The anime episodes of are each 5 minutes long is based, to say clearly, basically on prejudices. So e.g. the Italy-guy loves pasta more than his life. Funny? Some parts, yes, are funny, but I just can’t eliminate the feeling that I must not laugh at this. To be damn shortly, I can imagine why Korea forbade it. You can watch it, you can laugh, or rather smile a bit, but you must not wait for the episodes to air. It is not worth it.

Sorry for my absence January is final time at my school and I’m finally finished. I’ve decided for winter anime 2008 season I’ll only be reviewing: White Album, Kurokami Animation, and Skip Beat. It’s just because of school and time, if I feel I can take on another serieis I will but for now I’ll be doing those  three, as well as Maria Holic at Panther’s blog. So all together I’m reviewing 4 series which is enough =D. Anyways I’ll be off writing reviews =D currently writing Kurokami review 1.

The first episode of White Album started off really slow, confusing, and somewhat boring but like everyone else on this planet were watching it because of Nana-chan =D So please enjoy and I hope you survive this,lol

Summary

So the episode starts out with Touya the main protagonist having a weird dream that his girlfriend didn’t want to date him anymore because she wants to become famous or is too famous for him. We find out that his girlfriend is actually a idol in real life and her name is Yuki. Touya’s T.V wakes him up, on t.v they are talking about Eiji Ogata who started Ogata’s Productions which is a talent agency. Eiji’s sister, Rina has debuted, and also the newcomer Yuki who appears on T.V and is being interviewed, she is talking about how she considers Rina  a friend more then a teacher.  Touya is watching but realizes it’s late and he late for something so he quickly gets dress and leaves, his thoughts are written out about Yuki: “My Girlfriend, the professional idol”

Touya is on one of the payphones on the street and is yelling into the phone, he hangs up afterward and his thoughts appear: “A man worthy of Yuki! A many not worthy of Yuki! Oh well!” He then walks out,takes the train and heads to University where he runs into Yuki who is happy to see Touya and happy that he saw her on T.V. Yuki’s manger shows up and Yuki quickly goes with her and leaves Touya.

Touya goes into the University building and is looking for jobs when he runs into his two friends. The girl gives him a book that is  of depressing poetry and it’s by Robert Browning.   Touya is confused and the other boy gets mad and turns his back to Touya. Touya remembers and tries to  make light talk about it *I’m guessing he used the book in the past as a pickup line*. The other boy then turns around and starts talking about Robert Brownings and how he so interested in it *the boy knows more then Touya*. As you can see we have already two boys fighting over one girl,hey wait Touya you cheater you already have a girlfriend. The boy asks if he could lend it next, Touya says he can have it right now.

Touya and Misaki *that’s the girl* are sitting down, the boy is on the pay phone. Misaki tells Touya that Yuki is really working hard and tries to come to school whenever she can. Touya asks if Misaki has seen Yuki today and she says no. Apparently Yuki looks up to Misaki. Misaki tells Touya that now that she’s a idol she’s becoming busier and busier and so Touya needs to get a firm hold of her. Touya remembers a part of the dream and Misaki slaps her hand down and asks if he’s listening. He apologizes and the boy gets off the pay phone and comes over to where they’re sitting. The boy says that he is willing to see Touya now. Touya laughs, I guess the boy calls his boss “master”. Misaki heads off to the library and the boy and Touya walks to place called Echoes where Touya’s trying to get a job and  the boy already has a job there.  Touya tells the boy that he should  of gone with Misaki instead of not going and that he would be find on his own. Touya says he does know who the “master” is.

Touya tells the boy that it’s already been five years he should make up his mind on whether he likes her or not. The boy gets mad and tells him he’s going on his own pace. Touya then stuffs the Robert Browning book in his face and tells him to read it and give his impressions on her and to write a report, and Touya’s report.  Touya then states that because of Misaki he gets a lot of credit in highschool. The boy sighs, sits, and says here we go again. Touya starts preaching about his “goddess of the day”.

Touya thinks this is al planned, him waking up late and meeting  Misaki and getting this book it was all f ate and luck. Touya then asks the boy’s opinion. The boy tells him that he’ll be hit by another goddess and a girl on a bike shows up she is Haruka. Haruka asks if Touya wants to go for a walk, he says he can’t because he has to get a job at Echoes. The boy asks Haruka is she wants to play tennis with him, she looks away sad and rushes away. Touya runs after her until she stops.

