1. Open terminal and run this command, sudo gedit /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/js/ui/dash.js

2. Search for 'iconSizes' as you see on the screenshot. In

Did your eyes sick when see the icon on the Application shortcut on Gnome3 shell is too big? I feel it. In this case we only need to change some value that related to the icon size. If you interested to try, you

Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot was launched on 13th October last. You can download it from here. Its utilise their Unity interface and Ubuntu classic environment removed. So some applications for example Ubuntu Tweak will not work properly on this Unity environment. Hopefully soon they will fix it. Maybe it will need hard work too for Sabily team on this version. We pray for them to have more

Before this, I had post about Blankon 7.0 Pattimura. Here its Islamic version call Blankon Sajadah 7.0 Pattimura. This distro is from Indonesia. Its operating system language is default to Bahasa Indonesia. Anyway you still can choose others language. Islamic software already install in it same like Sabily but for Indonesian you have advantage that some of the software were set to Indonesian

Windows 8 will be released soon. Now they had released Developer Preview version. You can download it from Microsoft download page. If you plan to install Windows 8 on your Linux, you just need to use virtual machine for example Virtualbox like what I'm doing. Then you can try it without remove your lovely distro from your machine. Lets see some screenshot that I take while installation process

I created new wallpaper for Sabily distro. I mean it was an unofficial wallpaper. An alternative for the current one. You can download it from this link, http://sabi.ly/f/f3LAs or just click on the picture then zoom, right click and save as to your pictures folder.

Also banner to promote Sabily Uhud 11.10. It was 768x90 and 468x60. You can use it on your blog, website, sosial network and etc.

The most important thing in Sabily is an Islamic software and applications that insert into it as well as themes, wallpaper, mouse pointer and others. As we know it as the Islamic operating system. Ubuntu also recognize and call it Ubuntu Muslim Remix. What I want to discuss here is about its Islamic software and application. I had list out all of the software and application that we can get and

I have read question about "how to make transparent panel on ubuntu?" on one computer magazine. The answer just by text only without example picture. So I make example about it with picture. Maybe you also want to know how to make transparent panel on Sabily. This method is same on Ubuntu too.

Lets try,

01. First, right click on the Panel. Then click on Properties.

02. Click on Background

I have tried Ubuntu 11.10 Beta 1 codename Oneiric Ocelot, which was launched a few days ago. Running it on my Sabily Badr 11.04 using Virtualbox SE programs. There is not much difference in the installation process compared to earlier versions, 11.04 Natty Narwhal. Its default wallpaper also same.

Here are some screenshots of Ubuntu 11.10 Beta 1 Oneiric Ocelot installation process.
