Impossible right?! Since most doctors prescribes vitamin C to any one at any age. Did healthcare practitioners prescribing toxic to people?

Of coarse not. Vitamin C is an essential vitamins for the body. But for some reason it will turn to be a toxic if it was taken with soft -shell food such as shrimps/prawns which has higher concentration potassium arsenic compounds. A chemical reaction occurs and the original non-toxic elements of vitamin c change to toxic elements.

A woman suddenly died unexpectedly with signs of bleeding from her ears, nose, mouth & eyes.
After a preliminary autopsy it was diagnosed that death was due to arsenic poisoning.
Where did the arsenic come from?

The police launched an in-depth and extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to come to solve the case.
The professor carefully looked at the contents. In less than half an hour, the mystery was solved.
The professor said: 'The deceased did not commit suicide and neither was she murdered, she died of accidental death due to ignorance!'
Everyone was puzzled, why accidental death?
The professor said: 'The arsenic was produced in the stomach of the deceased.' The deceased used to take 'Vitamin C' everyday, which in itself is not a problem.
The problem was that she ate a large portion of shrimp/prawn during dinner. Eating shrimp/prawn is not the problem that's why nothing happened to her family even though they had the same shrimp/prawn. However at the same time the deceased also took 'vitamin C', that is where the problem was!

Researchers at the University of Chicago in the United States , found through experiments, food such as soft-shell contain much higher concentration of five
potassium arsenic compounds.

Such fresh food by itself has no toxic effects on the human body.

However, in taking 'vitamin C', chemical reaction occurs and the original non-toxic elements change to toxic elements.

Arsenic poisoning has magma role and can cause paralysis to the small blood vessels. Therefore, a person who dies of arsenic poisoning will show signs of bleeding from the ears, nose, mouth & eyes. Thus as a precautionary measure,

DO NOT eat shrimp/prawn when taking 'vitamin C'.
This is to check for the fetal position, the amniotic and the placenta. It's almost week before my due and I really felt nervous as I saw my ultrasound report. Though the request issued and I undergone 3 days before it will be read by my doctor, as a healthcare provider, I understand what was written in my result. I actually felt that my blood pressure increases as I found that my placenta is on grade 2.

In reading the results it was written as grade 0,1, 2 and 3.

Grade 0

    Late 1st trimester-early 2nd trimester

    Uniform moderate echogenicity

    Smooth chorionic plate without indentations

Grade 1

Mid 2nd trimester –early 3rd trimester (~18-29 wks)

    Subtle indentations of chorionic plate

Small, diffuse calcifications (hyperechoic) randomly dispersed in placenta

Grade 2

Late 3rd trimester (~30 wks to delivery)

    Larger indentations along chorionic plate

Larger calcifications in a “dot-dash” configuration along the basilar plate

Grade 3

    39 wks – post dates

Complete indentations of chorionic plate through to the basilar plate creating “cotyledons” (portions of placenta separated by the indentations)

More irregular calcification with significant shadowing

May signify placental dysmaturity which can cause IUGR

Associated with smoking, chronic hypertension, SLE, diabetes

.

Obviously these explanation of placenta grade will not be written in the ultrasound result. Because your obstetrician was the one going to read it for you. So upon seeing it, if your not in an allied medicine field or a type of person who rely everything to your doctor to explain everything this will not going to make you panic especially for first time moms. What does this mean?
Grade 0 and 1 is good. The baby can be deliver via vagina. Grade 2 and 3 is already an indication to have a caesarean section delivery.

Then again I am one of the little percentage who wants to know every little detail especially on my laboratories. And the effect, it made my blood pressure soar a little bit higher which is not a good idea before I gave birth a week from then.

Sometimes I wish I known a few so as I will not be affected. But at the end of the day I am thankful still though it made me panic at least I know what to expect.

In fact as I type this post my right hand were not doing well still. I already mentioned this to my doctor and she only advised me to have a stress ball to squeeze from time to time. It's been a month or so that I felt this. I just have to manage it by exercising yet no single seconds that the numbness fades nor the tingling sensation. It was as if a dead hand when I try to grasp things I can but it needs support. I am a little bit of worried but as I prioritize today is me giving birth. So far I can tolerate the feeling but I know sooner after I give birth , I will focus on treating this.AS I look for my own medication, I tried to look online what is exactly I am suffering to. Providing the symptoms I am feeling, I found to categorized it as a carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis or Hands Paresthesia.

