have the same colors/models just in different languages (obviously) so you don't have to go through the hassle of shipping rates, currency conversions and etc.

The #1 thing on my wishlist is an A5 The Original in Fluorescent Pink! (the above photo doesn't show the pink it's true color!)

However, this photo does! In my previous post, ... before I purchased the Malden and my Gillio; I said that I ordered one (well, I ordered the personal sized one... but now I want an A5) from Pens and Leather. I ordered in early May. On their site it said it was going to be a pre-order and it would arrive at the end of May. I know it's not their fault, but their shipment got delayed until.... the end of June!!!! So when I purchased my Gillio I cancelled it and got my money back and used some of the money on the Gillio. But you know what? I regret it!

I know I've said in a previous post that I'm not a pink fan but this pink is just .... BAM! IN YOUR FACE! I love it! Plus, it'll match my pink and black theme for my store....

My mind keeps wandering to it. I changed my mind on the size (want the A5 now) because I want to use it for my online store. Currently, I'm using the Personal Metropol in Lavender for it (among other things; but I plan on moving some things to my Gillio). Unfortunately, it's a little too small :( Which is why I wanted an A5.

Other colors I wanted for the Original was the yellow one (look above) and the green one. Honestly, I wanted the A5 to be the pink and if I ever got a personal sized one, I'd want it to be either the yellow or the green. I wasn't really into the yellow one until someone posted their yellow ;__; and it was gorgeous!!!

Another one I want that's not on the Filofax USA site is The Blossom. I wouldn't mind having it in either Pocket or Personal size. It's just so darned cute! I don't even mind the fact that it doesn't have pockets on the inside. I would use this as a journal or something... This isn't a high priority on my wishlist. If I miss it, then I'll miss it.

And another one would be the Doodle mainly because I'd love to design the cover of my Filofax. It's pretty cheap but... just like the Blossom it's not high on my wishlist.

I can't stop thinking about the Original and I'm really anxious to get it -_-; I don't even know why! Especially since I have the Gillio and the other Filofaxes. [I think I meant that I don't know why I'd want a personal sized the Original because I would definitely use the A5 one for my online store. Sorry for the confusion :P] Ahhhhh!!! People need to stop tempting me with it!! Lol

06.06.13 - Gillio Firezne Agenda (Medium Compagna in Aubergine) [Image Heavy!]

As you know, the Filofax was my latest obsession. I'm in the Filofax group on FB and follow the Philofaxy blog extensively. One day, one of the members of the group posted a video about the Gillio Firenze planners... and made a lot of us fall madly in love with it. One of those people was me! ^_^ [Obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be posting about it. Hehehe]

After debating for awhile and watching more videos from Mella (the one who posted about the Gillio), I really had to hold myself back from buying one. Why?! They're about 3 times more expensive than some Filofaxes!

Then, Mella tempted us even more when Gillio gave her a promotion code for the Philofaxy group; 25% off until her birthday! [June 16th, I believe] Oh, you have no idea how long I debated about this....

But as you can see from the above photo, I lost my battle and bought one. I said it'll be my splurge item for my birthday.

[Boring background information about me] My family doesn't celebrate my birthdays so most of the time, I try and do it myself. Most of the time, it's splurging on an item I've been wanting for awhile. Unfortunately, last year because of some personal issues; I wasn't able to do that. So! I thought that this would make up for it! And, truthfully, it's still not as expensive as the SLR I got a few years ago ;)

I had gone to the site a billion times and couldn't decide between the MAT Croco - Grey (Mella has this one) or the MAT Croco - Aubergine. Somehow, I kept getting drawn to the Aubergine one. On impulse, I ordered that one. Or at least, I tried to. Lol!

I used my credit card to purchase it and wow, they're right on top of fraud protection! It got declined. I was wondering why because the card is completely paid off. So I checked and it said my account was blocked because they suspected fraud. O_O; Of course I called them and they told me that "someone was trying to purchase something in Belgium with your card". I told them that was me!!! LOL! They unblocked my account and let me purchase it. YAY!

Unfortunately for me, five days later... I was like "Oh noooo! Maybe I should've gotten the Grey!" So I emailed them and tried to see if they could switch the colors. Unfortunately, it was sold out. But it's okay... ^_^ They told me I would love the Aubergine and you know what? They're right. I still do want a Grey one (Maybe a compact/pocket size one), but that will have to wait (in the far off future :P)

I ordered on May 18, 2013 and received it June 3, 2013. Not bad for shipping speed. Of course, I was waiting IMPATIENTLY for it :P When I went to get it, I rushed out the door and didn't realize my T-shirt was on backwards (:D Silly me!). Guess I was just that excited.

Wow, my intro is crazy long! Anyway, lets get on with the post! ^_^;

Stuffed inside the box was a bunch of bubble wrap. Sorry for the bad lighting in the first two photos... I took some of these photos on different days.

I started using the flash on my camera. I used my SLR :P Ahhhh! Are you excited yet!?!??! :D~

It comes with a dust bag which is awesome because while I just toss my Filofaxes in my bag, I don't want to ruin this one.

You can't really see it, but let me describe the left side/inside cover:

There's a zippered gusseted pocket. Right next to the zipper there's another long pocket. Where you see the Gillio promotional cards and such is a business card slot. There's also a secretarial pocket (Why didn't I take a photo of this!?)

On the right side, you'll see that they included a "page" of leather that's the same color as the planner you chose. You can get this engraved with your initials for a fee. I didn't do it, obviously :P

What you don't see (because I didn't take a photo of this either -_-;) is the full-length pocket in the back! FULL-LENGTH!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to put important papers and bills in here! ^_^ That pocket has me all excited LOL.

The leather is amazing. I've had a Filofax Malden and an Amazona and I must say that I really love the Gillio's leather. It's soft, supple, floppy (in a good way), not heavy, well made, etc.

If I were to get another Gillio, I'd still stick with the Compagna model and get the Pocket sized in Mat Croco - Grey. I really love the pocket sizes :).

Anyway, I love my Gillio so much that I'm selling off my Malden. Then again, I wasn't a really big fan of it. I'm still debating if I should sell the Mode...

06.05.13 - Vacation/Birthday haul (Image Heavy)

OMG! I'm posting again! What's wrong with me?!? No, truth is I should be sleeping but I just can't. I just got home and it was a stressful day and I thought I'd blog a bit to feel better.

Today was my first day back from vacation. I had a closing shift. It wouldn't be a problem if: #1) I wasn't the only one closing #2) I haven't had a closing shift in almost two months and forgot how to close *nods* <--so much fun! #3) We didn't have enough associates!

I thought it was quite funny that once I got to work, M.L. was like "OMG!!! Thank goodness you're here!!!!" O_O;; Apparently, me and her were the only scheduled supervisors to work that day! WHAT!? She opened and I had closing... My former manager [he finally got promoted to Assistant Store Manager!!!! YAY!!!] took over when M.L. and I were scheduled for lunches.

Anyway, after M.L.'s exclamation, I was summoned by a customer for a "chat" which turned out to be a wonderfully long screamfest IN MY FACE!!!! -_-; Awesome.

ANYWAY! Let's get on with happy stuff! :P MOST of the stuff I got for my birthday and my shopping trip with Bex.

I didn't include this lotion (it's at work, in my locker and I got the small travel-sized tube) and this shower gel (I'm too lazy to get it from my bathroom LOL).

