I'm back from Australia.

I've been back for about 2 weeks now and I'm still getting adjusted.

The jet-lag coming back is infinitely worse than going there. I think a lot of it has to do with me just being bummed out about returning to real life and leaving one of my best friends in the whole world, but it could also have to do with the fact that my day started at 2 am on Sunday in Australia

I'm in OZ

So, I got to Australia yesterday and have been having so, SO much fun.

Recently, I was nominated by two different blogs (You LIKE me! You really like me!) for this award. One was from Marissa at http://www.aguilarmarissa.blogspot.com/ and the other was from Alyssa at Life, Love, and All That Army Stuff.

Things have been busy around here (I've got some fun news!), so I'm JUST getting around to doing this. Here we go!

Rules:

I was recently contacted by Adrienne May from Military Spouse Central about doing a guest post on my blog. I love guests, so I decided I would go for it. She's discussing something that we will be going through soon enough: Transitioning from military life to civilian life. I was curious about this myself, because I have no idea and the thought still makes me nervous.

Even though we were several hours and hundreds of miles behind schedule, we decided to sleep in a little bit. We checked out of the hotel right around 9 and headed over to Denny's. Again. For breakfast.

Practically babies.

I had never lived on my own, hadn't finished college, and had barely had anything that constituted a "real" job.

Our original plan when we got engaged was to move to Northern California to attend a Bible college where I would

Working woman

I feel like I haven't had a moment to myself since I started working!

I do love the extra income because it's helping us save some pretty serious cash every month, but I feel like I'm always going and that I never have a minute to relax.

And I guess that's a part of being an adult.

But I'm not a fan. Maybe it's because I'm not in what I want to be my forever job.

I graduated with a degree in psychology. Just a bachelors though.

So. Basically. I'm just as qualified to work in psychology now as I was before I started college. But I'm in more debt now.

And while I love my job (truly. I love it a lot), I don't want to do that the rest of my life.

Well, not a complete solar eclipse, but an annular eclipse where part of the sun is still visible and creates what appears to be a "ring of fire" around the moon.

I was so excited when I found out we would be able to see it. SO excited.

The last solar eclipse that I've seen happened in 1994.