Carpal tunnel syndrome

Numbness, tingling pain, and weakness in the thumb, index and middle fingers as a result of irritation of the median nerve being irritated at the wrist.

Tendonitis

Hand tendonitis symptoms occur when the tendon, the tissue that connects the hand's muscles to its many bones, becomes inflamed. Tendonitis often occurs due to overuse, although the tendons can become inflamed after an injury. Any tendon in the body can develop tendonitis, but the hand and wrist are particularly prone to the condition because they are so often used.

Hands Paresthesia

Vitamin B12 deficiency and severe conditions of multiple sclerosis are some of the conditions which may cause the tingling sensation. A person experiencing a heart attack also experiences paresthesia in the hands. There are several other conditions which will cause such symptoms. Some of these are low levels of thyroid, any form of diabetes, stroke, migranes, Sjogren’s syndrome and the Guillain Barre Syndrome. The use of certain medications is also known to cause this condition. Antihistamines and drugs that are used to treat migraines often cause these symptoms.

Neither the three condition I don't want to suffer. Especially I know it will limits my bonding with my baby when she arrives. As for today I will use home remedies, like ice pack, stress ball or exercise just to ease temporarily the numbness and tingling.

I just want to try this thing I have read year 2009. I know some were facts and some were just traditions. Still I am taking consideration in doing this after giving birth.

I still remember 2009, I am working at Aegis People Support. I was being seated beside a pregnant tenured employee who happened to read a blog of Giselle Sanchez from Pep.com website. Since it was prohibited in the office, so she hides it from time to time. Then I've got the guts to ask what is she reading about. She said a tips after giving birth. She was 8 months pregnant during that time. I admit it didn't interests me, not until I got pregnant this year and remembers her. Here is what Ge-lai about. The blog was written by Ms. Sanchez.

Ge-lai, is a post-partum care that has been practiced for centuries in China and up to now by the traditional Chinese. And why? There are many advantages. I have an 80-year-old Chinese lady friend who has had six children, but she looks like she is 50 years old and as strong as a 40-year- old lady. Mrs. Dy has no veins in her hands, no wrinkles, never had cosmetic surgery nor botox. Take note, she is 80 years old. She told me her secret was her practices after giving birth: Ge-lai. Let me go over some of them for our future mothers who wish to reap the benefits.

    1. No bath for a month!

The Chinese believe that when you give birth, all your pores open up because of the extreme pressure and exhaustion. You also accumulate a lot of “cold” in your body such that bathing brings in more “cold” even if you take a bath with warm water, especially your head.

    2. After a month of NO bath ge-lai expert will assist you took bath with matching different herbal boiled leaves .

    3. Then a 9 days uterus massage to lift back to its normal position and a rewarding bathing pass and again have a final massage.

Advantages of the one-month bath abstinence: faster recovery, better resistance to sickness like colds, fever, “binat”, and more time for your baby and to breastfeed.

Abstaining from taking a bath also abstains you from going out, which gives you a mandatory one-month rest, which you badly need after giving birth.

    4. Twice a day, sit on boiled guava leaves. You have to be naked when you do this, okay. If you’re wearing a panty, it won’t work.Seriously speaking, the steam of the guava leaves will hasten the healing of your wounds down under and will make your uterus contract faster (breastfeeding will also hasten this).

    5. Eat lapu-lapu, cook in soup with ginger to heal the stitches in your belly (for caesarian operations) and stitches in your pep_ (for normal delivery). I actually researched on why this works. Apparently, lapu-lapu is rich with omega 3 fish oil , which is enhances tissue repair in our bodies.

    6. Drink Seravallo wine. This is made from the bark of a tree in Brazil which is very rich in Iron. Broken sleep patterns from breastfeeding or taking care of the baby makes you lose a lot of iron in your body. Seravallo replenishes your iron. It is safe for nursing mothers because it is more of a medicinal tonic than a wine.

    7. Eat soups with lots of ginger and drink hot chocolate with native egg. Again this is to eliminate the “cold” in your body. Chocolate is warm. Sweets are warm. And ginger is the warmest.

