This shouldn't come as much of a surprise since I have been terrible at keeping this site updated and the page views have dropped...LinkinLady.net is officially done.

I've been doing this for 13 years and it has been a lot of fun but I don't see the point of continuing on. I have many other things going on in my life now and of course there isn't really anything that is posted here anymore that you can't easily find yourself because it is shared on social media.

It really has been an experience! I have learned a lot and made friends that I will always treasure.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has commented or emailed me to say nice and supportive things over the years. You guys kept me going! There were times I wanted to give up but someone would always end up giving me a positive boost. I also want to say thank you to every single person who helped me by sending things in. I couldn't have done this so long without you!

Lastly I want to thank the women beside Linkin Park. They have been awesome. It's amazing how accepting they were of this website. I am grateful for their kindness and patience. They truly ROCK.

I do want to also apologize that I promised to get the photo gallery back up and never did. What happened was the host I used decided to start charging for their service and I somehow didn't get any notices about it (stupid junk mail). Once I figured it out, they wouldn't let me back in...It was just too much work for me to try and find ALL the pictures and upload them again somewhere else. I hope you understand. :)

I'm still a huge fan of Linkin Park and can't wait to hear whatever they have coming next. I also will always have respect for the "Linkin Ladies".

You can still keep up with what they are doing by following them on twitter, instagram and snapchat. If you need help finding links, just contact me and I'll help you find them. ;)

Showing @jensenclan88 how to properly force his book into every photo he takes from now on. I listened to "Kanye West Owes Me $300" on audio book, which means I had the pleasure of listening to a Shakespearian actor eloquently read Hot Karl's lyrics. While I would like to say that pushes the audio into 100% the way to experience this book, the pictures in the hardcover are pretty difficult to compete with. It's this month's @deathsentencesreadingclub pick. I'm already through it and loved it, so I guess I'll have to pick up another book from my enormous "to read" pile as I wait on the next selection.

Shedding a tear that this is the last night I'll hear @loveline on @kroq. I have always had respect for @drdrewpinsky and applaud him for hosting a show for many years that has helped countless people. I am honored to have been a guest on Loveline and to have had the opportunity to talk with Dr. Drew, Mike Catherwood and Dr. Emily Morse about how incarceration emotionally effects family members. Hearing Dr. Drew say that not only he had read Learning Not to Drown, but that he recommended it and felt it would help a lot of people was one of the highest compliments I could receive. Purple and gold all day today in honor of Kobe. I can't be at the game tonight, but I was thrilled to have attended almost every home game for four seasons, two of those being championship years. Two years ago today, we celebrated the release of Learning Not to Drown. My favorite thing still is (and will always be) the pictures on social media of my book out in the wild (thank you for tagging me so I see it) and the letters/reviews I've read from people that Clare's story resonated with.
