I've been gone for a long time. Almost a year. I was so caught up in making money that I forgot
what made me happy. I forgot that being able express my sense of fashion, my taste in music, and my love for culture was what truly makes me tick. I got so caught up in working, that I left you guys hanging.

For that, I apologize. If there is anyone out there still reading, still randomly checking the blog , THANK YOU! I promise I'm really back this time. And if I fall off, feel free to write me to remind me that you're here.

No worries, I've been inspired, motivated, and determined. I do have few things up my sleeve, so stick with me!

When we were younger most of us heard that famous "you can do anything you want, be anything you want" line and we believed it! We really had the idea that being a policeman,fire fighting, rock star could work! Then we grew up. We stopped believing that impossible was possible and we were stuck...Stuck working regular 9 to 5 jobs. Pushing our dreams to the side. Being adults.

Almost 2 years ago I had the honor of listen to a young man SANG! It was my first time hearing someone turn T.I. 'Live Your Life' into something beautiful,unique, and soul stirring I instantly fell in love! Not with him but with his talent. So you guys know me right?! I walked up to the young man introduced myself and proclaimed that he was now my best friend because I was in love!

I later found out this young man was non other than Sam Collier and he was on a mission! A mission of greatness! YES! He can SAAAAAANNNNG! But he's mother than that!

This man is an activist,inspirational speaker, producer, a friend, a brother, a son, and God fearing!

Sam sat me down and started to talk to me about everything he is doing, wants to do, and is planning to do. He introduced me to his NO LOSING movement and gave me another reason to love him. Sam is taking what we were told as kids and applying it to life. Yes, you can be whatever you want to be! Yes, you will succeed! You are a winner! You will not lose!

So I was intrigued. We followed each other on twitter,found each other on facebook, exchanged numbers and he became my new best friend like I said he would.

I downloaded ALL of his music, watched EVERY youtube video he has ever made, and became a super fan!

I support Sam because I believe in what he's doing. To motivate and inspire through song is a gift! But to give dedicate life to making the world better for us all is phenomenal! He often says I inspire him but little does he know I am a new me because of him.

October 16,2012 my friend released 'No Losing Part 3: Watch Me Win'! A collection of songs sure to make you fall in love with music all over again. Music of substance. Classic music. Music that motivates. Music that will stand the test of time!

Phillip Lim as joined the fashion comic craze! His Fall 2012 collection was drawn by John Ostrander and Star Wars artist Jan Duursema in a book called “Kill The Night.”

“A story of duality and metamorphosis, day and night, black and white, love and betrayal. Things are not what they seem. Look again.”

The comic will launch Fashion's Night Out September 6th. Using Facebook Twitter Lim will reveal who the characters are based off! I'm really excited to find out who was the inspiration behind each character and for the launch!!!

When I was 11 yrs old I hadn't reached a point where I understood that simply being me was ok. I struggled with who I was and wanting to be accepted by everyone. I can honestly say that Willow is wise beyond her years! I hope all kids can listen to this song and realize that it is ok to just be you! .. Hell maybe a few adults need to listen a few times.. have it on repeat all day long... Make it the first song you listen to before starting your day! I probably will!!!

Yves Saint Laurent is getting a makeover.
Hedi Slimane, the new creative director of YSL, announced that the brand will be renaming itself Saint Laurent Paris come this fall. The name change is all part of a re-branding plan spearheaded by Slimane, who took his new position in March. Slimane took over for Stefano Pilati, who’d been the fashion house’s creative director since 2004.
The designer plans to use the same font that Yves Saint Laurent himself used when he first launched Saint Laurent Rive Gauche in 1966. A YSL spokesperson told WWD that the “original branding” will be used to restore “the house to its truth, purity, and essence – and taking it into a new era”, while still “respecting the original principles and ideals.”
According to WWD, we can expect to see the new name implemented by the time Slimane’s debut spring/summer 2013 collection arrives in stores.