Touya tells   her not to mind Akira *the boy finally has a name =D*. Haruka said it was because of her that Touya got to see Yuki she then takes off. Akira comes up to Touya and apologizes saying he didn’t think she’d s till be bothered. Touya says she hasn’t touched her racket since his death. Her brother’s death, she lost the most important person in her life. Akira then says it seems like Haruka is getting worse and worse each day. Touya turns around and starts yelling that, that is not true and it’s just taking longer for her to get over her shock.

Touya tells Akira that the Goddess who helped him see Yuki was Haruka. But Yuki is not a Goddess, she is his everyday. Akira asks when he last saw his “everyday”. On the train, Touya tells Akira that Yuki has move and theres no phone connection yet and he doesn’t know where it is. Akira then brings up the possibility that the Production has put a stop between Touya and Yuki.

At the T.V  station a girl called Rina is walking towards a room he sees a bunch of girls in pink who say thank you,thank you.  Rina has a bad feeling and goes into a room where Yuki is and notices that her costume is ruined by a drink stain. The girls in pink had thrown drinks on Yuki’s costume. Rina asks why Yuki didn’t refuse the drink the girls had and Yuki says she couldn’t , Rina yells at the manger saying it’s her fault. Rina asks Yuki if she wants her to tell the producers and Yuki says no she’ll figure something out and Rina should just go do her work. Rina leaves and in the elevator she thinks: “Don’t Give Up Yuki!”.

Touya and Akira are working at Echoes. Theres no customers and Touya is bored and Akira is reading Robert Browning. Touya hears classical music playing and goes int othe boss room to find that the boss is listening to it with headphones and just enjoying it =D Just then Eiji Ogata shows up and talks to the boss for a while, on his way out he thanks the boss and leaves. Touya realizes that is Yuki’s boss and runs after him but he has already left and Yuki is not there. Akira said to give it a rest and tells him we can go now. He then says the master will pay for today even if there was no customers.  Touya says he won’t take it and Akira tells him to ask his dad.

Touya gets on a payphone and phones his dad or step-mom I’m pressuming and tries to make a excuse of why he doesn’t have money but before he can asks for money the other person on the other end hangs up on him.

Rina however is on T.V and singing, Touya is watching at home because he wants to see her girlfriend little does he know that what he’s watching was recorded a while ago and so he doesn’t know about tonight’s problem. She the T.V station films a episode a few days earlier before it airs. Anyways the phone rings and he picks up, it’s Yuki he tells her she was just on T.V and she tells him that they  recorded that last week and tells him to watch next episode. We then get to see that Yuki has he costume torn and paint all over it and her hair is in a 80’s style. That’s right Yuuki decided to make everyone costume unique and that’s how they fixed  tonight’s problem. Then Yuki and  Touya just talk and in Akira’s thoughts he’s thinking: “Yuki…do you want to see me?” Time passes and he thinks: “Yuki…today I had a dream of  you.”

He’s about to tell her this when she says she has to go and hangs up. Beside Yuuki is Rina who asks to see her boyfriend. In Touya’s thoughts he’s yelling ,Yuki,Yuki, My Yuki. Just then the doorbell rings and the episode ends.

Thoughts

The thing that I like about this is the Thought things. How instead of the seiyuu speaking the thoughts they are put on words which makes it more realistic in a way that when we think  our thoughts we don’t hear our voice we just know the wor ds,you get what I mean? I like this fact because it’s realistic but it also gives a effect with the tone and emotions to me this seems like a depressing show at how it’s using it’s tones/emotions. You may think, well no it isn’t! Or it’s Shoujo, shoujo isn’t sad! But you got to remember Shoujo manga is manga that deals with real life connection and tho mostly all shoujo manga have a happy fairy tale ending some don’t. Some go more realistic and show you what really happens in life and how it’s not fair. I don’t think White Album is the most realistic anime ever but I do believe that it can be based on more realistic events then other shoujo animes and in my mind I really don’t see a “happy” ending for this show,lol.

Now the bad points: goes to slow for a first episode, it jumps right into the plot so you have to be paying attention and sometimes *mostly a lot* it gets really confusing. Characters enter really fastly so you have to remember them because it seems they’re a important part of the show even tho you could think they only get small roles. Also some stuff is not explained and that leads to confusion to. The first time I saw this I hated this and really didn’t know if I wanted to review it but it seemed better the second time around. Anyways  I’ll continue reviewing this. =D

Animation: It was nice in some parts and not good in others I guess you could call it average. I enjoy how some of the characters are drawn and the effects and lighting stuff so in overall it’s pretty good, but average.