A teeny tiny rubber stamp that says "BIRTHDAY". I believe it's a scheduler/planner stamp. That's exactly what I planned on using it for (my planner) I got this in Japantown's Maido store.

My friend, April, had just started getting into book binding and she had fun making a coptic-stitch binded book. So I told her I always write in my journal and always get new ones on my birhtday,. So that's what she gave me for my birthday. LOVE! She gave me handmade journals.

I told her I wanted blue paper and she did it!

Near the end of our trip to San Francisco, we dropped by one of the malls (for food) and wandered around too. We stopped by the YesStyle store. And they were having a sale on accessories. 40% off!!!! Um YEAH! You bet I bought something. It was this bag (I'm currently using it now). With the discount and tax and everything it was $18.94

I have it on my wishlist on the website. Lol! I couldn't decide between the black or the brown. I'm not much of a brown handbag person. Tammy was trying to talk me into getting the brown one, but I told her I'd like to have a bag that goes with everything (as most of mine are like that) so I chose the black [against her wishes! lol]

06.03.13 - 32nd Birthday in San Francisco! (Picture Heavy) and Saturday too :P

Today's my last day of vacation. Quite sad. Most of the time, I didn't do anything. This is how my vacation went:

Yep, I watched many movies. ^_^;;;

But this post is going to be about Wednesday and Saturday

A year ago, Stefanie (co-worker) and I planned on going to San Francisco together. Things kept happening and we ended up not being able to go. This year, we both requested time off (paid!) on the same day (hers as just one day, mine was a week paid vacation).

Anyway, I thought it would be more fun if we invited more people. So, I did. I invited a few more co-workers: April and Tammy and I asked my friend Strawberrymilkmade to meet up with us when we arrived.

The week before and the days leading up to Wednesday, I kept asking them "Where do you want to go?" They kept saying they didn't know *dies*

I had an anxiety "attack" when I had to finally tell the evil ones that I was going to SF. I told them the day before. Actually, I just told Mom since Dad wasn't home yet. When he came home, they were strangely, happy about it. O_O;; In fact, they gave me some money, gave me their Fastrak, the SF house keys, and suggested places to go! O_O;;; I was like WTF is going on!?!??!?!?!

We all agreed to meet up at my work place at 8am. Stefanie was picking me up at my house at 745am. She had never been there before but I gave her directions ;P

While driving, we were trying to figure out where to go. We said we'd go to Japantown first because that's where we were meeting up with Strawberrymilkmade and we said we'd go from there.

After an hour and a half of driving, we arrived to Japantown where we promptly went to the bathroom LOL. Stefanie and April waiting on the others...

I found out that Tammy loves taking pictures after this photo. Here April and Tammy are posing with the garbage can outside of the bathroom we just used.

After we went to the bathroom, we shopped around Ichibankan and Daiso.

We also found out that Tammy has a big black-hole stomach. She was complaining non-stop about being hungry. So the first place we went to was Sophie's Crepes. Tammy and I were the only ones that ordered crepes. Here she is taking a GIANT bite...

April was deciding if she wanted one but Tammy said she'll share hers. April stole a banana slice from Tammy's crepe :P Stefanie didn't bother trying the delicious crepes...

We were waiting on my friend at this point and deciding what to do. After this photo was taken, Strawberrymilkmade told me she was running late, so we decided to head off to get some real food.

We ended up going to Kushi Nuru the place I always end up going to! Though this time, I suggested we go here but didn't think they would LOL. Here's my cloudy miso soup...

Mine came out last, as usual. Somehow that ALWAYS happens. I ordered a Vegetable Curry Croquette over rice. Mm... Delicious!

We were finished eating when Strawberrymilkmade arrived so we headed off to take purikura!

Hehehe. So much fun! I would've done more but I think some of them were getting tired of it... This is one of the main things I wanted to do on my birthday...

They got 3 new machines and it's weird how you work the machines now. Instead of shoving bills into the machines, you have to pay the attendant and wave at him to let you know you're ready. Some of the machines we tried were super fast -_-; Oh well! It was still fun :)

We parted ways with Strawberrymilkmade and decided to head to the beach. We were going to go to Baker Beach but I guided us the wrong way. April whipped out her iPhone 5 and directed us to a beach...which turned out to be Ocean Beach. Lol.

To get down to the beach, you had to walk down some stairs and climb up a sand dune. Everyone made it but me and Stef. Stef fell once and after she fell I did too. I fell twice, actually. After the second time I fell, I was like SCREW IT! I'm CRAWLING UP! And that's what I did and everyone laughed at me :D Hey! I don't care LOL

Saturday! Bex and I planned on hanging out this week but things kept falling through. Finally, we were able to meet up on Saturday! Yay! The first place we went to, because she wanted to go,...was to get some Dim Sum.

We headed off to Asian Pearl 2009 and when we got there... it was closed, but opened. Lol. Did I confuse you? There was a private party, so it was opened for them and not to the public. So sad.

So, I directed her towards New Canton where we ended up.

Once we sat down and ordered our tea/waters, Bex promptly grabbed 5 dishes!!! (This was before we got the other 2) and WOLFED THEM DOWN!!! She said she was starving! :P

Bex ate most of it. I couldn't get anything because she grabbed them all up before I could LOL.

After Dim Sum, I gave her my Personal Domino (Filofax) in Violet. We also decided to head off to Vacaville, to the Vacaville Premium Outlets. We got caught up in each others' lives in the car. We hadn't hung out/talked to each other in a year..,maybe more. We wandered around and bought some things [shall post in my next post]

After wandering around, we decided that we were hungry/thirsty and dropped by Fenton's Creamery.

We were still full but she didn't want to leave without going there. So we ordered one sandwich and fries and split them. She was debating on some ice cream but... decided not to. Lol.

After Fenton's we drove a butt-numbing way to Roseville's Galleria Mall. And wandered around there until it was time to go home. It was funny because the whole day, I didn't spend much money but Bex did. She spent a little over $300! I spent about $30.

Well, it was fun. I'm sad that my vacation is over. Truthfully though, it's supposed to STILL be going on but they gave me ONE day off this week :/ (minus the vacation day) which is strange. Oh well! We need the money, right? :)

Next post, I promise I'll post what I purchased from my birthday and on Saturday and my birthday gifts. ^_^;

05.28.13 - Decorated pages...and Malden

I haven't blogged in awhile. >_<; I think I mentioned in my previous post that it's mostly due to the fact that my internet connection has been a piece of crap. It used to be really good but now...not so much. My dad got frustrated too and we just upgraded our service. We had the lowest one and now have the next one up (in speeds). It took a few days for it to get back to not kicking me off...

While my internet was dead, I watched a lot of DVD's. I watched Season 2 of Drop Dead Diva, Season 9 and 10 of Friends, all the SAW movies (yep, again), a few other DVD's that I have. I really should've studied but the truth is I would have to look up some things while I was studying and I couldn't because of crappy internet connection. [Yeah, my excuse LOL!]

Okay, onto Filofax news. I've been drooling over the Gillio Firenze planners. I decided to bite the bullet and SPLURGE on one as a birthday gift to myself. My family doesn't celebrate birthdays so to make myself feel good [is that dumb?], I decided to get one. I wanted the Croco-Grey but decided to get the Croco-Aubergine. I changed my mind and emailed them to see if I could get the Grey one, but they were out of stock. Oh well. It was marked as shipped yesterday, so I have about a week to go before it gets here.

