Finally, ended my 1st batch of try outs. Days are well spent for rest and study, nothing else. Gosh, how bored is that. So, today is a total break from every study related stress. And today is Valentine's day! Valentine's day means chocolate, and I got quite a lot today. Chocolate, cookies, and everything sweet! How cool are them, and that part is the best! At least I have a peaceful Valentine's day, away from all that stress. Spend the night out today, and got these beautiful hydrangeas and white roses. Yes, they both are my favorite flowers. Put them in a vase of cold water and place them at my desk. How lovely are them! Well, I bet every one of you have spent this special day with anyone you love, either it's family, friends or lovers. Wishing you a great one day/night.

Autumn Leaves

Warm blanket, scented candles, aroma therapy, good music, comfy outfit, macbook, internet connection. Those things can keep me away from the society, seriously. I can stay all day long in my room enjoying the quality time with the one and only, me! I love scented candles! I could buy 5 different variety of Yankee Candles in a week, no kidding. I just find it, ummmm.. soothing, maybe. I love it, doing things with my fave scent around makes everything seems better, it freshen me up. At least it still works a little bit even for the worst thing could possibly happen around time. A good way to lighten your mood up, and it always works! Well, at least for me. Maybe you should try for yourself too!

Speaking of good music, what kind of music do you like? I have an usual taste of music, perhaps. Unlike others who usually listen to Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Adele, Bruno Mars, Akon, David Guetta, etc over and over again, I don't do that. Not that I don't listen to them at all, I listen to them and I don't hate their music, they produce great arts. I like their songs, I sing their song sometimes, but those ain't kind of song that catches my heart and make it fall in love with. I do love slow rock, from the oldies until modern slow rock. I love kind of rock-soul-swingy-jazzy music. I love those genre-bending contemporaries. Combination of them all creates perfection! Some may be kinda dark sometimes, but it calms me down. Weird? So, I confess... I listen to paramore, gun n roses, florence + the machine, Carla Burni, Anya Marina, Lykke Li, Lana Del Rey, etc. These geniuses produce great musics! Don't ya agree?

By the way, I'm about to face my pre try outs and actual try outs in no time. That means a lesser time I have to do such things as blogging, and stuffs. Plus I got much more extra duties to be finished. I'm a 12th graders, and all of the 12th grades have a lot on their agenda, includes the prom night, charity night, yearbook, and our alliance event. And I have a quite big responsibility in my hand, still I got some not-less-important-things to do too, still, a tiny little time I have. So please I beg you pardon for my absence, and I promise I will be back really soon!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

How was your first day in 2012? I bet it was awesome. Excited much? I do! hehe. Hope 2012 will be an awesome year for you guys! Nothing much I did on new year eve. What I did is waiting for my Dad's flight landed on the airport. Well I did that literally. Nothing special except the non stop fireworks all around my house and full of bbq smokes coming in. Well, not that special.. I hate bbq smoke it makes my hair stinks, literally. One thing I love about this holiday season is SALE everywhere (oh please, which girl on earth doesn't love sale!). Well, the holiday season is almost over and lots of works are waiting for me. Which is sucks. haha.

So, I've been making this video since yesterday. Just another fun project I did, it's the first time I make a video myself! I know this isn't good enough but this is my first anyway! Hope you like it! :D

Almost a week passes and here we are at the end of 2011. 2012 is around the corner and who's excited? I do! I'm excited about everything, I mean it's another brand new year, a fresh start, and everything new! See, full of excitement! Well, except about the apocalypse rumor ( If that's true idk). 2011 have been great, the good, the bad, even the worst had happened. Let's cherish them and take them as a lesson and a part of becoming the better you.

So picture below was taken few days ago. I was wearing my lovely jumpsuit for picnic. It was love at the first sight, bought that jumpsuit quite a long time ago and just had a chance to wear it not so long ago. The purple color of this jumpsuit reminds me of bubblegum! I love the color and the fabric, combination of them make the jumpsuit so yummy, well for me. haha. Do you recognize that I've been wearing this drawstring leopard bag in a row? Well, I'm not a big fan of huge huge bag, I'm more of the type who loves small sling bag or so. But since I almost always bring my camera everywhere, a small sling bag won't fit all of the stuffs I have to carry. But look at this bag it may looks small but can you believe it, it fits my dslr camera, wallet, blackberry, my soft-lens kit (the water and stuffs), tissue, etc. So that's why I looveee this bag. It fits everything!