Music: The opening is nice and the ending is not. I didn’t like the ending. The background music in the episode really fit and match the feelings and mood so it was nice.

Plot/Character Developments: The plot has developed in the fact that Touya feels insecure about Yuki, Yuki is having problems and has become a idol, and Rina seems interested in Yuki’s boyfriend. Haruka lost her brother and  this has affected her greatly she also seems to have feelings for Touya. Akira is in love with Misaki, but can’t tell her. Misaki really is supporting Touya and Yuki but wants them to get a firm hold of their relationship she also seems to have some feelings for Touya. Character Developments happen not that much since the characters are just introduce but their background stories or their personalities are quickly shown.

Overall

Finally Fall Season has ended, except Skip Beat! . I’m proud to present all of you with the first Overall Review for a anime season. This will be the overall thoughts/rating for the whole entire shows of the season. So I’ll be putting up the overall review for: Yozakura Quartet, Vampire Knight Guilty, and Earl and Fairy. I hope you enjoyed and look forward to the Winter 2009 season.

Yozakura Quartet

Overall Thought: Where should I begin, the only show I dropped this season.  First off I found the show to drag on meaning they didn’t get to the point or plot and according to lot of people it ended with us still not knowing the point in the plot so in overall the anime was useless,maybe they should have of waited a few years for the manga to go further. Basically it was all fillers. It was also long and some parts were unbearably long. The Character Development was another thing that made me disappointed. They focused on Hime’s development, and a bit of Akira’s, and small amount of Ao but the rest was like: That’s not important. Even Enjin’s development from Gin to Enjin was never shown. They showed Gin as a friend with Akira and Hime but that was pretty much it. Kotha got some development from child to teenage but not much, I found this sad and made me feel as tho a certain portion of the characters were missing to make them seem realistically as the characters portrayed. Animation started to lack after awhile and some of it’s mistakes were pretty obvious. I enjoyed the animation at first but started to hate it after it became obvious that it was starting to look bad or not “right”.  The Music was the only thing that really was good the opening and ending were catchy and I couldn’t wait to here them,  I rather hear that then the whole episode. The opening and Ending were perfect and so was the insert music but sometimes the insert music really didn’t fit in the scene. Overall I didn’t like this and if your looking for a show with action pack heroes, a slow paste show, and doesn’t solve the ending then this is definitely your cup of tea, if not well then you’ll have to look somewhere else. Here’s the overall view:

Earl And Fairy

Overall Thought: Probably the best series I reviewed out of all in the Fall Season, I wouldn’t recommend this too boys unless they like really shoujo like things. This was a series that is definitely categorized as Shoujo.  But I enjoyed it The only problem with this series is that it left some things unanswered which you’ll probably have to read/translate the novels to find out unless they have a second season. The plot had two main arcs, the first one was about Edgar becoming the Blue Knight Earl and the second one involved the Prince,but they both tied into together to make one hug plot.  The first arc of  the plot was really good but it started to drift off into the second. The taste and love that we felt in the first arc wasn’t felt as much in the second. Tho I must admit the storyline was pretty good and played out well, the only two things were that there were cliffhangers at the end and it could sometimes be very confusing. Character Development, happened alot in Edgar mainly I think thats where you notice it the most. Lydia didn’t really change or grow as a character she still ended up being a character who denies everything tho I think she grew in terms that she became more comfortable with her gift as a fairy doctor.  Edgar however even tho still a flirt was able to show how he has grown from child to adult and show that even tho he may be a playboy he really does care about Lydia, he also went from seeming like a villain to a prince =D The rest of the character didn’t really change or they didn’t have time to develop. Music in Earl and Fairy is quite nice, I enjoy the instrumental music in the anime because they seem to fit with all the scenes =D The opening takes a while to get use to but after a while it becomes a catching tune. The ending was the only thing that I didn’t like and never go use to. The Animation starts to lose it’s touch but it’s not like Yozakura Quartet where it’s annoying. When the animation starts to lose it’s original  touch you won’t mind because you’ll be too attentive to Edgar’s every move and word. In all I enjoyed this and pray for a second season. Vampire Knight Guilty

