It's almost the weekend. I have to get my but in gear with my cards. I have a Baby Shower card and sympathy card that I need for the weekend....fingers crossed I get them done in time. I know I said I would have some scrapbooking pages uploaded for you today but I have pictures of my nephews on the pages that I'd just like to blur out and first need to figure out how to do that first and then I'll post them.

On to today's project. I think I've made more Valentine's cards in the past few days then I ever have. lol I've made 2 designs and completed 10 cards in each design. This is the first one I did. I think she is just adorable and I'm really happy the way it turned out. I am also loving the red glitter paper from the mini catalogue. The colouring doesn't come out in the picture as nicely as in person but it still looks good. Hope you like, leave a comment to let me know what you think.

Hello Friends,

I have been working hard in my craft room the past month. My stamping new years resolution for this year is to be more organized. Which means planning ahead. I've already planned out for the year classes I'd like to teach, projects I will be selling at a craft show as well as some of my projects we'll be doing in my monthly club. With this I hope to be a better blogger so wish me luck!

Today's project I'm sharing was one of the last Christmas cards I made last year and I thought that I would share it with you. Tomorrow I will be sharing some Christmas scrapbook pages that we made in a class over the holidays and then I'll be moving on to some Valentine's projects. This card was pretty easy and quick to put together once I cut the dove out. I made 10 of theses cards in and evening. When I'm making my Christmas cards I like to make 10 of them at a time.

Happy Halloween! I can hardly wait to see my 3 nephews and niece in their Halloween costumes later today. I think the best part about Halloween is the kids.

This is the banner that we made a my Halloween class a couple weeks ago. It was a lot of fun and I think all the ladies loved the projects we made...and of course the chocolate! I got the idea from Kimberly Van Diepen's blog. She is absolutely inspiring and you should definitely check out her blog. Each participant in the class did something different with their banner and I'm happy to report that I've been to my parents house and my mom has her banner already hanging by the fire place. The designer paper used is Wicked Fun and the stamp sets were Wicked Cool and Dark & Dreary. I hope you like and thanks for checking in

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

My Christmas Stamp-a-Stack is a little over a week away. I'm giving you a preview of 3 of the 4 projects that we'll be working on. Halloween Decorations

How cute are these? I made a couple of these over the weekend. I'm waiting for an order to come in on Wednesday to make a few more. Hey There,

What a chilly Sunday. A good day to stay inside curled up on the couch sipping hot chocolate or if your like me, it's a good day to lock yourself in your craft room with some tea. Today I'm working on getting some ideas together for a Halloween class and a Christmas one so stay tuned for those.

Today's card is using some retired DSP that I'm trying to use up. I love this stamp set Winter Post. I've made 10 of these cards for my Aunt's Open House craft sale that she holds every November. Swap Card

Good afternoon friends,

Last Saturday I spent the day in Hamilton at the Stampin Up Regionals. It was so much fun. We did 6 make n' takes and actually finished making them all. 2 years ago at the last one I was at my upline Tammy and I didn't finish all of them so we were quite proud of ourselves this year. There was also another exciting surprise, the CEO Shelli Gardner herself was there. It was like seeing a celebrity.

This was the swap card that I made for the event. I used the same stamp set I showed you yesterday. I made 40 of these cards, 30 to swap and then 10 for a craft sale I will be in. I think it could use some sparkle, what do you think? Thanks for checking in.

Hello Stampers,

Have you picked out your costume? One of my nephews told me that he's going to be something spooky and we he was asked if that meant he was going to be a ghost he said ''no, I'm going to be something spooky". I thought it was cute.

Well, before I start my little blitz of Christmas cards I thought that I should post my little Halloween card that I made. I just adore this stamp set. It's a lot of fun to colour with. I hope to do more Halloween projects with it before October 31st.

The Gift

Hello Friends,

I told ya I'd be back....did you believe me? This is the project with did just on Friday. I love stamping on candles and it's a great gift that you could give to someone at any holiday or occassion. As you can see if the picture with all projects we made for this gift pack that it all co-ordinates together. Another thing you could do is stamp on some tissue paper and put that in the gift bag to cover the gift. I'm pretty sure that Friends 24-7 is my favourite stamp set and it's funny because on Saturday when I was at the Hamilton reginals I was asked what my favourite stamp set was and I drew a blank but I use this one a lot and find it to be so versatile. Anyway, I hope you like and please share your comments.

Good evening Friends,

I truly am sorry that it's been a month since my last post. I have been working hard on projects and have my picutres ready for further posts. This was Augusts project for my club. It's a decorated gift bag to go along with with card and gift tag that I posted last month. I had seen different roses out of paper from different blogs and tried to find the easiest one to do in a class. This is the one that I decided to show my club girls how to make. All you need is the ornament punch, sticky strip and a stylus. The ornament punch is used for the petals, and to make it look more like a rose I sponged around all the edges. You have to punch out 18 petals to make one rose. It's pretty quick to put together once you have all the petals punched out. Let me know what you think, the girls enjoyed the project.