Forgive my face, it looked pretty exhausted with heavy eyebags underneath my eyes. I hate my eyebags very much but it won't disappear that easy, every time it nearly gone it become worse a few next day. *sigh* And I look chubbier! I've gained quite a lot of kgs. oops! Will lose some for sure (it's definitely will be on my 2012 resolution) lol!

A Merry Little Christmas

So, here comes the merriest day of the year! The day that full of joy and happiness. Where kids wait for Santa and of course presents from him! While the adults are expecting a wonderful time with their loved ones. It's Christmas everyone! First of all I want to say MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! May you have all the blessings and have that merry little Christmas with your loved ones.

Wow, I can't believe it, it's Christmas already. Days have been going on pretty fast, and i felt like I don't want this Christmas to come yet. I felt like I'm not ready and well prepared to welcome this year's Christmas. But anyway, It's still Christmas and I LOVE ITT!! The atmosphere, the joy, the loves, the happiness, the smiles, I love them all! Seems like people share everything on Christmas, either good or bad, they celebrate, they give, and they forgive. What I love most is seeing smiles on everyone's face, and only Christmas can give most smiles in every year. But still, I'm not ready! It's Christmas less than an hour, I want it to be nice and pleasant with smiles and laughter.

Lately I feel like I don't wanna move. I don't want to get old, I don't want to miss a thing! Days are running and running like a jet and I can't seem to keep up. I want to use each day wisely and being productive, but phew so much to do and I'm such a bad time manager. I didn't even manage my time very well to frequently blog. Apologizes to my super nice readers. I want to do everything while I'm still young. I'm curiouser and curiouser. I'm young and restless, why spend days on the couch? Well, so have you make your new year resolution? If you haven't, go make one! It's a sure thing will help you improve yourself. I haven't made mine tho, but I will make them soon! I'm so excited in everything!

Howdy people! How's your day? It's nearly December don't you realize? This morning I checked my agenda and just realized that we almost reach the end of November. Have you been asking where were me and my blog? I've been drowned by exams and stuffs. Tomorrow I will be doing the first and second subject of the entire final exam. I suppose to study, don't I? Yes I was studying until the electricity goes off. So I left home and reached the nearest frozen yogurt bar ( I love frozen yogurt!). Haha maybe that was just an excuse for me to not studying. But I'm now back home and I have to study hours ahead. It's 2 weeks away until freedom. Stand still and pass this Michelle!

Hello people! How's your day? Mine has been pretty tiring and rough. Yes, as a 12th grade student I've got a lot of things to do, unlimited tasks and exams. Even my pretty Saturday seems doesn't have a bright complexion these days, maybe it'll stay the same until several months ahead. But cheers, we are young and restless, enjoy life, learn as much as you can. I will be surrounded with bundle of joy as soon as I've done all these stuffs, well I suppose.
So, this is the outfit I wore to Nikicio Mixte s/s 2012 presentation. I don't know, I love colors but somehow I often end up with sort of monochromatic colors like black, white, and grey. Just what I did when I was choosing my outfit for this event. The presentation was held in the morning, pretty early as the mall even haven't opened for public yet. When I entered the mall, it was empty, not really empty, there's few people but consider it as empty since it was only a few who's got in already. The escalators were still off and I'm quite lazy to climb myself up using the stairs, so I decided to took some pics (pssst.. the mall is still empty!). All the pics was taken by my friend. Wearing my super comfortable wedges ever!