Overall Thought: I love Vampire Knights, I’m a huge fan of the manga and the anime. I must say that the second season was better than the first season in the terms that it was boring. Vampire Knight has something for everyone: love, action, and comedy. The voice actors are well picked for the characters and it’s a enjoyable ride through the whole second season but one thing that bothered me in Vampire Knights was that the second season really didn’t have any action, a lot of it was cut and the ending fight was really easy and horrible. Other then that the show was pretty good, I believe this even tho some others don’t. The Plot is following the manga but they take things and rearrange this isn’t so horrible considering that it still follows the manga pretty closely ,excluding the fact that the last two episodes were anime-orignal endings. I don’t really think the plot is any down point to the show except that they cut they huge fight with Rido short,which makes Rido’s death look babyish and like a easy task. The thing in Character Development is that all the characters development which is nice and we get to see everyone view point of the situation, not only Yuuki’s. Yuuki goes from immature child to more of a maturer person. Zero goes from being really depressed, to depress, to a point where he knows how he feels. He thinks two sided now instead of one. Aidou has matured. We’re shown that even tho Kaname comes off as like the guy with really no emotions he does have them and Yuuki can see through them. Music one word beautiful. Animation , I do agree that the animation isn’t the best , but I really don’t focus on it so much in this series. So if you watch this and are only in it for the animation, then I suggest not watching this series. Overall it was a well down sequel. Overal Rating:

I think the one thing this season lacked that the other season had was action. This disappoints me because I liked the second season more, and the finale seemed…well cheap, except for the funny moments with Aidou and Shiki. It ended in the best possible way for a anime, but the fight scenes with Rido were so…short, I think they were longer in the manga. Anyways episode 13 was good emotionally but rather slow. Please enjoy the last episode review and remember overall review of all the anime will be out tomorrow =D

Summary

Zero shoots his gun and it kills all the Level E vampires and hits Rido. Sand is flown everywhere and fills everywhere *The sand is the Level E’s dust*.Rido Kuran then disappears, and Yuuki informs everyone that Rido is still somewhere, Zero rushes off and Yuuki follows behind later. Rido meanwhile is making his way through the school grounds, biting Level E vampires as he goes *they all turn to dust once he bites them*. He won’t give up until he has Yuuki’s blood. Kaname then shows up behind him and tells Rido that the sun is coming up and the curtain of vampires is about to fall. Rido mocks Kaname for thinking that he *Kaname* could rule the curtains. Kaname then shoots back that it isn’t him, it’s him. Zero is standing behind Kaname, he points his gun at Rido is shocked but laughs it off saying they’re his servants.

Rido jumps into the air and goes straight towards Kaname but Kaname jumps past him and Kaname says goodbye. In front of Rido, Zero’s gun is starting to go bright, he shoots and bam Rido breaks apart and disappears. He’s dead. The night class and Yuuki feel his *Rido’s* life is gone. Yuuki and Aidou look at each other and make a mutual agreement. Yuuki runs off to find Zero.

Zero points his gun at Kaname, saying that not everything will go as planned. Kaname said this was planned and it is also planned that Zero wouldn’t pull the trigger, Zero is shocked at this but realizes why this is true. Yuuki show’s up and he puts the gun down. Kaname tells Yuuki that they’ll be leaving soon, and takes off leaving Zero and Yuuki alone. Kaname is thinking as he is walking back, this was all planned, all planned.

The night class,afterward, are all sitting. Aidou thinks he did a good job of protecting Yuuki,  Ruka thought Aidou was acting like a Knight when usually he’s the total oposite, and then everyone remembers what Kaname had told them before that they were all just pieces on a chessboard, he used them, to protect Yuuki. Kaname tells them he is sorry, he has found another way to protect Yuuki, and they can do as they like. Kaname then takes off.  Everyone is in shock, Aidou laughs and Akatsuki’s wondering if he’s ok. Aidou says of course he isn’t, he’s happy. He tells them that Kaname didn’t just use us and throw us away, he’s been watching us and acknowledge are existence. Aidou then states that he really does like Kaname.

Rima and Shiki are sitting and talking. Shiki comments on how Aidou was all fired up and Rima makes a sarcastic remark saying that it was so hot it was cold. Aidou yells at them and Akatsuki asks what they’ll do from now on. Seiren says she’ll continue to follow Kaname. Aidou gets out a blue marble and hides it in one of his hands and asks Akatsuki to choose which hand it’s in. This will decide if Aidou will follow Kaname or not. Akatsuki chooses one hand but Aidou pulls it back and pushes the other forward. He already has his decision decided so Akatsuki chooses that hand which has the marble in it and Aidou will follow Kaname.