Before I got the Gillio, I decided to get a Personal Malden in Grey. But, before I did that, I sold my Personal Osterley in Grey. As beautiful as it was, I couldn't bond with it the way I did with the Metropol and the Finsbury. I had it for about a month... Oh well. I ordered (on impulse) the Personal Malden in Grey. I think it was because people kept posting about their Maldens in the Philofaxy group on Facebook.

Honestly, I'm not very keen on the Malden but I loved the pockets on the inside and the fact that you can stuff it like mad! Well, I ordered on Amazon and was extremely happy to see that I got it a week later.

Here it is! Isn't he handsome? Though, I do like the Malden the color isn't speaking to me. One of my favorite colors is grey. But the grey Filofaxes have disappointed me (first the Osterley and now the Malden). I love how the color looks in the above photo. That's taken with a flash (actually, all the photos in this blog post was taken with a flash) and it appears beautiful! I love that shade of grey. But in person, it's darker... and I don't like that.

Someone in the group wants to swap for a grey Malden for their vintage pink one. I'm totally up for the challenge! I hope! Lol.

Anyway, I've babbled enough! I'm going to show you how I've been decorating my pages.

First, I'll show you what my page looked like when I first started decorating pages and used a Personal-sized planner.

Taa daa! Kind of minimal....This was when I didn't know how I wanted to set up my pages.

Directly the week after. I tried decorating it the way I did when I had my Pocket-sized Filofax. I wrote sideways but it didn't look right :( This was also the week I discovered using washi tape. I have deco tape already but I use those for my i+t stuff.

It's been awhile since this page. I think I've discovered my perfect diary set-up.

This is last week's page. Honestly, I didn't do much.... Most of the time, this is how my pages look. I like drawing boxes around the dates, so it's easier to see.

My writing doesn't allow it to be written neatly and "clean" looking. So I separate each entry by adding dashes around them [If I draw lines, it's harder to see, I believe]. The times on the sides of the pages are my work schedules. It's easier to see when I write it like that.

These pages are for the week that just passed. I did accomplish many things on my lists/diary. I worked a lot on my i+t store. Still have a lot more to go!

I like how all the colors fit too...

I don't know why I never added an important list into my diary section (like I did in this photo and the next photo), it's easier to remember if I do that! X_x;

For some reason, on Saturday and Sunday... well...they always come unfilled. I don't know why.

I want to try and do more posts and I might be able to this week since I'm on vacation (paid! Woot!). It's also going to be my birthday in a few days (okay in one day)! I'll be going to San Francisco with 3 co-workers. *dances* Okay, I'm falling asleep now. Lol

Oh, I plan on changing my dividers once I get my Gillio planner. Mostly because I'm tired of having my financial section in a different planner (in this case, it's my Metropol).

05.18.13 - This May, I became obsessed with many things -_-;

My internet has been really crappy lately. When I say crappy, I mean DIAL-UP is better than what I have. My parents didn't notice it much, but I noticed it. I thought it was just because of how far my room is compared to where our router is located. Nope, even the desktop which is connected to the router is going stupidly slow too.

So, I've been thinking and looking around for different internet providers. Our area doesn't allow for regular DSL or cable internet (stupid, right?) We have fiberoptics. Unfortunately for us, only one company is able to do it in our area. Another unfortunate thing is...it's quite expensive.

Lately, I've been thinking of trying out Clearwire. Supposedly, they have it in our area. We have representatives at our store everyday so it makes me wonder if employees will get a discount and if the internet will be faster. It's a little more expensive (by $5) but it should work for us. I'll have to talk to some of our sales people about it first. See what happens or whatever...

All the things I need to do, [real estate license studying, my online store, and basic...internet thingers :P] just aren't cutting it. This is also why I haven't been blogging.

Anyway, onto things I'm obsessing over. And yes, the Clearwire thing was one of the obsessions. I've been thinking about it for the last few months.

Filofaxes have been a new obsession lately. Maybe I'm just trying to find a the one planner! As of right now, I have these Filofaxes in my possession:

1. Pocket Finsbury (Antique Rose) - First one I got. Right now, it's just in storage because it's too small for what I need it for.

2. Personal Metropol (Lavender) - i+t logs; finance log, and journal

3. Personal Domino (Violet) - Blog ideas/notes

4. Personal Osterley (Grey: Though, this one is in the process of being sold to someone)

5. Compact Back to School (Green) - Daily Planner (for now)

6. Personal MODE (Pink/Green) - Daily Planner (if I want to switch)

How funny, I actually thought I had more. Oh actually, I will have more! >_< I'm in the process of waiting for a Personal 'the Original' in Neon Pink/Fluorescent Pink and a Personal Malden in Grey. I wanted "the Original" for awhile... as for the Malden, it was an impulse. Though this whole month has been impulse purchases galore X_____x;

I planned on using the "the Original" as my daily planner and using the "Back to School" one as my sketchbook. The 'MODE' would be used as my journal and the "Malden" will also be for my planner if I want to switch around.

HANDBAGS! I've been wanting a new one. I almost bought one a few days ago. I was going to get the Michael Kors' Hamilton in Saffiano leather (navy colored). It was GORGEOUS!! I couldn't resist but... I did. There were a few other bags I was looking at but...the Michael Kors' was the most recent one. But I was like "oh, I have too many bags. It's okay". I wish I thought of that when I got all my Filofaxes. Lol.

I've also been obsessing over the Gillio Firenze planners. OBSESSING!!! And I did a stupid and just purchased one. -_-; That's why I was selling the Osterley to justify the purchase of it. I'm thinking I'll sell some of my other ones too. Why? The Gillios are quite expensive. -_-;

Oh, why isn't the Amazona in almond in my Filofax family? That's because I sold it to a friend. She really wanted it. Lol! She just received it this week and has loved it since!

I might do some Youtube videos on my planners. I'm hoping I can...cuz my internet connection is so bad ;(

Anyway, that's what's going on so far. My eyes are bothering me now because I didn't take any of my allergy pills X_x;

05.02.13 - Omg! New range on Filofax USA's site!!!

05.02.13 - Windows 8, I don't like you.

When I got this laptop, I was excited because this would be my second computer EVER that I had ever purchased with my own money. The laptops that I had before this one were used and gifted to me by my brother [his work place changes computers often and sells them/gives it to people for free/cheap]. The first one I purchased by myself was a custom built one that my brother made for me. In fact, we still have it (sitting in the garage collecting dust. It was only replaced about a year ago by my Dad. I don't use that computer)

Anyway, when I got my tax return (yep, that's what I used to purchase the laptop), I saw that they had this laptop on sale. I didn't look at what OS it was or anything but checked out the memory and the ram. I don't know much about computers but it seemed pretty decent. Then again, most things are better than my DEAD laptop ^_^;

So I got home and charged it and turned it on once it was fully charged. Um... what? Windows 8!? I've never heard anyone say anything about it. The next day when people were asking about it, I was like "Oh, it's Windows 8". They all gave me a look. One said "What's wrong with you? Is it a touch-screen laptop?" O_O; I was confused. Why would it be a touch-screen? Apparently, that's what Windows 8 is good for. Tablets and touch screen computers. X__x;

So, I got used to it.... then I started to have to do things. I need certain software to do my art things with. What?! Not compatible! The thing I needed the most and it's not compatible with: DELETER's COMICWORKS

:/ Not happy. Fine! I'll try and figure it out... I don't have to finish my comic for awhile (since I'll only work on it when I have time). Then, I decided I needed to use my drawing tablet. So I downloaded the driver that's supposed to be for Windows 8. :/ Something's wrong with it. Umm... what? I even downloaded it from the actual site. It works but not very well. It makes extra marks when it doesn't need to, which means more erasing. I just kept it.