NKICIO: Mixté Vol.07 // Le Printemps 2012

Last Saturday, I went to Nikicio Mixte s/s 2012 fashion show. The show started at 10:00 AM in the morning. Yes, right after the mall opens. Oh by the way the show was held at Plaza Indonesia, to be exact at The Goods Departement. In this collection, Nina inspired by the skaters and also light-travelers. As you will see, most of the models will walk carrying a transparent skateboard designed by nikicio. As usual the collection talks "yes, it's nikicio designs!". Nikicio has been one of my favorite collection from the first time I saw it. This collection is dominated with grey, black, white and sky blue (almost grayish). From Leather, silk-printed, until jersey nikicio has made a beautifully effortless collection. I love the whole collection! But my most favorite piece is the one closing the show, a shirt attached with ceramics beads on it. Nikicio is collaborating with Kandura and created this amazing piece! From what I heard, Kak Nina and her team made this piece for two months! Beside that, there are many more pieces that I love. "Nikicio suits me well." This what I always have in mind.

This time, I recorded a video of the show instead of taking pictures of models walking in with the pieces. Well, there're reasons why I'm recording instead. First, I was sitting on the second row and a person sitting in front of me is quite bigger than me, so I couldn't take a proper picture of the models. And second some people standing are keep coming forward and somehow covering my vision but thank God that didn't really happened, just a few secs and then back to normal haha. So that's why I was recording a video this time. So that's all, enjoy the pics and you'll find a video closing this post. At last, I would like to thank kak Nina for having me at the show. Right after the show ended, there was a collection launch. All the clothes gone so fast! I want a skirt which I thought it was a snake print on it turns out it's actually a knit print! I love that skirt so much. But right after I went to the new collection launch section, it was all gone. Yea so I have to wait until earlier november to get one. Bought a midi sheer skirt instead.

Acne S/S 2012 RTW
Acne's doing great with everything boyish and a little touch of femininity. Biker jackets, blazers, long wide legged pants, bermuda pants, A line skirts, and A line dresses. What to say? I love this collection! And look at that heeled loafers, chic!

David Koma S/S 2012 RTW
This collection somehow reminds me of alien invasion. I looooveeee this collection! Sheer with geometric prints ah, genius! Besides, this collection are dominated with black and white. They both are forever my colors. I couldn't say no to black and white ever. Nothing much to say, I just love this collection so so so so so much!

Mary Kantrantzou S/S 2012 RTW
Mary Kantrantzou S/S 2012 is so flowery! I love the combination of bold colors and abstract and flowery prints here. Yes we will find lots of flower and lightweight fabric here. Love the dresses and love how that lightweight fabric attached on those dresses. Models walk in it, amazing.

What I've been thinking lately is, what kind of person I'm gonna be, what kind of person who I'm gonna share my life with, what kind of people who will fulfill and change my life, what I am gonna do to become what I'm going to be. Quite much huh? I bet each of you have been through this phase or maybe in the future you will. Some people say, do anything you wanna do as long as it makes you happy. But something that makes you happy doesn't always right, right? You may run, you may catch happiness as much as you can. But not all kind of happiness is right, not all of them is permanent, sometimes it remains short, only for a while, not all of them that's true. Sometimes, it either will makes a rainbow in your future or will crash a thunder on it.
I accept knowledges, I love to learn something new, but as much as I want to learn everything I need the same doze of happiness. I don't need tons of happiness, I just wanna taste a snippet of it in the middle of bitterness of life. I don't wanna overdo, I want everything just enough.
Actually, I took these photos a long time ago, but haven't had time to show you. But this time I will! Wearing my favorite sweater of all time!

Erdem S/S 2012 RTW

So, New York Fashion Week has passed and now we're moving to London Fashion Week. Due to my tight schedule I was unable to catch up with most of New York Fashion Week's shows. I was having mid semester exam, and tasks overdose. I even hardly had my 8 hours sleep, no, even 5 hours sleep. Side effects? Sore all over my body, lack of concentration, under eye circles (big no), major headache, and MORE! But thank God those hellish things finally over. Wait, I still have more normal exams upcoming. *sigh* Yea deal with it girl, there's nothing you can do.

