What is the reason why people turn to psychics? – Probably because they need a guide to help them make a decision, or get an insight to be able to solve their problems. The goal is to make their lives easier. Yet are psychics really able live up to these expectations? Can “genuine” psychics really help the confused individual, or does she only make things worse?

If you’re planning to buy a car at a certain time and need someone’s advice about it, then it’s probably best to just get the opinion of your friends or loved ones instead of relying on some stranger to tell you why you should or should not buy a new car.

More or less, a “psychic” would just make a wise guess as to which advice would best please you. She would apply a style that would entice you to give her information about your desires without actually asking you directly for it. She would then use these details to spin a “reading” that would sound appealing to you and convince you that you got the best value or service for all your money’s worth.

Don’t forget that fortune tellers are in the business. They ask for a fee (or a donation) with the mindset of giving you a good reading (one that appeals to you) so that you would pay at once, and then come back again and pay again. It really doesn’t matter if she gives you a real prediction or a fake one as long as you leave the place “enlightened” and inspired to return for another forecast. Most psychics do have the power to talk a client into returning again whether or not their previous readings have come true one hundred percent.

In fact, psychic reading has become an art that can easily be learned by so many people. You can call it “sleight of mind” or just plain “convincing powers” that you can actually learn with every interaction or conversation with different types of people. There are even books that teach Mind Reading, which is just what most psychics do. They have the ability to “read” your mind with the slightest response that you give them.

Now there are actually REAL psychics that get aid from a higher power or spiritual entity (such as angels). They are rare to find though considering there are already too many so-called psychics in the business. And if you do find a real psychic, it’s also not often to find a totally honest or genuine one because most people these days find it easier to give out false readings, instead of the real one, just to please his customer for the money.

Spotting a real psychic from a fake one is one thing; and getting a real psychic to give you her true reading is another thing.

Instead of placing your confidence in the wrong place, why not do yourself your own mind reading and get the best advice or reading that you could ever have. God has created you with Reason. You know your heart’s desires. You’re the person who knows yourself best, so don’t complicate things. You have the power to decide. Don’t rely on psychics. Find the answers within.

searching for tv speakers for your girls-only movie night? yes, movie night... there are lots of times that i'm in the mood to watch a cool chick flick. sometimes i want to watch with fellow girl friends; other times i like to enjoy a good movie on my own. either way, i want a good movie to come out right from my tv set - with high quality graphics and of course, amazing sound quality. times like this is when it might be worthwhile to buy a good television speaker.

there are lots of different tv speakers out there. there are small tv speakers and then there are full scale surround sound ones. it's your choice. there are also tv speakers for plasma tv or for LDC tv. the price of course would vary.

aside from the price though, it's also good to consider a tv speaker that will fit the design of your home. believe it or not, a lot of tv speakers now vary in color, shapes, sizes and details. you would certainly find one that fits the theme of your home.

you can find a tv speaker manufactured by a prominent or trusted entertainment electronics company. branded ones are usually the ones with the best quality. also look for one that comes along with a warranty. you don't want to miss your hard earned money on a defective item. make sure you keep the receipt just in case you need to exchange your purchase.

rather than buying a new television to replace your old tv that doesn't quite have the sound quality you're after, buy a new tv speaker instead. don't forget to read customer reviews before you buy one.

- YES, can't share it here though, too personal.

- I moved just last June this year. I moved so i could be with the one i love. Heehee!

- Malls still. I like hanging out in the mall too much lol. And when i buy something i like to receive the item right away haha!

- Saturday9 - first and last lol.

5. If you could invent something, what would it be?
- A cleaning robot machine. A water resistant one so he could also clean the toilet :P

- Still need to buy a gift for my mom and my kris-cringle baby.

- I remember when i first saw snow when i came to New York - it was so beautiful.. I don't like winter cold though >.<

- Free public transportation, haha!

- I've never rode a sleigh or carriage. But i like horses. Riding a romantic wedding carriage as a bride would be nice :)

- I like "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" and "Jingle Bell Rock" :D

- "Silent Night" and the Drummer Boy song always makes me sleepy :P

- I've never been to a fortune teller. There was a time that i was curious, but now, it's totally against my beliefs.

