INDIANAPOLIS - Hundreds of people were evacuated from an airport early Friday after a person brought an urn to the airport, a spokeswoman said.
Officials believed the urn contained cremated remains, but police and airport security wanted to check as a safety precaution, Indianapolis International Airport spokeswoman Susan Sullivan said.

Calls seeking comment were left with the TSA.

The evacuation caused up to 500 people to leave two terminals, Sullivan said. It was not immediately clear how many flights were affected because of the evacuation.

Items confiscated from the car carrying Youssef Megahed and Ahmed Mohamed, who were arrested in Goose Creek on Aug. 4 and charged with violating explosives laws:

Three pieces of PVC piping that were filled with a mixture of potassium nitrate, corn syrup and cat box litter.

An electric drill, a box of .22-caliber cartridges, a five-gallon container partially filled with gasoline and 23 feet of safety fuse.

The police also found a video narrated by one of the terrorists showing other terrorists how to turn a remote controlled car or boat into a remote-controlled detonator! The terrorists had even posted the video on YouTube. Since YouTube doesn't have an overtly patriotic logo, they are obviously pro-terrorist sympathizers.

NEW YORK, 20 (UPI) -- U.S. scientists said adult stem cells found in human testicles might be used in place of controversial embryonic stem cells to help fight diseases.

Weill Cornell Medical College researchers used spermatogonial progenitor stem cells, or SPCs, obtained from mice testes to form so-called multi-potent adult spermatogonial-derived stem cells. Those cells developed into endothelial cells and tissue, as well as cardiac cells, brain cells and a variety of other cell types.

Prior research used genetic manipulation to reprogram adult cells derived from connective tissue to acquire stem-cell potential, differentiating into various organ-specific tissues, the scientists said. However, that reprogramming method -- called "induced pluripotency" -- carried an increased risk of transforming into malignant cells.

"Some hurdles remain … nevertheless, it appears that these unique specialized spermatogonial cells could be an easily obtained and manipulated[emphasis added.. ed.] source of stem cells with exactly the same capability to form new tissues that we see in embryonic stem cells," said senior study author Dr. Shahin Rafii.
