Gather the family ’round the table for dinner with easy favorites like Cayenne Fried Chicken, BBQ Pork Ribs and Grandma’s Buttery Mashed Potatoes. There’s no better way to top off a hearty farmhouse dinner than with a luscious dessert…how about a big slice of Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie or Root Beer Cake? There is also a canning chapter in 101 Farmhouse Favorites, with great recipes that let you store away a little bit of summer to enjoy all year long. You’re sure to love Garlic Dill Pickles, Mom’s Peach Butter and Our Favorite Salsa.

Like all of Gooseberry Farms cookbooks, this one does not disappoint. I love how easy everything is to make and how they use ingredients that are easily found. We just had this for dinner:

Remember Zingers? The delicious cake, either chocolate or yellow, with a thick layer of frosting and a gooey cream center… that’s what Weight Watchers Red Velvet Crème Cake snacks taste like. These tiny cakes are amazing-a rich red velvet cake with a cream cheese center and a thick layer of frosting. These Weight Watchers snack cakes are only 90 calories and 3 grams of fat per cake and have 4 grams of fiber. They may be tiny, but they have enough flavor to satisfy your sweet tooth without sacrificing calories. Of course because they are cake, my kids had to try them….and they love them! I had to pry the box out of their little hands. So if you love red velvet or remember and loved Zingers, you will love these Weight Watchers Red Velvet Crème Cakes.

These chips are made with quality ingredients like stone ground corn and 16g whole grain per serving. Baked Naturals Tortilla Chips contain 43 percent less fat than the leading tortilla chip (4.5g total fat/28g serving compared to 8g total fat/28g serving).

Now, I’ve got a picky household when it comes to healthy stuff. My husband tends to not usually the baked chips and a lot of the time I have to agree. However, Pepperidge Farm hit the nail on the head with these chips. I never even got to try the Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips! My kids and my husband ate them before I got a chance! I had to hide the Simply Tortilla chips, so I could try them! You know you’ve got good chips when you have to hide them so you can try them! This is one of the few things that I have reviewed that my husband has begged that I get more of! I love the Simply Tortilla Chips. I love that when I chip craving that I can have these and not feel guilty about it! They taste great too!

Gluten-Free Tortilla Chips from Pepperidge Farm are a great-tasting, wholesome addition to any house!