Suddenly, my scanner decides to die. ;___; Dude, this scanner is NEW! I think I got it in October 2012. :/ The light doesn't come on which makes it...NOT SCAN. :/ I need it for scanning my art to make labels for my i+t items, especially since I have some new collections I plan on releasing soon.

I decided I'm going to TRY and draw digitally. I tried downloading Paint Tool Sai and it said it's compatible with Windows 8. :/ LIES! It kept saying there was an error and I downloaded it from the site. :/ Windows 8, I was tolerating you... but now I want to chuck my laptop out the window. :(

As of right now, I'm trying to draw in Photoshop and it's going OKAY. The extra erasing/deleting is a pain in the butt, but I can't do anything about it :( Oh well, I'll have to figure this out. I don't have the funds to buy a new scanner either. *sigh*

04.26.13 - "New" camera and gift from Hawaii

What!? A new camera again!? Well, this isn't exactly new. It's new to ME.

Every year at our store, they majorly discount their digital cameras and camcorders. It always only goes for one day because they sell out so fast! (Mostly to the associates that work there LOL)

I didn't know it was that time of year again until one of the Audit associates hijacked a Panasonic camera that I had been looking at before. She told me it was that time of year again and omg! Word spread FAST!

Luckily, I had an opening shift cuz I could check them out before everyone else ;)

I went with one of the cashiers and I was looking at a Samsung and she was looking at this Canon ELPH 320HS and.. well.. Hehehe Omg! This is a story ^_^;;;

We both wanted it. But she saw it first so I felt obligated to give it to her but she wasn't sure if she was going to get it because it didn't come with a charger. This was a display model, btw. A lot of them are brand spankin new! She also found another one and I was like... bah. But I really wanted this blue one.

I kept bugging her about it. (I'm so annoying :P) All day, in fact. I thought it would be fair to have someone that actually wants to buy it...BUY IT instead of an "I don't know...."-type person. But I wanted to be fair...

Though, I admit to having devious plans with others to somehow get her to let me buy the camera. Like "I'm your supervisor so you have to do what I tell you" <-- Lol! No, I didn't use that XD

Anyway, halfway through our day; she wasn't feeling too hot (well...all day). So she asked if she could go home early. I wasn't the Supervisor in Charge at the time so I told her I'd ask Sandy (who was). Sandy said it was okay. So I asked her "does that mean you're not going to buy the camera?" She said "Yeah, I won't." Then I asked her a billion more times to be sure and she said she'll let me have it.

>_<;; When she finally clocked out she came back to buy the other camera and then she asked for the blue one. I said "what?! You told me that I could buy it and I already purchased it!" (there were 4 other people that wanted it, lol!) She said that she thought I was kidding <__<;;; But she doesn't mind.

WHAT A DEAL!

First impressions:

Macro, not that great. I love me some macro photography.

It's fast taking photos. It doesn't lag like some of the other cameras I've tried.

A little annoying to use. The touchscreen is a pain in the butt. It took me ONE MINUTE to delete a photo

AWESOME video quality! Photo quality is great too BUT it's not great for what I want it for.

Great for quick snapshots.

Colors aren't washed out. I noticed that Sony and the Panasonic cameras slightly wash out colors (especially Sony). When I used the flash, there wasn't that annoying shadow on the bottom. YAY!

04.11.013 - First Jetpens.com Order

My friend, April, and I were talking about doing a combined order to Jet Pens for awhile but never actually did it. Finally, we did. Lol.

By that time I didn't know what to get and I remembered the limited edition Majolica Majorca pens that I had randomly seen. If you didn't know Majolica Majorca is a Japanese cosmetics' brand and their packaging is always so beautiful.

That's what I ordered. I ordered all of the singles and one of the multi-pen. Turns out that the singles are refills for the multi. But you could still use the singles by themselves.

Five of the multi-colored refills are in the multi. I don't know why I chose the blue and yellow multi one, I think it just called to me ^_^;

The pens themselves are a fine point and I thought these were actually ballpoint pens since I'm used to seeing multi-pens be ballpoints. They write very smoothly. I must say, I really love these pens and they kind of remind me of the Hi-tec C pens. I put the multi in my planner for easy access ^_^

04.11.13 - Allergies, go away!

No photos in this post, as this is a boring life update ^_^;

It's funny how allergies work. When I lived in SF, I had no allergies. When I lived in Chico, my allergies were bugging me a tiny bit. When I moved here, it was the same as in Chico. It bugged me a bit, sometimes itchy eyes and an itchy nose... but this year... OMG! -_-; My allergies are really bad! My eyes are so itchy, dry, or watery; I've been sneezing a billion times. The weather isn't really helping it's been super windy and it's hot too, so my windows are opened.

Work has been crazy. We have enough people to help with our lines and etc but we don't have the labor to schedule them to work. Because of this, all the supervisors have to ring up. Now that they've changed the "Dept Sup. in Charge" duties, it kind of helps so that we don't have to stand behind the counter all day as customer scream at us for not helping them. Now, we don't have anyone behind the counter and all the supervisors are ringing up.

It's really difficult too because they got rid of the Returns' Associates, so OUR cashiers have to go to Returns. It really sucks when we have a line and Returns has a line... :/ We're constantly getting screamed and yelled at for more cashiers, but it can't be helped. The sales people on the floor, can't ring up, and they're like us... scheduled thin.

I think it's so ironic that if there are big lines in supermarkets or ... Walmart (or something) no one complains. But in our store, we, literally, get screamed at.

It's been extremely stressful for three of the supervisors. During my Dept Mgr's vacation; the store manager called those supervisors into the office and told them that their positions were eliminated. It's not because it's them but because of the positions. It really sucks because these three supervisors work the hardest. They were stressing so much and they didn't know what to do.

Last week, we found out about what's going to happen to two of them. Because they can't be part-time (they need the benefits/hours); they're going to be demoted back to cashiers. There were rumors that Jenn was going to sales because of her experience. But she didn't want to do sales.

Apparently our Dept Mgr talked to Jenn on Tuesday about what's going to happen to her and it's good news for both me and her. She's staying as a full-time supervisor. Yay! Wait, but how is that possible when there's not really any room for supervisors? She's not going to part-time... Was someone getting fired?

Nope, they're moving me up! (FINALLY!) To that position I was supposed to get before M stole it away! And Jenn's taking my position! Yay! That's good! Though, I don't think the other supervisors will be happy about it. But, she knows a lot more than the others and she's been supervisor longer than all of us! (Including me!) It's supposed to start next week... PLUS, our hours are going to be really weird. Apparently, there's only one opener (no surprise), one mid-shift person, and one closer. O_o; Hmm... I wonder how the one closer thing is gonna work...

