They said customer is the life of every business. There will no business if there are no customers. That is why business owners value their customers and would also make sure that they are providing them excellent customer experience. But how come some people are forgetting about the value of their customers? I know this is a minor thing for you guys and I don’t know what you will do if this happens to you. I went to a grocery store last week it was about 10AM in the morning because I want to buy some food for lunch. As what customers usually do, I tried to find a cashier who doesn’t have much customer. I found one “senior citizen priority lane” but it doesn’t mean that they are only assisting senior citizens but it means that they prioritize senior citizens on that lane. Me and my boyfriend went on that cashier and the clerk on that cashier asked us “Ma’am, Sir Seniors po kayo?” and then I said oops sorry sa seniors lang ba talaga to? And she just gave us a sarcastic smile but I didn’t mind it at all so we transferred to another cashier. To my surprise I saw one customer about my age that paid for her groceries at the same cashier where we were asked to move. I’m so upset that I want to talk to that clerk on the cashier but my boyfriend would not let me. I didn’t expect that she can do that to their customers. I hope that she knows what she’s doing and I hope that she change the way she treats her customers because she will bring bad business to the company she’s working for.

Exercise to Flatten My Tummy

I been working hard to flatten my tummy for almost two weeks now and I think I’m starting to feel that my hard work is getting paid off (which means the exercises that I’m doing is working…lol). It’s been almost a month since my officemate told me that I’m gaining weight that is when I started to get conscious about my tummy. I searched for a solution online (thanks to the internet I won’t need to go anywhere else) and I found some exercises that I can do to solve my problem. Help Dead Motherboard?

I haven’t used my desktop for more than a month now and I make me so frustrated. I have done some troubleshooting to identify the issue and it turns out that I have two suspects either the motherboard or the power supply. Here’s what happened, the power supply was busted so I purchased a new one. I replaced the power supply and I noticed that it is not starting up. After I pressed the power button for few times and tried reseating the wires inside my system then it started to load to BIOS screen. But after we used the PC it started to show the same symptom. So I tried cleaning the memory card and tried putting it in the other slot. It worked this time but it happened again the following day. I had to reseat the memory and it worked again. It worked for a few days but I accidentally slightly bumped the CPU and it hanged and showed a bluscreen and it didn’t start again until today. I have a feeling that it could be the motherboard because I can hear the hard drive spinning. Anyone who can share their thoughts will be appreciated.

Nanny McPhee Returns

I watched Nanny McPhee today and I really enjoyed that film. I felt that I was a little girl again because of this film. It is a good film to watch for the whole family. It has everything from moral lessons to comedy and very beautiful scenery (aside from all the mud part of course). It teaches us not to always hope, to share, to say sorry, and to be brave.

SYNOPSIS: Nanny McPhee arrives to help a harried young mother who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war, though she uses her magic to teach the woman's children and their two spoiled cousins five new lessons.

Digital Cable?

Before I replaced my TV to an LCD TV I have the impression that the picture quality would be better using an LCD TV on cable channels because I am using skycable with its digibox. But to my surprise I found out that there is no difference at all. Actually the picture quality is better using the conventional TV than an LCD. Someone told me that using SkyCable’s digibox would not mean that I am using a digital cable and because of that I was so disappointed with them because they told me that picture quality would be better using an LCD TV. Then I saw an ad on a news paper about a new digital cable available and that is CignalTV. I checked out their site and I found out that they have different packages but the channel line up is not as good as SkyCable’s. They have 9 HD channels which is great but they do not have the channels that I am always watching and that is Animax plus the KBS world. I want a superb picture quality but I will have less channel on my TV. I don’t know what to do…. =(

Inception

Inception is really awesome. I like the idea of the film and I found it really unique. Characters are good they all fit to their roles specially Leonardo. This is the film that I believe everyone will be interested to watch because of its story. At first I didn’t know if I should watch it or not because of Angelina’s SALT but I tried to watch it and I must say that it is worth it. No wonder why this movie has been number one on movie charts.