Okay, enough with the babbling and jump to the review! I guess I will not post past NYFW shows reviews but more of London Fashion Week's instead (it will change if i change my mind tho). There are lots of NYFW's collection that I love well some of them are Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, 3.1. Philip Lim, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs, Peter Som, Proenza Schouler, and Vena cava. Now I'm gonna review one of LFW day 4 shows. It's Erdem s/s 2012 RTW. First thing across my mind when I was seeing this collection is garden party, afternoon tea time, and duchess of england! (Well, make that things and are). This collection is pretty classic with lots of classic prints, lace, embroidery, lightweight fabrics, and you know, floral prints have dominated the runway! Most of the brands have floral prints in their collection! And so with the lightweight fabrics and blue - grayish shades. Well, Erdem is one of them, you can see blue, grey, yellow, beige everywhere. I love Erdem's. They are classic but not boring and old. Look at those floral to hummingbird prints. Beauty!

Hello people! How was the hype of New York Fashion Week? Okay, this is probably my most favorite collection of all during New York Fashion Week. It's Marchesa Spring 2012 RTW. The collection is so lovable! Sheer fabrics, tulle, drape, ruffles, embroidery, feathers, swarovsky, pastel colors and lots of tulle! I love how tulle make dresses lovely and beautiful. This collection somehow remind me of Swan Lake's princess Odette. Broken white, blue, and shades of grey reflect her well I guess. I would definitely wear these dresses to most parties. Yes I will. They are beautiful, elegant, sophisticated, perfect! I love Swan Lake very much and how couldn't I love this collection?

In life, you're the director, script writer, actor/actress, costume designer, music director, and else. Exciting isn't it? But still, God is the one who decide. He's the producer, He holds the key, He decides, whatever you choose, whatever you plan, whatever you do is meant to be or not. You can do nothing about God's plan. But you can always try your best and always see the bright side in everything. Most people stop when a quite big obstacles start to show. But for me, a perfect life without obstacles is a bore. You go down, you get back up, that takes time and energy indeed. But don't forget, it also takes one step closer to better version of yourself.
People come and go. They come and go, and never come back. But some people may come, may go, but then they're back. Filling your life all over again. Maybe it's called fate, or maybe not. But I believe in something that says some people may born related to you. They fated to be in your life, and you in their life. How do you know? No one knows. But somehow there's something in your heart that says it won't let go. Your heart simply doesn't wanna let someone that someone kinda special to go when they start to walk away. Well, it's more like you can't live without them, or to be exact, you don't wanna live without them.
Perfection is boring, imperfection may be sucks too, but just ordinary is so overrated. I would like to say random will be much better. Things change, become better, or worse but then growing slowly to be best. That's okay to fail, people say you are not going to succeed if you haven't fell yet. Time's running, things change, people change. People left, yes they are, they will, it's just a matter of time. Maybe sometimes you don't wanna let go, but let it be. Things happen for a reason, and that reason may lead you to who you are going to be. Give thanks, because they ever been in your live, and they took part in creating a better you.

Casual Thursday

Spent last Thursday with beloved friends, having tea time, desserts, and of course girls talk! There's nothing more fun than this, when girls meet suddenly world seems theirs. Funny sometimes, but that's why I love being a girl. All the stuff which only girls can have, everything fun!

By the way, I'm still having my holiday, but it's almost over (of course). Will come back to my busy routine, exams and stuffs on Thursday. *deep exhales* Yea but that's all I have to do since I'm a student, my priority is to study. But who says we can't having fun between those pile of papers and exams, we can! hellyeah!

This holiday have been pretty much unproductive. Spent most days watching, reading, going out, eating, and stuffs. Things have been pretty tough too. Untouched assignments are still there and I'm currently stuck. I need will and faith to do all these things. I feel like finishing school as soon as possible, I will miss it obviously but right now, that's what my mind want me to think.