- Just smile :)

- First i would wish not to take away 3 years of my life. Then i wish i'd live to grow old with the people i love the most. Three, to have a successful business ^_^

- I want to meet my soul mate, though it's sad if i'm going to lose him. Well, that's life, at least we met and were once happy :)

- Once sticked with a crappy job 'cause i don't have a choice :P

- No.. When i bear my own child, i would consider it as a happy miracle :)

- Not from the States: Sometimes we celebrate thanksgiving (especially in the form of mass) when some positive life-changing moment happens. It's good to give thanks to the Lord.

Entrecard - Easy Blogvertising

Just a few months ago, i started to try Entrecard. I've seen Entrecard widgets on almost all blogs that i visit. I wondered why everyone is using it, so i visited the website, and found out exactly what Entrecard is. Their website is easy to understand, and i have to say, Entrecard may just be worth trying. It might be just what i I'm looking for.

I'm specifically looking for an easy and effective way to blogvertise (advertise my blog). On the other hand, i'm also not very keen on spending a lot of money just to get a few more page views for my blog. In other words, i was skeptical with Entrecard at first. I thought that i wasn't going to gain much from using it if i didn't pay them some money. I was wrong! Paying is just an option, and even if you don't opt for paying (buying credits to be advertised), you're still going to get some benefits for joining.

Sort of like a link exchange but to various blogs at once, all you have to do is place the Entrecard widget on your blog to advertise the blogs of other Entrecard users. These users have also placed the widget on their blogs to advertise your blog and other members' blogs in rotation. Entrecard then is more than just a blog directory you can submit your blog to so your blog gets exposure from the visitors of the directory. You don't just get page views from your listing in the Entrecard website; you also get viewed from the other blogs who also use Entrecard - very clever!

(Really, I think the only con with Entrecard is that you're not sure if people are actually reading your blog or just visiting to leave a "drop." But anyways..)

To even get more page views or "drops," you can drop more on other members' blogs. Once you drop on a blog, the blog owner will see your drop on his/her Entrecard inbox and (hopefully) return the drop by visiting your blog. The more drops you make, the more drops you'll also receive. And note: Even if you're not a very frequent dropper, you're still sure to get some drops because most Entrecard droppers don't just drop for getting reciprocal drops. An Entrecard user also drops more so he could also earn EC (Entrecard credits), which he could use in the Entrecard marketplace, where he could pay other members credits to get his blog advertised on their blog to get even MORE page views!) - amazing!

So basically, that's how Entrecard's system works - very simple - yet amazingly effective. Not to mention FREE and easy to use. And as if things just don't get any better, Entrecard also gives away free credits. Find out more here -> Entrecard Contest.

* Mix a cup of fruit-flavored yogurt, preferably strawberry with some honey. Add chopped dark chocolates :)

* If you don't like the taste of yogurt, subdue it by melting 3 parts dark chocolate, then adding 1 part plain yogurt and some honey. Pour onto candy bar molds then refrigerate :)

- You can try. But you can't expect everyone to agree. I can talk politics or other sensitive topics with my hunny..

- No election here in the Philippines..

- Same answer as no.2.

- I can't go a day without laughing. It's my stress reliever!

- You can't expect whom you're going to fall in love with. But you can also CHOOSE to learn to love someone. I didn't expect to fall in love with my boyfriend. And as days go by i learned to love him more. I choose to be with him forever and every.. :)

- Declamation poem (kindergarten), Verse choir (high school), Interpretative dance (college)...

i have a new crush. it's Mocha. i love this filipina. she's a pride for filipinos. a woman who sets a good example. aside from being beautiful and sexy, and a good singer, Mocha also lives up for a good cause. recently, Mocha poses for breast cancer cause. among the veteran painters who painted Mocha nude were Ephraim Samson and Al Perez.

aside from raising breast cancer awareness this Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), the proceeds of the nude paintings goes to breast cancer patients including Mocha's mom who was diagnosed with 3A breast cancer last March 2010.

Mocha also helps sell "Boobs Rock!" charity t-shirts. she's also launched her first breast cancer fund-raiser concert, "Cleavage Night" last August 17 2010 at Mugen Bar. Mocha was also recently named Philippine's Ambassadress of the Breast Cancer Month.

Let's face it. The skin is one of the most noticeable things in a woman's body. These days, and I bet even during the olden days, women are very much conscious about the way their skin looks.

Smooth, supple, radiant, and white - those are just the characteristics that your skin must have, and the number one indication that your skin is not as healthy and beautiful as it should be - is if you have rough and dark elbows and knees.

