The nominations for the 7 Wonders of Guysborough County are in and it’s time to vote! Help our Nova Scotia resort house specialty, Planked Atlantic Salmon win the Cuisine Category. We are currently in the top three!

Our Maritime specialty, Planked Atlantic Salmon, is prepared in a traditional Nova Scotia way and is always a hit at Liscombe Lodge. The salmon is planked and slowly cooked to perfection on the smouldering coals of an outdoor fire in full view of diners.

The relaxed atmosphere of our 120-seat Riverside dining room is where traditional and local meals are prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every table has stunning views of the Liscomb River through the floor-to-ceiling wall of windows. While waiting for your traditional Planked Atlantic Salmon, you can watch it being cooked just steps away from your plate.

Our Dogs Gone Wild Weekend at Liscombe Lodge is this June 22^nd – 24^th and it is revolved around you and your dog.  This fun-filled weekend includes sessions on pet etiquette, pet photography, good nutrition tips, doggie Olympics, agility courses, guided hikes and more!

The Dogs Gone Wild includes two-night Nova Scotia accommodations with breakfast each morning and a meet and greet reception on Friday night. There will also be a dance with a silent auction in support of the Antigonish SPCA on Saturday night!