Rima asks what Shiki will do and he says he’s going, and he’s going to break away from this curse.

The headmaster and Yagari meet up, Yagari gives the Headmaster the sheath for his sword and the Headmaster puts the sword into the sheath and says he’ll never open up this personality again.

Zero and Yuuki are on the roof, the sun has come up. Zero tells Yuuki that he’s always been watching her from up her, always been watching her always smile, do things and forgive people such as himself, and so on. Zero then says that Yuuki will now leave from in front of him. Yuuki agrees and reminds him of his promise about her killing him as a vampire. She asks what will happen if she became a vampire.  Zero says he doesn’t believe she’s a vampire but to make it proven she has to bite him. Yuuki starts to cry, he hugs her and then she bites him while crying.  Kaname is changing his closes and remembers Yuuki apologizing repeatedly, and he says to himself I know.

Yuuki is still biting Zero and all his feelings for her come rushing into her, she knows how he feels. She stops and he declares her a Vampire, heh tells her someday he’ll come and kill her and she tells him she’ll be waiting.

Yuuki is in her room, she takes the arthemis off and the rose vile drops on the floor and she picks it up. She feels she is the one who has hurt Kaname the most, not knowing he’s been lonely.

Kaname is all ready to go, he’s dressed with a coat on. He’s inside his room. He hears a thump and turns around. Yuuki carries her luggage into her room. He asks why she is here. She says it’s time to go. He tells her she is now free. She tells him he was there for her and she is there for him.  He reminds her that she has people to protect and she tells him that he is one of those people.  Kaname smiles. He tells her he’s happy and she says she is too, but she also makes him hurt and when she smiles, she cries. He tells her she hasn’t changed at all. He hugs her and tells her of a memory before she lost them. One night , Kaname is looking at the book about the sun and Yuuki comes out haft a sleep and tells him not to cry, little Yuuki then gets onto the sofa and hugs her brother and says: good boy,good boy, your not lonely.

Kaname rejoices saying that Yuuki always has been able to see through him.  She has protected him. He falls on her knees and he tells her she is the most precious thing to him. She gets down on her knees, hugs him, and thinks that she wants to protect him.

Zero feels Yuuki’s bite marks, and Kaname and Yuuki are walking down the path. Yuuki didn’t say good-bye to the chairmen afraid he would cry. A second later the headmaster shows up, crying. Yuuki acknowledges him as the Headmaster and he starts hugging her tightly telling her it’s dad, it’s dad. She pushes him away telling him she can’t breathe. The headmaster gets serious and asks if she’s going of her free will. She tells him yes, and he tells Kaname that he won’t go easy on  him if he makes Yuuki cry.

Yuuki and Kaname walk off, down the stairs and come face to face with Akatsuki, Aidou, and Ruka all ready to leave. Ruka tells him they’re following Kaname but they aren’t pieces. Kaname tells them to do whatever they please. Yuuki is happy by this, and on they go. Ruka and Aidou start arguing over who is a faster walker.

The Headmaster remembers what Juuri said to him and Haruka long ago when Yuuki was a baby that she wished for her daughter to be raised as a human girl and not have to carry the pureblood fate. The headmaster says that Yuuki can’t run from her faint but she can smile as a human girl. He says take care to himself for Yuuki and the rest. Yagari appears from under the rock and asks  how long he’s going to keep the students in the auditorium.   The headmaster screams.

Rima and Shiki are in the after math of the Elder’s place, Shiki finds the katakana and tries to do a cool move which doesn’t suit him. Shiki decides he’s going to find Ichijou and return his sword so he can get something in return. Rima says she’ll go too, she gets out a box of pocky, because she’s the only one that can feed Shiki.

The headmaster tells the students he’s sorry and everything over. Yori thinks about Yuuki. Yagari is cleaning all the cement pieces of the academy, he’s pissed by this, and wants him. Suddenly all his hunter buddies come and join in.

Zero goes to the Moon Dorm gate and remembers the days when he was a guardian with Yuuki. He remembers all of this and then snaps back to reality.  He gets out his gun and says He’ll haft to. Yuuki is walking off into the sun with the Night Class and thinks: I’ll be waiting,Zero. And the season 2 ends.