    8. After giving birth and on your first four weeks after birth, wear a binder or a girdle even when you go to sleep.

    9. If you can, breastfeed. It will be great for your baby and for yourself too.

For your baby: It will strengthen your baby’s immune system. . No colic that is very common among infants. Colic is excessive crying and irritability in infants because of stomach or intestinal discomfort caused by air spasm or inflammation. This happens when infants are given formula in a bottle because they get to suck some air when sucking milk.

For the mom: Massively reduces the uterus inflammation and brings back the uterus size to normal.

It also reduces birth weight and gets you back to your normal weight in one week. It makes you lose 500 calories per feeding which means you do not need to work out so much and you can eat whatever you want since you get to lose it anyway.

Disadvantages: You will be the slave of your child or the breast pump every two hours, if not, your breast will explode of breast milk. Well, it won’t really explode but it will feel like it—it’s called engorgement.

You will be the U.F.M., the Ultimate Feeding Machine of your child. You feel helpless and you won’t get to do anything else, even write a blog entry!

But things will normalize in a month and you will learn to do other things around your breastfeeding schedule, and you will be proud that the Ultimate Feeding Machine is the Ultimate Sacrifice a mother can make for her child. And the word sacrifice is an understatement!

See the advantages?! That's why I am so tempted to try this so. :)

So as I wanted to share this to everyone. If you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant, that should give you extra of a cause to lose weight. Whereas simply being chubby carries health problems, there are additionally problems for the infant when you find yourself overweight. When you are attempting to get pregnant, you need to observe diets. However, if you are already pregnant, you should talk to your doctor as a result of losing weight may additionally hurt the baby. While your weight might be putting issues in your bones, muscular tissues and veins, you must also think about what the additional weight shall be doing to your unborn baby.

The primary problem is that will be prone to further problems throughout the pregnancy, particularly in the course of the later stages. There are also dangers of needing a c-section relatively than having the ability to have the newborn naturally, which has issues in itself; there is a cause why doctors desire the natural birth. It can be very tough to see whether or not the baby is rising healthily while carrying it since the ultrasounds could not be capable to see clearly through the fat. You can miss out on finding out about pure birth defects or whether there are any risks of your child being born with a disability. That is typically an important part of the being pregnant to search out out whether the child may have the perfect chance of survival and a high quality of life.

There can even be more danger of developing infections when carrying the newborn and when giving birth. Immune system will be much decrease and physique might be affected by the surplus weight already; it'll all be weakened by carrying a baby. It'll acquire weight while going by means of being pregnant and that is healthy for a lot of women. Nevertheless, in case a person already chubby, you should not gain as a lot as you'll when you were at a healthy weight degree to begin with. In fact, in case you are overweight, you must refrain from gaining greater than 10 pounds.
She's doctor with passion on her profession. I've met a lot of medical practitioners whom truly knowledgeable with their specializations but I rarely met those with passion to be called. Enjoys the everyday duties though how monotonic it seems to. Doing the same thing everyday over and over again. She really is concern of the mother's health, the baby's health and the father's responsibility, the expenses. She provides everything what to expect. Though I am in a medical field as well and I know some of what she was telling, it's still good to heard facts from her with the hubby as we act as students learning he basics.

First day of this month I had my pre-natal check up with hubby also a first meeting for Ferry and Paul with the beautiful OB I am boasting to them. While inside the cubicle with the OB, the couple didn't bother themselves going out of the doctor's office. So they heard everything what the jolly doctor told me. It's just two weeks the last time we met but I gained 7 pounds. Now I owe her 5 pounds she said. And even shared it to Ferry to remind me that I must control my weight within 3 weeks before delivery. I am only allowed 2 pounds to gain every time we have a consultation. After my sugar problem, now it's weight gain. Anyway I can make all of these! I know I can and I must! :D