Tekken Movie Review

Watched Tekken last weekend and all I can say is that movie is fine. I mean it is not as good as other movies that are currently out but it is not bad though. It has a story but you can notice that it is a low budgeted film and it has few characters. I think they left Paul which I think is also a popular character of the game. I think if they are considering creating a movie from a video game I believe they should choose the characters that they would want to appear on the film.

I know you guys are excited to know who will be playing the role of Hal Jordan or Green Lantern with all those Superheroes showing up on the big screen. Well Ryan Reynolds starts as Hal Jordan or “Green Lantern”. Hal Jordan is a cocky test pilot who becomes a ring-wearing intergalactic superhero. Green Lantern is scheduled to be out on June 17, 2011. Anime JPOP Singing Contest on July 24th

I am excited to watch the upcoming JPOP Anime Singing Contest in SM North Edsa on July 24, 2010. I’ve wanted to watch this contest since last year but I wasn’t able to attend on last year’s event because I’m so busy at work. I hope there will be lots of good performances on this event and I hope that some of them will sing my favorite anime songs. If you want to attend on the said event it will be held on July 24th (Saturday) at SM Cyberzone Center in SM North Edsa. I am excited even though I’m not one of the participants because I’d love to see how the contestants will perform anime songs.

How to Improve the Picture Quality of you LCD TV

I just bought an LCD TV and to be honest I’m happy with it. But I noticed that the picture quality is not as good as the picture quality of the same model in the mall. Then I tried playing with its picture settings but I don’t want to play with it too much because I don’t want to mess up with it. Then I went to Samsung’s website and there are few tips about their products that are posted and then I read about color calibration. Using color calibration software will help your LCD TV produce best picture quality. There are software that are available such as Spider, Avia, Monster, Calman and more. But if you are in a tight budget and doesn’t want to spend more on software what you can do is to get a DVD that has THX optimizers available on THX certified DVDs or Bluray discs. I tried “Indiana Jones” yesterday and it worked. I noticed an improvement on the picture quality of my LCD TV.

Been a Ginebra Gin Kings basketball team fan for a while now and I’m so happy that they won last night. My friends keep on telling me that ALASKA will win so that Ginebra will be out completely. Well Ginebra fans believe on “Never say die” attitude so even if the team is not doing well they still hoping that the team will be able to win. The team standing is 0-2 before the game last night and everyone is nervous because if they won’t win the game they will be out until the next conference. The team did showed everyone that they have the never say die attitue for they didn't give up on the game. Hope

Today is a special day for everyone here in the Philippines. All the people are focused on the oattaking of the new President of the Philippines. Truly President Noynoys inoguration is an especial event because all of the powerful person in our country are united to witness that event. I hope that all the things that he mentioned during his speech will be implemented and that all his cabinet members will always believe and support him in all the things that he wishes to accomplish. I am not into politics I never gave any attention to whatever is happening in our goverment because I thought that it has nothing to do with me. However, as I get more mature I am starting to learn the importance to having a good goverment and the importance of being a good citizen. Congratulations to our new President.

Twilight Craze

Twilight Exclipse is coming up and everyone is going crazy about it. Been sing video clips of people excited to watch the film and they’ve would up stayed in front of theaters for few days just to be one of the first people to watch this film. Not a big fan of the Twilight but the movie is okay. I must say that the cast of this film are beautiful and most of the people I know loves Jacob because of his good looks and hot body.

Few weeks ago I posted that there is news that Megan Fox will not be returning to Transformers 3. That is confirmed but what I am thinking back then is who will replace Megan? I have read in MSN that that Rosie Huntington-Whitely replaced Megan Fox as Shia LaBeouf's love interest in the third installment of the Transformers. They also posted some pictures on the set of Transformers 3. Now I’m quite excited to see how well Rosie Huntington-Whitely will play the role of Mikaela Banes.

Super Sentai!