Thoughts

YAY! Another season show done =D I’m proud I was able to accomplish watching two shows and finish and review them all. I must say tho that it was a good ending, as good as it can get,  but the cliff hanger made it felt like they were implying a second season. In the manga Zero kisses Yuuki, sorry that’s a spoiler and then says he’ll one day come to kill  her and Yuuki says she’ll keep running so he can keep on living and thats the newest thing in the manga, so I guess the anime is saying: well were done now so go and continue in the manga, which is fine with me but it kind of makes me sad, is this a odd feeling? I also felt this episode was a good wrap, but it was two slow and this season lack action I mean the ending fight with Rido was really,pathetic, no offense. In my opinion I was more thrilled with Season 2 then Season 1, but they all have there cons and pros. The one thing I can say is that they did make it really emotional, I actually cried twice when watching Zero go back to the Moon Dorm afterward. Anyways that’s my ending thoughts for this episode. The final review for this show will be up tomorrow =D I hope you enjoyed watching and reading my summaries as much as I did.

Overall

So This is the last episode =D It’s been a long ways since we started reviewing it but we finish today. It was probably my favorite series to watch of Fall 2008 Anime season and I will miss it. I’m praying for a second season cause they kind of left off in a cliff hanger way *A way where the story continues,even after it finishes*. If not I’ll have to translate all the novels, and I’m only on Novel 1.

(Note: This isn’t the final review of the series, I’ll be doing a post on all the fall series, excluding Skip Beat, about what I gave them overall through the whole season. I’ll give my thoughts and ect.)

Summary

The episode opens up with Lydia’s father working in his study, he’s starts looking for a book in a pile of books on his desk and they all fall off his desk. He ends up picking up the books but brownies starting pulling at his hair and tugging at his sleeve. Professor Carlton says he’ll make tea and cookies for the brownies. He comes back with cookies, and the brownies dig in. He’s sad that he can’t see the brownies but is happy they’re Lydia’s friend. He goes back to work, and looks at a picture of him,his wife, and Lydia as a baby. He looks at his picture and says that Lydia will become a great Fairy Doctor because she is your daughter *he’s directing this at his decease wife*.

Raven and Nico are in Ulysses’s mansion are walking around. Nico is trying to find Lydia and Raven asks if his sister has been turned into a fairy, or if she’s dead. Nico says yes, she’s a selkie. Raven then asks if she is being controlled by the Prince. Nico says whoever steals a Selkie’s pelt can control them, so Ulysses’s must of stole her pelt.

Ermine is worried about Edgar’s wound, and Edgar says it nothing. Lydia is in a daze at seeing Ermine but returns to normal and says that they need to go to the human world where there is sunlight so they can heal Edgar’s wound.  Ermine says yes and leads them to the exit. On the way Edgar gives Lydia his  gun and says that he wants her to live on if he’s not around. Lydia hides the gun, and the three of them come across the room the banshee and Paul were in.  They go inside and Lydia finds Paul unconscious. She goes and wakes him up, she is happy that he’s alive so is Edgar. Paul is a bit surprise that Ermine’s here but calms down and tells them that the Banshee and the amber picture is with Ulysses. Edgar decides to not go back to the human world and go get the painting back. Lydia says no,not a good idea, they need to go back and get his wound heal. Edgar turns to Lydia and pushes her back and then walks out the door with Ermine. On the way out he locks the door from the outside,making it that Lydia and Paul are locked in. Lydia screams for him to open the door but he walks away with Ermine. Lydia starts crying, wondering why Edgar leaves her alone always.

Ermine asks Edgar what he’ s going to do next and Edgar states that even tho Ermine looks at him that way she is not Ermine. Ermine is dead. Ermine is hurt by this. Ulysses’s, Jimmy, and the banshee shows up. Ulysses makes it clear that the wager is off, and  Edgar tells the banshee that Paul is has escaped. The banshee is happy, she starts walking towards Edgar but Ulysses pushes her to the ground. Edgar states that Ulysses doesn’t know how to treat women right, and Ulysses say he’ll prove to Edgar why he is the right successor to the Blue Knight Earl Family  and Edgar says Ulysses has no right to call himself that. Ulysses doesn’t know the meaning about being noble, and Edgar says Ulysses will loose. Ulysses say he’ll show Edgar where he stands.