That means I have to control my favorite food intake which is most composed of sweets. I also have to lessen my rice consumption. All those I need to lessen were my favorites. I felt like I have nothing to eat then. And since my eldest naughty brother just came home from work abroad, he brought different kind of chocolates that I love, which I am envy to death when he's goofing around and being so devilish teasing me that I can't taste one. Gladly after two weeks I survive it all. He's meanness and the sweet tooth. I set to my mind that I don' like sweets anymore because my baby don't like it. A little of motivation and support from hubby I managed to make my sugar test to normal. Last Saturday I had the laboratory test which is the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test and gave me a good result. After fasting for a total of fifteen hours , I(10 hours fasting and 4 hours testing) at least the suffering has its good result. But that doesn't mean I can go back to my favorites, Still I need to control myself especially now that I am on my eight weeks. My beautiful OB advised me to loose some weight or at least moderately eat so I am not going to gain more weight also the baby inside of me and just enough for the baby so I can easily deliver her via normal spontaneous delivery. I am afraid but more of an excitement. I wish tomorrow is already November :).
Guilty of being addicted to sugar and sweets. Prior pregnancy I really love sweets. Good thing I a person loves adventures and extraneous activities. Resulted that excessive sugar is being formed into energy that I wastes every time. Also because of that activities I am not becoming a diabetic patient. Too much sugar intake is being compensated by my activities too. But now that I am pregnant everything has changed. Heavy activities has been lessen. But still my intake is the the same as what I have prior pregnancy. Obviously it will cause differently to my body. Last August 17, I had to undergo a laboratory exam called Oral Glucose Challenge Test. It was requested by my OB as a requirement in determining if I may progress a diabetes related to pregnancy. She said every woman at the age of 25 and above are required to have this kind of laboratory test because in this age of a pregnant women more suspected of having a Gestational Diabetes. And my laboratory tests result.. I failed.. The normal values of glucose for pregnant women is 70 to 140 mg/dl and my result was 182 mg/dl. So obviously I have to do something about it. I want to blame this condition to my brother who recently arrived home and brought so many chocolates. Just right in time I am on my third trimester. hehehe

That was just a joke of coarse.. Hehehe But literally I commit now to a new OB. My former OB seemed to be clue less on what I am pertaining to when it comes to my pregnancy. She is nice but most of the time she acts as if she didn't know what I am talking about. Heller! We're both in a medical field. One very simple and funny example was a Doppler. It is the instrument used to hear the baby's heartbeat aside from using stethoscope and OMG she ask me "what is it look like?.. Ta dah! In a split seconds I decided not to see her again. For a month I content myself having a monitoring through the health center. Also avail for the free pregnancy vaccines. Practicality wise, vaccines in my OB cost much but has the same content when you went to the health centers. So I am pretty sure that I am safe and made the right decision in a month. Now the search is over, finally a good friend suggested me her older sisters OB followed up by Ate Niko, I decided to scheduled a meeting with her last Saturday. No doubt she's good and accommodating. Our perceptions {somehow few knowledge} met halfway so its a mutual understanding. LOL. I will be meeting her again on the 13th of August.

She said upon reading my last ultrasound and laboratories that my baby is fine, he (it's a boy) is so big than usual so she advised then to stop drinking my usual pregnancy milk and changed my multivitamins to specific vitamins. She don't want me to have a hard time delivering my baby via normal spontaneous delivery. I'll be a very obedient patient Doc!Thanks for the good start.

I was so sad since yesterday I found about this thing. They have been trying to conceived for two years and my friend had a twice miscarriage now this third scenario makes her feel in deep vain. The couple really praying to have a baby. I wish this time my good friend overcome these trials. I know she can! My prayers is with them. I just want to be thankful to them and I am so flattered that among our big group of friends the couple did told to me first the situation prior to their parents and friends where they were now. All through the miles they preferred to share it to me. Basically means for me that they trusted and took me as a real friend. I will always be thankful to these couple for sharing me the good things and the triumphs of their life throughout the years not physically being together.

Blighted Ovum is a type of pregnancy loss. Usually it was called as missed abortion or a silent miscarriage. The fertilized egg (ovum) implants in the uterus (womb), but for some reason a baby does not develop. It can happen to anyone.. It usually happens accidentally. The cause of these pregnancy is still unknown. It's thought to be an accident of nature. After the egg was fertilized b the sperm the cells begin dividing. Some cells develop into the embryo, and others develop into the placenta and membranes. In this case the cells that would have become the embryo fail (probably because a mistake happened during fertilization, and there are too many or too few chromosomes), but the cells that become the placenta and membranes keep developing, so the pregnancy sac continues to grow inside the uterus and the placenta starts to form.