What a busy weekend. I don't think I've had a weekend this summer where something wasn't going on. I much rather it that way though to be honest, although my house wishes I would take a day off to clean it. lol

I was checking out some blogs those other day and came across one that said to try using the Glossy White cardstock instead of watercolour paper to watercolour with. I thought that was a different idea and gave it a shot. I really like how bright the image comes out on the glossy white cardstock in comparison to the watercolour paper. Give a try to see what you think. This is a level 1 hostess set and I just love it. There are so many colour options you could do with this set and I'm sure I'll have more examples to show you soon.

Sunny Weekend

Good Morning Friends,

I had started this post on Friday morning and then I just kept getting interrupted. It's been a busy weekend so far and it doesn't stop here as we have a wedding to go to this afternoon and I still have a bunch of thigs to do before we leave. So, before I do anything else I wanted to share with you July's club meeting project. This is a matching card and gift tag. Next month we will work on a gift bag and gift to go along with it. I wanted to show my girls the different ways to use the stampin around wheels. On the card we used three different coloured markers. It takes a little time and patience but makes the card look lovely. Also, I got this colour combonation for the very helpful colour coach. If you are ever stuck it's a really helpful tool. I always joke with my boyfriend that he should sit down with me and make a card. Well, last night he finally did. He helped me make these 2 cards. He wasn't happy with a part of his so he covered it up before taking the picture. I thought he did such a great job and want him to learn watercolouring but he says that he'll get better at it then me and I'd get upset. Isn't he funny. It finally rained

Hello Friends,

We've had a bit of a heat wave here in London for over a week. It's been killing amy garden. Well yesterday it finally rained and for a while. I'm hoping that some of the plants that are one their last leg will bounch back. My mom helped me with my garden as I do not have a green thumb and I promised her I wouldn't let all our hard work go to waste. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

On to today's project. This is a two page layout that I created for one of our meetings. I wanted to show my members that you can do fun techniques on scrapbook pages, not only cards. This technique is called Emerging Colour. I am really happy with the way this turned out. I took a close up picture for a better look. Let me know what you think, I'd love to hear from you. Stampin Up Stencils

Good morning friends,

Have you ever looked through the catalouge and saw something you just weren't sure how to use or only thought of one way to use it? In the past I have showed you how to use the decor stencils with the shimmer paint as well as paste. Here is another example of how to use them with just classic ink. In this example I used two colours, always use a lighter colour in the middle and then get darker as you go out. You could use multiple colours if you like. To add a little extra to layout, I used texture on the double mat. I took small scizzors and shaved around all the edges, I did the same on the circle punches. Hope you like and thanks for looking.

I probably only make them a few times a year as I find it so much easier to make pretty things. lol This was the other project we made at the last club meeting. This was for Father's Day. It's more about the folds for the tie, and that was more of the difficult part to figure out....even with directions. I looked at a couple different examples I found on the web. I'm not completely excited about it but I know my dad liked it.

My apologies for it being over 3 months since my last post. I had misplaced my camera for a while and was unable to take pictures of my projects. I have been working on lots and I have received my new goodies and will be working on new projects shortly. So many new and exciting things in the new catalogue. On to the project. This is a scrapbook page that I made for my May club meeting. I used the Smooch Spritz on 12x12 piece of Kraft cardstock. I also spritzed it on the pink pirouette flowers. I think that it makes it pretty. This is a very simple and elagant page that anyone could create.

Easter Basket

Good Morning!

Easter is a couple weeks away and with that I've started to make some paper Easter baskets out of the scallop envelope die for the big shot. These baskets are quiet quick and easy to make. Just cut out 4 envelopes and attach them together at the sides. If you are careful you should be able to get 4 cut out of 1 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. The insides are bought but you could make them yourself with a crimper. I haven't filled them it with chocolate yet because if I bought the easter eggs now there wouldn't be any left by the time Easter is here. Thanks for stopping by!

I've been trying to find some inspiration. I went through some old pictures to scrapbook and found that I have a butnch of Christmas photos that I have done anything with yet. This is a 2 page layout that I created for some of them. I used the decor stencils for the main background. I really like using the stencils on cards and scrapbook pages. Gives it a different look. Another beautiful day here in London. I'm really hoping that this means that spring will really be here before we know it. I thought this card was an appropriate posting for today. This is the other easel card that I made. I cased the colouring of the hummingbird from here. I love the tempting terquoise on the bird's belly. Also, I just can't get enough of this Sweet Pea DSP. So many different designs and colours in one pack. No matter what colour of card stock you have you'll be able to find a DSP sheet that will co-ordinate in this pack.

It is a beautiful day in London today, the sun is shining and the temperature is above 0. Who could ask for anything more. Today I'm sharing a card that I made my dad for his 60th birthday. It's an easel card. I've made a couple of those lately and have found that they are easier to make than I thought, the hardest part is deciding the size of the card you want to make.