In fact, the elbows and knees are the woman's body part that men often notice and look at. I remember when my boyfriend and I were walking at the mall and saw a lady with a short skirt. I thought that my boyfriend was going to say, "Nice long legs," but instead he said, "How could she wear a short skirt - her knees are so dark!" Since then I've gotten conscious about how my own knees and elbows look. I've sworn that I would have beautiful elbows and knees so I could wear any clothes I want without the scrutiny of others.

I noticed that my elbows and knees were not too dark, but not too smooth and white either. And since I want them to look the best they could be, I decided to try whitening lotions.

The first few lotions that I tried didn't work pretty well, until I opted for Vitamin-E based lotions. I've also learned that lotions that contain natural ingredients are the best moisturizers.

I also tried a trick that eliminated roughness, successfully making my elbows and knees smoother and not just whiter -- exfoliation. Scrubbing or using body wash with scrubs 2-3 times a week successfully removes (dark rough) dead skin as well as makes lotions or moisturizers adhere more to the skin.

I realized that in making your elbows and knees smoother and whiter, the best results can be achieved in the combination of: 1) exfoliation and 2) the use of moisturizers (or lotions).

Exfoliating makes the skin more absorbent to lotions; at the same time, lotions restore or replace the skin's natural oils and moisture that were lost during exfoliation.

Philippines: "Run for the Pasig River 10.10.10" a world record success

right now i am a very proud Filipino. the Run for the Pasig River 10.10.10 (October 10, 2010) event was reported a huge success, with over 100,000 runners. documents right now are being submitted to Guinness to confirm that the Philippines has beat the world record of most people running on a race.

the race was also for a charitable cause. the proceeds went to the cleaning of the Pasig River. best of all it's aim was to race awareness to people about the importance of taking care of our environment especially keeping our rivers clean. once the Guinness World Record confirms then the good cause of this event will be known to more people all over the world.

Saturday 9: Just Like Me

1. Who in your life do you think behaves and thinks the most like you do?
- My hunny bf have our difference, but most of the time he thinks and behaves a lot like me - that's why we're a good match :)
2. As a kid, were you ever wrongly accused (and punished, if it went that far) for something you didn't do? If so, what was it? What happened?
- I really can't think of any. My childhood memory is mostly blurred. Besides, my parents are not the type that punish.. Oh wait, when i was in first year high-school, my teacher thought i kicked my project basket at her. I was aiming at my classmate who was distracting me as i was listening to the lecture. But i missed and the basket hit the foot of my teacher instead. Oops!

3. What about as an adult, were you ever wrongly accused for something you didn't do?? Do you think it's worse to be accused as a child or an adult? Why/why not?
- Please see my answers above :) I think whether you are a child or not, it's still not very good to be wrongly accused.
3. What’s the scariest weather situation you’ve experienced?
- The scariest i remember when i was still a kid and our family was traveling back home from the province and there was this typhoon. We were just on an "owner" type of jeep and the wind was so strong, i was so scared we would all get blown away. And then there was this high flood. My dad, driving, risked and went through the flood. We were so relieved the machine didn't die and we didn't get stuck on the waist-high flood. I couldn't swim yet back then.
4. If you could wake up tomorrow morning in another country, where would you want to be and why?
- I want to wake up in the Holy City or the Vatican for a spiritual travel with my beloved :)
5. Instead of going to work Monday, if you could spend the entire day doing something else--any one or two things that you absolutely love doing--what would you do?
- S*x.. just kidding! LMAO :D I'd probably eat and sleep all day - I'm a lazy cat! LOL!
6. What sites (other than meme sites) do you use most to help you post on your blog?
- LifeScript page for women. I also get a lot of inspiration from the free discussions site MyLot (where you could also earn money just by participating in the discussions :D
7. Check out a post on your blog from six months ago (March 2010) and tell us what is different now about your blog and/or life?
- The only thing i noticed is that i blog a lot about my hunny bf now, heehee. Perhaps i'm just so happy i always remember him even when i'm just answering memes, heehee. Also all my saturday 9's have answers about him, Lol :D
8. What was the last photograph you took?
- My last photograph i took was a photo of our hibiscus flower - it's always in bloom i love it :) I took the shot with my cellphone.
9. Which fashion trend do you believe is the most horrendous and why?

- Crocs, i really don't know why people wear crocs - it looks horrendous! (just my opinion)