Woah! I finally reach my 100th post! Well I started my blog from a long time ago, but I didn't actively blogging so it takes quite times to reach this 100th blog. The reason why I blog was I love fashion and when I went searching and surfing the Internet, I found these fashion blogger who encourage me to make one by just seeing their blogs! I thought they were amazing, and so does now, they are amazing! Some of them are Caroline Robianto from Coraline and Michelle Hendra from Miss chelle. They have amazing style and I adore them so much. And then this blog was born. Back then this blog wasn't really a fashion blog, it's more like my personal diary and my activities daily. But as the time passed, this blog turned into a fashion blog named Little Red Ribbony Hood. It was really back then. I love ribbon more than anything and I love red! A lot! So I decided to name it Little Red Ribbony Hood.

I was at my young age when I created this blog, and I've grown up now. My style changes, I don't love ribbons and stuff anymore. I think as I'm growing up, my style is growing to. I never know what my style really is but yeah, that's just me. What I'm wearing is me, and parts of myself that I wanna show you. As I'm growing now, I think Little Red ribbony Hood isn't suitable anymore. So I decided to change this blog's name. Well, starting from now Little Red Ribbony Hood will change into SKINNY BARBIE Skinny Barbie will contain more daring me, more edgy, casual, comfortable and colorful me. It's still me after all. But I promise you, there will be more outfit post! I have trouble documenting my outfit because no one took photos of me. But I promise I will do outfit post more often. So, I present you the new me! Been approximately a month and yes, I touch blogger again. And I'm writing this as an early maturing young lady, I reached my legal day, I'm now 17 years old! I've been catching up with school thingy and adjusting here and there, hoping everything went well. No matter how busy I am, I can never forget about this world read: blogsphere. Much things crossed my mind pretty often and I just can't think much about them all. If only I have an automatic mind organizer which obviously impossible. Yea nay me.

Hello folks! I'm back! and woahhh, it's June already. Freaking fast huh? Time flies indescribably fast, and I'm having my holiday already! it's bright, hot and sunny, perfect time to put on our bikinis and get tanned! Who's agree? Too bad my chicks are busy this hols and i can't kidnap them to our own paradise. Not cool!

So I'm currently enjoying my lazy afternoon before those mentally and physically torturing days start. This will probably be my last post until approximately 3 weeks later. Next week (which is starts tomorrow) I'm having exams marathon, Monday to Sunday the schedule is full of exam, exam and exams. Well, maybe so does the next two weeks. Anyway, I'm supposed to read my civic moral education handouts right now and memorized those 50 pages of not really important writings, but since my brain is too tired it can receive nothing more about studies, so I decide to write down this post with photos I took just yesterday!
Quick! Quick! I don't have so much time, I have to get ready soon because I have an invitation to attend and still have to memorized those annoying handouts when I'm home. Adios chicas!!

Hello people, greeting you on the first day of April. Woah, it's April already, how fast. I didn't expect 2011 would be this fast but, yeah the truth is, it is. I'm still the same me, the one that use to daydreams a lot and keep puzzling her future, only some things changed and I didn't feel any of it anymore. Do I miss them? yeah a lot, but how do I get them back? I don't even know. I would love to get the old soul with overjoyed feeling and excitement doing everything back but, what would I do? World is sick, life is suffocating, time is rushing, people start losing minds, disastrous.
The past is in the past. Everything that we can do is nothing except start to change. Lose something, get them back. you can't get them back, find something better. There's always be an end in everything, and that's true.

Too white, too pure, too plain.
I believe in every relationship, in everything, trust is one of the most important element of all. Don't you think so? A simple thing, yet so hard to plant, too hard to get them back once you lost them. There are two option to get them. option 1. you'll get them in time effortlessly, option 2. pleasing so hard, struggling so hard just to get one. May I add one last additional option? Living without it.
I believe in order to make everything work we have to have trust. Trust in yourself, trust in the one you work with, trust in the one you love, trust in everything, in everyone. Trust.. simple huh? but you can never imagine how hard it is just to get such that simple thing, especially once you lost them.
And the worst is when you lost that trust itself in yourself. Longing the time to bring back the past, your past, the old you, the one that you used to know best. The time when everything were grey, nothing you will know, nothing to be done, when you see nothing, no one, even not yourself. The time when you lost the trust. Living half alive, no soul to lean on. misguided. miserable. Keep running. in everlasting circle. Alone.