Lydia and Paul are trying to figure a way out, the windows won’t bust and they seem stuck. But Lydia hears a voice, it’s Nico. That’s right Nico and Raven have found them and saved them.

Ulysses is now ready to break the seal and burn the painting. He takes the painting, which the banshee has and makes it start on fire with his thumbs. Edgar looks angrily at the burning painting. The banshee remembers everything and faints. Edgar rushes towards her but is held back by Jimmy.  Edgar yells at Jimmy and is stopped when he hears his name called.  Edgar looks up to find that Ermine has taken the banshee hostage, and has a knife to the banshee neck. Ermine says if the banshee dies then everything will be alright, and since Ermine is a selkie and has fae she can kill the banshee. Ulysses is mad and reminds Ermine that he can burn/break her pelts. Ermine says she doesn’t and never cared for her life and the only reason she joined the Prince was so she could protect Edgar. Ulysses whispers into his hand and monsters appear around them. Edgar tells Ermine to let the banshee go because he doesn’t want to sacrifice anyone from the Earl’s family. After a few minutes the banshee is set free. Ulysses laughs and asks if this is what they call: a noblemen pride. He then says he never cared before if he sacrifice his friends. Edgar says time have change. Ulysses makes all the monsters attack Edgar but they are all killed by Raven, who has just showed up.

Lydia, Paul and  Nico are on the floor watching from above. Paul asks if the Banshee memories have returned and Nico says probably because theirs burnt canvas on the grounds. Paul mourns for the beautiful painting that has been destroyed. Lydia looks up at the two moons in wonder.

Ermine tells Raven to take Edgar and run because his wound isn’t healed yet. Raven looks at Edgar’s wound and he snaps, he runs at Ulysses at full speed and in the next second Ulysses is being faced with a dagger pointed at his eye and the dagger is only one inch away from the eye. Ulysses is in fear but Jimmy pushes Raven away and tells Raven that he is his challenger. Raven and Jimmy the spectra hound start fighting and one time Raven gets distracted when Jimmy turns from spectra hound into human. Raven is distracted by this and Jimmy takes full advantage and knocks Raven to the ground.  Raven is then pounced on by a spectra hound. Ulysses then tells the monsters to take care of the traitor. Suddenly when everything seems at a lost, the ground opens up and out comes water and behind the water is Kelpie.

Kelpie asks where Ermine’s powers have gone and Ulysses orders the rest of the monsters to attack Kelpie. Kelpie  turns into a horse. Raven is holding back Jimmy with his dagger, but the spectra hound is hit with something flying through the air and falls back. Raven then cuts the spectra hound in haft. Raven looks at what was thrown at the spectra hound and it is a mask, Nico’s mask. Raven looks up and sees Lydia and Nico. Nico is proud.

The banshee gets up and Ulysses orders the banshee to give him Glady’s power. The banshee goes over and bows at him and asks for Ulysses to spare her life.  Ulysses scoff at the bargain and tells her that he’s her master and the banshee yells that she doesn’t consider  Ulysses her master. Ulysses,angry, orders the spectra hounds to attack Edgar and the rest. Ermine and Raven go in front of Edgar and Lydia comes running down the stairs to where everyone is  telling them to stop because she finally understands. Edgar screams at her to stay back and starts running at her, little does he notices that behind him a Spectra Hound is behind him and is about to pounce on him. Lydia warns him, he turns around and  the banshee jumps in front of him and takes the hurt. The spectra hound bites the banshee’s shoulder.

Everyone’s shocked and Edgar is feeling bad because he let his people down again. Lydia tells him to be strong and not to give up. She then takes out the gun and points it in the air. She yells at the Spectra hounds to return to the den. Ulysses asks what she is doing. She tells him she is going to bring in light that will burn their eyes. Ulysses makes fun of her for this but she tells him that this place is surrounded with magic and the two moons the one on the left hasn’t moved since she arrived.  If she destroys that moon this place will be filled with light. Ulysses says he’s happy she notices and asks if she can hit it. If not the spectra hounds will rip out her throat. Edgar says it will be ok and Lydia prays that she hits it and she shoots and bulls-eye she gets it. The glass breaks and falls to the ground. A dagger is falling from the sky and the whole places is now surrounded with light which makes all the spectra hounds disappear.

