The title sounds intriguing huh? I am hooked to Wattpad! When I’m in riding the train, riding the shuttle to McKinley or when I’m off to sleep every morning, I’m reading wattpad stories. Quoting Wikipedia, it’s a “place for readers and writers to discover and share stories.” I unintentionaly downloaded Wattpad App for my itouch one time when I was doing a download-all-free-apps-i-can. And it’s a cool app and cool site, at least for me. You see I love reading? Well, I’ve only started reading novels recently being influenced by my office mates but ever since, I’ve been a fan of reading already. I’m fond of Wattpad as it just fitted my interests with stores. I must say I get attached to the characters of the stories I’m reading.

The most recent that I finished is titled A and D. Authored by fallenbabybubu who is, by the way, a Filipina. It is a story of 2 bestfriends who eventually falls for each other. It’s based from Taylor Swift’s You Belong with Me. The plot is as simple as that. But the thing is, what will be the twists and turns? The story is light. I seriously can imagine the characters and the scenes while reading them. I enjoyed the reading the story. 2Thumps up!

The title is supposed to be A and D(The Review) but I chose to left it with just the title of the story.

Graduation Batch 2012

I was sitting at the upper right seats of PICC’s plenary hall atending my brothrr’s graduation rights. Literally no sleep at all straight from the office. It’s been 2 years and a few months since I’ve been in this same hall. Makes me reminisce those moments when i woke up so early in the morning, frustrated as the make up artist was overly late, and it turned out I wasn’t satisfied with the result, but there were a few of my classmates who teased me of preparing much for this. I asked myself then, are we not supposed to? Actually it’s just my mom who insisted we hire one. Anyways, I remember it was a special one as the one who made the appreciation speech in behalf of the graduates, a summa cum laude, was a deaf. Yes. A deaf. Of course there was translator but sure I remember it made me teary eyed. I also remember the feeling. Seriously, during that time, I wasnt so excited. The kind of excitement that I was supposed to feel since it’s finally graduation. It was a normal feeling, just like what i said in my blog entry before.

As I scanned the hall, i see parents, siblings, and probably other relatives and friends? A lot taking pictures. I can see proud moms and dads. I wonder what that feeling would be. Hehe.

Attending the graduation, it snapped into me that thought of “Hey, I’m a Lasallian. A Benildean.” Lol. I just kind of forgot what that title is supposed to be. And it refreshed me the Lasallian Prayer, I will continue O‘ my God. to do all my actions for the love of You.

Random: Check Up Day

Nakakatuwa makakita ng mga taong kita mo na mahal nila yung trabaho nila.

Kunyari, mga Doktor na very enthusiastic makinig at magdiscuss ng mga mahahalagang bagay na dapat malaman ng mga pasyente nila(parang doctor ng father ko na namee ko kanina, tapos narealize ko ‘to, tapos ninote sa SpringPad ko).

O kahit yung mga cashier sa mga convenience store, yung para bang hindi sila pagod at todo smile pa rin sa customer?(parang yung cashier sa MiniStop MMC branch na nakita ko kanina)

Yung mapapansin mo sa outlook nila sa buhay, o kaya sa simpleng paraan ng pagsasalita, pag-ngiti sa customer at kung anu-ano pa.

Parang isang beses, yung doktor na pinapakonsultahan ko nung umabot na ng tatlong linggo e inuubo pa rin ako — matagal pa ata yung pag-antay ko sa pag eksamin sakin. Kanina nag-pacheck up ulit ako(pero ibang doktor naman). Umabot ng limang oras ung pag-aantay para sa wala pang 15 minutes na consultation? Hmmm. Buti nakapag pigil ako, kasi muntik na naman ako umiyak sa pagkabadtrip :S. At ang sakit na ng ulo ko nun! Muntik pa tuloy ako mapa-Sick Leave ng wala sa oras. Buti na lang nirecommend ako for further lab exams. Kesa naman dun nga sa huling doktor na napuntahan ko na niresetahan lang ako ng Bioflu at Robitusin. Tsssk! Sana sa pharmacy na lang ako nagtanong ng gamot no! Buti na lang, worth in naman ang paghihintay.

Tapos ayun, yung feeling na ayaw mong pumunta ng hospital para magpacheck up. Pero dapat magtyaga. At maging maagap. Kasabihan nga, An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure‘. Actually, parang mas maganda nga kung An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure‘.

Other Thoughts: Habang nasa hospital, ang dami tao. Iba’t ibang klase ng tao. Naisip ko ang ung linya na naghihiwalay sa mayayaman at mahihirap. Kalungkot. Naisip ko rin, sa isang mundo na puro mga doktor, pano ka kaya mag-iistand out. May career level din ba sila na parang sa IT? — >super random.

When the inspiration comes

Alam mo yung gusto mo na matulog pero di ka inaantok.
Alam mo yung hirap ka matulog, hirap ka din magising.
Alam mo yung tapos na yung mga kanta sa playlist mo na pampatulog pero gising pa rin yung utak mo at di makatulog.
Alam mo yung tutulog ka na lang, tas dun sasagi yung mga inspirations mong magsulat.

