Today Media Molecule confirmed that they are indeed making a sequal to LittleBigPlanet. The great news is; however, that it will be fully backwards compatible with the DLC that you've already purchashed as well as levels made in LBP! Look out Monday for a huge update from MM.

LittleBigPodcast is planning on having a megasode Monday as well, so look out for that.

Location Field

A new field has been added to the catalogue section to help you find the assets that you don't have in-game.

Use this new feature to pin-point the exact level of the missing asset. You can also search by location to see all the assets that a particular level contains.

[UPDATE] The Pirates of the Caribbean pack's locations have been completed.

Just a note for those who purchased the limited edition PSP launch day t-shirt and are in Europe. It seems the codes have not been sent out for your region as of yet.

I suggest that everyone who wishes to receive redeem codes (may include beta invites etc.) to double check their notification settings.

To check your notification settings:

Log into your PSN account on your PS3

Go to the 'Playstation Network' section

Open up 'Account Management'

Enter 'Notification Preferences'

Hidden Materials & Tutorials

New Materials

I have added some hidden materials to the material catalogue. All hidden materials will have a theme of 'Hidden' so they're easy to find.

To get these materials you can view LBPmedia's video tutorial here. To make these materials editable however, requires a neat work around. Napero7 from LBPCentral explains it best here.

I have just added level comments to the site.

This is all apart of a redesign of the level directory, so expect more improvements to come soon! Be sure to submit your own levels so we can start filling out the level directory with some quality work!

Also, I will be releasing two new catalogues, the sackboy costume and skins catalogue. Be sure to check them out this Saturday!