The woman body will not going to recognized that the baby is not developing. The usual pregnancy symptoms can be felt and the presumptive signs. This will only be found out on the first ultrasound.

This is how the Blighted ovum ultrasound looks at 12 weeks

A normal 12 week ultrasound

A blighted ovum condition may be treated by a dilatation & curettage (D&C) or local term as raspa. Or it maybe expelled by the body naturally if the woman feel pain and experienced bleeding. Normally women suffer blighted ovum had a successful pregnancy after.

It was my 21sth week. My OB said I need (she recommends) to have an ultrasound on my 20th since I was complaining of a feeling that something was not normal within my uterus. Seems like my baby is keep on staying on the lower part and I am afraid that I maybe in any risk. We postponed the ultrasound on exactly the 20th week for we want to know and possible to be more visible to visualized the gender in the 21st week. We were exaggeratedly excited. Though Huny didn't have enough and good sleep for two consecutive days, he managed to be still awake and lively to see our baby in the ultrasound monitor. We were both happy checking on him/her inside.

At first, Huny wanted a 3D or 4D ultrasound but I refused cause it only costs too much for us.We were on a tight budget since we're gonna spend for our wedding next month. We only wanted to be sure of the baby's safety and that can also be checked using the regular ultrasound, no need to spend more. We can see the baby when it come out.

As the ultrasound goes, we saw the fetus inside. He is moving, waving his hands as if he knows he/she has been viewed. He smiled. That was so amazing! Huny and I can't control our smile and reaction while undergoing ultrasound. When it's about to view the fetus gender, he/she moves his legs hiding something as if he know what the Ultrasonologist plan. Unfortunately we didn't able to check for the gender. And our baby didn't want to move his/her legs anymore. What he consistently moves was his hands on his/her face. Diverting our attention to his/her actions. Though were sort of disappointed yet were still happy seeing him/her. We didn't went home disappointed much for he/she was showing some talent even inside the womb. =)

And i just can't hide it,
I'm about to lose control
And i think i like it.
I'm so excited,
And i just can't hide it,
And i know, i know, i know, i know
I know i want you, want you.

Singing in the tune of I'm so Excited by the Pointer Sisters. This is because yesterday was my 20th week or 5 months. I am halfway to my journey to motherhood.I can feel baby move inside as it was called quickening. It's not a paranoid feeling anymore. It's not the stomach wave such as called in medical term as peristalsis, not that I am hungry or any stomach ache but for real! It's for real that I can feel my baby now. Huny and I were so tempted to have an ultrasound to know our baby's gender but as for today we prefer not to. On the 30th of this month I'll be having my next ultrasound to see for our baby.

How does the 20th week fetus looks inside?

Our baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)

He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion.

Upon observation with the kids I am with everyday, they were really scary. Scary in a way that parents can't even control their toddlers for his/her wants. They said that we have a different era today. That kids were fast paced and easy to adapt with the environment. It scares me in a way and even ask myself what about my baby soon? They said it depends on the way parents brought them up, on the movies their parents allow them to watch or on the environment where they lived. Seems the Erick-Erickson's developmental stage were outdated anymore. It gives me a feeling of worries as early as today. Especially cases that I observed here in our community. She's only 1 year old but know bad expressions and bad words.Though she can't complete a word yet. I know how her mom and grandparents were strict about the movie the baby watched and to the people they let their baby to play with. So why it was still like that?.Another is Huny's nephew, her sister is a strict mom to her kid, actually I like it how she guides her son.But working away for only two week has a lot of changes to his son's attitude. It's more wild, hard to disciplined, extreme tantrums and using words which is so unlikely for a 3 year old.Even her sister and his mom having headache with that 3 year old toddler.

I don't have plans of being stay at home mom for good. I know that sooner when I give birth, I will prepare myself to look for a job. I will not be with her all the time. Our baby will be with mom and a nanny. That's our plan to help each other provide a better future for our family. I have no doubts how mom took care and disciplined kids. She's strict but she's kind.I can say she's perfect as a mom. Still I am afraid that it is different from a daughter to a grandchild. Grand mom usually were more less strict, easy to give in just to see grandchild's precious smile. As early as today I am briefing mom hat I don't want a brat kid. That I want her to guide the baby like the way her rules applied to us when we're young. My worries starts today as I see kids around.