As for the Filofax obsession. No worries, I'm still obsessed with them. I'll be doing some posts on them soon ;)

03.26.13 - Personal Amazona Set-Up

It's Spring! We were given these GIANT pots of flowers last year. Once the flowers died, we didn't think they would bloom again, but we kept the pots just in case. But here they are blooming! I don't know what these flowers are called but they grow out of the leaves (I can't explain it). O_O; They're gorgeous. I did some macro shots with my camera...

Love this photo! I'm thinking of printing it out with my Polaroid Pogo and putting it in my Filofax.

As the title says, I've finally set-up my Personal Amazona (in almond). I've copied the tabs from my Pocket Finsbury, so it'd be an easier transition to the personal sized one.

Opened! The two pen loops are being occupied by (left) a Limited Edition Majolica Majorca [Japanese Cosmetics brand] 5-color pen. I know I've said that I don't like using ballpoint pens and usually the multi-colored pens are ballpoints, this one isn't. It's a refillable gel pen. I'll do a post on the pens soon ^_^;. On the right is a Pilot Hi-tec-C pen in light blue. And next to it (out of a pen loop) is another Majolica Majorca pen...

I've been lazy and not using my wallet, so I stuffed my Driver's License, my Debit card, and my Paypal card in the card slots. As I've said before, the leather is very soft and it's easy to take out the cards.

Inside the flap (secretarial pocket?), I've placed stickers I want to use up. I'm not a huge Hello Kitty fan but I keep getting (from people as gifts) Hello Kitty stickers >_>;

When I bought this planner off of eBay, it didn't come with a flyleaf. So sad. I never realized how much I needed/used it until I got this planner that didn't have it. ^_^; So I took it out of my Metropol (I won't use it in there) and am using it as a dashboard. I have some sticky notes and a memo sheet (<--the Little Angel one) stuck on there with washi tape. The "toast" sticky note isn't very sticky, so I stuck it on with washi tape too.

They're just reminders for what I needed done (Doesn't have to be done ASAP, but I had nowhere else to put it, so I put it on the dashboard :P)

Also had some mini sticker sheets that were already hole-punched / I had to punch them. I got most of them from Michael's but one sheet was gifted to me by the seller of the Amazona. ^_^

My tabs... I used my label maker (which I love and am almost out of black tape ;( ) to create the tabs. Not pictured are the top tabs I made (same tabs). I took these photos a day before I made them.

My first section is the Monthly section. It didn't come with monthly sheets, so I purchased these from KiddyQualia. Instead of using the super bright ones like I've purchased before, I was inspired by PaperLoveStory's light blue paper that she uses in her planner...

I use the Monthly sheets for bill tracking.

The next section is the Diary section.

I was testing out layout and color (and decorating :P) last week... I forgot that I could use the ruler to make straight lines, so my lines were jagged LOL.

The start of this week. (Some days have been filled out already... Like I said, I took these photos a day before I worked on this week. I normally input my work schedule first, then fill in as the days go by.

I+T A section comes next. It's for my online store. I mainly list what needs to be done and inspirations or whatever. The Metropol has more of an extensive list of things that need to be done for my store.

The washi tape was on sale at Michael's. I didn't buy a lot... Since there wasn't a lot to choose from.

Blog section comes next. These are the posts (for a different blog; the one for THIS blog is on the next page but I didn't include a photo, LOL) I'd like to do...

Amazona!!!

So, here's the thing. Maybe I over-hyped it.... or I don't know. Before I purchased it, I really wanted it and was in love with it. After a few weeks of owning the Amazona in almond... I'm not attached to it. I'm very attached to my Pocket Finsbury and Personal Metropol. But I don't know why this one isn't working. I told some of my friends that I thought it looked like old bones and keep thinking of that. -_-; I don't know why.

My dilemna, I might... MIGHT be selling it. I'm not sure yet. I'm going to give it another two weeks. If I still can't get attached to it... I'll sell it. I might do it through Adspot on Philofaxy or eBay. I haven't decided yet. I have been eyeing (like a mad-woman) the Osterley in grey(gray?), also personal-sized. Ahhhh! I don't know! *brainfarts* X_x;

03.19.13 - Setting up the Personal Amazona (in Almond)

I've been slowly setting up my Amazona (not as slowly as setting up my Metropol, lol). Mostly because I wanted to finish the week using my Finsbury (Moving from a Pocket Finsbury to the Personal Amazona). So here are some photos...

My gorgeous Amazona (in Almond!!!!) that I won on eBay. There is a small blue ink mark but it's so small I barely noticed it. I wonder how I can get rid of it though :P This is in bad lighting -_-; It looks like it's going to rain...

Honestly, I thought the Amazonas were made out of a stiff leather. I mean, if you look at it...doesn't it look stiff!? Even the inside! Nope! It's soft, supple, and SQUISHY ^_^;;;

On the inside cover, there's a pocket that I keep stickers in. There are also five card slots which I haven't used yet. I don't know if I'll try to use this as my wallet... I might because carrying this and a wallet will take up too much room.

This didn't come with a flyleaf. When I first watched the videos on Filofaxes, I had wondered what was so great about the flyleaves. Well! When It didn't come with one, I was quite sad. :P So I took it out of my Metropol (temporary move!) and stuck a post-it note on it on what I'd like to purchase for the Amazona.

Oh, the only things I found stiff were the pen loops. This photo shows my Pilot Hi-tec-C pen.

I know a lot of people don't keep Contacts in their planners. I do it only because I change cellphones OFTEN. (or at least, I used to but this habit stuck -->) Every 6 months, I would go through my cellphone contacts and update my list. Usually, when I switch cellphones... none of the numbers would be saved and it's a pain in the butt. Especially since a lot of the contacts are work-related.

Right now, there's nothing in the Monthly, I+T A, and Contacts tabs. I haven't filled them out them out yet. The Monthly, I'm waiting on my KiddyQualia order [which should arrive in a few days! YAY!]

So, I'll just be showing you my Diary set up.

I really like looking at decorated pages but I can't seem to do them :( I tried (as you can see in this photo). This was when I copied things from the Finsbury to the Amazona.

A whole new week. I haven't finished the other half of the week yet. The first thing I always put in would be my work schedule. (That's what the folded sheet of paper is. I keep it in case someone needs to switch schedules or the other supervisors call and ask what time they work... They always seem to call ME :P) If I know I need to do something for the week, then I'll write it in. But they usually get filled in daily. As you can see, I was playing with color. Lol.

I hope transitioning into the Amazona will be easy. I'm the type of person that doesn't like change (sad, isn't it? ;P) which is probably why I'm really attached to my Finsbury. But, RAWR! I'll make this work! This is my dream Filofax!!!!

03.14.13 - Filofax Amazona in Almond and life and such

It's strange how certain things make you check your tracking number every five minutes. I have many obsessions and the Filofaxes have made me stalk my tracking numbers constantly. I don't know what it is about these things but...

Anyway, I don't remember if I mentioned before but I'm taking real estate courses (online/correspondence courses. Recommended by the California Dept. of Real Estate)... Anyway, my Pocket Finsbury was starting to feel a little cramped because of the classes. So, I started looking on eBay for personal sized ones. Sure, I have my Personal Metropol, but I've already designated it as something else already.

I don't know why I started looking at the Amazona and the Osterley. I couldn't decide... but I know for sure I really wanted the Amazona in Almond. After losing an auction for one, I gave up for a few days and looked at different ones (not an Amazona or an Osterley :P).

Out of pure luck, I found another Amazona in Almond on eBay. The seller did an auction and had a buy it now option. You bet your butt I did the Buy it Now. It was cheaper than what I would've paid in that auction that I had lost!!!