Nagpi-pray na kasi ako. Nagpapasalamat kay Lord sa lahat ng mga blessings.
Tapos naalala ko yung mga dapat gawin sa office – meeting agenda, tickets, mga tao, etc (side effect ng work)
At syempre, hindi ko rin maiwasan ievaluate yung sarili ko. Kung iisipin, nasa mindset lang talaga ng tao kung pano nya ittreat ang mga nangyayari sa kanya personally.
Parang yung biglang promotion. Bibigyan ka ng challenging tasks.
Gusto ko na ayaw. But in the end of the day, what happens is I just go with the flow.
Gusto ko to – nilagay ko kaya to sa cdp ko!
Kaso it was too soon. Ang ayaw ko kasi ung na-u-underwork ako para sa position na binigay sakin?? Yung hindi ko nagagawa ang mga expectations sakin. Buti na lang at least – SE pa lang ako. At least i have a last resort to use as my defense mechanism.
Siguro ayaw ko lang din na masyado pinupuri? Kasi nga feling ko i underwork para sa ganung position. Haay. Mejo complicated – or ako lang nagpapacomplicate?
Even the people around me. Always feel awkward. I never initiate greeting. Nakadikit pa rin sa katawan ko ang pagiging anti social snob ko? Id be very friendly kung babatin mo ko, pero yung ako ang unang babati! Still working on it.
Mixed emotions. Mixed feelings.
And the art of saying no! Kelan kaya kita mamamaster? Why cant i just say no on things? Siguro kasi madalas half hearted ako?! Naman!

So ayun nga. Medyo madaming nagyayari sa buhay ko. Ang dami ko gusto gawin – spend more time with my family, start new endeavors – kaso naman! Ang sabado ko ay nauuwi sa tulog at gala. I need a guide. A pusher. A mentor. A confidante. Baka magising na lang ako na 25 na ako at hindi ko pa rin nagagaaa ang mga gusto kong gawin. Ang mga dapat gawin.

I appreciate this life – a colorful life. But, as they say, the great challenge of life is to decide what’s important… and to disregard everything else.

Kaya ang hirap matulog – ganyan kadami pa yung naaisip kapag nakapikit na ang mata mo.

I got home early today because my cabmate is going home to Samar this 4:00AM morning. And since my bed doesn’t call me yet for sleep, I think I’ll be starting this 100 things that happened to me this year…

I spent a weekend at Bora with officemates.
First time being left by a plane.
After 3 weeks, I went to Cebu to chill, hotel check in, sky adventure and tour galore.
We went to Marinduque without prior plans on a Holy Week season.
This year was the most frequent already in my lifetime – 2 for the win – visit of myself to Marinduque – my mom’s mother died.
The first time I attended a burial.
The De Leon Clan celebrated a Thanksgiving for my Lolo’s survival against stroke.
This year is my most inactive year in blogging.
This year was the go live of the new KKBMovement.org’s site.
This year was when blogs.kkbmovement.org was launched.
This year was when I got promoted to a Senior Programmer. But please note that I am not a programmer. I am a Support Analyst. :)
I experienced my first camping experience at Anawangin.
Watched Planetshakers Live.
I had my two impacted wisdom teeth extracted.
I got shingles!
Experienced Hot Air Balloon Festival at Clark Pampanga.
Finally experienced reunion with Highschool classmates. Mabuti pa ang biglaan, natutuloy. Ang planado, hindi.

Papaabutin ko sana January 14 ito. Para sana saktong anim na buwan. 6 months? 6 months na pala yun. O hindi ba dapat, 6 months na pala yun!

Sobrang dami lang nangyayari. Eh sa kagolfishan ko, for sure, hindi ko maaalala lahat. Ang tanong, kelangan ba maalala lahat?

Decisions. Consequences. Current situations. Gustuhin ko man huminigi ng counsel ngayon, parang maguguluhan at maiinis lang sya sakin kasi for sure magiging malabo akong kausap.

Buti na lang nakaget over na ko sa Student turned Employee este Professional ko.

Yun lang. Naiisip ko talaga, para bang nagiging ibang tao na ko. LOL. Some aspects for the better, but some things for the worse.

Halo Halo. Akalain mo yun? Work pa lang, super pre-occupied na utak ko.

Hayy Accenture. I always think of you. 1 moment I’m engaged and inspired. 1 moment I’m not. And it runs a full cycle, eh? Have actually run several cycles already!

And maybe if I could blog them all. I’ll be ok. Because on times like these, I could just read them.. and make myself feel better.

I follow a lot of famous personalities in twitter. Local Celebrities, Hollywood stars, Newscasters, Christian Leaders. Reasons?

Imagine how the world of social media and web 2.0 has changed the means and ways of communication and interaction.

Before, people sends fan mails via snail mails but now, you are just one tweet (or click) away from these people.

I’ve stumbled upon @RealDonitaRose tweet.

Of course, my natural tendency is to check out their twitter pages. The next thing I know, I’m visiting these celebrities personal websites.

My initial reaction was, “wow, they are actually also into this, personal portfolios and building online fan based communities”.

Going back to my personal reasons why I follow a lot of people in twitter, it’s because that’s why there is twitter. I’m an information producer but I am also an online information consumer.

My office mate once asked me if I have a twitter. I said “yes, and you should have one!” He had that look in the face which I sensed as “what will I get if I have a twitter”. I’m an online information consumer and I follow tv anchors and newscasters because they tweet relevant and up to date news. I get to know if there’s heavy traffic somewhere or classes have been cancelled due to a storm that just landed Philippine territories. I got to know that Bin Laden was officially announced as dead and that it was UAAP 74th season’s opening today(Twitter Trending Worldwide).

I follow Christian leaders because it gives me inspiration.

I follow celebrities, mostly Christians, because I want to know them. I follow people to get to know them. I get to know different people’s thoughts on different things. I’m saying that social networks such as twitter is not the only way, but it is ONE way. I heard once that “You are who you post in Facebook.” And it would be the same with all the rest of the social networks. You are who you post in twitter. Now this is self-explanatory.