Now that my baby inside growing bigger everyday, I experienced a little discomfort. Who would've not wanted to feel comfort? Though this is part of phases that needs to bear in pregnancy, there are ways to ease those kind of discomfort. And also I know though I am pregnant I need to do necessary exercises that will benefited me all along this stage.

Kegels Exercise

These exercises strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which support the uterus, bladder and bowel.

This is done by try stopping the flow of urine while going to the bathroom. Be sure to only do this once, as stopping the flow regularly can cause damage. Once aware of the necessary muscle, contract and relax the muscle multiple times. Try to set a goal of 200 kegels daily by the end of the pregnancy and continue these exercises after giving birth to ensure a quicker recovery.

Pelvic Rocking

These exercise strengthens the lower back, abdominal muscles and posterior muscles along with relieving pressure on the lower back and major blood vessels, increasing circulation and improving digestion. In a hands and knees position, relax the lower back, allowing it to gently tilt downward. This one way to relieve lower back pain. Do not overextend the back, as that can cause injury. Then, gently come back to your initial position. Repeat this exercise 30 to 70 times per day for the best results.

Squatting

This is a normal and relaxed position and has enormous benefits for pregnancy and birth. Squatting gets the body into the natural alignment to put pressure on the uterus, to prevent arching of the back, to shorten the birth canal, and to increase the outlet of the pelvis. To practice these stand up with the legs comfortably apart. Bend the knees slightly and tuck the hips under. Finally, simply bend forward and squat. For those who are unfamiliar with this position, it may be necessary to utilize a counter top or the back of a couch for stability while squatting

Tailor Sitting

A natural and healthy way of sitting, tailor sitting strengthens the abdominal, thigh, and lower back muscles, while also placing pregnant women into the perfect position for kegels. These is done by simply sit on the floor, or for later pregnancy stages a firm pillow and cross the legs. Tailor sitting can be done while playing with young children, watching television or reading a book

Aerobics

Studies shows that it is important to have some sort of aerobics for the last two trimester in pregnancy. These is to ensure proper stamina during delivery.Walking, swimming, and low impact aerobics are excellent for increasing energy and overall health. It is better to start for 20 minutes each day until you can make it for an hour a day. Don't pressure yourself.

I have to accomplish any of those I have shared. I know this is also for me. No more long petix mode in front of the computer..

It is about a mom who's bearing 8 fetus inside her uterus and fortunately delivered it all alive. Her name was Nadya Suleman. She has now 14 children because of a repeated in vitro fertilization. The process In Vitro Fertilization is commonly referred to as IVF. IVF is the process of fertilization by manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish. When the IVF procedure is successful, the process is combined with another procedure known as embryo transfer, which is used to physically place the embryo in the uterus.

I just brought up this topic upon browsing old hardbound files I stored. And wanted to post my share regarding on the decision of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine expelling Dr. Michael Kamrava who processed in vitro fertilization to Suleman that same year 2009 when Suleman deliver her babies.

On my shared for this, he , the doctor, shouldv'e done a thorough investigation on Suleman's background first prior the procedure. Also I believe that it also violates ethical and religious principle.Seems that Suleman was only enjoying eyes of the public. As from the start it shows that she will not be able to fund for her 14 kids alone with her work and she just made the thing for popularity and records purposes only. I guess, this is just my own opinion, she was somehow in a psychologically unstable. Taking the risk of yourself and the babies is not a good thing to do.

Talking as a first time mom and a healthcare provider too . That's why I also put the blame with the doctor, he should've known better!

I get so excited knowing I am on my way near to motherhood. I am done with the hard physiologically and emotionally stage at the first trimester. Gladly I survived it all though it means quiting my job but no regrets. I am happy. This is an exciting time of pregnancy as I see and feel the fetus changing and growing as well as watching my own body change. It is also the stage wherein disappearance of fatigue, nausea, morning sickness, and breast tenderness. So basically it's the easiest stage of pregnancy. But still I am watching out for some complication because I know though how easy to deal with these stage, it is still the phase wherein body needs to adjust with the growing fetus. More likely prone to urinary tract infections and bladder infections. Some women develop constipation and hemorrhoids. Some dietary adjustments can make women feel more comfortable and reduce these pregnancy symptoms. Women also usually start to show during this stage of pregnancy and they may notice signs of weight gain in areas like the thighs and upper arms.