The seller, Karina, is also in the Philofaxers FB group. I wasn't sure if it was her, but when she messaged me, I knew it was her. Anyway, she sent me many progress reports and photos and kept getting me all hyped up and excited about it. ^_^; Unfortunately, I purchased it over the weekend so I had to wait. Why does it seem like I always get them over the weekend? :P

On the day it arrived (yesterday), I kept checking my tracking number and it never said "DELIVERED". I was getting frustrated and just went to my PO BOX and there it was!!! YAY!

Once I got home, I literally ripped the package open ^_^;;

It came in an actual box, not like how my Finsbury or Metropol was a cardboard sleeve. This was an actual box. ^_^ It felt all fancy-like.

She included some extras and a cute little note :)

It's funny that I was just thinking of getting those arrows recently, now I don't have to! Mwahaha!

Inside (ish)

Week on two pages... Since it didn't come with Monthly sheets; I'm ordering them off of KiddyQualia from Etsy. I decided to keep this one non-bright. The monthly pages I ordered are going to be light blue. The weekly pages are cotton cream so they're thicker than the normal Filofax pages.

I'm going to be moving into it soon. I've already started (a bit). I really do love my Pocket Finsbury. I think it's the perfect size for me but... because it didn't fit my needs... ;__; I'll try my best with the Amazona.

Work. I just found out (literally, 30 minutes ago) that the top supervisor in my department has left to a different department. What does that mean? That means... I'll be the top supervisor in my department and that scares me!!! I didn't mind being the next one up, but not the top one! [I don't know if they're going to promote me or not... but because of my position; I'm the top supervisor].

Anyway, I'm trying to get into the habit of studying. I haven't gone to school or studied for anything in over 8 years. The last few days I've tried to read/study for at least 2 hours. I've also brought my book to work. But it's hard to do it there because of so many distractions.

Hehe! Seems like this blog is starting to be only about planners ;)

Most of the time, I save my planners. But I went on a cleaning spree a few months ago (totally forgot until I was looking for my planners to post up). These are the oldest-most recent planners I've used/have before switching out to the Filofax. PICTURE HEAVY!

I believe I've mentioned before but I used to be a HUGE anime/manga fan! This was an omake (-aka- an extra) that you had to fill out a postcard to send away for. My friend got this for me. ^_^; This is my oldest planner I have now. I've moved all the dividers to my Filofax Pocket Finsbury and some of the sheets are in there too.

I used a WEEK + NOTES Moleskine before this planner but I tossed it already. I have no idea why I kept this one. Since the parents went back to SF for awhile, I found I had more chores and errands to do. My Moleskine didn't work because it was too small. So I got this Daily planner from Barnes & Noble. I didn't make it fancy or anything.

This was the planner that made me start using the Yearly Plan for the discount codes for my store...

03.13.13 - Online Business Tabs

This post is for Niaka from the Philofaxy FB Group who wanted to see how I set up my Filofax for my online business. Please note, it's not finished yet; I'm slowly working on it but this is how I wanted it set up.

If you didn't know, I started up a mineral makeup (mostly eyeshadows right now) company. It's really small but I have fun doing it :)

Sorry for the first two photos >_>; I forgot this thing called a "flash". I used my Metropol in Personal-size. Half of the binder is used for Finances, Lists, and etc. My business isn't big enough that I need to use a complete Filofax (hehee! See how I didn't mention any other binder/planner!? :P) for it.

Here's a quick, horribly shot overview of all of my tabs. I used all the dividers (Including the A-Z ones). I used 3 different colored labels:

Directly after the I+T A divider/tab, I put some Address sheets in for websites for the suppliers I use.

For the INVENTORY section, I list out my Out of Stock items (whoops! This sheet, in the photo, is in the wrong section!) so that I can re-stock.

The LISTS section is used to keep track of what colors I have and what I've discontinued in case my customers would like me to bring them back.

SUPPLIES - I have two separate lists for this section. One is for Ingredients (like in this photo) and the other one is for packaging.

The LOG is my tracking # (shipping) and invoice log.

I made the log myself... It needs to be re-done ^_^; But I'll use these up first.

I don't know if you can see it. From L-R:

Order Date, Invoice # (I plan on adding customer name too), Tracking #, Ship Date, and Ship Amount (I'd like to know how much I spend on shipping).

I hope that helps. It's not a giant binder full of stuff, but it does help me ^_^;

03.09.13 - Obsessed much?

Oh dear, what have I done? :P

While looking through YouTube Filofax videos, I came across someone posting about their Personal Amazina in Almond. Andi thought it was the most beautiful ever!!! I had to have it (this was a month ago btw) but it was discontinued and I couldn't find it :(

I looked on EBay and still couldn't find it. I decided to forget about it and to just get the Personal Metropol in lavender.

Anyway, after I got my Metropol; I kept seeing posts about the Amazona and it was driving me crazy.

A few days ago I found one on eBay. So I bid on it but lost *cries*. yesterday I see that someone else posted it and this time they had a buy it now option. mwahaha! you bet your arse I got it! well,... I have to pay for it once I get home from work (where I am now lol). The seller lives in California too (a few hours away) so it won't take Long for it to arrive! Im so excited

But you're like what? another one?! As much as I love my pocket Finsbury... I've found that since I'll be starting my real estate courses that the pocket won't fit my lists :( We'll see though. And I know you're probably asking 'well what about your Metropol?'

I've already designated it as a business/finance binder. it's all laid out already I just have to fill it in.

03.08.13 - My Planner Story

I should be studying >_>; but instead I decided to write about how I started using planners. I thought it'd be interesting to read about [for some people! I'm one of those people!!! :P] I plan on doing a post on all (most?) of the planners I've used. I've saved most of them. This will be a text post... it's late at night and I don't feel like taking photos ^_^;;;

It all started when I was a freshman in high school. I've never used planners before, I've never seen anyone (meaning my peers) using planners either. Suddenly, it's my first week of high school and my English teacher tells us that we will have a weekly planner. It wasn't store-bought or given to us but it was in the binders were were forced to keep for our class. Every Monday, he drew a table on the chalkboard and write in things that were going to happen for the week. We all had to copy it down. As the days go by, we would add to our "planner". Yep, that was my first experience with a planner. It wasn't much but... maybe it's why I fill my planner the way I do. I do the same thing now. Every Sunday, I write down all the things that need to be done and fill in each day as need be. Is that the same for you? Or do you fill it in every day? (Just wondering! :) )

I thought it was a chore (as did most of the people in my class ;P). The next time I came across a planner was my senior year in high school. One of my classmates was the Student Body President, President of a billion clubs, etc etc etc and more! I noticed that she always carried a planner around. It wasn't a weekly planner or a Filofax but a monthly planner you can buy anywhere. I would watch her meticulously write in it every single day [she sat diagonal from me, so I could see :P]. Being the stationery obsessed-freak that I am (heheh), I wanted one too. So I got a really cheap monthly planner. I tried filling it out but I didn't have as many duties/obligations as she did. So that failed ^_^;;;

A year later, it was my first year at college and all the assignments and due dates overwhelmed me! So I picked up a student planner from the University's store. I had seen a bunch of other students with them, I thought "I need to try that too!". It helped a bit but I kept forgetting to fill it out and just wrote due dates on my class notes -_-;

I believe it was 4 years ago (?). I had been a member of Livejournal and they started having Communities. On the front page after you logged in, LJ posted a thing where they feature Communities. One of them was the Organizers community [The most recent entries are only viewable to members in the group]. Members posted their week's entries. It was fascinating! Some of them made them so beautiful and etc etc. Like I said, being the stationery-nerd that I am... I was ITCHING for a planner!

