Christopher J Goodson, Esq., a speaker and real estate investment expert, has a legal practice in Montclair, New Jersey.  As an attorney and a previous branch manager of a mortgage net-branch, Mr. Goodson provides his real estate clients with valuable counsel on how to structure and finance sophisticated real estate transactions.

Mr. Goodson has been practicing law in New Jersey and New York since 1998.  His practice has shifted from represeting lending institution during his time with Otterbourg Seindler Houston & Rosen in Manhattan and Day Pitney in Morristown to representing investors in his current private practice.

Mr. Goodson is a frequent speaker on real estate investing and real estate industry issues.  He has conducted a variety of seminars and lectures at Seton Hall University and Bergen Community College, as well as with several real estate investment education groups.  In addition, Mr. Goodson has also been featured as a real estate expert on New York television news programs commenting on the recent mortgage meltdown and $700 billion U.S. bailout plan.

Steve Moran with be on hand to discuss the new Roth IRA Guidelines for 2010 and how investors can use them to secure more tax free savings opportunities. 

Steve Moran is a Business Development Consultant for Entrust Northeast LLC, based in Verona,NJ, which concentrates on servicing the New York City, Central and Northern NJ and Connecticut Metropolitan area.  Steve has an extensive reputation for delivering high quality service to all clients.

Prior to joining Entrust Northeast, Steve worked for more than 23 years in the accounting and finance field.  His resume is impressive.  He has held positions such as: Public Accountant for one of the largest accounting firms in the nation; Corporate Controller for a large-scale Fashion Company; Executive Learning Specialist and trainer in Accounting, Finance and Business Planning at several large scale firms including Prudential, AT&T and successful mortgage origination teams in New York City, the Appel/Moran Team.

December’s theme is “Generosity Leads To Prosperity”

We are going to ask for everyone’s generosity during this Holiday Season to help one of our very own LIREIA members. As some of you may or may not know, without giving too much personal information, Vince Caliendo, a dedicated LIREIA member as well as a great volunteer at our meetings (he always greets you at the door with a smile and a stamp on your hand) suffered a stroke a few weeks ago resulting from a brain aneurism and is in the hospital. Although today he is doing better, he has a long recovery ahead.  Last meeting Melissa had announced that December’s theme would be “Generosity Leads to Prosperity”   and had a charity in mind, has now changed it to benefit Vince.

We have requested that each of our Business Associate members donate a (or a few) gift basket(s) so we can raffle and the proceeds for any raffles will go to Vince and his family as he has 2 young children.

Melissa has also opened this up to any member who would like to donate a gift basket or gift certificate.    We have received some very generous donations for our raffles. We will also have a 50/50 so come and network and win some wonderful prizes!