Inside the uterus, the fetus develops a sleep-wake cycle and becomes much more active and inquisitive. Between 14 and 18 weeks, the fetus will start to move. Some landmarks in fetal development that happen during the second trimester of pregnancy include the development of reproductive organs, appearance of the swallowing reflex, hair growth, appearance of fingerprints, development of skeletal bones, and the development of hearing. In addition, the fetus is able to make facial expressions.

Though I have been read and studied about this fact years ago, I am still fascinated until today how magical the womans body and the fetus inside how it develops.

I am hoping badly that something like bc blogger must start as soon as possible since I have new blogs. I wanted to gain links, traffic, ranks and most especially friends. Before I always joined bc blogger which is always being hosted by Paula, but unfortunately I always missed my email if it's instruction part. That was before when I am just a part time blogger and blogger.com was blocked on my work computer. Now that I am at home that I expect will sta for so long, I can say I am now near to my dream of being part of BC Blogger!

For this weeks question
“What is one tool, tip, secret (or whatever it may be) that you have discovered that has helped you in your blogging and would like to share to others?”

This is the hard part..err ^^.. I am not a pro at blogging, I don't earn much. As you can see I only blog if I wanted. Sometime year ago I became addicted, that lead me to reach 4 blogs. But after my page rank went down I gain lose amor at my blogging career. The thing that always excite me much is about tweaking templates. I used http://w3schools.com/ to learn more about tweaking. Designing is what I love most in blogging. I used to make own layouts and fortunately some friend appreciate and hire me.

Our Sponsors for this week are:

I experience a severe consistent dry cough three days prior I went to a doctor. I was complaining of non phlegm but totally itchy dry larynx. When I went for a check-up a doctor advised me to undergo a chest x-ray. I really wanted to refuse of it because I have been undergone x-rays three times in a year due to employment reasons. My lier mind thinks fast and provides a reason to the doctor that he can never disagree to. I told him that I am suspecting pregnancy though I am just a week delayed. I have an irregular period and I never expect to be pregnant since I am doing a lot of vices in the past month. Just an alibi to sum it.What to expect, of coarse the doctor said okay and even changed my antibiotic to a safe one which is Amoxicillin. Before I took the medicine I don't know what had happened that it crossed my mind to bought a pregnancy kit. Even myself was not convinced of buying it but for the first time my instinct lead me right. Yes! this is just the first time. I always experience my instinct to be a misleading clue. When I used the kit it shows us what we wanted but shocks us both. We're happy but more of a worried. But worries vanished when we immediately went to my first pre-natal check up.
Considering the presumptive signs are:
Absence of menstrual period ( I have irregular period and absence of it doesn't make sense to me at all)
Not so obvious craving (we always teased each other having a deadly sin gluttony that's why this one not seemed to be obvious)
Nausea ( I have an excuse of lack of sleep since I am working graveyard shift)
Vomiting ( I really have a bad stomach every after I am full)
Frequent Urination ( I never noticed it because it is also one of my excuses not to work much in the office)
Breast Changes ( I know it composed of fats and I am gaining weight obviously it will gain too)
Discharge ( I never notice it since I always change pantyliner every time I feel uncomfortable)

See, I have a lot of reasons that's why I never thought of it. In short only my instinct that guides me to found it out that I am soon to be a mom.

