A recent picture of myself from NYE. 2011 is going to be AMAZING! Because I said so.

15 interesting facts about me.

1. I have never seen snow. I lived in Florida my whole life, then moved to Georgia (where I swear it snowed but was informed that wasn't "real" snow) and now I live in Hawaii. I'm totally ok with never having to change this fact.

2. I've been the same height since 6th grade. Same shoe size since then too. Sad but true.

3. My dream job is to be a librarian. Ok actually my dream job is to be a millionaires wife but a librarian is a close second.

4. At last count I own over 30 bathing suits. See interesting fact #1 for details.

5. I haven't ridden a bicycle since I was about 8 years old. And I have no intentions of doing so anytime soon.

6. I joined a message board almost 6 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with Mia and I'm still really good friends with a handful of those crazy chicks. And they are some of the best friends a girl could ask for!

7. I only knew my husband for about a month before we got hitched. And NO it was NOT a shotgun wedding. But we did find out about Mia about 2 weeks after we got married. We're on the fast track :)

8. I'm a morning person. I have no problem getting up at 5am and getting all my stuff done for the day. This is usually why I'm in bed by 8:30pm.

9. Green is my favorite color. Its also the color of my eyes.

10. I'm an only child.

11. I didn't learn how to cook till I was 22. And I'm serious. I couldn't even do grilled cheese or scrambled eggs. Now I'm pretty damn domesticated.

12. I've had the same email address and screen name since I was 16.

13. I still love NSYNC. I will be first in line for tickets when they get back together....and they WILL get back together.

14. I always wear a crown on my birthday. Always. (btw my birthday is in exactly 2 weeks. Just in case you don't get the facebook reminder)

15. I own a Snuggie, and love it!

Target! Thats right, Target.

I needed diapers so off I go to the big read bullseye. Right?! I did just walk into Target didnt I? I could've SWORN I drove to Target. I'm pushing a big read cart right????? Ummmmmm....

No wait, this MUST be Walmart. It has to be. Or I'm in the twilight zone. I saw not one, but TWO different people walking around barefoot in Target. And I'm not talking kids, or people holding their shoes in their hands so they can try on a new pair. I'm talking GROWN ASS ADULTS with NO shoes in sight just strolling along in Target.

I'm not judging, I swear.

Disclaimer #1: I've been wearing the same shirt all day that I slept in last night. It has also been used as a tissue and dust rag during the day. See I'm not judging.

Disclaimer #2: I have ZERO problem walking home from the bar barefoot, but thats a whooooooooooole 'nother blog :)

Right?! What better way to reward my daughter for being such a trooper when she had to get cavities filled than with more cavities, I mean cookies.

Here is the kit she picked at Toys R Us.

Have no fear, we survived our 6 inch tsunami (yes, that says 6 INCHES) here in Hawaii. The only problems we face now are trying to eat as many PB&J sandwiches before all the bread that we bought goes bad. Oh and lets not forget the massive amounts of toilet paper everyone in Hawaii now has. Don't piss me off, your house will be next :)

On to bigger problems, my computer is on the fritz. Boo! But my wonderful hubby is working some sort of magic and fixing it. So I thought I'd leave you with a funny little article I found on my friends facebook page. Enjoy!

But I cannot wait to go to my doctors appointment in the morning! And its not
just a regular check up kind of appointment (do adults even still get these??).
Its my girly appointment.

Why am I so eager to get felt up by a little asian man?? Because I have had
the last two days from hell and I'm looking forward to the "alone" time.
Pathetic.

But seriously, a 2 year old with a double ear infection that REFUSES to be out
of my arms for 36 straight hours, a dog that chew my brand new doormat and then
tracks dirt all through my clean house, a crink in my neck that has prevented me
from looking to the right all day, and a 4 year old her informed me her friends
are coming over on Sunday (because Emily is busy on Friday) for a fashion show
and makeovers, is enough to send anyone to their gyno begging for an
appointment.

I'm so sorry I've neglected you all these months. You see, I had to pack up my entire family and move to Hawaii. Its been horrible. All this sunshine, rainbows, beaches, mountains, etc.....you get the point. I mean, I've practically be FORCED to choose between blogging and living in paradise.

What is a girl to do?!? I better go to the beach to clear my head....

I had this big, wonderful, extravagant post planned for yesterday. My one year blogoversary was yesterday. I was going to talk about all the things that have happened in the past year, reflect of some of my older posts, talk about how blogging has enriched my life and made me some new friends......

But of course none of that happened.

Because my sweet baby boy (aka Dennis the Menace), decided it wasn't quite bedtime. So I was going to post about my year of blogging in today's post but decided I'm too tired from staying up way to late with the little man, who also so graciously woke me up at 5am.