By this time, I was out of school (because we moved here) and was working a full-time job with nothing else except I was really into my art/drawing comics. But I didn't care! I wanted a planner! ^_^;

Most of the members of that group posted Moleskines. I thought it was too plain so I looked everywhere for the perfect planner for me. I found one in the local Sanrio store. It was a Kuromi planner. I loved the layout. But I got tired of it really fast. I filled it with my art "duties". [example: Pencil page 12 of my comic; Ink page 11]

For the next few years I would go through different planners, mostly bound ones. Mostly: Sanrio or Moleskine. I did find some adorable Korean planners. In fact, the site that sold them sold them for CHEAP so I ordered a BUNCH (I believe I ordered 8 at that time). <--The site is gone now and most of them have been used with the exception of one of my planners. I gave a few of them away too. The only planner I have left and hasn't been used is the Alphonse Mucha one. I couldn't bear to use it. I think I've had that planner for 3 years now...

I stopped getting the Sanrio planners. I didn't like their layouts. The only layout I really liked was the Kuromi one that I got a long time ago. I purchased two other Sanrio ones but I didn't like them any more. So I stuck with Moleskine for awhile.

I only discovered Filofax recently. I was watching a YouTube video. A "What's in my bag?" video and she pulled out a Filofax. After that, I was still meh about them. I couldn't understand what was so great about loose-leaf-type planners/binders.

If you've read this blog (not like it's very interesting :D), you'll know that my parents (whom I live with) had left to San Francisco for a few months. My Dad's a contractor and they were working on my uncle's house. Anyway, during this time; I found that my Moleskine wasn't working [I was using the Weekly + Notes]. I had extra duties/chores/errands I had to do.

I went to Barnes & Noble and bought a daily planner. I didn't make it fancy or anything [no decorations... just scribbles]... After a month of that... I wanted to make my planner pretty :(

Then I found a few other videos on Filofax setups. After that, I was hooked. I had to get my own. I watched more videos and when I found out they were having their 60% off sale; that was when I promptly purchased my Pocket Finsbury. ^_^;

Yep, there goes the uninteresting tale of how I came to use the planners. Although, the ending was kind of abrupt.

I really suck at titles.

A few things have happened that's quite... stressful? I haven't written about life-things in awhile. Lol, it seems my blog has become obsessed with my Filofax. ^_^;;; More of those posts to come, btw ^_^;;; Hehehe!

Is it sad that Filofax has made me happy? ^_^; Mostly because I've been decorating and filling it (well my, Metropol...).

I used to go to work to get away from stress at home. And life at home, is very stressful. But we're not talking about home right now, I'll be talking about work. The last few weeks have been extremely stress and anxiety-filled. Everyone's scared of losing their jobs, including me.

Last week, one of our supervisors, M, got fired. It wasn't official until yesterday. [We have to wait until our corporate office confirms it] She's the one that transferred here and got the position that I wanted/was supposed to get. Two weeks ago, she got suspended for three days for messing up and when she came back, she was late every single day that she worked. That's what got her fired because she was still on probation.

Anyway, my manager went to a few of the supervisors (he didn't go to me!!! Maybe that's a good thing???) and told them that they're doing whatever they can to fire us so try not to make any mistakes and especially, don't be late. <--That could be why he didn't tell me. I'm never late. I'm always 30 minutes early. When he told us that, all the supervisors were freaking out. I was freaking out because I make a lot of mistakes :( I try not to but sometimes when you're distracted... It happens.

I've been so stressed that I'm surprised my hair hasn't gone all white :P Also, I haven't been sleeping or eating much lately. When I eat, it feels like a brick in my stomach. So I just have a few bites and yeah.. that's it. Sleeping is torture. No matter how tired I am, my mind is overly active. It just won't let me sleep.

I totally lost my train of thought. Well, the Filofax has been giving me a little happiness in life. It's strange that a planner could do that but it takes my mind off of things. I'm still trying to work on filling my Metropol.

I was distracted because I'm talking to a friend on Facebook right now and he just gave me a link for the scanlation for Koe no Katachi which is a one-shot manga that just came out in Japan's Shounen Jump and it's causing a lot of controversy because it's about bullying.

Well... I guess that's it for this post ^_^; Since I"ve completely lost my train of thought lol.

02.26.13 - Alternate to Filofax paper...

I'm finally going to post a (quick?) review on the Kiddy Qualia paper I purchased on Etsy.

Most of her refills are colorful. I have come across plain white ones...but I ordered the colorful ones.

If you've read my previous Filofax posts, you'll know that I really don't like the Filofax papers. Most of the pens I use show through on the other side. The only ones that don't are when I use ballpoint pens.

I like my pages to be full of color and etc. Using ballpoint pens won't cut it. I like my inks to be bold and bright. So I searched on Etsy and came across KiddyQualia's store. She makes bright, rainbow colored refills. (For Pocket, Personal, and A5 sizes).

At that time, I only had my Pocket Finsbury....

It didn't take long for my order. The owner of the shop is very nice and convo'd me for some information that I left out.

When I received the pages, I promptly tested them out with all the pens that I use.

02.20.13 - Setting up Personal Metropol

I admit, I was putting off setting up my Metropol. >_>; I had only 3 categories (big tabs), but I wanted to use all the ones that were included (6) otherwise, it would annoy me. Unfortunately, I couldn't think of anything after the 3 categories, those were the most important to me...

I, also, didn't want to set it up yet for a few reasons:

#1) I ordered more paper from KiddyQualia and wanted to use it for the sub-sections in the big tabs (I think I just confused myself Lol)

#2) I couldn't figure out how to do my dividers. I didn't want to leave them plain :(

Since it was my day off today, I decided to go check out Michael's for some scrapbook paper to maybe spice up my dividers. Instead, I came away with 3 sheets of stickers (stickers are an addiction!!!) and a label maker (lol!). I, also, decided that for my dividers I want my art to be on them. But I haven't decided if I should draw directly onto the dividers or print them out...

Anyway, a few hours ago, I got bored of watching my CSI dvds (there's only so much crime drama you can take!) and decided to work on some things. I made a few logs [Keep reading...]. It took a few tries to get me to print them front and back, but I did it.

I, also, purchased gray (yep GRAY) paper and planned on using them for my i+t invoices and for the logs that I made. I think it'll look interesting :)

After I cut them down to size, I realized that I had no hole puncher >_<; I'll probably end up getting one tomorrow.

Anyway! Then, I decided I wanted to play with my label maker. Lol! I've never used one of them before. I had to Youtube a tutorial to see how to load the tape into the labeller. (I has the smarts) I must say that labelling things is fun! I want to label more things! Lol!

Only about an hour ago was when I finally decided on the last 3 categories. >_>; Anyway, onto the pictures! Warning! I'm still setting it up! It's not complete yet :P

When you open it a ton of crap falls out :P The sheet on top are my notes for what the categories/sub-categories are for the planner. Below that are: a receipt, stickers, and sticky notes.