Jimmy yells at Ulysses to come this way, his *Jimmy’s* face is bleeding and Ulysses goes over to him. Ulysses tells Edgar that the prince will arrive in England soon and both him and Jimmy disappear in a dark portal. Kelpie and Ermine disappear too. Lydia hugs Edgar because his wound is gone and they saved the day.  Edgar tells Lydia that the banshee’s prophecy still exists. Paul comes forward carrying the banshee. Paul takes the banshee to Edgar and sets her down. She says thanks. Edgar asks why she has not been healed yet and she says she is a fairy and fae magic doesn’t work. Edgar then asks why she didn’t give the powers to Ulysses. She tells him she remembers everything and that is she is supposed to be accpted into the Blue Knight Earls family and that is the prophecy in which her death takes place.  She tells Edgar she is thankful for taking care of Glady’s will/wish.

The banshee then hands over the key of Ibrazel, and tells him to take care of everyone and finish the Prince off. She hands over a magic in which Edgar can’t see. Then the banshee notices the wedding ring on Lydia’s finger and says  your the consort? Lydia doesn’t know how to respond. The banshee then thanks Paul and prays that everyone will be watched over and she disappears *or dies,not sure*. Edgar comments on how he can’t see the key. Lydia can’t see it either. He says he can’t see fairies and doesn’t know how to use the key but he will defeat the Prince.

Back at the Edgar mansion, the butler is waiting for everyone to return. He tells the maid to make a meal for everyone. A warm soup and a filling meal, but warns her that one of them doesn’t like Liver *Kelpie* and to have small cutlery for the young gentlemen *Nico*.

Kelpie is on his turf and Ermine shows up. He asks what she is doing here and she asks if she’s not allow to come and thank him. He tells her he was only protecting Lydia and she says she was only protecting Edgar. Kelpie then states that he only wants to see Lydia smile.

Meanwhile on the way back: Paul,Lydia,Edgar,Nico,and Raven are all in a carriage. Edgar says: Bridgette. He says that’s a name of a dog he once had. Lydia says to give it up. He asks for a intial and she asks if he’s been thinking about it all this time with a serious look on his face. He says it is serious, and takes her hand. He says that from the beginning he only wanted to kill the Prince and didn’t care if he died but now he wants to live for Lydia. He then says if he dies some other man will take Lydia and he has the special privilege of saying sweet things in her ears. She tells him that’s not a special privilege.

Raven asks if Edgar want him to say all the names in Alphabetical order and Edgar tells him to forget that and be quite. Coblynau has appeared and says thats right and bow is in a good mood. Edgar takes both of Lydia’s hands in his. He tells her that he’s not going to use his name to any advantage and he has a responsibility to protect everyone and asks for Lydia’s help.

Lydia asks if she’ll be any use, and he tells it might be dangerous but he wants her to grant his wish. He wants her to be together with him forever. She recites that and starts to think about it.  She then snaps out of her daze states and asks what he’s trying to do. He says because she so kind she will not leaves a man with many flaws in the dark. Lydia then states that she won’t marry him.

He then asks Lydia if she will stick to her promise about kissing him when they return. Lydia is thinking that she must stand firm and strong, but then Edgar says that he’ll do this but the real kiss they’ll do when Lydia’s ready. He then leans forward and touches all of Lydia’s lip with his hand and then kisses her forehead and Lydia closes her eyes as this episode and the episode ends.

Thoughts

Woah, my favorite anime of the season has come to a end. It was a good show but the ending ended good but they also left us a cliffhanger so I’m praying for a second season if now I’ll be stuck translating all the books to find out what happened and I’m only on book 1,lol.  I won’t spoil the episode for you for those who haven’t seen, but I want to state some obvious points or questions. 1) How are Ermine and Raven Related? I know by blood but they seriously don’t look like one another. I mean one has really dark skin and the other one doesn’t *no offense*. It’s just they look so different, or is it because Ermine’s dead.   2)  We never found out how Ermine died, or what really happened? Theirs no real explanation for this answer it’s pretty self explanatory. 3) Lydia’s past, we see a boy but we never figure out who he is? This is one that really became noticeable. They never finished the plot with Lydia and her past and the boys. Or maybe I  missed something. Who was that boy, maybe it was related to the Prince or something. If so maybe it will be explained in the second season *If there is one* or in later books. Well just wanted you to ponder. Remember my overall review for shows for the season (Vampire Knights, Yozakura Quartet, and Earl And Fairy) will be out soon so please don’t consider this my final rating or thoughts of this show.