I have been visiting Youtube often lately because I enjoyed watching Super Sentai. Super Sentai is a concert whose performers are those who also sung the theme song of Super Sentai shows in Japan. Super Sentai is pertaining to “Superhero Teams” in Japan that was really popular to kids back then. I am a fan of Japanese anime and that is why I enjoyed this kind of music (if you guys are thinking why I’m listening to Super Sentai music). I just watched Horie Mitsuko performed Voltes V no Uta which is used as a theme in Voltes V series. But what I really liked is Takayuki Miyauchi’s performance. He is the one who sung Bioman’s opening and ending theme. I watched Bioman when I was a little girl and I used to think that I am Pink 5 (lol) I am searching for other live performances in YouTube and maybe I can find other songs that I might like. I have posted the video clips of the performance that I’ve mentioned below that way I can share it with all of you. Yes, the movie scream will have another sequel which will be released next year (2011). Neve Campbell is back on the film as of course Sidney Prescott, as well as David Arquette, and Courteney Cox. I’ve been a fan of Scream since the first film and I’d say I’m quite excited that this kind of film is back. What I mean is that the horror/suspense thriller films in the 90s is different from the films that was released lately. Hayden Panettiere will be joining the cast ast Kirby Reed as well as Lake Bell as Judy Hicks. I can’t post any trailer yet because they will start filming on June 28th based on what I’ve read online about the film. Scream 4’s director will be Wes Craven (Vampire in Brooklyn, The Hills have Eyes, A Nightmare on Elm Street). I just watched Scream 1 and Scream 2 in StarMovies the other day and I was really excited when I’ve heard that they will be releasing a new sequel. I am sure that this film will be as good as the previous films and I am sure that this will be another hit. I can’t wait to watch this film. I’ll post its trailer and other information once it is available.

Die in a Violent Death Movie Review

Watched Die in a Violent Death today and all I can say is it is pretty confusing. The movie has a different concept than the other Thai horror movies but I guess the old concept is way better than this one. The movie consists of four different stories and each one is at least related to the first story. It is the same as Phobia which has four stories but Phobia is better than this one. The fourth story is pretty funny though. At least I got to enjoy it for quite a bit. I just wish that they would produce a really scary movie like The Shutter and Alone. The trailer of this film is really good that is why I decided to watch it aside from the fact that I love horror movies. I like Thai horror movies but I think the horror movies that they are producing lately is not as good as the previous movies that they’ve released.

My nephews and I went to SM North Edsa today because I promised Kevin (my nephew) that I will buy him a BEN 10 bag. They had a great time shopping school supplies and we also went to toy stores to buy them few toys. I asked them where they want to eat and since they are kids they responded McDonalds or Jollibee but we ended up in KFC. We ate in KFC because I wanted to eat pasta bowl creamy tomato. It is so delicious because it is very creamy and I like its smell too. I love to eat pasta but I only eat spaghetti and baked macaroni. However, when my friend asked me to try KFC’s pasta bowl I became a fan of it instantly. I think my nephews liked it too.

Missing Daddy on Father's Day

Today is fathers day and I miss my dad. My dad died thirteen years ago and I was thirteen years old too when he died. I always think of him whenever we have a problem because I think we won’t have any problem at least if he’s with us. He’s a good daddy as far as I remember he always spend time to his kids. We would always go to church and straight to the mall every Sunday. My mom cried so much on the day that my father died and I can’t help but feel sad because my mom is the only one left to take care of us. My dad is a proud dad. He would always boast to his friends on how well we do in our studies and how beautiful his kids are. My dad works so hard for us and thinking about it now I feel sad because he was not able to see us grow and I am unable to pay him back for what he’s done for us. Migraine?