So here is a sort of Wordless Wednesday, assuming of course you ignore all these words at the top :)

I am going to post regularly again. I promise.

I just dont know how to keep up anymore. I'm fighting a never ending battle of dishes, toys, and laundry. Not to mention just trying to keep up with two youngins, driving the back and forth from gymnastics, soccer, princess camp (dont ask), the pool, and everything in between. Oh and then I have to do the other things, like eat, shower, sleep. By the time I have a few seconds to myself I cant seem to make myself sit at the computer, or sit anywhere other than the couch. I will try harder I swear!!

So lets see....in 36 days my husband will FINALLY be home after a long long LOOOOOOOOOOOONG year apart. And then in 44 days we are moving to Hawaii :) I know I should be packing or making lists or making phone calls or SOMETHING....but its Sunday so I'm taking the day off, kinda.

Here is my question for today though: If you have to do an 11 hour plane ride with a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old, what would you do?? And benadryl is not an acceptable answer because it makes my son wired, but I will entertain the thought of other child safe sedatives :)

Ketchup. Catsup. Catch-up. Whatever you call it, that's what I'm playing today. Ok seriously, its already Friday?!?! Where did the week go? Not that I'm complaining.

So Cheryl over at The Daily Blonde told me I had been tagged. I went over to her blog and the first thing I see is "Tagging Orgy". Whoa! This will probably be the most action I get till April, I'm in. First she has asked me to share 7 random and weird things about myself. Here we go:

1. I am sitting here right now with dye in my hair. In 25 minutes I will be chocolate velvet once again.
2. I am an adventurous eater. I will try anything once.
3. I didn't learn how to cook till I was 22. Seriously, my skills ranged from mac and cheese to microwave grilled cheese. Sad.
4. My toenails are ALWAYS painted. I feel naked if they're not.
5. I am secretly hoping that NSYNC will get back together and go on tour again. My ass will be the first in line.
6. It is required that I wear a crown on my birthday. All day. Even if I'm just sitting at home.
7. My husband and I have one of the fastest and craziest love stories (this is for another post)

For the second part of the tag she's asking me to tell 6 things that no one knows about me. Crap! I have to come up with 6 more things?!?! Well I'm all for trying.

1. I got kicked out of private school in 2nd grade for beating up a 5th grader. It was a boy too. Don't mess with me!
2. I had braces from 4th grade to 10th grade. You do the math.
3. Both of my children got their middles names from my husband and his twin sister.
4. I secretly like watching Blues Clues.
5. I almost got arrested going into my Junior prom.
6. My first real boyfriends name was Romeo. But a Romeo he was not!

Adrianne Curry is a GENIUS!

Wait. Don't go. Hear me out on this one.

I know those words sound weird together but the girl knows what she's talking about, this time anyway.

For those of you who don't know watch trashy reality TV religiously, let me just fill you in on who Adrianne Curry is. She was the winner from the first season of America's Next Top Model, she was on the Surreal Life, and she is the girl who married the guy from the Brady Bunch (Christopher Knight).'=

Back to her stroke of genius.

One day I was listening to my local radio station and the morning show was talking about blog that Adrianne Curry had written. It was titled, "Why guys should NOT shake after pissing." I was totally intrigued and came home and read the actual blog. Here it is:

"Do you boys really think that shaking your dick after pissing somehow DRIES the pee off of it? Really?? Who started teaching this primitive and disgusting method? I have already told my husband, if we have a son, I am teaching him to wipe the tip. His wife will one day drop to her knees in thanks. The funniest thing about it is, men wonder why girls don't want to give them head! Well, let me tell you why, it's because your dick is nasty. It is because you don't seem to notice the PISS STAINS on your own underwear when you pull em up over your dribbling wee wee!!

The worst part about it is, the fact that while it dribbles, it drips all over toilet seats, floors, etc! Do you guys understand what it feels like to SIT in someone elses piss? How about stepping in it? No? Well, us women do. We experience it in the middle of the night, in the wee hours of the morning, etc! What makes it worse is when the guy is naked, and he has no underwear to absorb the piss leaking out of his wee wee. Then it gets EVERYWHERE!

I love my blog. It is a place that I can get things off my chest so I can feel better in my everyday life. THIS particular subject has been deeply bothering me for quite some time.I finally feel free

Ladies, would you not agree with me? How many of you suffer this with your boyfriends, brothers, friends, or husband?

Gentlemen, what is so hard about ripping off ONE square to wipe the pee off your wee wee, instead of unsuccessfully trying to fling it all over? Isn't it disrespectful to expect a woman to do anything with a wee wee that has dried pee all over it??"

I guess I've never really thought about this subject because a) my husband is so neat and clean, almost to a fault so I've never had to deal with this problem and b) I'm not at the point in raising my son yet. But boy does she have a good point! And the blog is just plain hysterical
