CLAN Lookbook 2011

Clan is the new line from the Sagoe sisters, daughters of one of the most famous and influential designers to have come out of Africa, Deola Sagoe.

Teni, Aba and Tiwa started their clothing and swim wear line this Summer and I was fortunate enough to get a copy of their lookbook as Teni is a good friend of mine.

Clan is stocked in the Deola Sagoe flaghsip store in Lagos, Nigeria and they have an online store coming soon!

Last weekend my lovely sister Tobi of Stylebyqueens came to visit me in Manchester. It was a weekend full of shopping, relaxing and eating some of the best food I've had in a while. All in all it was bliss!

Kanye West DW SS12

Our favourite look from Kanye's debut womenswear collection which was showcased at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday.

From Anna Wintour to Azzedine Alaïa to Mary-Kate Olsen, all the biggest names in Fashion were in attendance.

I loved the selection of models used, basically the cream of the crop.

I think the collection was a good for a first collection and with time, Kanye can only get better.

Woke up to some beautiful Arlenis Sosa.

The first shot of just her face is simply amazing...

I'm sure by now everyone has heard about the scandal surrounding John Galliano.
He was fired from his role as head designer at Christian Dior following some anti-Semitic comments he made in drunken altercation with a couple.
There's no room for this kind of behaviour in the fashion industry and I think Dior are completely justified in their immediate dismissal.

LB's Oscars 2011 Best Dressed

Mila Kunis wore a lavender lace Elie Saab number. Absolutely stunning and effortless.

Hilary Swank in Gucci. I fell in love with this sequined fethered number.

Halle Berry in Marchesa. As usual Halle Berry looks gorgeous, loving the dramatic train.

Cate Blanchett looks great in this embellished Givenchy Haute Couture gown. I don't think many others would have been able to pull this dress off.

Michelle William's never fails to look effortlessly stunning, especially in this white beaded Chanel Haute Couture dress.

Natalie Portman was glowing in a draped chiffon Rodarte dress.

Camila Alves (Matthew McConaughey's other half) looked so classsic in a Kaufman Franco black gown.

My 3 days at London Fashion Week were amazing!

I went with friends, Kike (of Style By Queens) and Yimika (of Sia Amor).

Had so much fun!

Went to the Jaegar and Issa shows which were incredible.

You know I'm obsessed with models so seeing Jourdan Dunn at Jaegar and Abbey Lee Kershaw and Ajak Deng at Issa made my week.

Sat across from Alexandra Schulman at the Issa show, I was in awe.

Look out for my next post which is part 2 and covers street style.

The Row is the fashion label owned by The Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley.

These were the looks that really caught my eye.

Really love the animal print (Tosin has made me obsessed) and the fur.

It's all very tailored and screams luxury to me.

I love the Olsen twins, they have great style and this collection is a true reflection of just how fashionable they are.

She Did It Again

I saw this last night and I woke up with it again on my mind.

I LOVE Victoria Beckham. I love everything she stands for and despite all the malice the media throw at her daily, she has still managed to be an extremely successful woman.

And of course who can forget she is Queen of the WAGs! Which reminds me, she is married to one of the most beautiful men to have ever graced this planet.

This is her 8th Vogue cover, debuting back in January 1998 along with her bandmates The Spice Girls and this is the second time she's appearing on the cover on British Vogue.

What a beautiful woman.

Lipstick Boudoir are back with a bang and we are looking forward to 2011 which promises to be an amazing year!

My model of the moment has got to be 17 year old Hungarian beauty Barbara Palvin. She's only 5'9'' which is short in the model world but this hasn't stopped her from rocking the runways. In the F/W 2010 shows she walked in many shows all around the world including Prada, Giles Deacon, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton.

Having been featured in numerous editorials, Barbara is becoming a familiar face and it is clear this girl is on the rise. She pretty much looks like perfection to me!