I am so stressed today because most of my agents are getting failing grades on their quality monitoring. I can’t focus on work because of my headache then it hits me that maybe I have a migraine. I tried searching for information about migraine because I really don’t want to have one (nobody does). Migraine is a throbbing headache and it is usually on one side of the head. It gets worse by light and noise. It usually affects people 18 and older. I’ve read that the most common causes of migraine are heat, blinking light, hunger, tension and stress, alcohol, cheese (mozzarella) which I really love =(, too much or lack of intake of Caffeine, insomnia, change in sleep pattern, over sleeping, lack of sleeping, and hard pillow. With all the causes that I’ve mentioned I believe that we can never tell what exactly the cause of our migraine is unless we track what exactly happened before the migraine attack. Of course, we need to take medication once we experience migraine and I’ve also read that a patient should close his/her eyes and lie down in a dark and quiet room. Common drug used are regular analgesics available over the counter like Tylenol, Aspirin or ibuprofen (Advil). Herbs such as Ginkgo and Feverfew also help in lowering the intensity of the pain.

200 Pound Beauty My All Time Favorite Comedy Film

Watching Leap Year yesterday makes me feel like I’m in a mood to watch another romantic comedy film. Here’s another romantic comedy film that I’ve watched that I really recommend that you watch in case you haven’t watched it yet. The title of the film is “200 Pound Beauty”. It is a South Korean film and it is about a 200 pound woman who went to total make-over (surgery) in order to change herself for the love of her life. She is a lipsync vocalist for Amy. Amy is sexy but she does not have the talent to sing. This movie is really funny and it will also make you cry. My friends usually does not watch this kind of film but they really liked this one and some of them bought a DVD for themselves. This movie shows us that outer beauty is not enough and a person needs confidence to love his/herself because each of us is beautiful. I love the theme song of this film even if I do not understand Korean. I even bought a copy of its soundtrack in YesAsia because it is not available here. Another Good Romantic Comedy Movie "Leap Year"

Watched Leap Year yesterday and I really fell in love with that movie. I love the setting of the film (Ireland) because it doesn't only focus on the character but on the beautiful places in Ireland as well. You can say that the film is the typical romantic comedy film but I like all the characters in the film I think they are all funny especially the old folks at the bar (lol). Leap Year tells the story about a woman who went to Ireland from Boston to propose to her boyfriend following the Irish tradition where a woman can propose to her boyfriend every leap year (February 29th). I didn't know that there is such a tradition but I think it is pretty cool and unique. I think those women who can propose to her boyfriend is a brave woman and that woman is really in love. I suggest that you watch this movie if you are in a mood to watch movie which would make you feel in love.

My Dog has Fleas

It is my off today so I woke up early to walk my two dogs Wilma and Potchie. I love to walk my dogs. When we got back from walking I noticed something (something small walking on Potchi’s back) and my mom told me that it is a flea. I am really concerned about my dogs because I heard bad things about dogs infested with fleas. I don’t really don’t know what to do so I tried searching for a solution. Well I’ve read few things online but I’m not so sure whether it will really help remove the fleas from my dogs. They said giving your dog a bath and lathering him up with shampoo will send a lot of fleas down the drain which means I have find a flea shampoo to help me with my problem. I also read that I can use a fine-toothed flea comb once a day and drown the fleas by submerging the comb in a hot soapy water. I can also use a flea collar. I will also need to clean my house to make sure that fleas wont’s spread out. I guess it is hard for dogs to avoid fleas because I always wash my dog.

Resident Evil: Afterlife

Been a big fan of Resident Evil game ever since it was released. I think that is a pretty cool video game and really scary. I remember back then I cannot play that game if nobody is with me because I’m stoo scared it play it. I was so excited before when I heard that it will be shown in the big screen. Mila Jovovich did a good job playing the role of Alice and I’m quite disappointed because Michelle Rodriguez died on the first film. I love Michelle Rodriguez because she looks like a real tough girl. The second resident evil movie is also great but I don’t think the third movie is as good as the second and first resident evil film.

Now that a new Resident Evil film is set to release on the big screen on September. I am hoping that it will be as good as the first and second film or even better. Resident Evil:Afterlife will be opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters. Of course the lead star is still Mila Jovovich. She will be joined by Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Shawn Roberts, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, Wentworth Miller and Sienna Guillory.