Here are the labels I made for my tabs/dividers:

L-R: DIARY, I+T A (my online store), FINANCE, PSSWDS, SITES, and LISTS (there will be sub-catgetories within these main ones)

DIARY - The planner came with a week on two pages (sheets) and I don't plan on using them to do any "planning". I have my Finsbury for that. Instead of throwing them away or giving them away, I'm using the pages as a "journal". Kind of. I write, daily, things that I did/what happened. No thoughts, but... just what I did. Example, today's was: Did my laundry, Waited for Dad to call me [to tell me]so I could call to set up an appointment for him, Shipped off packages, etc etc. I used to journal and I kind of miss it. But instead of writing long entries, I thought of just jotting down what happened.
I+T A - Most things for my store. Example: Inventory tracker, Tracking (for shipping) # Log, etc.
FINANCE (self explanatory :P)
PSSWDS (self explanatory)
SITES - The past 2 months, I've switched to 3 different laptops. It's such a pain to try and remember all the websites I liked from blogs, communities, etc. So, I thought I would write them down.
LISTS - Mostly, wishlists ;P

I spent a few hours working on these. I don't know if you can see them. The top one is for my store. It's a tracking number log (for shipping my orders). I've had a few people claim that they haven't received their order but I've kept a log for their tracking #. I used a separate big notebook for it but I'd like to have it all in one place. Which is why I made it :P

The second log is a Spend/Finance Log. It's funny how both Filofaxes that I ordered, I never received any finance sheets even though the description (for the Finsbury) said that it came with it. Oh well... I decided to make my own.

02.14.13 - Well that's nice >_>;

I did's a stupid. -_-;

Yesterday, I took a million (not really) photos. Luckily, some of it was already posted (in my previous entry). Unfortunately, most of the photos (60+) were for my other blog and hadn't been posted yet since the previous post took longer [Thanks to a wonky internet connection!!!] than planned.

While this new laptop has an SD card slot, for some reason I couldn't get it to go in and I was too frustrated and decided to use my external card reader. The external one is located in the back of my laptop (USB port is back there). I left the SD card in there overnight.

After work today, I had to check my messages (for my store) and when I flipped open the laptop, there was a loud CRUNCH sound. X_____x; Yep! My SD card was in between the hinge, so now it's broken completely in half. *sigh*

The thing is, I don't even mind that the photos I took yesterday are gone. Those I can easily re-do (kind of....) But that SD card housed my favorite photography-type photos. Like my cactus photos and my little troll thing... ;___; Luckily I did save MOST of them on my external hard drive but there were a few I didn't get to save. Luckily, I had posted them on this blog already so it's saved somewhere in cyberspace :P

But now, I have to buy a new SD card -_-; I'll have to learn to be careful with my SD card too. Anyway, that was my awesome moment! Lol!

While it was slow, I decided to re-plan my Metropol. I was trying to see if I had any more ideas on what to use the Metropol for. I did end up having a few new ideas (compared to the previous plan for it) for it... I can't wait to use it. If I wasn't so tired and had the paper... I'd start setting it up.

I've lost my train of thought... but it's because I'm super tired. I'm going to pass out. I was up since 530AM. Oh, I need to remember to keep my phone on (sound) because my alarm clock broke, so I have to use my phone to wake me up (I don't like using the alarm on my phone). Luckily, it's a later day... so I might not even need my alarm.

02.13.13 - Yum Yum Sushi! Metropol has arrived!

Yesterday, when I was supposed to do chores (which I ended up doing later :P); I went to lunch with my friend, April. We wanted some Japanese food and headed off to our usual place, Arigato Sushi which is about 30 minutes away (for both of us but coming from different directions). It's, also, directly next to an art supply store: Utrecht.

We agreed to meet at Noon. I was the first to arrive. She arrived a few minutes later, we decided to go to Utrecht first. We spent about 30 minutes in there just browsing. Then, we declared that we were starving and headed off to eat.

It was my first time there in the day time/afternoon. We usually go after work which is usually 10pm and later. So it's quite interesting to see how much light is in the restaurant (it's usually very dark and dim).

The first thing that came out was a dish of Wasabi and Candied Ginger. We don't care much for the Candied Ginger and we don't use that much Wasabi...

My appetizers have arrived! A salad (yum yum) and Miso Soup. I like their Miso Soup, it's very light and not very salty like other places I've tried...

I. also, ordered an Oyako-don. Nom nom nom! I haven't had these things in years! Whenever we go to Japantown in San Francisco, I always order one. (Well... I, usually, order a Katsu-don but since I've found out I'm allergic to pork... >_>;;; )

I was already full after the Miso Soup and the salad. Lol! I gave some of my sushi to April and I took two bites of my Oyako-don only to decide that I couldn't handle it any more! Lol! I took it home.

After we ate, we went back to Utrecht because April wanted to get some things. Then, we headed our separate ways.

I had planned on going to the mall that day to get something (see below). Luckily, the mall is very close to the sushi place.

I'm not a huge MAC fan, but sometimes they release things I really want. >_< In this case, ths e Archie's Girls collection just came out; it's obviously based on the Betty and Veronica comics (I loved them when I was growing up!)

There were two things I really wanted and was happy to see that they were in stock...

Anyway, it was a slow day today at work. I was constantly checking my phone and checking up on the status of my Filofax being shipped... it's supposed to be delivered by today and I wanted to see if it was. I was checking my phone every 15 minutes >_>; So annoying LOL. Especially since it made time go by slower.

About an hour before I was off, I was assigned duties (usually, Supervisors don't have duties but because they've been cutting hours...) and it was my turn to push carts. Usually, you have a partner to go with you but the person that was supposed to do it with me was stuck with a customer. Oh well. I told them I'll do it but SLOWLY since I can't push that many carts at once. (I can push four at a time LOL)

Well, I haven't pushed carts in awhile and ran over my foot with 3 carts. YAY -_-; It hurt (obviously) and the weird thing was... I should've known that I was bleeding. Because the inside of my shoe started feeling sticky. I thought it was because I stepped in something and I had a hole in my shoe (hey! My shoes are old! :P) Nope nope! Found out when I got home that my toe was bleeding. No wonder it hurt! I was being called "GIMPY" for the rest of the day :P

Anyway, I completely forgot to check the status of the Filofax and once I had 15 minutes left before I clocked out, I checked and was super happy to see that it had been delivered!

Once I clocked out, I rushed off to get it. I was so happy.

I ended up getting the Personal Metropol in Lavender.

Unfortunately, I can't do anything with it (at this moment). I didn't order any new pages or anything but I assumed >_>; it would at least come with Monthly sheets but no! Only Weekly (Week on two pages), some address sheets, pastel ruled paper (not a lot), TO-Do sheets, and a notepad.

All the things that I planned on using the Metropol for can't really be done since I don't have any of the refills for it. I swear it came with different things (from what I read on the site)...Oh well! I ended up ordering from KiddyQualia on Etsy again for refill sheets.

I plan on using the Metropol for more business-type things and mostly keeping track of finances. I've been trying to spend less and I thought it would help.

When I say business-type things, I mean making lists of things that need to be taken of when it comes to my online store, like supplies to order from, websites I order my supplies from, inventory tracker, tracking # list (I used to keep this in a separate notebook but I'd like it all in once place), and etc.

Well, it's getting late and I must sleep. I wonder if I'll still be limping tomorrow >_>