More common in children under the age of 10.In leukemia, abnormal white blood cells divide out of control and crowd out the normal cells in the bloodstream. The abnormal white blood cells are not mature, and therefore cannot carry out their infection-fighting function in the blood. The man who has no inner-life is a slave to his surroundings.
~Henri Frederic Amiel
Years before treading the murky waters of our dismal American economy, my husband and I challenged ourselves to seek the positive side of a simplified lifestyle. With eyes wide open we made a conscious choice to live within our means rather than kill ourselves living beyond them. Simplifying in many ways means doing without. For us the bottom line translates to a positive outcome though I must admit, it's not all sunshine and rainbows.
The house we've lived in for the past twenty years is a pretty good example of real estate with no bells or whistles. Most people refer to it as quaint, but frankly I've seen phone booths with more square footage than our living room. One or two things out of place in this small house and all of a sudden it looks as if I haven't done any housework since the Reagan Administration.
If you're trying to picture our humble abode, it's not exactly Barbie's Dream House. It's probably the same size, but I imagine Barbie has better plumbing. We don't let it bother us. I'm confident it's only through the Grace of God that we enjoy indoor plumbing in the first place. So what if it's not possible to take a shower and run the dishwasher at the same time without risking a scalded appendage or two? Maybe the guy who invented paper plates suffered from the same problem, and look what it did for him!
Our "Graceland" was built 140 years ago on ground originally used to stable horses. About 141 years ago the horses left town, and I know why. The draft that blows through our living room in the winter could knock a Clydesdale off its feet. I'm the only person I know who dresses according to the wind chill factor -- in the living room. As you might have guessed, I've amassed quite an extensive sweater collection, and there are days when I wear them all at the same time. If it's cold enough outside, I end up looking like the Michelin Man. But, it beats having to work sixty hours a week just to afford the mortgage payment on one of those houses with the newfangled, double-paned, insulated, energy-friendly windows I keep hearing about.
Over the past twenty years we have discovered what makes a house comfortable and it has nothing to do with acreage, inground pools, or multi-car garages. We have none of the above, unless you count the moat around the sump pump as an inground pool of water. Yet, people often remark about the cozy and inviting atmosphere that flourishes here. A home is comfortable and inviting when the occupants are relaxed and content. It's just that simple.
We don't watch our DVDs on a TV the size of a roadside billboard. Of course, we don't have a room large enough to accommodate one of those things anyway, but we do sit down together every night and relish each other's company over a home-cooked meal. Neither one of us is ever in a rush to get out the door to a second job.
On Sundays we savor a pot of coffee and the Sunday paper. We read it all afternoon if the mood strikes us. Well, the truth be told, it is a bit of a squeeze finding a spot on our downsized coffee table for the coffee pot and that big fat newspaper, especially if the idea of bagels and cream cheese enters the picture. Somehow we juggle things and make do.
We make no pretense of striving for the good life. We enjoy the good life every day.
Free from the financial burden of keeping up with everyone else allows us time for laughter and fun. I imagine it's not easy to relax by the pool when you are robbing Peter to pay the pool man.
The price paid in time alone (not to mention stress and aggravation) to support state-of-the-art home theaters, flashy cars, and overpriced real estate, along with countless other so-called amenities is staggering. Without a doubt it quells the occasional twinge of envy I have over the luxuries of others. Our luxury is having no worries about how to pay for big-ticket toys.
We spend a great deal of time at home, cramped quarters, drafty rooms and all. I don't mind a bit when we are snuggled together on the couch under a cozy afghan enjoying an old movie, or out on the side porch sipping iced tea and basking in the beauty of a summer sunset.
Oh, we occasionally grumble about how grand it would be if we could take a shower and run the dishwasher at the same time, but we get over it.
Especially when we consider that at the close of last year we made our final mortgage payment on this little house, many years in advance of the scheduled payoff date. I'm positive we were not expecting this outcome when we made our decision to live a simplified life. It just turned out to be one of the perks.

Lol! Just kidding of coarse! But instead a new chapter of my love life! hihihi This year hopefully my year. It's time to fly high! If Ferry took 2010 as their year of stepping a new journey well this will be mine! I wish and I pray that no unexpected stoppers this time. Huny for the nth time proposed and I did said yes last year but the April Fools day was unexpected and due to norms we need to reschedule for a year of our almost planned wedding by that time sometime supposedly August.

That must be the biggest changes of my love life for this year. We have been together literally for 4 years and 5 months. It took long before I said yes to wedding , because I am not a believer of marriage before. And basically I don't intend to get marry before 25 years old. Yes! were living in one proof but that doesn't mean were already married. Just to call it a test. Test that took 4 years to be proven..hihihi..

I am still on the my way persuading huny to have a civil than a church wed because it is so expensive. Wish he give in! My uber conservative snob! I admit as a female am dreaming of a grand wedding but not as of the moment! It can wait! But Huny wants a one time big time. Ouch it's a pocket burden! Anyway whatever it takes, the important fact is were still together and counting more years with each others arms!
